It's a really nice restaurant. Unfortunately, the waiters forget to smile and be friendly.

Well, that was absolutely fantastic. We were invited here for Italian dinner today. The atmosphere and service were very friendly and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious. Fully booked. Top. 🍷👍

On May 30, 2025, I had lunch at the Keller-Werft in Überlingen. The restaurant's location is stunning, right on the lake, and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, the manager and some of his staff should reconsider their tone and friendliness toward guests...a shame for an otherwise beautiful place.

Wonderful ambiance, great service, and outstanding food. There's truly something for everyone. We had bruschetta and pinsa as starters for eight people. We followed this with a variety of main courses.

We ate here twice during our vacation. The food is excellent. Whether it's pasta dishes, fish, or pinsa, everything is very good. The salad is also crisp and fresh. We'll be happy to come back.

A place to visit in Überlingen that's not quite as crowded yet. Delicious and well-presented food in a great atmosphere, and staff that truly treats you like a guest (or queen). We'd happily return...

We've eaten at your place several times... it was absolutely fantastic. We had cordon bleu with oven-baked vegetables and asparagus ragout with scorpionfish... etc.... fantastic. Absolutely fantastic. Kudos to the kitchen. We'd love to come back. The location is inviting. Absolutely beautifully done. Keep it up.

The location is very nice. That was about it. We had tagliatelle with asparagus in a burrata and saffron sauce. The tagliatelle was mushy and tasteless; you had to use a magnifying glass to find the asparagus and imagine the saffron flavor. A complete disaster! The pinsa had a good base, but the topping was tasteless, and the cheese was rubbery. It was just about adequate, and after adding salt, pepper, and olive oil, it was edible. The small salad was okay. I don't know if the kitchen was having a bad day.

The range of dishes varies little. The same side dishes are offered with all main courses.

Very good and very well attended restaurant. Delicious and very well-made food that is made a little more elegantly than normal Italians. Prices are of course a little more, but definitely justified. The ambience with the shipyard and the furnishings, as well as the terrace right on the water are of course great.

Great view, very tasty food and very nice ambience!

We celebrated our wedding at the Keller-Werft on April 26, 2026 and it was stunning. Thank you for this delicious buffet. All guests were completely thrilled. Sergio is a waiter you could only wish for, always super friendly and attentive, thank you, thank you, thank you. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Keller-Werft with the beautiful club room. Our mandatory stop in Überlingen – a pleasure every time! When we are in Überlingen, there is no way around the Keller Werft. Italian cuisine is simply fantastic – fresh, aromatic and made with a lot of love. The ambience is wonderful, especially in summer: Sitting on the terrace, enjoying good food and looking at the adjacent shipyard - there is always something to look at here! The staff is warm, attentive and just all around friendly - you immediately feel welcome. Must try: the chocolate soufflé! A poem – delicate on the outside, liquid on the inside, simply melting away. Conclusion: A place to fall in love, enjoy and come back!

The road was immaculate and the staff was very professional. The location right on the lake is hard to beat.

In a very beautiful location right on the lake you can also sit outside. The ambience and service were impeccable - unfortunately the kitchen was probably having a bad day... with the risotto with seafood, the seafood was very firm to the bite, not to say tough. In the veal cordon bleu, the cheese inside was nowhere near melted. Unfortunately the price-performance ratio wasn't right at all.

It was a huge disaster We didn't have a reservation and were given a shabby table. They said we could only take this one. Then an older couple came even without a reservation and they got the best seat by the window. When I said something the waiter a little Italian became loud and cheeky!!!! Not recommended at all!!!

Currently, it's difficult to find a vegetarian lunch menu. I find that a shame, since it seems so easy to simply leave out seafood and farm animals.

Location top. Food flop. My wife and I went there for lunch because, according to google, the Redtaurant is supposed to be one of the better ones in Überlingen… If you want to sit nicely and have a drink, you won't be disappointed, but the food is bottom drawer. The salad beforehand was the typical run-of-the-mill Italian starter salad with the usual yogurt dressing, a huge piece of tasteless tomato and canned corn. The fish died several deaths, was hard and covered in an over-salted gray pesto and the potatoes were undercooked. That was the worst thing I've eaten out in a long time.

A great place to relax and unwind in Überlingen, away from the tourist crowds. Elegant interior, simply a cool location.

On a Sunday evening we had a table right by the front door, with a view of the arriving guests and the open kitchen behind us, where all the waiters regularly walked past and definitely noticed us. Despite being at full capacity and busy staff, other guests received a warm welcome while we were completely ignored. After about 15 minutes without any attention we left the restaurant as the atmosphere was unpleasant and unwelcome. Despite a beautiful location and good food in the past, the inattentive, sometimes arrogant service is a clear no-go for us. As a local, I will neither recommend nor visit the place again. One star because less is not possible to post an experience...

I can't rate the food because we only had something to drink...however, the concept is very interesting and the furnishings are upscale. The service was very professional, so I assume the kitchen was good. Nice terrace

Actually a very nice location with a beautiful interior Unfortunately, the food here can't keep up with the location at all. Tasteless food, the sea bream was completely unseasoned and tasted of nothing. Not with garlic and spices as described on the menu. The salad was completely acidic... In addition, waiters who were completely unfriendly and arrogant and didn't really enjoy their job. It's a shame, such a beautiful location, but unfortunately the food and service are not recommended.

An original Italian restaurant with a small shipyard directly integrated. Beautifully located on the lake with a lakeside terrace. Very nice and friendly service. Starter, main course and dessert were excellent. Highly recommended.

