Great place, inside and out. The outdoor terrace is definitely a highlight, but the interior is also beautifully done. Absolutely great value for money. Be sure to make a reservation!

Everything was simply fantastic! The location right on Lake Constance is perfect!

I ordered a medium rump steak with pumpkin and mushrooms, and I received a steak that was almost still rare, along with a plateful of potatoes. The mushrooms and pumpkin were very meager. After complaining, I was offered dessert as compensation, which I thought was very nice. The location is truly top-notch, and the ambiance is also very special. The stars are deducted for the service and friendliness.

We celebrated our son's baptism at the restaurant. The location is gorgeous, with a view of the lake, and the food is truly excellent. Everything went smoothly, and the price we paid for the entire event was fair. A special thank you goes to the Romanian waiter who was on duty that day. He definitely deserved an award for everything he did. He was friendly, very attentive, remembered everyone's drinks, and lovingly packed the leftover food to take home. He was basically there for everything we needed. One thing that could be improved is the decorations. While you can bring your own decorations and take them back with you at the end, it would be much more helpful if the restaurant, in cooperation with a decoration company, included an additional service in the price. This would make organizing large parties much easier, as you'd have one less thing to worry about. In other words: A huge thank you for everything!

Fantastic food! The location directly on the lake is sensational. The view of the shipyard isn't particularly beautiful from inside, but it's unavoidable if you sit by the window. A separate room upstairs can be booked for speeches, etc. Great rooftop terrace! Verdict: Definitely worth a visit ✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️ The staff are fun and work reliably and quickly 👍. The food was well-portioned, creatively presented, and very tasty!

The terrace is beautiful with a view of Lake Constance. The pasta was very al dente. I actually wanted to return it, but then you'd be eating alone. It's a shame, because it's a beautiful location and close to the hotel where we stayed.

Lovely restaurant set on the shore of Lake Constance (Bodensee). If you're lucky you might also see the Zeppelin flying around over the lake.

Ordered food for pickup. Cheeseburger, fries, and a side salad. The salad was very small. The fries and truffle mayo were good. The burger was rather thinly topped and had been better. The patty was good, though. The staff was quite unfriendly.

We celebrated our wedding at the Keller-Werft on April 26, 2025, and it was stunning. Thank you so much for this delicious buffet. All of our guests were absolutely thrilled. Sergio is the waiter you could wish for, always super friendly and attentive. Thank you, thank you, thank you. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Keller-Werft and its beautiful club room. I don't get it... tons of good reviews... I've probably been there every time the chef was off... I won't be checking this out a third time. The food is neither Italian nor good. There are far better alternatives...

This restaurant is the worst. We went there with three people and left with a bill of €93 (3 meals and three drinks), just as hungry as before and feeling like we'd been ripped off badly. A meal for €26 with a tiny piece of tasteless, almost unseasoned, cold meat and a couple of pieces of lukewarm, equally tasteless, and overcooked vegetables. If you're looking to get ripped off, go ahead. Maybe it's better to throw your money into Lake Constance.

We had a truly wonderful meal on the terrace, with a clear view of the lake. The lunch menu included fish fillet with rice. Two large fillets promised a great dining experience. But what a disappointment! The fish was completely unseasoned, just like the mushy rice. This was supposed to be authentic Italian cuisine!

Cool location by the lake, busy, food looked delicious, so I wanted to go back the next day. Service was a bit unfriendly; the waiter should have informed me that the restaurant would be closed the next day.

Dear Keller-Werft Restaurant Team, We are truly disappointed that our reservation didn't work out again... You should seriously consider installing an electronic reservation system if you're not only unfriendly on the phone, but also don't speak German, and therefore enter random times in your book without mentioning the kitchen's opening hours. The final straw was then that you made us look stupid in front of our guests... no apology, nothing... It's a shame, we've always enjoyed eating with you... and we're very disappointed.

Unfortunately, the service staff was very unfriendly, so we decided to eat at another restaurant. What a shame.

