While I was very happy with the food and service on my first visit, the second time I visited I found a wall magnet baked on my Funghi pizza. Unfortunately, after informing the head waiter, there was neither an apology nor any small compensation. Instead, he reacted inconfidently and was rather unfriendly for the rest of the evening. In addition, the bottom of the pizza was baked too dark for my taste.

Today we had reserved a table for a family lunch and had a great time at the venue. My spouse and I really enjoy our time here since this is one of the very few restaurants in the area that are truely Celiac-friendly. The atmosphere of the historic building is truely great, with a tastefully decorated interior and the exposed oven. The staff is very proficient, friendly and efficient. Especially the good communication between waitors and kitchen impressed me immensely. When we occasionally order food for take-away the order is practically always done in the 20 minutes it takes me to get to the restaurant. In summer there is a small number of tables outside that invite for a refreshing break in the shade of the old tree. In summary, a truely great restaurant, especially thanks to the staff.

In short: Very, very good. Authentic and personal. Excellent food and drink. Nice boss. Overall a bit expensive and salt was used noticeably generously in almost all dishes.

Πήγα με την οικογένειά μου, θέλοντας να φάμε ιταλική μακαρονάδα. Καμία σχέση με Ιταλική κουζίνα. Τα ζυμαρικά πολύ βρασμένα και η σάλτσα από κονσέρβα. Απογοητεύτηκα από το φαγητό, πολύ καλό σπιτικό κρασί.

The pizza is great: crispy crust, fresh cherry tomatoes and tender ham ensure a great taste. The burrata in the middle promises a creamy note, while the basil rounds everything off wonderfully. Overall, a very successful combination of fresh ingredients.

Price upon collection sometimes like that, sometimes like that. Long waiting time for pickup. Got cold pizza. No card payment possible. A bit unfriendly when paying. But good atmosphere.

I love the Lustnauer Mühle. All the dishes here are excellent! The pizza with spicy salami and burrata is particularly recommended. This really puts a grin on my face.

Everything takes forever and orders are forgotten even though you're sitting in the restaurant and ordering food from the waiter right at the table. That doesn't work at all. Definitely 1 star from me.

Simply delicious. As a family of 6, we ordered a pasta plate with a variety of types, fillings and sauces. It was really excellent and the possibility of eating it together is great and allows for a variety of enjoyment. We also ordered the dessert platter, everything tasted really great. Gladly again !

Wonderful experience in Salvatore's restaurant where I have been several times. The restaurant is in a good location, the environment is extremely well-kept, clean and with soft lighting that makes the atmosphere warm and welcoming. I ate the pizza, which luckily was also available in a gluten-free version, which doesn't often happen in restaurants. Overall: great food, good wine, very friendly waiters and a great evening. I really recommend going, and a real Italian says so!!

There are few parking spaces, the pasta would certainly be better without pasta water, but there are supposed to be people who want the pasta just the same. The 4 cheese pizza was not visually attractive and tasted neutral. Overall, I didn't think the prices were appropriate for what was on offer.

Food was absolutely delicious. Above all, the service was exceptionally good and we felt very comfortable. Again and again!

We have another wonderful one. Enjoyed dinner in the evening - as always full of taste surprises, but without ordering an Uber. And I'm always amazed at how well the food is prepared!

1 star for several reasons, especially service/friendliness: Although there were still a few tables available, we got about the worst table. You sit very close to other people, which is a bit uncomfortable. Some orders came incorrectly. Pizza was very wet/watery. We were ignored the whole time and so we had to keep getting up. When my friend wanted to pay and spoke to the boss, he was shouted at and pointed out that he had to pay inside. No problem if you have to go in to pay by card, but you want to tell the customer because he wants to pay? Extremely unprofessional. Price/performance out of proportion. Overrated.

We love this typically Italian atmosphere: like in a living room, lively and lively; a feeling of community with other people. You are warmly welcomed, served and advised; The friendly boss knows his guests, even if they haven't been there for several months - and the food is worth the price: the finest!

