Overgrown view of the Neckar Valley, our main courses were faulty (no fresh porcini mushrooms in September, shrimp overcooked and hard, lemon sauce bitter, etc.), good parking, pleasant interior.

Nice restaurant with a lovely outdoor seating area. Friendly service, drinks were served promptly, our main course and dessert were delicious, and the espresso was hot and strong. Limited parking on-site, so we had to search for it. One star deducted because card payments are only possible for amounts over €25, and only debit cards are accepted, not credit cards. This urgently needs to be improved.

Good Italian food at reasonable prices. We sat on the terrace. It was simply excellent. Comfortable chairs with backrests, very pleasant. The young man serving, blond hair, was very courteous and friendly. His colleague, a few years older, could have been a little friendlier.

We visited the restaurant on June 12, 2025, at around 12:15 p.m. Employees were sitting inside eating. Two tables on the terrace were occupied. We suggested a table and received a menu. After waiting for about 10 minutes in vain for service personnel, we were forced to leave the restaurant and saw the staff sitting down to eat. I strongly recommend staff training!

Unfortunately, the food was mediocre, lacking flair and refinement. Service was very varied, sometimes very friendly and attentive, but also the opposite of other wait staff, who were irritated and stressed out towards the guests.

They do not accept card/debit card payments (in 2025, in Germany...)

Great Italian restaurant for decades and the only restaurant on the Herrlesberg. The owner of the restaurant now cooks himself, and a nice team takes over the service - always attentive and quick to serve. We especially recommend the pizzas and the mixed antipasti as a starter. The Primitivo is also good. Also a cozy atmosphere. Highly recommended. Make a reservation on the weekend, otherwise it won't work.

Delicious pizza at very fair prices. Service was very friendly, the restaurant was very clean and modern. Map is very well laid out. There were plenty of pizza toppings! The edge was a bit too crispy for me, so I deducted a star. Still absolutely recommended! Reservations recommended.

Very well prepared food, very wide selection of dishes and not 'just' the classic Italian dishes. The service was very friendly and attentive, we look forward to our next visit, perhaps when the weather is nice, to enjoy the great terrace with this wonderful view. Price-performance ratio is absolutely fine, I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience!

A very good pizza is offered here, the dough is surprisingly good with a special consistency on the edge, probably due to the use of special Italian flour and the baking process. The prices are absolutely acceptable and the service, we had lunch, was accommodating. I can recommend visiting this restaurant, which is located in a large residential area on a hillside and is somewhat hidden. There are 3 parking spaces directly in front of the house. Sanitary facilities are located in the basement.

Extremely disappointing experience. I ordered two appetizers, a first course and wine. The veal with tuna sauce: the meat was cut too thin and was completely smothered in the sauce. Burrata with cherry tomatoes: I can find the same burrata at Aldi and I don't pay 13 euros for it😒!!! The wine: we were undecided (there were 5 of us plus a little girl) whether to take a bottle of nero d'Avola, so the waiter offered us a half-litre carafe... at the end of the evening we had drunk 2, we paid for it as nero d'Avola, but it was house wine! 50 euros for 2 carafes of house wine, a plate of trofie with 4 pieces of mushrooms, 2 pieces of courgette and frozen prawns and the famous burrata... I will never go back there again

In my opinion, price-performance doesn't quite match. I find the pizzas to be poorly topped. It tastes good, no question about it - I just think the price is too high. I find service inauthentically friendly.

Ordered two pizzas to take away. Once margarita and once with salami and champions. Friendly service, short waiting time, price-performance just acceptable. When I go to an Italian restaurant and order pizza, I expect a corresponding culinary experience that meets certain requirements. Unfortunately that wasn't the case. The pizzas didn't have a fluffy edge a la Napolitana style. The base was not baked hot enough to impart the characteristic roasted aromas. The tomato sauce lacked seasoning. Salami, champions and cheese were of average quality, the cheese would have lost water during baking, which is why the base of the pizzas was soggy in the middle. In an emergency, it's enough to fill your stomach, but nothing more

Best Italian restaurant in the area! Great food, sometimes something more unusual, great pizza, homemade desserts… Very nice inside, but the terrace is awesome. But the best thing is the service… everyone is super nice, very accommodating and quick. Have everything under control, even when there's a lot going on... really great... An absolute recommendation!!!!!

