Wir waren wiederholt in der MEZE Akademie. Freundlicherweise wurde uns das Restaurant geöffnet, damit wir gemütlich drinnen essen konnten. Sehr gute und leckere Speisen, authentischer und freundlicher Besitzer. Wie es sein soll! Hoffentlich bleibt uns dieses Restaurant noch lange erhalten 🙂

Total überteuertes Essen. Griechischer Bauernsalat für 12,50 Euro hatte die Größe eines Beilagensalates und schlecht gewürzt. Musik zu laut. Heizung war aus. Keine Kartenzahlung möglich. Samstagabend im Eimer.

Bisher kann man hauptsächlich nur am Food Truck etwas zum essen holen oder bestellen, das lohnt sich aber auf jeden Fall! Das Essen war super lecker und mit viel Mühe zubereitet. Eigentlich wollten wir im Laden essen, der sehr schön eingerichtet ist, jedoch hat es an dem Tag an Personal gefehlt. Als kleine Entschuldigung haben wir aber total netter Weise beide ein Getränk kostenlos bekommen, da wir das Essen dann mit nach Hause genommen haben. Der Koch im Truck war auch sehr nett!

Wir sind extra hingefahren wegen der guten Bewertungen. Das Restaurant war geschlossen, obwohl es offen haben sollte. Es gab keine Notiz an der Tür.

Meze-Akademie leider sehr versteckt vom Eingang des Edeka-Centers aus rechts neben den Parkplätzen gelegen. Von Außen auch eher unscheinbar, mit einer kleinen Terrasse. Nebenan steht der Imbissstand, wo es Pide to-go gibt. Dort war reichlich Betrieb. Wir waren um 17:30 Uhr an einem Freitag die einzigen Gäste im Lokal und weil es uns zu kalt und zu dunkel war, haben wir uns hinausgesetzt. Der, wir denken, einzige Kellner kam nach 10 Minuten und brachte uns eine Tafel mit den Gerichten darauf. Wir wählten das Hähnchen- und Schweinegyros und zwei Hefeweizen. + Das Essen war sehr schön auf einem großen Teller angerichtet. Sehr leckeres, knuspriges Fleisch mit einem leckeren Brot, frischem Bauernsalat und würzigem Tsatsiki. Da können die bekannten Griechen in der Umgebung, was das Gyros angeht, nicht mithalten. Da die Portion sehr üppig war und das Essen sehr lecker geschmeckt hat, haben wir gerne 17 € p.P. gezahlt. -Der Tisch war sichtlich schmutzig und die Terrasse war verstaubt und in den Ecken hingen Spinnweben. - Innen war es schön eingedeckt, aber leider zu dunkel und nicht einladend. Wir hätten uns einen sauberen, eingedeckten Tisch draußen auch gewünscht. -Wir hätten gerne mehr gegessen und getrunken, aber der Kellner war lange Zeit nicht zusehen und statt Hefeweizen erhielten wir Kristallweizen. Wir werden bei der nächsten Gelegenheit den Imbissstand ausprobieren und jeden Ermutigen die authentischen Küche des Meze-Akademie eine Chance zugeben.

Das Restaurant liegt auf Platz 2 in Tübingen. Weit vor der Traube zum Beispiel, die nun etwas authentisches Essen bietet. Griechisch ist da nicht viel... Zu viel Fleisch. Beilagen mäßig, positiv immerhin keine Pommes. Aber für eine Spitzenbewertung einfach zu wenig Liebe im Arrangement, beim Salat usw.

Sehr gute griechische Küche. Am besten besuchen, bevor der Inhaber sein Geschäft aufgibt! Auch für Vegetarier sind mehr Optionen dabei, als sonst üblich.

Sehr leckere Meze. Am besten mit vielen Freunden kommen, um sich durch das Menü durchfuttern zu können. Am besten haben mir der Fetakäse und die Calamari geschmeckt. Leckere Dipps und Brot (selbst gebacken?) gab es auch.

