Best pizza I've ever had! Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. I'd love to come back.

I've been a regular at Salvatore's for years, and I've never eaten better pizza, not even in Italy! For me, the dough is number one. I'm careful about eating healthy and hardly ever eat gluten, but even the gluten-free pizza tastes amazing at Lustnauer Mühle! But here, you HAVE to make an exception sometimes! The lasagnas are divine, and the menu is extensive. Plus, the ambiance is like being in bella Italia. And when Salvatore, with his warm and friendly manner, has a quick chat while I order dozens of pizzas to go for the family members who weren't with me 🤭, the visit is more than perfect. Salvatore, no matter who found fault with your food in the comments: we are loyal fans of yours and your incomparable cuisine! A visit is definitely worth it!

We ate there on a recommendation, but I have to say we were disappointed. If you order a starter, then that's what you get. Soup and pizza arrived together even though we were told the soup was meant to be a starter.

We were there at the end of last week and shortly after eating we had stomach pains and digestive problems that lasted for the next two days.

I have rarely enjoyed such good Italian food in Germany. My companion and I had the appetizer platter and the lasagna from the daily specials. The owner himself recommended them with great enthusiasm, and they were simply incredible! The lasagna was topped with a creamy burrata. Fantastic. Even though the restaurant was full, the acoustics remained pleasant throughout. The waiters were attentive, and card payments were accepted. I would definitely come back! The pizzas also looked very tempting =D

Very delicious. The pizzas are very large but lightly topped. The pizza bread is addictive! 😄 The flour probably comes from Italy. The seafood is very tasty... and the service is relaxed. The staff is very friendly, warm, and attentive.

The food is like at a good Italian restaurant, but the value for money isn't there. On the owner's recommendation, we ordered the truffle pasta. It wasn't listed on the menu. When we ordered, we were told that the pasta with white truffles was "a little" more expensive than the one with black truffles. When the bill arrived, it turned out that the white truffle pasta cost €88.50, while the black truffle pasta cost €33.50 per portion. In my opinion, that's not just "a little" more expensive.

An excellent Italian restaurant in Tübingen – in my opinion, one of the best in the city. The service is always warm and attentive. The consistently high quality of the food is impressive, both at dinner and lunch. A particularly positive aspect is the chef's changing selection of fresh specials, which go beyond the standard menu. The pizzas are a particular highlight and highly recommended.

We were looking for a restaurant near our hotel and stumbled upon this pizzeria. We managed to get a table for three without a reservation. However, the table was a bit small for three people, as we'd been spoiled by our regular Italian restaurant in Salzkotten. We had pasta, pizza, and lasagna, and all three dishes were delicious. The service was friendly and attentive, leaving nothing to be desired. Next time, however, we would prefer to eat in the adjoining room, as the noise level is a bit lower.

Best pizzeria, no, best Italian!! We had organic beef lasagna and Caprese salad and a very good wine. All top quality. The atmosphere is intimate, Italian, and very inviting. Perfect hospitality! Despite a full house, the service was super fast, attentive, and friendly. We were there with 10 people, and everything went smoothly. Pizzeria Lustenauer Mühle is our favorite for family dinners, groups, and romantic evenings. Top, top, top! My best lasagna!

In my opinion, the Lustnauer Mühle is one of the most beautiful and best restaurants in Tübingen. The ambiance is very cozy and rustic, which perfectly suits the historic building. In summer, you can also sit outside in the courtyard. The menu offers a great selection of Italian classics and seasonal dishes, all freshly prepared. The homemade pasta dishes and pizza are particularly recommended. Salvatore undoubtedly understands what constitutes good Italian cuisine and how to make guests feel at home, both culinary and human. I have rarely experienced such a passionate and dedicated host who puts so much heart and soul into his work. The prices are absolutely fair for the quality of the food and the service. Overall, the Lustnauer Mühle is an absolute must for anyone looking for good food in Tübingen. I enjoy coming back here time and time again and can highly recommend it.

