Kaffeewirtschaft GmbH in Koblenz

If you Google "Gluten-free in Koblenz," you'll be recommended the Kaffeewirtschaft am Münzplatz, among others. Unfortunately, the menu is completely inadequate and in some cases even incorrectly labeled with the relevant allergy information. The two waitresses present were very attentive and genuinely friendly, but were just as unhelpful as the chef. The chef we called (who supposedly knows what's on the menu now gluten-free) didn't have the time (or inclination) to provide information at the time of our visit. Two stars because the ambiance was lovely and the blonde waitress, in particular, was really super nice and extremely helpful. Conclusion: The Kaffeewirtschaft is not suitable for people with intolerances. For visitors without any restrictions, it's certainly wonderful here.

The service is very friendly. You can enjoy a delicious latte macchiato or a variety of teas there.

One star deducted because the Pinot Gris was only mediocre. The café is located on Münzplatz in Koblenz's beautiful old town. You can sit inside or outside.

A lovely café in the old town, near the Moselle riverbank and the Altstadt/Weißer Höfe parking garage. Many vegetarian and vegan dishes are available for both small and large appetites. The food was delicious, the portions generous, and the service attentive.

It's worth taking a detour if you hit corners.

Visited this charming coffee shop in Koblenz's old town. It's beautifully located on Münzplatz, where you can visit many cafés. The weather was good, and there's plenty of seating outside. I ordered a latte, which was served promptly. It tasted and looked impeccable. Some of the benches/tables/chairs are past their best, but that's not a major complaint. They served their purpose perfectly. Something else can't really be said for the service. The waitress was quick to get to the table, and the coffee was brought promptly, but unfortunately, I didn't see them again after that. I would have liked to stay a bit longer, but I can be thirsty elsewhere. So I went inside to pay. But other than that, a really nice place.

In principle, I can recommend the restaurant. However, it's not suitable for people with walking difficulties. You have to climb many stairs into the basement to get to the restroom. The apple pie was good. The prices were reasonable for the city center.

Beautiful restaurant in the old town of Koblenz on Münzerplatz. The salads are very tasty and extensive, the service is very good.

We had reserved a table for Sunday at 10:00. When we arrived at the coffee shop, the whole terrace was set up so that there was nowhere to go through. The only “entrance” was blocked with signs. The café was apparently open (we had also received confirmation of the reservation by phone). We waited about 15 minutes and were also seen by an employee (but ignored). At some point we left. Too bad.

Ate in the coffee shop for the first time... the food tasted great. Portions ok. We ordered a veal schnitzel with fries (also possible with fried potatoes) and a small side salad.

Okay for people who are not physically handicapped. Given the parking situation, they could, if necessary, switch to a parking space for severely disabled people, provided that it is free and the appropriate authorization is available. The food was tasty, but for the price it could have been one more pancake. Therefore “only” four stars.

Unfortunately the breakfast wasn't that great...baked rolls, a bit of cheese and sausage...jam was pure sugar, poor quality. We also had to wait almost an hour for it. The service is nice and nice, but seemed quite disorganized. It's a shame...since the place has charm...

We sat down. We didn't hear a hello, didn't acknowledge us, and the waiters didn't even acknowledge us. Several times, the waiters walked past without even noticing us. When we asked if we could order something, a waitress suddenly threw a card on the table in an annoyed manner. After that, we stood up. Sorry, but unfortunately unprofessional! Never again!

I like to meet friends there for coffee. In summer the terrace is quite nice.

Es wurden meine Kollegen, zu meinem runden Geburtstag eingeladen. Am Tag vor dem Frühstück bekam ich einen Anruf, ob es beim Termin und der Personenanzahl bleibt. Ob ich vorab Wünsche hätte. Ich habe mich für das Frühstück für 2 Personen entschieden. Dies mehrfach bestellt. Dazu der Wunsch, das der Käse nicht mit der Wurst auf einem Teller serviert wird, da Vegetarier zu Gast sind. Was soll ich sagen: einfach perfekt!!! Der liebevoll gedeckte Tisch, sogar mit weißer Tischdecke. Kerzen und frische Rosen. Besser geht es nicht. Dazu eine junge Frau, die uns unaufdringlich und sehr professionell versorgt hat. Alle waren begeistert. Wir sind dann 4 Stunden geblieben, jeder der Gäste schwärmt heute noch. Dort feiern wir garantiert wieder. So geht Gastfreundlichkeit.

Unsere Zufriedenheit ist trotz hoher Auslastung auch dem sehr entspannten und freundlichen jungen Mann vom Service zu verdanken - vielen Dank!

I don't know if no star is possible 😀 I thought it was bad there. Was cheekily asked by the waitress to stand up in order to let her through. The situation was very unpleasant and overpriced. I will avoid it in the future.

The food was very tasty, the coffee was excellent! The service was very accommodating! I spent wonderful hours there. If you haven't enjoyed the coffee industry, you haven't visited Koblenz. My recommendation: Stroll through the old town, discover the alleys and look at the church and then definitely go to the coffee shop. Enjoy the atmosphere, the food, the view and sort your impressions in your bullet journal. A good day.

We have always enjoyed both lunch and breakfast very well. Good selection. Also vegetarian food, oat milk, lactose-free milk for coffee and decaffeinated. Service is on point. Nice atmosphere in the store. You might be bothered by the fact that the tables are a bit close to each other.