Der Inhaber hat uns auf unseren Wunsch hin überrascht & alles war sehr sehr lecker und kam zügig an den Tisch auch wie die Speisen auf dem Teller präsentiert waren hat uns gefallen. Gerne wieder!

Tel. Reservierung für Sonntag Nachmittag kein Problem. Als wir jedoch ankamen, geschlossen. Als man merkte, dass Gäste vor der Tür stehen, öffnete man uns. Der reservierte Tisch war in keinster Weise vorbereitet, weder gedeckt, noch sauber. Die Speisekarte war eine Tafel mit Kreide beschrieben, die man gewöhnlich vor den Eingang stellt, um Gäste anzulocken. Das Radler schmeckte nach Hefeweizen, bestellt man ein großes Wasser, bekommt man ein kleines (250ml, groß wird aber abgerechnet), beim bestellten Bifteki für 27,50 Euro wurden das Brot, die Kartoffelchips sowie das Tzatziki vergessen. Auf Nachfrage brachte man alles, außer Tzatziki. Beim Bezahlen kannte die Bedienung die Preise überhaupt nicht und wollte 2x falsch abrechnen. Alles in allem hatte man an dem Nachmittag das Gefühl, nicht willkommen zu sein. Schade. Das Essen sehr gut, Service schlecht.

Das Essen war sehr gut. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis nicht ganz so. Die Inhaber haben viel aus dem alten Weinladen gemacht. Leider war es ziemlich kalt im Gastraum. Alles in allem aber dennoch eine Empfehlung wert.

Sehr schönes Restaurant, sehr nette Eigentümer und leckeres, authentisches Essen! Es wird auf jedes kulinarische Bedürfnis eingegangen und mit einem Lächeln entgegengenommen. Ich kann die negativen Bewertungen hier wirklich überhaupt nicht nachvollziehen und komme immer wieder gerne mit der Familie hin!

Wir waren als Zeugen vor Ort und haben das Geschehen als Gäste beobachtet. Wir sind erstens keine Griechen und Ihre Beschreibung des Verhaltens vom Eigentümer gegenüber Ihnen entspricht auch nicht der Wahrheit! Bitte bleiben Sie fair!

Am Abends des 1. Februars 2023 besuchten wir zu 4. die Meze Akademie und aßen an einem Tisch etwas weiter weg von den Personen der Bewertung. Vorab waren wir keine griechischen Stammkunden, wir haben Deutsch gesprochen. Das Restaurant war um die Uhrzeit fast leer nur noch der Tisch der Personen sowie unser Tisch waren anwesend. Die Personen saßen bereits angezogen am Tisch und es schien als wären sie bereit zu gehen. Nach einer Unterhaltung mit dem Wirt wurde diese von einem Lautstarken ,,Hallo“ unterbrochen. Der Wirt unterbrach sofort unsere Unterhaltung um die Gäste zu bedienen. Daraufhin war deutlich zu hören das die Gäste laut wurden und den Wirt verbal angriffen. Der Wirt blieb gelassen und hielt den Gästen trotz dieser aggressiven Art die Türen auf. Ob Ihnen das Essen geschmeckt hat oder nicht ist Geschmacksache aber bitte stellen Sie keine falschen Anschuldigungen denn ihr Hund wurde auch bedient und geduldet was in Restaurants nicht üblich ist.