Antipasto u Wolfsbarsch ok, Octopusarm winzig u teilw. verkohlt, Schwertfisch nicht frisch, 2 offene Weine wirklich kein Genuss, das Ganze sehr teuer: so bald nicht wieder...

We were there by chance because we made a stop during our bike tour. We have one Shared pizza and a salad. Both tasted very tasty. The pizza was well topped and had a nice thin base. We sat outside, but the restaurant also has a very nice indoor area.

I like to go to the Pizzeria Lustnauer Mühle. It is by far the best in Tübingen. The boss is very humble and nice and does his job with great passion. Although the pizzeria is more expensive than others in the city, the taste is simply unbeatable.

One of the best reasons to visit Tübingen again, even years after moving away! Best pizza base in all of Germany. Not for fans of crispy, thin pizza, but every pizza tastes amazing! The ambience is above average stylish for Tübingen, but not at all stuffy or uncomfortable. Great inside and out. Consumption on site is recommended, the pizza to take away or delivered is sometimes a bit too soft, but the Lustnauer Mühle can't help that. Big praise to all the employees and the very warm boss, who always comes to the table personally ❤️🍕

The Lusthauer Mühle has been mine for about 6 years Favourite. I'm a regular here for both lunch and dinner and I've never been disappointed once. The human/family aspect is my top priority and the Lustnauer Mühle fulfills this 100%. Cleanliness, service, ambience and the quality of the food are perfect. I definitely recommend trying the tagliatelle with black truffle...you'll love it. Thanks to Salvatore + team for your honest warmth and stay as you are.

One of the tastiest pizzas in Tübingen. Our go-to place for family dinners for years! Noble but cozy atmosphere in a renovated millhouse. My tip: the salame picante with burrata.

The Best Gluten Free Pizza in Tubingen

Went to Salvatore's restaurant Lustnauer Mühle repeatedly. As always, the service from him and his team was super warm and attentive (even to children). We were particularly impressed by the antipasti and homemade pasta - simply perfectly coordinated and incredibly delicious! Overall a great evening with great food. Thank you, Salvatore, for this wonderful evening! We will be back definitely!

So, on our 31st wedding anniversary we ordered a table at 11:30 that wasn't available that evening. Ultimately we were at a table where all the glasses and cutlery had been placed. No trace of romance. My wife ordered aceto for the starter, which she turned up her nose and never got. For the main course she also ordered parmesan. Without success. My liver was about 5×10 cm in size, for 17 euros. We are horrified, and on our anniversary day. We would have liked to order dolce, coffee and grappa and spend the evening there, but we were tired of it because our wishes were not taken into account. We were back home at 8 p.m. We will never go there again, absolutely not recommended. We didn't feel like guests here. We know Italian cuisine and hospitality as half of our home is in Itslien. But that's a no go.

We spontaneously ate here on the holiday and it was very, very good! Very nice and courteous service, also very child-friendly. We'd love to come back! The pizzas are highly recommended 🎉

The pizzas (Bianca and Rosso) are absolutely fantastic and the atmosphere is really nice! The dessert “Tortufa ice cream” was also really tasty... However, some other things on the menu, especially the meat and fish dishes, are absolutely overpriced and prepared without love. Escalope was far dry, brittle, tasteless and the pulp was like rubber. It can happen, but such cardinal errors are really disappointing. I can't say anything about the pasta dishes, so unfortunately my overall rating is only 3 stars. Every dish should be cooked with sweat and tears. Otherwise, just leave it off the menu.

Das Essen ist mittelmäßig, pfad und ungewürzt. Die Rosmarin Kartoffeln haben null Geschmack ! Die Pizza war verbrannt. Man hat das Gefühl abgefertigt zu werden. Die Preise sind zu hoch für diese Qualität.