I've liked the place for many years...it's getting old...furniture, toilets...but I'm still drawn back there again...tasty drinks and food...great location on Münzplatz...sun from morning to evening

Unfortunately, the service could be improved greatly on the last visit.

The service is very poor and disappointing. We were there specifically to reserve a table for 12 to 15 people for a baptism. We chose a table under the stairs by the window and mentioned several times that a table by the toilet was definitely out of the question for us. On the day of the baptism we didn't get the table we reserved. But a table for 10 people right next to the toilet. The problem was not solved by the restaurant and we had to leave the restaurant. Stupid situation on an occasion like a baptism, especially when the child being baptized is 10 years old and the day should actually remain a fond memory.

Nice staff, the food was... okay. Can't be compared with other cafes in Koblenz that put a lot of effort into the food. That is not the case here. Still okay, just nothing that stands out in a positive way.

A great restaurant with very friendly staff who are always available for a little small talk. All dishes are very tasty and attractively presented. We find the price performance to be appropriate. We had a great evening here, keep it up. If there is something to complain about, it is the noise, otherwise I can recommend the restaurant without hesitation.

Nice service, good food and great ambience

Basically, you're always in the right place, the food is delicious and whether it's down-to-earth or a little more exclusive, there's something for everyone. I particularly like the imaginative salads. Sitting on the hard wooden chairs is uncomfortable and tiring for me.

Salad plates are top there. Service took a long time. There was a lot going on that evening. We got a table for 4 without booking in advance. We always enjoy going there.

Cafe for rich people, but it's always full. You wait a long time before you can order. Other guests left because of this. Staff not exactly friendly or accommodating. Tables are simply in the middle of the way and so customers and staff have to push past you. I wonder why they put tables there then. The prices are really too much so I don't plan on going again.

We got a seat here on a Sunday morning without booking in advance. The breakfast plate and egg cup were dirty. The service was nice and quick. The breakfast was plentiful.

Yesterday the two of us had dinner at the coffee shop. We didn't have a reservation, but we still got a nice table. What should be highlighted was the super nice service, very accommodating, friendly and professional! You rarely experience it anymore. We really enjoyed the food. It was nicely prepared and there was nothing wrong with the taste. We'll definitely be back!

Disastrous service! Waiting time impossible.

It's wonderful to sit outside here in the evening with a view over the square. Also in autumn with a blanket. Great. Drinks and food were always absolutely fine. Always worth a visit, and above all there are always staff there who are always particularly friendly.

Left to go around the town on our own from our Riviera boat the Emily Bronte, we walked up some steps from the Moselle and eventually came to Munzplatz, here we went in to the first cafe bar we came across which was this. We had a beer, and came back later after a walk around the town for some food. We had a few more beers and their Flammkuchen "Provencal" which was very good.

INCREDIBLE restaurant with a great variety of dishes! Everything we tried was delicious! The spot is very cosy and the staff very friendly! Highly recommended!

Very friendly service, reasonable prices

We stopped for a light dinner and a drink and it was a success. They have small things like aperitif to have with a wine or cocktail like brusccheta and then other options, quite affordable. The coscous with vegetables was a good portion, the flammkuchen was also tasty and fine and the cocktails were also good. The waitress was very friendly and although the terrace was full we had no problems finding a table and they served us relatively quickly. Everything was fine, the only thing that bothered me was that the tables are quite close together and we had a couple of very noisy tables very close together.

The price-performance ratio has not been right for a long time. Now the prices have been increased significantly again. As an example, the spinach pancakes for 17.50 euros. The price was increased twice within 2 years and the product became even smaller. The spinach pancake is most likely also a convenience product. We are very dissatisfied and will now look for alternatives. So far we have been to the coffee industry every two weeks.

Price performance is not right. Food came 1 hour apart. Cutlery had to be requested for every dish. Sometimes we got our own cutlery, napkins and glasses. The service was absolutely overwhelmed. Prices overpriced

Iconic, great. Our coffee of feelings 😉 The service has always been great so far, but over the last few months small inaccuracies and inattention have been happening again and again. If you mention it, you will respond immediately. Therefore, one star less for service at the moment. We always enjoy coming back and sitting there for a long time. Clear recommendation!!! We (4-5 women) have tried quite a few things on the menu and everything was good to very good.

We were visiting Koblenz and stopped at the coffee shop. Nice outdoor restaurant, nice staff, good cappucino and a nice sour lemon woodruff lemonade; very refreshing. I can only recommend it.

The food is always very good. Of course it's difficult to get good staff at this time, but so far I have to say that the staff is friendly, they have a lot to do when there are a lot of guests to serve. But as a guest I have time and look forward to the good food.

There is currently a generational change in staff. Still in the steep part of the optimization curve.

Very pleasant house, both for a quiet coffee, a beer or a small meal! The service is attentive and friendly.

Was there yesterday with 3 friends from 4:30 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.! During this time, drinks were only asked when ordering food. As a result, our glasses were all empty for hours and no one asked when clearing the dishes! When we then asked for the invoice, a complete invoice was created. One could have asked whether it would be paid separately or together. When we then said that it could be done separately, the waitress became quite nervous and asked if anyone had their cell phone so that they could calculate the amounts with the calculator!!! I thought it was a joke!!! Next time I'll pour the drink myself...or whatever. She quickly noticed that we were a bit angry and then got her own cell phone to do the math. There is an urgent need to hire competent staff there.
