The food was delicious and arrived quickly. However, the service was very unfriendly. The tables were only cleared after payment, and there was even more complaining when she didn't receive a tip.

This restaurant is truly something special. First of all, the interior. Beautiful high ceilings in the historic building with murals, wooden floorboards, and a magnificent view of the lake. The staff—we were served by Angelo—were professional and subtly humorous. That alone was worth the visit. We had buscetta, octopus with a green salad, monkfish, and ravioli and were absolutely delighted. Authentic Mediterranean Italian cuisine in Überlingen. It's possible. The value for money is more than reasonable. We will definitely be back. Thank you for the wonderful evening.

The service was incredibly friendly and accommodating. There were plenty of "extras" to add to the actual order, something we rarely see these days. The food was also excellent. A bit "unassuming" for us, who aren't from Lake Constance and don't know the area, because it's not directly on the lake promenade but on the first floor, but it was worth it and we can definitely recommend it!

Simply fantastic! The food, service, and ambiance – everything was top-notch. We had a pizza and two pinsa pastas, and the crust was absolutely fantastic. We've never had such good crust! The value for money is also fantastic. The best Italian restaurant for miles around!

NOTE! You have to go into the market hall on the gable facing the square and go up one flight of stairs to find it! Don't think it's the restaurant on the ground floor with a nice view. Don't worry about the view, you can get it anytime, and treat yourself to a good meal with friendly service (and some view from the lovely windows facing the lake). We were two adults and three children who had dinner. Pizza for the kids and truffle toast for the adults. Very good and friendly service with a twinkle in the eye. Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this restaurant! The food is truly delicious. We ate there two evenings, and it was the best we ate during our stay in Überlingen. The prices for such an upscale restaurant are low, bistro-like. This makes for extremely good value for money. And did I mention that the food is delicious?

Very tasty Pinsa and Glutenfree Pizza. But the Menue offers much more sophisticated food.

The best restaurant in Überlingen! The food is sensational: fresh, homemade, with a great selection and very good quality. The waiters are like family, very friendly and sooooo warm-hearted. The best hosts. There's no terrace in the summer, but it's very pleasantly cool inside. Highly recommended, a must for good food in Überlingen.

A bit hidden away, you take the stairs to the cinema, past a fashion store, and you're there. Great food and atmosphere.

We wanted the lunch menu, which, according to the waiter, wasn't available despite the website stating that it wasn't available. After several complaints, we reluctantly got some, which was brought from the restaurant below. The food was very bad, and we returned over half. Can't recommend it.

Nicht zum ersten Mal sind wir sehr glücklich über die Wahl des Lokales. Alles passt hier wunderbar zusammen: der Empfang, der Service, das Ambiente und selbstverständlich das Wichtigste, die Qualität der Speisen! Etwa ein hausgemachtes Amuse bouche mit feinen Crevetten. Als Vorspeise ein Rinds-Carpaccio, begleitet von frischem, knusprigen Brot und wunderbaren hausgemachten Grissini, dann im Butter gebratene Ravioli vom feinsten und eine Pinsa Bresaola! Eine Flasche Primitivo rundete diesen schönen Abend für uns ab! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wollten eigentlich für den nächsten Abend gleich noch mal reservieren. Zu unserem Pech war dieses Vorhaben wegen einer Hochzeitsgesellschaft leider nicht möglich…

This 1st floor restaurant is not so easy to find for first time visitors, not to be confused with Allegretto on the ground floor. I love it - the great ambience in the historic walls, the warm Italian service, the high quality of the food, price/performance: everything is excellent and always recommended. In my opinion the top address in Überlingen. Thank you for a great, entertaining evening.

Sehr gutes Essen und ein wunderbares Ambiente. Der Service war super nett und vor allem aufmerksam. Kritik? Die Messer sind nicht scharf und an der Pinsa haben wir uns abgearbeitet. Dennoch eine klare Empfehlung. Sehr guter Italiener, der aber auch entsprechend kostet.

Hard to find, on the 2nd floor. But the search is worth it. Nice service including "greetings from the kitchen", nice ambience and the starter soups were fine, the pinsa was generously topped, cross-ground and fine ingredients. All in all, an absolutely worthwhile visit.

Wonderful atmosphere in the historic Greth building in the heart of Überlingen! Absolute meeting point for culinary delights. Regular events make your stay at the Ristorante Arena varied and you can always meet acquaintances and friends. If you want to enjoy a really Italian evening, this is the right place😎

Sehr schönes Ambiente, aber leider ungenießbare Tagliatelle aus dem Käselaib. Es hat ausschließlich nach Kirschwasser geschmeckt.

