Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichhaltig. Die Bedienung war äußerst freundlich und flexibel, der Wirt einsame Spitze. Wir haben dort einen sehr schönen Abend verbracht und kommen gerne wieder.

We were there with a group of 9 people for the Christmas party and I had been looking forward to it for days. Unfortunately the evening was very disappointing for me. My starter, the tapas plate, was great. I've always wanted to try it out and was pleasantly surprised. Then unfortunately the disaster began. It was quite crowded, which is why everything took a little longer. that's perfectly fine. Two colleagues at our table ordered the rump steak and I ordered the ''Alt Coblenz Spezial'' hip steak. (Two completely different dishes, as the latter with Bernaise sauce and mushrooms). The waitress came to the table and said that she had two rump steaks, whereupon my colleagues spoke up. It was my turn last. She said and the rump steak again! I told her I didn't order it. She went away! Then she came back and said the rump steak was the rump steak. Everyone looked at each other questioningly! I told her that this was not the case and that they were two different dishes. She emphasized several times: for us the rump steak is the hip steak! At this point I would recommend training the staff before letting them loose on guests! Then she took the food away from my colleague and put the fresh rump steak in front of him and said, this is her food! Then she came to me and wanted to put the plate in front of me, which of course my colleague had already eaten from. When I didn't want that, I seriously asked myself whether she should bring it into the kitchen now, after all, I wouldn't have spoken up when she said rump steak the first time! I told her again that I hadn't ordered a rump steak either. She went into the kitchen, came back rudely and said THIS TAKES NOW! Then someone actually came out of the kitchen promptly and put the plate with the Alt Coblenz Spezial in front of me! And what can I say, the meat was English (it's a shame to serve something like that if you don't ask about the degree of doneness beforehand) and the biggest shame was that the fries were suddenly a much smaller portion and were served COLD! I assume that I got the fries that were taken from the food that was brought back, otherwise the fries would have been hot and significantly more. I only know Sauce Bernaise hot. This too was not heated and was cold in the small vessel. My boss said I should say something again, but that was enough for me! Otherwise I probably wouldn't have gotten something to eat until 11 p.m. After this huge disappointment, my colleagues agreed to a dessert and I have to say that the cheesecake was incredibly tasty! In conclusion, you can say that the food there is really good, but the way they treat well-paying guests is simply unacceptable. At NO time was there an apology for this error. On the contrary, I still had to discuss it because the lady told me rump and hips are the same thing. And what annoyed me the most was that a guest who had already been served the wrong food was then served such a careless and quick snot! I apologize for the statement, but nothing else was the food that was served to me uncooked and cold. For me, this is clearly a sign that the guest is obviously not valued there and that there is no need to worry about the guest's well-being. I thought that was a real shame because I had been so looking forward to the evening in the restaurant beforehand. There are three stars because the starter and dessert were really great. Unfortunately, due to the way the guests are treated there, I would not recommend the restaurant.

Die Atmosphäre ist typisch Brauhaus. Das passt, Speisekarte hat eine gute Auswahl. Gute Portionen, schade nur, dass das Cordon Bleu mit Gouda gemacht ist, nicht mit Bergkäse. Hat aber trotzdem ordentlich geschmeckt. Der Service war freundlich, aber sehr unkoordiniert. Für zwei Personen mit vier Getränken und zwei Essen hatten wir insgesamt 4 verschiedene Personen am Tisch. Mehr Absprache wäre hier hilfreich, so kam es doch zu längeren Wartezeiten und eine Bestellung ging "verloren". Kann passieren, aber irgendwie geht das eben auch besser.

Sagenhaft lecker! Der Spießbraten mit dunkler Soße und so zartem Fleisch, dass es schon auseinanderfällt, ein Gedicht! Und genauso muss das auch sein ; nicht wie jemand hier schrieb! Currywurst ebenso köstliche Soße und ganz große Portionen. Unschlagbar für den Preis. Immer gut gelaunter Besitzer, der mit einem lustigen Spruch sehr dem Gast zugewandt ist! Bestes Lokal!

We stopped by Wdeinhaus Hubertus for a glass of wine on a wet afternoon. It was a good choice. I think it is really a restaurant, but they were happy to serve us a bottle of Riesling and some small things to eat. A very nice setting.

Auch hier zum 1. Mal Mittag gegessen. Sehr freundliche, flotte und aufmerksame Bedienung. Das Essen war gut und der Wein auch. Man kann drinnen und draußen sehr gut sitzen. Empfehlenswert!

Excellent views and great service. We visited with a four year old and twin babies. Even with the chaos of our family, we felt very welcome. My four year old ate more than he ever had and wants to go back. 🤣 My husband and I got the schnitzel. It was delicious but the best part was the potatoes with bacon. I’ll be dreaming about those for years to come!

Well, the restaurant offers rather simple cuisine, but it has always been delicious. The ambience is well above what you would imagine from a soldiers' leisure home and the service was always very good.
