I find the AnAn overrated. The food is good and the service is quick as with all Asian restaurants, but it's so crowded and noisy that it's really not comfortable to sit in. You also get a time slot, so you're really under time pressure because the next guests are already waiting for the table.

We've been here before and thought it was very good back then. This time I was unfortunately disappointed. I received a very small portion, so I wasn't full even despite dessert, which never happens to me in a restaurant. We then had to leave after two hours, which was a somewhat uncomfortable end to the restaurant visit. We then went to the Italian restaurant opposite, where I was lucky was also able to satisfy my remaining hunger.

Nice restaurant & friendly staff, but not all dishes had Vietnamese seasoning — udon noodle with cream sauce tasted more like spaetzle with sauce 🤣

One of my absolute favorite restaurants!! The staff is always super friendly and always serve you with a smile. The food was always perfect every time we were there, without exception! The sushi is really very good and at a really good price. I haven't managed to try every dish yet, but I promise no matter which dish you choose, you won't be disappointed.

The food was tasty, but didn't convince us 100%. That certain something was missing. Each of us had a starter and a main course. Unfortunately, we were both still hungry afterwards as the portions are small. Service was friendly and quick. Unfortunately the atmosphere was a bit hectic. Wanted to leave quickly.

We had Pho and summer rolls and really liked it, would recommend it. We will definitely visit again.

An eating experience worth having. We had reserved a table this time, having been turned away when we turned up on spec before - and we saw others turned away while we were there. The service is friendly, helpful and fast. The food is tasty, and the portions generous. And amid all the bustle, and the tables of chatty, happy eaters, the atmosphere is great.

Very good Vietnamese cuisine. Was there for the first time 2 weeks ago and one thing is for sure we will be back. The staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

Service could be improved - otherwise great! In our case, all wheat beer was always poured below the calibration mark, and clearly below it. When we pointed this out, the waiter didn't really understand us and just smiled nicely. The service time wasn't exactly quick either. We had to wait quite a long time until we could order and also until we could pay. Reordering drinks was also quite difficult (because there was never a waiter in sight or to be caught). The food was super tasty and the prices were absolutely fair.

Food was really good I was just a little surprised at the portion size. So if you're hungry, it's better to order two dishes.

Loved this place! The food was amazing, the atmosphere great and the service was perfect. I understand why this placed is fully booked most of the time, but I fo have to say that it was worth waiting a bit for a table. The presentation of the food, along with the quality is just 👌. For a party of 4, we had a few starters to share, drinks, my main dish was sushi, and it was really filling, paired with a delicious sauce. A first class Vietnamese. We visited the restaurant on a weekday for lunch. The small and tastefully decorated restaurant was very well attended. The lunch menu offered a fine selection of dishes. We chose the Peanut Tofu and the Pepper Beef, both priced at over €10. The portions were sufficient and of excellent quality. We'd love to come back.

The food and drinks were very tasty, the service was friendly! Unfortunately, we sat at the small table between the pillar and the passage, so staff and guests had to squeeze past us. The coconut soup was great, almost perfect. However, the main course was a bit boring and I wouldn't order the dish again. It was officially the spiciest thing on the menu, but it was rather chewy and not very tasty. You also wonder a little why water is more expensive than beer, but that is not the deciding factor for the rating here. The edamame beans were okay, but not great.

We had lunch on a Sunday afternoon with 7 people including a reservation. The very different dishes, including starters and desserts, were consistently good and beautifully presented. The lemonade was also delicious - I would have liked to have asked if it could have been another drink. But the staff was very friendly.

It's really nice there, and the food, as far as I can tell, is totally fine too! The tables are very close together and you don't have quite as much space as you would like, but nothing dramatic. All in all worth a visit :)

It was our first time there and we'll be happy to come back...great atmosphere...the restaurant isn't huge but it's very cozy. For a dignified evening it is not recommended as it is very lively there. The food was excellent... fresh, crunchy vegetables... beautifully presented.

This was our first time here (based on the other good Google reviews and the delicious pictures), but we'll definitely be back soon! The sushi was also visually a poem (see picture, it was "Kani Set" and "Salmon Tempura" on one plate) and the Vietnamese dish was also very tasty. But you actually have to reserve in advance, otherwise you might not get a seat.

We arrived on time on a Friday with a reservation, but had to wait 40 minutes for our table. Here we stood together with people who didn't have a reservation and were seated one after the other. However, the service gave us drinks and dessert, which was very accommodating. The food was otherwise very good, it tasted great, service was okay. Ambiance also looks great. It's a bit loud and small, but definitely recommendable in terms of taste.

As soon as you walk in, An An's ambience makes you feel like you're in Vietnam. A feel-good atmosphere thanks to very nice furnishings and a typical Vietnamese style. When you eat, you immediately notice the quality of the food. It doesn't get any fresher. An An also knows how to impress when it comes to taste. Why does a vietnamese restaurant serve sushi??? Its like offering fois gras and sausages with sauerkraut in a pan European restaurant in Kyoto. If you like bad sushi and mediocre vietnamese food you go there. Not recommended.

