Keller-Werft Gastronomie in Überlingen

Perfect service, very good food and a direct view of Lake Constance from the terrace. What more could you want? I will definitely eat here every time I visit Überlingen. In my opinion one of the best addresses in town.

Only had coffee and cake, but the ambience is great, plus a view of the lake and part of the shipyard. Also friendly staff. So, we felt comfortable and will come back. It's just a shame that only wooden boats are allowed to dock at the shipyard's jetty. 🥲

We went there without a reservation and still got a table. The mushroom risotto was very tasty and the service was very friendly! The food also came very quickly and we were very satisfied.

Brilliant location directly on Lake Constance. No matter whether winter without or summer with a terrace. We were lucky enough to have the same service staff again. Friendly, funny and accommodating. You don't find it that often anymore!

The first impression of this restaurant was fabulous and the view is stunning. However, we were quite dissatisfied with the slow service. Perhaps, more staff during busy hours could help.

The restaurant has a very nice, harmonious atmosphere. The selection of dishes is extensive and creative. You can choose from modern interpretations of Italian dishes, but also regional classics. This type of cuisine is rarely found on the lake and I can highly recommend it. Personally, I was disappointed with the tiramisu. Served in a glass with a lot of cream and a relatively flat taste. In my opinion, the service is not on the same level as the kitchen. “Our” waiter was very reduced and you rarely saw him. If you wanted to order wine, dessert or the bill, you had to wait a long time and signal more often that you had a request. We had to pour ourselves more wine. There's still room for improvement, but of course I can't speak for everyone.

Love the fact that it's sitting by the lake. That gives more appetite to the food. The lunch set is well bundled with selections. It's really worth the price. Grab your seat outside so you could enjoy the lake breeze.

On my second visit I ordered tortelloni with truffles as my main course. This consisted of a few tortelloni, some sauce and cost €15.90. When I expressed the well-intentioned and friendly criticism about the small portion to the waiter, I was only answered in a rather unfriendly tone with an implausible “such a complaint has never been made in this regard.” Unfortunately, the main course didn't even come close to filling me up and a different reaction from the waiter would have been desirable. So it will have been the last main course for me there.

It's always nice to sit on the terrace and look at Lake Constance with delicious ☕ and 🍰. By the way, there is a motorcycle parking space right next to the restaurant next to the tennis court.

Eat good! Nice atmosphere! Unfortunately the service didn't work at all!!! 1.The ice cubes I requested were not brought! 2. No one asked if it tasted good! 3.And what was the most audacious thing: It happened to us TWICE!!!! presented a false - much higher - invoice!!! After complaining twice, the right one finally came! We have a lot of understanding - and everyone can make a mistake - sometimes two! But we would have at least expected an APOLOGY after such a faux pas! But nothing like that happened - quite the opposite! We were still looked at unkindly. That's why our recommendation to all visitors to the Keller Werft: ALWAYS THOROUGHLY CHECK THE INVOICES PRESENTED TO YOU!!!

A very nice atmosphere with ships and an insight into the shipyard. High quality equipment and the food is very tasty and very cleverly prepared so that it stays hot for a long time. My husband's fries were presented in a bag and my noodles were beautifully twisted in a nest. So our side dishes were warm for a long time. The view of Lake Constance is very relaxing. We had a very nice evening. For the weekend it is better to reserve a table indoors. We were able to choose any table outside without a reservation on a Sunday evening.

We were there with a large group and everyone found the service quite aloof. Two of us were half an hour early, of course our table wasn't ready yet, but instead of being politely asked to go to the empty bar, we were treated rudely and were almost ready to leave. When everyone was there and someone wanted to draw attention to themselves by showing their hands to order, they were reprimanded for not making Laolawelle here. I don't need waiters trying to teach you how to behave, but obviously you can afford it here. Even if the food was good, there are many other restaurants here that treat their guests better.

We had to wait an hour for the food to come. Even though the restaurant wasn't really full, we had to wait really long for our meals. Although the food was good, well at least the pasta I had. From my friends I heard that the food was between okay and good, especially the steak was supposed to be only meh. The service was nice and the atmosphere was also good, but due to the long wait and the food being only partly good I am giving 3 stars. So I think if you order italian food like pasta, it is quite good but other than that its okay. If it weren't for the long wait time I might have given 4 stars, since my dish was quite good.

Very nice restaurant with a terrace, right on the lake, parking available. The food was very good and reasonably priced. Steak was well prepared, the vegetable side dish is also highly recommended. The cordon bleu with vegetables was good, but the portion was a little smaller than expected, a starter would be good. When the temperatures are cool, you get a blanket to wrap yourself up on the terrace so you can still sit outside. Super nice, anytime again.

