Fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. Do reserve your table though.

The food came super quickly, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was great :) Suggestions for improvement: The portions were really, really small. We were expecting 200-400g of tofu, but it was only about 4-5 pieces, phew. The same goes for the vegetables. But everything was fresh and delicious, so for people who don't eat much, it's all good :) The sauces were very good, much better than elsewhere. They were a bit sweet for us, but probably just right for people with a normal sugar intake :)

We visited here for the first time today and were absolutely thrilled. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we felt very welcome. The ambiance is designed with great attention to detail, creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive – our requests were met immediately, without us having to ask. The food was not only delicious, but also beautifully presented and of high quality. You can tell the passion that goes into the cooking here. It was a thoroughly enjoyable visit for us, and we'd definitely be happy to return.

It couldn't be better. The three of us went out to eat and were completely satisfied. In our experience, that's actually quite rare.

Very good food, even for vegetarians/vegans, but terrible service. After 30 minutes, the fun is over, and you're constantly being asked what you'd like to order. There are no hand towels in the restroom either. What a shame!

The outdoor area is lovely, and the tables are spaced apart so you have some privacy. And the best part is, dogs are allowed! All in all, a really great restaurant! We'd happily return anytime.

The food was delicious, the staff very friendly, the prices were very fair, and despite my celiac disease (gluten), everything worked out perfectly. We're not from Tübingen, but we'll go back the next time we feel like Vietnamese food. 😊

This was my first time dining here, and I'm thrilled. There were three of us, and we had made a reservation. The staff was attentive, friendly, and very quick! The starters were the Vietnamese spring rolls. They were outstanding! Juicy and crispy, with delicate fillings. The main course was a mixed sushi platter. Everything was plentiful and of excellent quality. It was striking that there was also a good supply of sashimi. Overall, we were all very satisfied and happy. After our stay, we would gladly return and can definitely recommend this restaurant.

The waiters speak very bad German. I ordered takeaway and a drink. It turned out that you can't order the drink to go, but the waiter didn't inform me about this and just brought me a glass with the drink.

We cannot give a review. Ordered a table for 12:30 today on April 9th ​​3 days ago. When we arrived the restaurant was closed, the staff was sitting local and did not respond. No indication why the restaurant was closed. We think that's a disgrace, we expected at least some information.

Absolute impudence. I reserved a table for today last week. We drove specially from Esslingen to Tübingen. We were in front of the restaurant on time - it was closed!!! The staff sat at a table! No sign - no one got up to clarify the matter! Without words !!!! We then went to the Italian restaurant on the other side of the street - very good - super friendly - good service.

The food is amazing. The prices are low. The staff is nice. The only thing is that the place is packed a lot of the time and even with a reservation there might be a little wait.

The food was great! However, after 1.5 hours (when we were just about to order dessert) we were escorted out by asking if we were paying now, as they needed the table for a larger group. Mind you, we had reserved (and still had to wait for a wrile beforehand). Of course that wasn't nice.

We eat here often. Everything is freshly prepared, and there are vegan options. The food prices are relatively low. Drinks are more expensive, however. Reservations are only possible by phone, although the website suggests that you can reserve by email. The tables are very close together.

It is extremely cramped on Fridays. The restaurant was overbooked. At any given time, more than ten people were waiting to be seated, and we were quite uncomfortable since our table was right next to the line. They only take reservations for 1.5 hours, yet they seated us late, leaving us rushed to finish our meal. It feels like the people running the restaurant assume guests come just to get full, rather than to enjoy a well-hosted dining experience. Unfortunately, hospitality seems like an afterthought. The food was okay, but it’s sad that the place has lost its charm.

Got the spring rolls, they were amazing, as were the shiitake mushroom udon noodles, as was the Hugo cocktail. Would recommend.

This was our first time here (based on the other good Google reviews and the delicious pictures), but we'll definitely be back soon! The sushi was also visually a poem (see picture, it was "Kani Set" and "Salmon Tempura" on one plate) and the Vietnamese dish was also very tasty. But you actually have to reserve in advance, otherwise you might not get a seat. Update: We have been there several times now and always enjoy coming back!!!

It's difficult for me to rate this. It used to be great, but now it's pretty mass-produced with typical American time slots of two hours per table. The food is still very good and especially the prices are amazing for what you get, but this check-out mentality annoys me. Apart from that, there are more and more tables and chairs, so you often end up at a cat table. Especially with two or three people, you're just squeezed in somewhere and the service staff are constantly stumbling over people who are unintentionally sitting in the way as they walk past.