I ordered by phone, waiting time 1 and a half hours. I arrived to pick up, order was forgotten. I waited 1 hour and 20 minutes, no apology and the service was unfriendly and told me not to stand at the entrance. Food was no better than the ready-made sushi at Rewe. I will not recommend this store to anyone I know. Zero stars for this store!

Absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant 😋

We didn't eat in the restaurant, but picked up. The store was very busy at the time of the strike and yet what was ordered was ready for pickup after the specified 30 minutes. At this point I can only talk about the sushi offered, as that's all we had. My wife and I enjoy eating sushi and have been to quite a few shops. The food offered here was beautifully presented in the pick-up boxes and had enough soy sauce, wasabi and ginger. Salmon and tuna tasted fresh and were prepared in beautiful pieces. The remaining sushi with surimi and the maki were bland and in our opinion the entire quantity didn't quite correspond to the price. The prices on the menu were a bit high overall. However, one should not ignore the currently very high costs. Conclusion: €70 lighter and unfortunately still not possible with two people.

I've been to An An a few times now and find the dishes to be really good in terms of taste, portion size-appropriate and always beautifully decorated. The eye can eat here. What I don't like and what the restaurant definitely needs to work on is the hygiene standards of the service staff. When you work with food, you don't cough into your hand but into your elbow. And if a glass tips over on the table, you don't first wipe the floor and then the table with the same cloth. That doesn't actually work. I noticed both situations with young staff and I really hope that they will be shown how to do it properly.

Insgesamt ein sehr guter Platz um zu essen. Der Service war immer präsent aber nicht aufdringlich. Das Essen war gut. Für meinen Geschmack hätte es etwas mehr Reis sein dürfen aber dann wäre die Portion so groß gewesen das sich die meisten Menschen eher mit einem Völlegefühl an den Nachtisch wagen müssten. Also Hauptspeisen Portionen sind angemessen für Standard 3 Gänge. Was auch gut ist, es gibt Abteile. Man hat ein wenig Privatsphäre. Das ist mir sehr wichtig. Ganz wichtig ist im übrigen auch die Sauberkeit! Hier hatte ich tatsächlich mal nix zu meckern! Falls es für jemanden wichtig ist, die Stühle sind unglaublich bequem!

Das essen war super auch der Service war nett, allerdings hat es eine weile gedauert bis wir bedient wurden. Es war aber auch zur Weihnachtszeit. Vegane und Gluten freie alternativen gibt es einige.

Hey Leute, das Essen ist Mega. Wir hatten 2 Rollen Sushi um zu probieren und ein Hauptessen …. Alles hat so frisch geschmeckt. Tatsächlich schmeckte das Gemüse wie frisch vom Markt geholt. Essen 10* ! Service sehr schnell und sehr nett. Das französische Viertel ist immer einen Spaziergang wert was die Location angeht. Ich würde das kleine und sehr feine Restaurant als Insider Tipp für Tübingen benennen.

Vor 4 Monaten waren wir zum ersten Mal hier und waren sehr begeistert. Aus diesem Grund sind wir gestern wieder hier gewesen, doch leider waren wir dieses Mal nicht sehr zufrieden. Die bestellte Nudelsuppe schmeckte nur nach Koriander, ebenso die Ente mit Glasnudeln zur Hauptspeise. Das Sushi war gut. Jedoch fühlten wir uns wie auf dem Fließband. Bereits bei der Reservierung wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass der Tisch nur eine Stunde zu Verfügung steht. Innerhalb von 30 Minuten betraten wir das Restaurant, aßen und verließen es wieder. Zudem bekamen wir ein Tisch im Laufweg aller. Direkt neben meinem Platz war eine Säule, was bedeutete, dass das Servicepersonal sich zwischen mir und der Säule vorbeischlängeln musste, um zum Gastraum und den anderen Gästen zu gelangen. Sonderlich wohl und willkommen haben wir uns demnach nicht gefühlt.

Begeisterung auf ganzer Linie. Ein vollkommenes Abendessen im schönen Ambiente mit super Service. Super Parkplatz Situation die für Tübingen nicht selbstverständlich ist. Danke 🙏🏼 🤩 wir kommen wieder.

Von den letzten Rezensionen irritiert, bin ich mit gemischten Erwartungen ins An An gegangen. Ok, die Stühle stehen eng, es ist voll und laut, aber der für uns reservierte Tisch war bereit, der Service war sehr nett und humorvoll, das Essen war gut und die Portionen angemessen. Wir hatten nicht das Gefühl gedrängelt zu werden (wie hier mehrfach geschrieben) und wir haben zu Viert 110 Euro bezahlt (je Vorspeise, Hauptgang und ein bis zwei nichtalkoholische Getränke), da gibt es wirklich nichts zu meckern. Würden wiederkommen.

Alle Hauptspeisen sind sehr lecker. Das Saigon Bier schmeckt auch super. Das crunchy Sushi passt sehr gut als Vorspeise.