You wait unnoticed for quite some time before you're happy to leave again. The waitress seemed to have other things more important.

We visited the Arena Risto again and we are still completely satisfied. The wine recommendation from the boss was absolutely correct in terms of price-performance ratio. You can feel that the guest is very welcome.

This assessment must be presented in a very differentiated manner. In the past we have almost always been to the arena for family events or on holidays (like yesterday). You could say the entire family is a regular. Since yesterday, this has been done for us in the future, as we will now look for a restaurant that appreciates its guests. Despite reservations, the organizational preparation was botched and insufficient. Even before we ordered the food, we were prepared for the fact that the food probably could not be served at the same time because there were a lot of guests present (in the Gret). At this point we assumed a time difference of about 15 minutes and we're talking about pizzas here. It turned out that those of us who had ordered the pizzas had to wait 1.5 hours for them and one was even completely forgotten. This came after 1 hour and 50 minutes. When we asked what the reason for this was, we were told that the guests in the Gret on the ground floor were given priority and that the arena's service staff did not receive any pizzas despite orders. From our point of view, complete mismanagement and complete ignorance of paying customers. We had the impression that the owner or owners thought..."we have so many guests, it doesn't matter to you". We say: "We are sorry if we gave you the impression that you can treat us like this and will no longer bother you with our presence. Arrivederci and stay healthy. " Your former guests

Wir waren jetzt innerhalb von 2 Jahren drei Mal mit der Familie/Freunden im Arena essen - und es hat sich jedes Mal weiter verschlechtert. Dieses Mal mussten wir 1,5 h auf unser Essen warten (Tisch war um 18 Uhr gebucht, also keine Stoßzeit). Die Vorspeise Bruscetta war naja (die Tomaten eiskalt), das Kalbsschnitzel zäh, die Beilagen zu allen Hauptgerichten Kinderportionen. Das Rumsteak kam blutig, obwohl rosé bestellt und der Kellner musste die Weinflasche am Glasrand absetzen... Früher wurde einmal etwas Brot zum Olivenöl gereicht, aber das wurde offenbar gestrichen. Wir werden nicht wiederkommen.

The food is good, we had pizza. Ambiance, uncomfortable and loud. Our table was squeezed between 2 large tables and there was no room to breathe, it was very loud that we couldn't have a proper conversation. Having a nice evening is different. We ate quickly because we were hungry and decided to leave. The prices in the restaurant are more expensive than on the menu hanging at the entrance, that's not possible and is cheating!

Wir Hatten gestwrn unsere Weihnschtsfeier, es war mega schön! Tolles Essen,alle unsere Wünsch wurden erfüllt. Mega Service, mega Stimmung und wirklich richtig leckeres Essen. Angelo erfüllt wirklich jeden Wunsch, immer Freundlich und gut gelaunt.

Wir waren schon öfters in der Arena...unsere Begeisterung hat dieses Mal aber leider nicht unsere Erwartungen erfüllt...ohne Frage, das Essen war gut, aber es hat der Pfiff gefehlt...angefangen von der Würze bis hin zu na eben dem typisch italienischem Geschmack, wo man sagt, so kann es nur der Italiener... und wir können es uns auf der Zunge zergehen lassen... Schade....falls wir mal wieder in Überlingen sind, dann aber nicht mehr in der Arena ... Da wird sich bestimmt ein stimmigeres Lokal finden lassen... Der Service war sehr zuvorkommend.

Essen war sehr gut, schönes Ambiente, freundliches und aufmerksame Bedienung.

Was für ein schönes Lokal, Terrasse direkt an der Seepromenade, wir hatten eine Pizza und Salat, dazu ein kühles Bier, herrliche Aussicht bei strahlendem Sonnenschein. Einfach nur La Dolche Vita.

Ein wunderschönes Restaurant, tolles Ambiente, die Speisekarte weicht vom 0815-Standard ab und schmeckt dazu noch grandios und der Service lässt wirklich nichts zu wünschen übrig. Keine Beanstandungen, gerne wieder!

Das Essen war sehr gut und die Weinauswahl war der Wahnsinn. Der Service war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich würde immer wieder hin gehen und dort essen.