Unfriendly, incompetent service. Fake friendly but still unmotivated. Likewise the food. For a 16 EUR pizza, I expect absolute top quality without any ifs and buts. Unfortunately, over the years everything has deteriorated here: the quality of the dishes, the service and therefore the price/performance ratio. I can't understand the many good reviews on Tripadvisor. I don't even want to imagine ever taking guests from Italy here.

Wir konnten für 10 Personen reservieren, saßen allerdings am Eingang. Das führte dazu, das laufend im Rücken Gäste und Personal störend langliefen, und es von der Tür zog. Dass Essen war allerdings wirklich sehr lecker. Die selbstgemachten Nudeln absolute Spitze, auch die Pizza war top, Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Subterranean price-performance ratio. Pasta floating in water (with parmesan and truffles, price 28 euros), soft and completely cooked, mini antipasti plate with tasteless caprese (cheap tomatoes) for 16 euros.

Every time it's like a little trip to Italy. Excellent pizzas from the stone oven, also thanks to the specially imported, special flour. And even if you don't feel like pizza, you'll find plenty of delicious starters and main courses. After we had already gotten our drinks, we were moved to a cluttered small side room with dark light. You bumped into the chairs at the next table and were completely cramped. The background was that we were 1 person less and the owner then wanted to give the table to more people. I can understand this, but the table assigned in the dark next room was so narrow that even the water carafe had to be put on the shelf. Everything was very cramped and not really comfortable. We then thought about taking an appetizer platter for everyone. Although it was nicely presented, it was really undersized for 6 people at this price. We definitely would have had more on our plates if everyone had ordered a plate individually. The food then arrived at the individual table with a delay, which shouldn't be the case. Here too, the cut was not really in line with the price-performance ratio. Admittedly, some of it is really very good, some of it is really borderline. My pizza was carelessly decorated and I had 1 ball of mozzarella the size of a quail egg in the middle. My colleague's pizza was literally swimming in oil, which then weighed heavily on his stomach. In summary, I can say that the ambience is nice, although every centimeter of space is taken up, cramped and takes away the charm. Price-performance was absolutely sobering and nice and cheeky, even though the products made a high-quality impression. From a restaurateur's point of view, I can clearly understand moving to another table. But then please don’t push it into the last corner. The assigned table was far too small and a disgrace. Then charging the full price for the appetizer platter per person, but reducing the quantity is incomprehensible and left a very bad taste in everyone's mouth. The service cannot be complained about, as the lady obviously made an effort. There is only a deduction for service because the boss got the best out of it despite the Italian charm. As a host you can react better here. Since I'm a gastro kid, I know what I'm talking about. The service provided the stars here, not the host. I would have at least thought of a little something as a host for the move etc. A little greeting from the kitchen could have improved the mood. Food mixed as described, but good quality. Maybe another tip, even if you want to present the freshly prepared pasta to the guest, it shouldn't just be displayed on the counter covered with cling film all evening until it's served, but rather in a decent refrigeration area, as it should be. Last but not least, real praise. In my opinion, the pizza bread for the starter was one of the best I've ever tasted. It was really very well seasoned/seasoned, crunchy and fluffy on the edge. Really more than 5 stars to the pizza chef here 👍🏻. Cheers!!! Conclusion: The overall impression was clearly disappointing and was, in summary, disappointing to slightly annoying, which, for me at least, clearly means avoiding this restaurant in the future. It's actually a shame, because with a few fewer tables and an adjusted price/performance ratio, an upscale restaurant would be at home here. Finally, a minus. The parking situation is a complete disaster. We had to park far away because there are only residents' parking spaces everywhere. This is difficult for people with walking difficulties or older people. It has nothing to do with the restaurant, but it rounded off the negative experience.