Very good cuisine, a very courteous boss. The waiters are always in a good mood. Very on the ball, very accommodating and do a phenomenal job even if the restaurant is always busy. If you're lucky, you'll still get a cookie. Great view (you don't really have to tell anyone) great location. A place of enjoyment. We always enjoy coming back.

Fine dining, Italian cuisine, nice atmosphere. The restaurant was well filled and the flow of guests continued even after we arrived. Despite everything, the service remained friendly and confident. However, you noticed that basically all tasks had to be completed very quickly in order to be able to do justice to all guests. Of course, you can't blame the staff for this, but when you see how the business is flourishing, you can't help but wonder whether it isn't more waiters could be employed. If you want to go to the restaurant during the holiday season, you should expect a waiting time if you have not made a reservation in advance. The restaurant is modern and has an attractive bar area and an open kitchen, so that the preparation of meals can be briefly observed. The prices are appropriate for the quality of the dishes, but if you expect generous portions and hearty cuisine, you will probably be disappointed here. The food is tasty, the ingredients are fresh. The food is wonderfully prepared, there's really nothing to complain about here. Overall, 4.5 stars on average are absolutely justified.

Good, but too expensive for me personally. The fish platter was probably bigger, we were there with guests who had already been there before.

The two of us went to Keller-Werft for dinner on New Year's Eve. We were greeted very friendly and were thrilled by the atmosphere with a view of the boatyard. Truly unique. The service was quite quick and also quite friendly. For me it was the bacon-wrapped prawns with potatoes. Very very tasty. Definitely a recommendation for anyone who wants to go out for a fancy meal.

Best combination of high quality food and service in Überlingen (lake constance). Enjoy your dish in a warm and friendly atmosphere and comfortable ambience. The old little yard in the middle of the restaurant is exceptional and brings a special charme into the restaurant. The Keller Werft menue is a good mix and dares to bring up also new taste combination, always to a high quality standard. I really recommend a visit! Tipp: Make a reservation in advance, especially when you are +2 people.

We were invited to a celebration. There is a very nice separate area for this in the upper part of the restaurant. The antipasti buffet and the desserts were perfect. The wines good. The waiters very attentive. The decoration adapted to the season. A wonderful evening.

The Keller shipyard in Überlingen offers a relaxed atmosphere in a great location directly on Lake Constance. We ordered a cordon bleu and braised beef cheeks, each with a beer. The food was good, even if it didn't offer anything exceptional from a culinary point of view. The service was fine - our order was taken quickly and served quickly, although there was a bit of a lack of personal interaction. The prices are fair and appropriate for the quality offered. The highlight of the restaurant is definitely the location: the view of Lake Constance is beautiful, and especially in the evening there is an atmospheric view of the old shipyard hall, which makes the visit special.

Unfortunately we didn't really feel welcome; they first wanted to offer us a place at a high table. We were there out of season and the restaurant was almost empty. The wrong supplement was brought and they didn't even apologize for the mistake... The food was very tasty, high price, generous portion.

Very nice location with a lake view. Terrace on the ground floor plus roof terrace. Got a good coffee and beer. Very friendly staff. Next door, separated only by glass, is the “glass shipyard”. Inside you have a direct view of the boats. I'd love to come back.

Perfect service, very good food and a direct view of Lake Constance from the terrace. What more could you want? I will definitely eat here every time I visit Überlingen. In my opinion one of the best addresses in town.

Only had coffee and cake, but the ambience is great, plus a view of the lake and part of the shipyard. Also friendly staff. So, we felt comfortable and will come back. It's just a shame that only wooden boats are allowed to dock at the shipyard's jetty. 🥲

We went there without a reservation and still got a table. The mushroom risotto was very tasty and the service was very friendly! The food also came very quickly and we were very satisfied.

Brilliant location directly on Lake Constance. No matter whether winter without or summer with a terrace. We were lucky enough to have the same service staff again. Friendly, funny and accommodating. You don't find it that often anymore!

The food was okay, but if you order mineral water you should pay attention to the prices. We paid €7.90 for the bottle of still water and €21 for medium.

A restaurant integrated into the shipyard. During the day you can watch the employees at work. The food is delicious. It seems like you're not getting full, which is not the case at all. A delight, the beer for what Germany is is quite well priced and the waiter who speaks Spanish is very nice, cracking jokes from time to time, 100% recommended.

The first impression of this restaurant was fabulous and the view is stunning. However, we were quite dissatisfied with the slow service. Perhaps, more staff during busy hours could help.

The restaurant has a very nice, harmonious atmosphere. The selection of dishes is extensive and creative. You can choose from modern interpretations of Italian dishes, but also regional classics. This type of cuisine is rarely found on the lake and I can highly recommend it. Personally, I was disappointed with the tiramisu. Served in a glass with a lot of cream and a relatively flat taste. In my opinion, the service is not on the same level as the kitchen. “Our” waiter was very reduced and you rarely saw him. If you wanted to order wine, dessert or the bill, you had to wait a long time and signal more often that you had a request. We had to pour ourselves more wine. There's still room for improvement, but of course I can't speak for everyone.

There is also parking available directly at the house, making for a comfortable and stress-free visit. In summary, the Keller Werft in Überlingen is a place that impressively combines gastronomy, craftsmanship and culture and is therefore an enrichment for the region.

Love the fact that it's sitting by the lake. That gives more appetite to the food. The lunch set is well bundled with selections. It's really worth the price. Grab your seat outside so you could enjoy the lake breeze.