… wurden wir verabschiedet. Nachdem wir eine halbe Stunde gehofft haben die recht nette etwas überschwängliche Deutsch/griechisch/englische Bedienung wieder in den Blick zu bekommen um nochmals Getränke zu bestellen haben wir beschlossen diese zu suchen. Ein älterer Mann im Gespräch mit wohl griechischen Stammgästen vertieft, schenkte und dann Aufmerksamkeit. Es war wohl der Chef. Die bei ihm am Tisch bestellte Cola kam dann auch prompt. In der Flasche ohne Glas aber immerhin geöffnet. Als wir dann beim dritten, dann lautstarken Wunsch des bezahlend den etwas lückenhaften Service angesprochen haben - ist jener Mensch echt komplett ausgerastet. Man konnte definitiv Angst bekommen. Es war bedrohlich. Wir perplex. Nach weiteren 10 Minuten kam dann die Rechnung. Die Gemüter schienen sich etwas beruhigt zu haben als wir dann mit den oben genannten Worten verabschiedet wurden. Zugegeben konnte es sich eine Person unserer Gruppe nicht verkneifen sich mit „auf nimmer Wiedersehen“ zu verabschieden. Worauf dann der unheilssegen erneut auf uns eingebrochen ist. Und jetzt kommt das absurde! Von … … den EISkalten Tellern auf denen das Essen gereicht wurde daher schon bei der zweiten Gabel kalt war. … den etwas krass tiefschwarz abgebratenen Bifteki (ohne Käsefüllung ?) … der Verwunderung der Zubereitung der Speisen im vor dem Haus befindlichen Food-Truck … der zum Essen vollkommen ungeeigneten Bänke und Stühle … der in keiner Relation stehenden Preise zum Essen … dem 0,5 Bier was sich zum selben Preis als 0,3 heraus stellte … der Verwunderung das weder Küche noch Theke vorhanden ist … das Restaurant eher einem Ladengeschäft mit Tisch und Stühlen glich … haben wir gar nichts erwähnt. Weil wir keinen Sinn darin gesehen hätten jemanden auf offensichtliches hinzuweisen. Auch diese Bewertung hätte ich mir gespart. Wenn da noch diese komplett unprofessionelle, beleidigende, bedrohliche Art und Weise des Inhabers gewesen wäre. Kein Sorry an dieser Stelle.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und sehr schön angerichtet. Trotz dem dass die Frau alleine war wurden wir wunderbar bedient. Noch nie so freundliches Personal gehabt.😊 Sehr empfehlenswert 👍🏻

Tolle Bedienung, hervorragendes Essen

Wir waren zur Weihnachtsfeier dort und wurden nett empfangen. Der Kellner fragte, ob wir aus der Karte wählen wollen oder er uns etwas aus seinen Lieblingsspeisen zusammenstellen darf. Wir entschieden uns für das zweite und bekamen einen Teller nach dem anderen mit leckeren Speisen dazugestellt. Meist noch mit einer kleinen Geschichte oder Erklärung zum Gericht. Es war lecker und durch den Kellner etwas besonderes

Der Service war schleppend. Man hat sich lieber um (griechische?) Stammgäste gekümmert. Bier lauwarm und schal. Essen überdurchschnittlich aber für meinen Geschmack überteuert. Die Jovialität der Gastgeber ist nicht jedermanns Sache. Auf der Toilette war es so kalt, dass ich froh war, stehen zu dürfen.

Da (leider) wenig los war, wurden wir vom Besitzer persönlich bewirtet. Die Preise sind eher hoch, aber gerechtfertigt bei Ausgezeichnetem Essen. Super Atmosphäre. Immer wieder gerne.

The best Greek restaurant I have been! Even though I live in Greece...The stuff was very friendly, the dishes were perfect and everything was top quality, the prices were fair and the styling of the restaurant was really nice and cozy! I 100% recommend the octopus dish which is the most tender and juicy octopus I have ever eaten, with a glass of tsipouro or Greek wine 🍷

Μετά από πολύ καιρό απουσίας επισκεφτηκαμε το καινουργιο location του meze. Όπως ήταν αναμενόμενο όλα ήταν εκπληκτικα. Σας ευχαριστώ για όλα. Λατρεύω το καινούργιο concept, τα γλυκά, ήταν εκπληκτικα!!

Ein typisches griechisches Restaurant? Bei weitem nicht... Das Essen ist top, die Getränke natürlich auch. Ambiente super chic und im urbanen Stil gehalten. Bedingungen super nett und jederzeit bereit, jeden Wunsch des Gastes zu erfüllen.