Mein Besuch in der Lustnauer Mühle war eine angenehme Erfahrung. Das Ambiente war schön schlicht und gemütlich, was zu einem entspannten Abend beitrug. Wir entschieden uns für frische Pasta, deren Portion etwas kleiner ausfiel als erwartet, aber geschmacklich dennoch überzeugte. Das Risotto mit Lachs war gut portioniert und ebenfalls geschmacklich ansprechend. Einziges Manko war, dass es an dem Abend sehr voll war, was dazu führte, dass die Bedienung zweimal vergaß, uns die Dessertkarte zu bringen. Trotzdem war der Service freundlich und bemüht. Insgesamt war der Besuch in der Lustnauer Mühle eine schöne Erfahrung, jedoch nicht perfekt.

Die Herzlichkeit in diesem schönen Restaurant ist genauso groß wie die Geschmacksvielfalt der leckeren Gerichte. Vor allem die Pastakreationen ziehen uns immer wieder an. Die Flexibilität, mit dee auf Wünsche eingegangen wird, ist ebenso ein großes Lob wert.

Sehr leckere, frische Pasta würde uns von der freundlichen und aufmerksamen Bedienung empfohlen. Zu zweit gab's 4 Sorten unterschiedlicher Spezialitäten mit unterschiedlichen Soßen. Preislich in Ordnung. Mit Vorspeise und Wein und alkoholfreien Getränken waren wir am Schluss bei 45€ pro Person. Es war unter der Woche gut besucht - dennoch haben wir gleich einen Tisch bekommen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. PS: Zwei Tage später haben wir noch Pizza dort geholt. Die war auch sehr fein.

Tolles italienisches Restaurant in Tübingen. Wer ein besonderes Pizzaerlebnis sucht ist hier goldrichtig...gute und hochwertige Zutaten sowie ein spetieller Pizzateig mit Hartweizengris. Wirklich lecker. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Eine authentische kulinarisch italienische Erfahrung serviert von Personal die ihren Job wirklich gerne machen.

Beste Pizza Tübingens! Die Pizza hat einen extrem leckeren und in seiner Konsistenz einzigartigen Boden. Die Zutaten sind stets frisch und die Kreationen sehr besonders. Abgerundet wird das ganze durch eine gemütliche Atmosphäre und einen wirklich sehr aufmerksamen und herzlichen Service. Auch Vitello Tonato und Panna Cotta sind wärmstens zu empfehlen. Ein Besuch hier ist stets ein Highlight!

Exzellente Pizza mit ausgezeichnetem Hartweizengrießteig. So eine köstliche Pizza findet man in Tübingen selten. Wir kommen immer sehr gerne, immer sehr herzliche Begrüßung gemütliches und ruhiges Ambiente, dolce vita Gefühl, wunderbar. Die Pizza gibt's auch zum mitnehmen, pünktlich und köstlich. Das allerletzte Restaurant, welches ich ein zweites Mal besuchen werde . Halb kaltes Essen. Meeresfrüchtesalat azs der Dose. Und drei grüne Blätter. Nudel eine Pampe. Kellner unfreundlich. Nicht zu empfehlen

Hätte ein 5-Sterne-Restaurant sein können, aber etwas ist schief gelaufen. Guter Service, höfliches Personal, Bestellungen kommen schnell. Für eine Pizza, ein Bier, einen Kaffee und ein Tiramisu zahlte man 31 Euro. Ich denke, es ist teuer. Vor allem Tiramisu für 7,50€ war aber lecker. Mäßig süß und delikater Nachtisch. Was jedoch enttäuschte, war der San Daniele Schinken. Sie hat nicht gute Geruch und Geschmack.

Das Lokal ist schlicht gehalten. Auf Allergien und Unverträglichkeiten wurde eingegangen. Das Essen fand ich optisch und geschmacklich ok, aber preislich im Vergleich zum Angebot und anderen Italienern in der Umgebung leider etwas dreist. Lokal m. E. etwas überbewertet. Bedienung war freundlich.

Pizza Super, für die Gnocchi und die Tentakeln muss ich leider einen Punkt abziehen, habe ich schon bessere gegessen.