My family and I ate at this Keller-Werft restaurant last month. We will never go back to this restaurant because the food is all convenience food (no freshly prepared sauces or anything else). After our son developed a food allergy, the chef didn't even show up to explain what was in the sauce. We wouldn't recommend this restaurant if it puts customers' lives at risk.

It was unfriendly. There were so many free tables, and they wanted us to sit in front of the entrance in the blazing sun to have a drink. The tables were for people who were eating. What a shame.

On our first day of vacation, we happened to pass by the Keller shipyard. We were immediately captivated by the ambiance...the food and service were outstanding...just what you'd expect from Italian cuisine and the atmosphere...everything top-notch...We'll definitely be back...the price/performance ratio...is perfect.😃

We were kayaking, docked almost directly in front of this wonderful restaurant, and arrived 10 minutes before the kitchen closed. Despite that, we were still able to order lunch: delicious spaghetti a la Bolognese with salad. Plus, the service was very friendly and the drinks were cool in a great atmosphere—we thoroughly enjoyed it.

I like to recommend good restaurants for lunch or dinner to my wife on business trips. The location and good reviews were just what I needed, especially since we both appreciate Überlingen. Unfortunately, she was treated with disdain every time: bad table, long wait, bad service... And: because the food was so good, even twice! So, if you want to dine alone: ​​forget it! Go somewhere where the waiters know their job. What a shame!

A very nice restaurant right on the lake. Great atmosphere, whether on the terrace or inside. All the dishes are highly recommended. From pinsa to rump steak, everything is delicious. We had starters, main courses, and desserts, all excellent! Especially the tiramisu. The servers are very friendly and know their job; a big compliment to the kitchen team. There's also a rooftop terrace, open from 5 p.m. We'd be happy to come back.

On May 30, 2025, I had lunch at the Keller-Werft in Überlingen. The restaurant's location is stunning, right on the lake, and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, the manager and some of his staff should reconsider their tone and friendliness toward guests...a shame for an otherwise beautiful place.

We ate here twice during our vacation. The food is excellent. Whether it's pasta dishes, fish, or pinsa, everything is very good. The salad is also crisp and fresh. We'll be happy to come back.

The location is very nice. That was about it. We had tagliatelle with asparagus in a burrata and saffron sauce. The tagliatelle was mushy and tasteless; you had to use a magnifying glass to find the asparagus and imagine the saffron flavor. A complete disaster! The pinsa had a good base, but the topping was tasteless, and the cheese was rubbery. It was just about adequate, and after adding salt, pepper, and olive oil, it was edible. The small salad was okay. I don't know if the kitchen was having a bad day.

Our mandatory stop in Überlingen – a pleasure every time! When we are in Überlingen, there is no way around the Keller Werft. Italian cuisine is simply fantastic – fresh, aromatic and made with a lot of love. The ambience is wonderful, especially in summer: Sitting on the terrace, enjoying good food and looking at the adjacent shipyard - there is always something to look at here! The staff is warm, attentive and just all around friendly - you immediately feel welcome. Must try: the chocolate soufflé! A poem – delicate on the outside, liquid on the inside, simply melting away. Conclusion: A place to fall in love, enjoy and come back!

In a very beautiful location right on the lake you can also sit outside. The ambience and service were impeccable - unfortunately the kitchen was probably having a bad day... with the risotto with seafood, the seafood was very firm to the bite, not to say tough. In the veal cordon bleu, the cheese inside was nowhere near melted. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all.

It was a huge disaster We didn't have a reservation and were given a shabby table. They said we could only take this one. Then an older couple came even without a reservation and they got the best seat by the window. When I said something the waiter a little Italian became loud and cheeky!!!! Not recommended at all!!!

Location top. Food flop. My wife and I went there for lunch because, according to google, the Redtaurant is supposed to be one of the better ones in Überlingen… If you want to sit nicely and have a drink, you won't be disappointed, but the food is bottom drawer. The salad beforehand was the typical run-of-the-mill Italian starter salad with the usual yogurt dressing, a huge piece of tasteless tomato and canned corn. The fish died several deaths, was hard and covered in an over-salted gray pesto and the potatoes were undercooked. That was the worst thing I've eaten out in a long time.