An incredibly beautiful restaurant, furnished with a lot of love. Through the large windows you can watch the ship being built and you can see the lake and the mountains. The food was a dream, the drinks were simply wonderful. The service was on point with lots of fun and attentiveness. I couldn't have celebrated my birthday better. Come back soon!!!

Really highly recommended. The price is a bit higher, but fresh ingredients and great results. Food is simply excellent. I would actually give the service five stars, but there are a few small mistakes here and there that service staff shouldn't allow themselves to make, such as bringing the wrong wine and only admitting the mistake after you've already mentioned it yourself.

The two of us had dinner with you yesterday... it was absolutely great. We had cordon bleu with oven-roasted vegetables and asparagus ragout with scorpion fish. Mega. A big movie theater. Praise to the kitchen. We'd love to come back. The location invites you to linger. Absolutely beautifully done. Keep it up.

A really good restaurant in Überlingen with very good cuisine! Italian hospitality with the flair of Lake Constance invites you to visit here. Behind the large glass front you can see the shipyard and different boats, creating a special ambience. The menu is very varied and appealing, the quality is impeccable and the price is absolutely fair. There is also a weekly/monthly menu with other dishes, some of which include international cuisine. The selection of drinks is also very good and tailored to the location. Service staff is fast, friendly and courteous. Various starters, main courses and the Pinsa are highly recommended.

My absolute favorite address for special occasions or a fancy evening. The food is really fantastic and rather upscale, the service is great, very attentive and tried hard, but unobtrusive. The atmosphere is very nice, both outside by the lake and inside with a view of the shipyard. Prices are absolutely fair. I prefer to treat myself to truffle pasta and a delicious wine there. During the season you should reserve a few days in advance as there is always a lot going on, which speaks for itself. The kitchen is transparent and you can watch the cooking being done. For me the best restaurant on the lake!

It's been a while since we've been to the Kellerwerft for a coffee. Always the best. Very good location with a wonderful view of the Alps, there was a work break in the shipyard, very quick, careful, extremely friendly service person. Absolute feel-good atmosphere. Thumbs up...🙂

Essen war okay. Interessantes Konzept, den Handwerkern dabei bei der Arbeit zuschauen zu können. Naja, auf jeden Fall haben wir leider mitbekommen, wie der Chef einen seiner Mitarbeiter aus dem nichts total zur Schnecke gemacht hat. Danach saß er nur faul in der Ecke und hat Doodle Jump auf seinem IPhone gespielt. Fanden wir sehr unangenehm.

The ambience is really beautiful, but our food arrived cold. After we reported this to the staff, they talked about us at the counter and then ignored us. It's just sad that after a friendly criticism you don't get an apology, but are punished with disrespect. We will never set foot in this restaurant again, not being able to deal with criticism, talking about guests so that they also notice, you feel really comfortable and look forward to spending the evening there.

wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!

gestern sehr gut gegessen, Thunfischtatar und gegrillte Calamari. Die Preise sind ok, auch bei den Getränken behält man hier ein halbwegs verträgliches Mass. Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Das ganze restaurant war voll, dadurch natürlich auch eine entsprechende Geräuschkulisse. Vielleicht auch eine Strategie durch die teure Zeit zu kommen: die Preise erträglich zu halten, dafür immer volles Haus und somit ein guter Umsatz. Danke sehr, wir kommen sicherlich wieder :-)

Die Location direkt am See, eigener Landesteg für Boote, eine offene Werft, Parkplätze vor der Tür…. Was für ein Hattrick in gastronomischer Sicht. Schade dass diese Chance in der Küche verpennt wird. Sicherlich ein toller Ort in Überlingen für einen Drink und in geselliger Runde den Abend zu genießen, den schönen Ausblick, die am Steg dümpelnden Segelboote und die durchaus netten italienischen Kellner, die mit ihrem schauspielerischen Talent für die passende Stimmung einer solchen Location sorgen. Die Gerichte auf der Karte zeugen von einer Kreativität, die offensichtlich nicht vom Küchenchef stammt, oder dieser seine eigenen Gerichte nicht versteht. Ich habe selten so verheißungsvoll präsentiertes, langweilig gekochtes, fades Essen serviert bekommen, wie in der Keller Werft. Durchaus zu empfehlen ist die Tomaten Creme Suppe. Man sollte sich hier lieber auf die einfachen Gerichte orientieren. Für die pfiffigeren Gerichte auf der Karte fehlt es leider in der Küche an Können.
