Weilheimer Kneiple in Tübingen

I don't think it's that good, it's a shame. I recently ordered a Pizza Diablo and I didn't like it at all.

Unfortunately, not much remains of the former Weilheim pub. Anyone expecting a traditional Greek restaurant will be taken aback just by looking at the menu: Greek, German, Italian, and Mexican dishes, a wild mix that inspires little confidence in the quality. And unfortunately, this impression is confirmed by the food. The salmon tasted artificial and anything but fresh. The "rosemary potatoes" turned out to be greasy fried potatoes with a few rosemary needles on top, unloving and heavy on the stomach. The service? Let's say: tried hard. Friendly, but overwhelmed. Particularly annoying: The beer was served warm. There was simply no chilled beer available. An absolute no-go. On the positive side, the portions are large. But that doesn't help much when the taste and quality aren't up to scratch. Overall, a disappointing visit. Unfortunately, a complete failure. I wouldn't recommend it.

Bad tap water for €4 and a very long wait. The food was okay.

The owner changed in 2024. The menu has been expanded, and everything is freshly prepared and delicious. I especially like the fajita. And the pizza is great. Old post: Popular Greek restaurant, jovial owner, in addition to the Greek menu, they also serve good pizza and roast beef. The bar in the back corner is perfect for an after-work beer (as long as you don't disturb the restaurant's business). The small beer garden on the street is surprisingly cozy behind dense hedges.

Had dinner with 5 people this afternoon. We all enjoyed it very much. The food was beautifully prepared and very filling. Had Greek salads and tzatziki as starters. The tzaziki bread was very good 👍. Had 4x gyros with fries and I had dish number 2014. Unfortunately I couldn't remember the name 🫣hence the number 😅 it's a clean and friendly restaurant. Price wise it's ok too. We've already had a meal with the new owner a few times or picked something up and it's recommended. We'll be back and thank you for the good food. I took pictures and can't upload them at the moment.🙈

Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. We pre-ordered by phone, arrived 20 minutes late, and our order wasn't even passed on to the kitchen. We had to wait another 30 minutes for just two gyro plates to go, and the restaurant was mostly empty. The fact that we ordered one of the two gyro plates without onions also went unnoticed. The food was edible, but it didn't blow us away. There was also far too little tzatziki on it. In short: We won't be visiting this restaurant again. It's a shame; before the change of management, the service and quality were much better.

Super tasty, generous portions, very nice service. Finally, the house ouzo. Perfect. We'll be back!

We were very satisfied. Every dish was delicious. Fresh ingredients and the meat was perfect. The landlady was so attentive and friendly. Price-performance excellent. We can highly recommend the Weilheimer Kneiple.😁

The tenant here is a super nice Greek guy. My gyros with fries was delicious and my wife's Ortev was rich and also very tasty! Thank you also for the hospitality and after the meal for the delicious ouzo 🥰. All in all we felt very comfortable.

Very tasty food and large portions. They serve mostly Greek, but also Italian and even Mexican cuisine. There's actually enough choice for vegetarians, too. The service is good and the prices are very reasonable. Dear Aris fans, the pub is obviously still in very good hands!

Had Italian, Mexican and German food there. TOP, especially the Mexican fajitas. Service was also attentive...

Brilliantly delicious Mediterranean food in a cozy location. Large portions, nice service, great! Be sure to make a reservation, the pub is often busy for good reason! Update from September 15th, 2024: again delicious and nice and cozy!

Gyros cold and dry as well as the rice - eggplant and zucchini barely fried and unseasoned - served as a vegetarian meal together with cold potato cubes

We celebrated our wedding in the ballroom and it was great! The service was excellent, used dishes were never left lying around for long. Super nice and courteous staff who constantly provided supplies. The food was very tasty, always warm despite the buffet and there was more than enough of everything. What was left was packed up and ready to go! Communication went smoothly. Set up and dismantling the day before and the day after was completely relaxed. We were allowed to decorate as we wanted and use everything as we wanted. We will definitely be happy to come back.

We celebrated our big birthday with around 70 people in the Weilheimer Kneiple. Everything was great, starting from the organization, the quality of the food (buffet according to our wishes with many different starters, main courses and fruit, sausage and cheese platters), the service (Jorgos with the entire service team were always very attentive) and the matching Premises.

Wir haben mit ca. 70 Personen unseren runden Geburtstag im Weilheimer Kneiple gefeiert. Alles war top, angefangen von der Organisation, der Essensqualität (Buffet nach unseren Wünschen mit vielen verschiedenen Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichten und Obst-, Wurst- und Käseplatte), dem Service (Jorgos mit dem gesamten Serviceteam waren immer sehr aufmerksam) bis hin zu den passenden Räumlichkeiten.