Waren heute zum ersten Mal ganz spontan hier - entgegen der anderen Bewertungen, ist mir insbesondere der tolle Service aufgefallen. Der „Kellner“ war stets für uns da. Das Essen und die Getränke konnte man schnell bestellen und wurden mindestens genauso schnell gebracht. Auch das Essen war hier wirklich lecker. Hier kann man einen schönen Abend mit noch schönerem Ausblick verbringen. Würde immer wieder für einen Besuch herkommen.

Het gaat hun te goed. Onvriendelijk personeel. We konden niet reserveren. We moesten maar komen kijken of er plaats was. Toen we wilden gaan eten was er nog een tafel vrij. We waren er gaan zitten, maar toen werden we op een onvriendelijke wijze weggestuurd. Het tafeltje was al voor andere gasten gereserveerd??? De eerste 2 jaar na de corona uitbraak, waren ze blij met iedere gast. Dat zijn ze schijnbaar alweer vergeten. We komen hier al verschillende jaren. Maar dit restaurant gaan we nooit meer heen. Erg onprofessioneel gedrag door het personeel.

Leer - aber total nett - ein freundlicher Kellner aus Sizilien - guten Wein ausgesucht: Ribeca - relativ unbekannt, aber absolut empfehlenswert. Essen: tadellos - üppige Vorspeise - fein angerichtet. Nudeln: top / Fleisch: prima / Trüffel: ok - Preis/Leistung: völlig in Ordnung

Wir haben zwar nur latte macchiato getrunken aber die war mega lecker und der Preis war gerechtfertigt. Den Service will ich lobend erwähnen. Kaum sassen wir im aussenbereich wurden wir schon bedient und das sehr sehr freundlich. Ich habe eine Behinderung und gehe am rollator. Als ich ins Lokal wollte da uch das WC benutzen musste rannte sogar ein servicemitarbeiter los um mir die Türe zu öffnen. So etwas an Hilfsbereitschaft habe ich noch nie erlebt. Vielen lieben Dank güf diese tolle Hilfe. Alles war sehr sauber ja reinlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder

Es war einfach lecker. Bruschetta und reichhaltigen Vorspeisenteller, der alleine schon satt gemacht hat. So viele Meeresfrüchte habe ich noch nie als Vorspeise gesehen. Danach Teigtaschen und eine „Pizza“, die nicht so genannt wird. Knuspriger Teig, voll belegt, selten so lecker beim Italiener gegessen. Aufmerksame Bedienung, die den Abend stressfrei genießen ließ. Ambiente angenehm, feine Location.

Man hat hier das Gefühl als geht es nur darum möglichst viel Umsatz zu machen und schickt lieber 2 Leute weg um eine Tisch für 4 Personen voll zu bekommen. Zuerst waren die Muscheln aus. Dann hat man mir das falsche Essen gebracht und obwohl ich es behalten habe um nicht länger warten zu müssen nicht einmal einen Rabatt oder z.B.eine Kugel Eis oder sonst irgendwas dafür spendiert. Das Essen von meinem Mann war lauwarm. Teller war nicht angewärmt. Dann hatte man das Gefühl, kaum das man fertig war mit dem Essen, dass man den Tisch gerne schon weiter geben würde. Überhaupt nicht gemütlich.

Leider konnte der Rest dem Essen nicht standhalten. Pizza Nudeln Muscheln und Steak top. Service leider unterbesetzt, unkoordniert (ein Getränk dauerte 15 Minuten) und frech ungeduldig. Das Lokal war mit Tischen vollgestopft (kann ich ja verstehen, das man jeden Zentimeter nutzen will, man sollte aber seine Grenzen wissen) Geräuschpegel war unerträglich.

Die Lage direkt am See ist schön und das Essen ist auch in Ordnung. Dafür passen auch die Preise. Das Personal ist zwar alles in allem schon freundlich und die Zeit bis das Essen da war ging auch fix vorbei. Allerdings mussten wir nahezu ewig warten und mehrmals nachfragen bis wir nach dem Essen zahlen konnten. Zudem sind die Toiletten alles andere als sauber.

Essen ist echt super. Preislich ok. Allerdings ist das Personal sehr unhöflich und arrogant. Als Familie nur Gast zweiter Klasse. Man fordert regelrecht Trinkgeld ein und wird dann frech.

U.a. wurden wir darauf hingewiesen, dass man die Pizza nicht mit dem Namen, sondern mit der Nummer bestellen muss und ist wieder verschwunden. Gute Lage, aber unfreundlicher Kellner

Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super. Das Personal ist freundlich, auch zu Kindern - Trotz Warteschlange vor der Lacation. Die Tische wurden auch nach jedem Gastbesuch gereinigt.
