Very nice guests, rustic inn with a cozy atmosphere. Price/performance ratio was okay, but for us the food was a little too low in salt and tasted too bland.
Absolutely a rare gem. Next to one of the most popular places in Tübingen, the "prancing pony" is the insider alternative for those who like good beer, surprising finger food (try the giant pickle!), Tolkien, and good conversations (no loud music, so you can actually hear each other).
The Tatami was or is a great restaurant. It sometimes takes longer, yes. But the food is always fresh and delicious! I enjoyed it where there were frames and you were able to measure something new and great every time, even during the problems with Covid. Unfortunately, I moved away and read that you are closing in the near future. That was a hard blow for me. I have always enjoyed it and hope that at least everyone who is tempted to eat here does so. Because the Tatami was and is autistic cuisine at its best.
The tenant here is a super nice Greek guy. My gyros with fries was delicious and my wife's Ortev was rich and also very tasty! Thank you also for the hospitality and after the meal for the delicious ouzo 🥰. All in all we felt very comfortable.
Between missed orders, dishes waited for fifty minutes, accounts that were strangely very difficult to do, the evening here was a disaster. Perhaps unnerved by so much confusion, the food also seemed pleasant to me, yes, but far from memorable... I hope it was just an unfortunate episode, but in the meantime I don't know if I feel like recommending the place....
The food was incredibly tasty, especially for the price. Would definitely come again.
It was just a shame that despite reservations nothing was available and we had to wait outside. Even without any information about whether and how long it would take, we would be left standing in the entrance area and ignored.
The ambience could be nice if the dining room wasn't so cramped and cluttered.
Service was quick, friendly and attentive, and the homemade lemonades come highly recommended.