We ordered food today, unfortunately the pita was poorly rolled and everything came to me when I unpacked it. In terms of taste, the pita and the bifteki were really very tasty. The price is a little higher but the portion is a reasonable size. Gladly again!

Service und Essen hervorragend.

So muss ein griechisches Lokal sein.Voll authentisch.Leckere Gerichte,grosse Portionen und faire Preise.Familien geführtes Lokal....was man sofort bemerkt aufgrund der guten und flüssigen Abläufe.Und am wirklich guten und schmackhaften Ouzo fehlt es auch nicht.Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen....solche Gaststätten sterben leider vollends aus....darum unterstützt solche Gastgeber damit wir alle weiterhin lecker speisen können.

Immer gutes Essen und freundliche Bedienung! Sehr zu empfehlen, aber oft auch sehr voll.

Waren heute dort zum Abendessen, es war herrlich ruhig und eine lockere Prise wehte durch das Lokal ! Essen war super schnell fertig. Und auch sehr lecker, gerne wieder!

Sehr leckeres Essen zu angemessenen Preisen. Hab meine große Portion nicht geschafft und konnte den Rest mitnehmen.

Wir haben hier in kurzer Zeit 2 Feier mit Familie und Freunde veranstaltet. Das Gesamtpaket - Essen, Organisation, Bedienung und vor allem die familiäre Atmosphäre (Danke Ari ;)) ist seht gelungen. Wir freuen uns auf den nächsten Besuch.

Ich kenne den Wirt und die Gaststätte noch von früher, ich kann sie nur empfehlen.

Grundsätzlich alles so, wie man es von einem typischen griechischen Restaurant erwartet. Natürlich wird Ouzo angeboten und der Service ist freundlich und zuvorkommend. Für mich gehört allerdings beim Essen auch die Optik dazu. Und da ist sicherlich noch viel Luft nach oben. Also die Gerichte auf dem Teller etwas liebevoller anrichten, wäre mein Wunsch an die Betreiber. Dann gibt es auch fünf Sterne.

Sehr, sehr lecker gegessen ich hatte Zusammen mit zwei anderen den Vorspeisen Teller Ortega und dann den Mangosalat mit Chicken Crispie ich kann sagen zum reinknien lecker. Auch der Service war super nett, total aufmerksam und ziemlich auf Zack. Jederzeit gerne wieder

I had a chance to be on Easter in this lovely restaurant. Lamb with potatoes and salad were delicious! They speak Deutsch, Greek, English, Spanish and French.

Sehr nettes Personal,Preise sind auch gut,große Portionen und schön angerichtet. Aber die Fischplatte kann ich nicht empfehlen.Bei soviel fritiertem auf einmal hat mein Magen am nächsten Tag immer noch rebelliert🤢. Vieleicht lag es auch an der Qualität der Meerestiere? Ich weiß es nicht.

Als Gast bei Aris wird man persönlich und freundlich begrüßt. Der Service ist gut gelaunt und aufmerksam. An diesem Sonntagabend klemmte es ein wenig in der Küche, sodass wir 1 Stunde auf unser Gyros gewartet haben. Die Fleischportionen sind groß, geschmacklich gut, aber etwas zu trocken. Die Gaststube ist gemütlich, aber sehr klein und bei vollen Tischen sehr laut. Tischreservierung ist erforderlich, aber über Mail unkompliziert.

Die Anlaufstelle für gutes Griechisches Essen! Gute Portionen, top Qualität und den wohl entspanntesten Griechen Tübingens, in einem Traditionsreichen Restaurant. Gerne immer wieder!

Wow! Vielen Dank, Ευχαριστώ! Ein toller Abend, mit äußerst leckeren, griechischen Abendessen. Zuverlässige Tischreservierung online möglich. Netter Empfang, aufmerksamer, schneller Service. Das Essen kam ansprechend zeitnah und für alle vier Personen zeitgleich. Portionen ausgiebig und vor allem sehr lecker. Egal ob das Gyros, Moussaka, der griechische Fleischteller, oder Tsatsiki als Vorspeise. Über den weiteren Abend weiterhin eine sehr persönliche, gastfreundliche Betreuung. Danke für ein mal wieder gastronomisch, tolles Erlebnis und man sieht sich definitiv wieder.

Das Ambiente ist super und die Gerichte sind sehr reichlich. Der Geschmack ist wie wenn man in Griechenland ist einfach sehr gut, auch preislich ist es sehr zu empfehlen.