We went there for the first time with our children because our favorite Italian was on holiday and we were thoroughly pleasantly surprised. The food (we had pizza and pasta dishes) was very tasty. Dessert including expresso was also temptingly good. The service was very attentive and immediately brought the children's cutlery for our children (we otherwise have to ask several times in other restaurants to get it) and gave us absolute attention and appreciation despite or precisely because we had several children with us. We will be back!

A super good Italian restaurant on the outskirts of Tübingen, where I always enjoy eating out or ordering something to take away. Friendly service, very tasty food and a cozy interior completely justify the slightly above-average prices. In my opinion, all the pasta dishes are particularly recommended here.

Rather inconspicuous from the outside. But everything inside is really wonderful. Food and service was excellent. I had the penne arrabiata and for desert a chocolate cake with a liquid center and a double espresso.

Came here spontaneously for lunch today without a reservation. As a starter there was a very tasty field salad with crayfish and a beetroot carpaccio with avocado cream and scampi. Then pasta, strozzapreti with veal and wide tagliatelle with salmon and spinach. Food and service top. We'd love to come back! Thanks.

Wir waren mal wieder bei Bella Vista nach längerer Zeit und hatten uns auf eine leckere Pizza gefreut. Nachdem wir die Karten bekommen hatten hieß es dann aber beim Bestellvorgang, dass der Pizzateig alle ist. Das hätten wir gerne vorab gewusst. So mussten wir uns spontan umentscheiden. Später haben wir gesehen, dass der Nachbartisch 2 Pizzen hatte.. Naja.. Die Nudeln war lecker, aber nichts Außergewöhnliches. Ich würde hier die Pizza empfehlen. Insgesamt 4 von 5.

Wir haben hier für die Taufe meiner Tochter gegessen und fanden alles was wir bestellt haben, sehr lecker. Die Vorspeise war geschmackvoll und wir haben uns voll gefühlt. Als die Rechnung kam war ich angenehm überrascht, weil ich mit viel mehr, bzw. einem höheren Betrag gerechnet habe. Also gutes Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Gutes Essen. Sehr guter Italiener aus Tübingen, die pizza ist ist die beste aus Tübingen. Auch die Pasta Gerichte sind sehr empfehlenswert. Das Restaurant besitzt eine sehr schöne Terrasse hinter dem Haus, das Ambiente im Innenraum ist stielvoll und modern eingerichtet. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Immer wenn wir in der nähe sind, sind wir im Bella Vista, es ist super nett und die Schokoküchlein sind ein absolutes Highlight! Man wird einfach mega behandelt und auch Extrawünsche werden super beachtet! Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen, auch für Kinder (haben Karten gespielt, war kein Problem)

Wir alle suchen immer diese Top italienischen Gaststätten...man muss nicht weit fahren Sie ist auf dem Herrlesberg.. Preis Leistung einmalig im Raum Tübingen und Hr. Zagaria überlässt nichts dem Zufall.

Das Essen war gut, leider etwas zu wenig gewürzt. Die Suppe war leider sehr fad aber schön angerichtet. Der Koch dürfte gerne etwas mehr würzen, Gewürze stehen auf dem Tisch zum selber würzen. Die Pizza war in Ordnung. Ich fand es etwas schade das kein Bruschetta (nicht sicher ob das so geschrieben wird) und auch nichts überbacken (Lasagne) auf der Speisekarte gab. Der Ausblick ist schön und auch der innen Raum ist schön angerichtet. Das Personal fanden wir freundlich. Die Weine sind Klasse und wirklich zu empfehlen ☺️.

Unser Erlebnis in diesem Restaurant war eher durchwachsen. Geschmacklich war die Penne all’arrabbiata sehr gut, dafür hat die Pizza aber nicht unsere Erwartungen erfüllt. Was gar nicht geht ist, dass der Tisch schon abgeräumt wird, bevor alle fertig sind mit essen. Außerdem ist Kartenzahlung erst ab 50 Euro möglich, was absolut nicht mehr zeitgemäß ist im Jahr 2023.

Gute Auswahl, gute Qualität, im Sommer tolle Terasse. Eine Reservierung ist empfehlenswert, da bei unseren Besuchen meist gut "belegt" auch Samstag Mittag.