Since this restaurant has been around, the quality has been consistently good. It's so delicious here, we've been regular customers here for ages and definitely come here every 3-4 weeks because it's just too delicious! Both the hot items and the sushi never disappoint and I rave about An An everywhere. If you like a quieter, more intimate atmosphere, you should go to An An 1 instead of An An 2, as it can be very loud there. But the food everywhere is simply wonderful. Please keep it up 🥰 (my personal recommendation is the warm Vietnamese spring rolls main course. SO delicious)

The food is delicious! We also had catering from AnAn at our wedding, which worked very well and was something very special. Everything was very fresh, and the wedding buffet was beautifully decorated. If you make a reservation at the small restaurant on Aixerstraße, you get a time slot of 1.5 hours (I don't know if it's the same at the large one by the outdoor pool). I find this time slot too short. It's not enough for an appetizer, main course, and dessert, plus a little cozy get-together. We had a reservation last week at 6:30. When we arrived, there were no tables available. We left at 6:55 p.m. - a table would have opened up, but since our time slot only ran until 8 p.m., we decided against staying. This is the second time this has happened, and we find it very unpleasant when you're eating while the staff is constantly watching and waiting for another table to finally become available. So, feedback to AnAn: please, please change the time slot. This means stress for you, and for the guests too! In any case, we won't be coming to Aixerstrasse again. Maybe we'll try the outdoor pool again.

The food is absolutely delicious!. However it was annoying that we have to rush cause many people were waiting in line (which I don't understand why they accept from the beginning many reservations). I mean if you reserve a table,you can have it for at least two hours. It is not a fast food restaurant

The food was incredibly delicious, especially for the price. I would definitely come back. It was just a shame that, despite having a reservation, there was nothing available and we had to wait outside. We were left standing in the entrance area and ignored without any information about whether or how long it would take. The ambiance could be nice if the dining room weren't so cramped and crowded. The service was fast, friendly, and attentive, and the homemade lemonades are highly recommended.

Great ambience, good food and a super nice team! We once had to wait longer despite having a reservation. The restaurant manager became an entertainer and served a magnum bottle of champagne for those waiting. And shot the cork at the ceiling! It was a super nice activity!!

I find the AnAn overrated. The food is good and the service is quick as with all Asian restaurants, but it's so crowded and noisy that it's really not comfortable to sit in. You also get a time slot, so you're really under time pressure because the next guests are already waiting for the table.

We've been here before and thought it was very good back then. This time I was unfortunately disappointed. I received a very small portion, so I wasn't full even despite dessert, which never happens to me in a restaurant. We then had to leave after two hours, which was a somewhat uncomfortable end to the restaurant visit. We then went to the Italian restaurant opposite, where I was lucky was also able to satisfy my remaining hunger.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants!! The staff is always super friendly and always serve you with a smile. The food was always perfect every time we were there, without exception! The sushi is really very good and at a really good price. I haven't managed to try every dish yet, but I promise no matter which dish you choose, you won't be disappointed.

The food was tasty, but didn't convince us 100%. That certain something was missing. Each of us had a starter and a main course. Unfortunately, we were both still hungry afterwards as the portions are small. Service was friendly and quick. Unfortunately the atmosphere was a bit hectic. Wanted to leave quickly.

We had Pho and summer rolls and really liked it, would recommend it. We will definitely visit again.

An eating experience worth having. We had reserved a table this time, having been turned away when we turned up on spec before - and we saw others turned away while we were there. The service is friendly, helpful and fast. The food is tasty, and the portions generous. And amid all the bustle, and the tables of chatty, happy eaters, the atmosphere is great.

The most delicious Vietnamese food

Very good Vietnamese cuisine. Was there for the first time 2 weeks ago and one thing is for sure we will be back. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

Service could be improved - otherwise great! In our case, all wheat beer was always poured below the calibration mark, and clearly below it. When we pointed this out, the waiter didn't really understand us and just smiled nicely. The service time wasn't exactly quick either. We had to wait quite a long time until we could order and also until we could pay. Reordering drinks was also quite difficult (because there was never a waiter in sight or to be caught). The food was super tasty and the prices were absolutely fair.

Food was really good I was just a little surprised at the portion size. So if you're hungry, it's better to order two dishes.

A first class Vietnamese. We visited the restaurant on a weekday for lunch. The small and tastefully decorated restaurant was very well attended. The lunch menu offered a fine selection of dishes. We chose the Peanut Tofu and the Pepper Beef, both priced at over €10. The portions were sufficient and of excellent quality. We'd love to come back.

The food and drinks were very tasty, the service was friendly! Unfortunately, we sat at the small table between the pillar and the passage, so staff and guests had to squeeze past us. The food was served very quickly, so that within 2 hours the customers in the restaurant changed about 1-2 times and there was a certain amount of unrest because people were constantly standing right at our table/had to pass by.

The coconut soup was great, almost perfect. However, the main course was a bit boring and I wouldn't order the dish again. It was officially the spiciest thing on the menu, but it was rather chewy and not very tasty. You also wonder a little why water is more expensive than beer, but that is not the deciding factor for the rating here. The edamame beans were okay, but not great.