I ordered a pizza for pickup. The special thing was that they ordered the pizza gluten-free because I have an intolerance. The pizza with vegetables regularly costs €17.50. There's a surcharge for the gluten-free version of €5. I personally found it quite expensive. But I wanted to try it. The pizza didn't look homemade. Plus, it was dripping with oil. So for €23.50, you'd expect a lot more. I wasn't impressed at all, not even in terms of taste. I can't recommend it.

We ate here with friends and ordered several pizzas, including a Margherita with onions and garlic. Unfortunately, the pizza arrived without the ordered toppings, which were then added raw afterward. The taste of the pizza was disappointing – not only mine, but also my friends' two pizzas lacked any seasoning. For the price, we would have expected significantly more; the value for money is absolutely not there. When paying, we politely expressed our criticism, but the waiter simply dismissed it with the comment that he had never heard of such a thing. This seems unprofessional, especially since it had apparently been mentioned several times in other reviews. Overall, unfortunately, one of the worst pizzas we've ever eaten.

The pizza may be excellent, and the pizza bread is indeed very tasty. But the saltimbocca was swimming in a sauce that completely lacked the typical sage and white wine flavor. We can do it a million times better at home. And the vegetables were practically cold. The lasagna, advertised as a specialty, had no layers at all, but was a single, cheese-covered mess. Add to that the arrogant chef. Never again! The value for money is unacceptable.

Fantastic, best restaurant in TUBINGEN.

Got a table without a reservation. Service was friendly and fast. The lasagna was recommended to us as the daily special. There was no price listed on the menu, so I ordered without asking. It tasted quite good, but at €22.50!! it was simply too expensive. Even in my second home of Sardinia, I've never paid that much for lasagna! A bottle of still water was €7. Perhaps people in Tübingen are used to this high price range; I was speechless a few times while reading the menu.

Back in my old hometown and ended up here. A very friendly welcome with the recommendation of the day, and the menu was already very promising, making it difficult to choose. In the end, we opted for the super delicious pizza (recommendation): a crispy, perfect base with pickled Sicilian tomatoes, burrato with balsamic vinegar and truffles. An absolute dream, especially on a hot summer day. No long waits - everything was perfect. We'd be happy to come back and can recommend it without reservation.

During my visit to the Lustnauer Mühle, I had an overall positive culinary experience, although with a few small flaws. The pizza „Siciliana“ was truly excellent – ​​well cooked, with a fragrant dough and quality ingredients. A real pleasure for the palate, worthy of the Italian tradition. The savoury, on the other hand, while fresh and well presented, would have benefited from a drizzle more oil to better enhance the flavours. A small detail that would make the difference. The Bono, unfortunately, was a disappointment: it had clearly been sperrig for too long and had completely lost its Bouquet. A wine without aroma is like a melody without notes. Overall, a place with potential, especially for the pizza, but with room for improvement in the details that make the difference.

The pizza was great 👍 The penne was the wrong kind and still overpriced. The most expensive grappa on the menu cost 6 euros, but I had to pay over 11 euros per grappa because it was "the good one" 😳 In short, I won't be going there again... Sincerely,

Schlechtes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Die Lasagne für 23,50 war zum einem verbrannt und zum anderen bestand sie nur aus Teig mit einer minimalen u d dünnen Sossenfüllung- das angebliche Rindfleisch darin musste man mit der Lupe suchen - ein NO Go ! Das einzig Gute war der Beilagensslat- daher zwei Sterne.

Can't understand the good reviews, they can't be serious. Regardless of the fact that the food was inedible, the price performance was even worse. For pasta 32€. Starter with a slice of ham and burrata €17. A Lillet (hardly Lillet) €9.50. For a bottle of water €9.50. Waited 30 minutes for dessert, but the service was nice!

The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, with a modern but at the same time cozy design. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating - you immediately feel at home. The menu offers a wide selection of dishes, from traditional to innovative creations. I tried the fillet steak, which was cooked perfectly – tender and full of flavor. The side dishes were also excellent, especially the fresh vegetable side dishes. The wine that the waiter recommended went well with the meal and rounded off the experience. The dessert, a chocolate fondant, was to die for.