A great place to relax and unwind in Überlingen, away from the tourist crowds. Elegant interior, simply a cool location.

On a Sunday evening we had a table right by the front door, with a view of the arriving guests and the open kitchen behind us, where all the waiters regularly walked past and definitely noticed us. Despite being at full capacity and busy staff, other guests received a warm welcome while we were completely ignored. After about 15 minutes without any attention we left the restaurant as the atmosphere was unpleasant and unwelcome. Despite a beautiful location and good food in the past, the inattentive, sometimes arrogant service is a clear no-go for us. As a local, I will neither recommend nor visit the place again. One star because less is not possible to post an experience...

Actually a very nice location with a beautiful interior Unfortunately, the food here can't keep up with the location at all. Tasteless food, the sea bream was completely unseasoned and tasted of nothing. Not with garlic and spices as described on the menu. The salad was completely acidic... In addition, waiters who were completely unfriendly and arrogant and didn't really enjoy their job. It's a shame, such a beautiful location, but unfortunately the food and service are not recommended.

Fine dining, Italian cuisine, nice atmosphere. The restaurant was well filled and the flow of guests continued even after we arrived. Despite everything, the service remained friendly and confident. However, you noticed that basically all tasks had to be completed very quickly in order to be able to do justice to all guests. Of course, you can't blame the staff for this, but when you see how the business is flourishing, you can't help but wonder whether it isn't more waiters could be employed. If you want to go to the restaurant during the holiday season, you should expect a waiting time if you have not made a reservation in advance. The restaurant is modern and has an attractive bar area and an open kitchen, so that the preparation of meals can be briefly observed. The prices are appropriate for the quality of the dishes, but if you expect generous portions and hearty cuisine, you will probably be disappointed here. The food is tasty, the ingredients are fresh. The food is wonderfully prepared, there's really nothing to complain about here. Overall, 4.5 stars on average are absolutely justified.

The two of us went to Keller-Werft for dinner on New Year's Eve. We were greeted very friendly and were thrilled by the atmosphere with a view of the boatyard. Truly unique. The service was quite quick and also quite friendly. For me it was the bacon-wrapped prawns with potatoes. Very very tasty. Definitely a recommendation for anyone who wants to go out for a fancy meal.

Best combination of high quality food and service in Überlingen (lake constance). Enjoy your dish in a warm and friendly atmosphere and comfortable ambience. The old little yard in the middle of the restaurant is exceptional and brings a special charme into the restaurant. The Keller Werft menue is a good mix and dares to bring up also new taste combination, always to a high quality standard. I really recommend a visit! Tipp: Make a reservation in advance, especially when you are +2 people.

We were invited to a celebration. There is a very nice separate area for this in the upper part of the restaurant. The antipasti buffet and the desserts were perfect. The wines good. The waiters very attentive. The decoration adapted to the season. A wonderful evening.

The Keller shipyard in Überlingen offers a relaxed atmosphere in a great location directly on Lake Constance. We ordered a cordon bleu and braised beef cheeks, each with a beer. The food was good, even if it didn't offer anything exceptional from a culinary point of view. The service was fine - our order was taken quickly and served quickly, although there was a bit of a lack of personal interaction. The prices are fair and appropriate for the quality offered. The highlight of the restaurant is definitely the location: the view of Lake Constance is beautiful, and especially in the evening there is an atmospheric view of the old shipyard hall, which makes the visit special.

Unfortunately we didn't really feel welcome; they first wanted to offer us a place at a high table. We were there out of season and the restaurant was almost empty. The wrong supplement was brought and they didn't even apologize for the mistake... The food was very tasty, high price, generous portion.

Only had coffee and cake, but the ambience is great, plus a view of the lake and part of the shipyard. Also friendly staff. So, we felt comfortable and will come back. It's just a shame that only wooden boats are allowed to dock at the shipyard's jetty. 🥲

We went there without a reservation and still got a table. The mushroom risotto was very tasty and the service was very friendly! The food also came very quickly and we were very satisfied.