A lovely place to visit. Excellent service and ambience. The best vegan restaurant I have ever visited, unrivaled and irreplaceable. Everything was prepared and served with care, using what was surely only the most fresh and pure ingredients. A must try for every vegan or non-vegan, as the stuff was lovely and ready to accommodate and explain each dish and it's origin. A true example of the potential of Greek cuisine and culture to live up to vegan ethics and the culinary expectations of the most demanding and "well-versed" foodie there is! An experience that can't be missed!

Sehr schöne Ambiente und super leckeres Essen 🥰😍

Nachdem die Meze Akademie umgezogen ist, findet man sich in einem tollen Ambiente wieder. Dieses wirkt sehr familiär. Das Essen, wie erwartet absolut vorzüglich. Wir haben uns durch die kulinarische griechische Küche gegessen, mit einer Auswahl an allem. Das schöne daran war, daß man nicht wusste was als nächstes serviert wurde. Die Bedienung wie eh und je sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Keinesfalls aufdringlich. Immer wieder gern.

Ein durch und durch fantastisches Restaurant! Das Essen ist unglaublich lecker, die Atmosphäre entspannt und der Service super freundlich. Vielen Dank für den kulinarischen Genuss und den schönen Abend! Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr gutes und toll gewürztes Essen. Üppige, vielseitige "Tapas". Herrlich griechisches Flair. Ich hatte noch nie so saftigen und zarten Oktopus. Macht von außen nichts her, ist innen aber sehr charmant und stilvoll eingerichtet. Freundlicher, persönlicher Service. Kartenzahlung möglich.

Es ist und bleibt nach wie vor ein Mysterium dieses Meze. Mittlerweile gibt es das Restaurant wohl gar nicht mehr sondern nur noch einen Imbiswagen aus dem heraus gekocht bzw. verkauft wird? Hatte 3-4 mal was dort und war eigentlich zufrieden. Inzwischen gibt es auch Griechisches. Allerdings haben sie angeblich bis 21:30 auf und neulich hab ich schon um 20:50 nichts mehr bekommen was mich sehr geärgert hat. Also geh ich wieder nicht mehr hin.

Aufgrund von Personalmangel gab es nur eine reduzierte Karte und wir musste sehr lange auf unsere Getränke und das Essen warten. Der Inhaber war sehr nett und zeigte sich kritikfähig. Das Essen war lecker.

Hähnchen Gyros war nicht durchgebraten, Kartoffeln zu trocken, pita nur kurz erwärmt... Qualität im Vergleich zu anderen foodtrucks die ebenfalls auf der Morgenstelle anwesend sind, leider eher schlecht.

What a horrible place and utterly unprofessional service. Got greeted by what I assume was the owner of this dumpster fire of a restaurant with a “Yea? You can take the table there in the back.” Then we spent the next 40 minutes waiting for someone the come and take our order. When the same guy finally came to take our order and we mentioned as a side comment that we’ve been waiting for 40 minutes, he just mocked us with “oooh, that is veeery long time” and proceeded to aggressively in our face whine about how it is not his fault. During all that he didn’t even wear a face mask (Covid time) which he also didn’t do when he served food to other tables. This was the last straw for us and we said that we would just like to pay for the drinks and go (without ordering any food). Well, the passive-aggressive greek “macho” didn’t take kindly to it and threw a hissy fit where he quickly collected the menu, poutingly said “ye, bye” and stormed off. We were not the exception that evening. Right next to us was a table where a couple came 10 minutes after us and still didn’t even get a menu given to them. Behind us was another group of 2 that were there before us and still hadn’t got their order taken. Stay away from this place if you value your time and want to be treated like a human being.

The people there are open and friendly; they tell you if your food takes longer to be prepared, but this is generally not a problem, because it gets to you amazingly fast. The food looks great and tastes great. I will definitely come back here...

It is the Best place to be in Tubigen if you want to eat delicious and original greek dishes. I was there recently with my friends and family. Excellent services and the food was extremely delightful.
