Great food and service. I had the goulash soup, small salad and their diet cola. Everything was delicious, and the staff was kind with our speaking only English. They have an English menu which saved us from Google Translate!

Maybe the kitchen staff was having a bad day, but probably not on a Sunday. Rather hard schnitzel from the deep fryer, the breading more convenience than homemade. The "fried" potatoes also came from the deep fryer and were more like chips than fried potatoes. The leaf lettuce under the sausage salad was long past its best, wilted, and really shouldn't have been served to the customer in that state. As a side note, the Spezi was three-quarters orange soda. Plus point: the service was extremely nice and friendly, but not really interested in the above complaints. Bottom line: we went there twice. The first and last time.

Fried potatoes: Ready-made potato slices from the fryer. Onions: Braised onions in a thick brown sauce. Beer: Maximilian's Helles beer, delicious! Service: Fast and very friendly! In conclusion: If you want a drink on your trip, this is the place to go. Unfortunately, I won't be eating anything here again.

The waitress was very attentive and friendly. The service was good. But the food (we were there with six adults and three children) left a lot to be desired. The fries were the only thing that was really tasty. The bratwurst was more like a boiled sausage and appeared to have been reheated. The schnitzel was okay, but the food was of the snack-bar standard. The price/performance ratio isn't right!

A really nice evening in a super cute little bar. The beer was delicious – I especially enjoyed the Mäxchen. The waiters were extremely friendly and attentive, which made the visit even more enjoyable. All in all, a great place for a cozy stop – highly recommended!

A lovely restaurant in a fantastic location overlooking the Moselle River. We enjoyed the food and drinks. The service was particularly good. Our waiter, Gino, and the other staff were more than accommodating and even very child-friendly toward our 5-year-old daughter.

Basically, it's not a bad place. That's why I've been there many times. Unfortunately, they've stopped serving Kölsch and Königsbacher Pilz. The house brew is okay, though. Unfortunately, card payments weren't possible either. They claimed it was because of my phone (although I usually pay with it everywhere).

The food itself was delicious. I had a schnitzel with onion sauce and fried potatoes. The price of €22 was certainly steep. But the real highlight were the two mini schnitzels and a baby portion of bearded potatoes. Honestly, two regular-sized potatoes or one large one.

The portions of schnitzel and fried potatoes were tiny and the price was far too high. We were here a year ago, and the schnitzel and fried potatoes were twice as large and cheaper.

We had a wonderful meal and were helped by a very friendly young man. The schweinhaxe was the best we've ever had, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The skewers were also very tasty. I recommend this restaurant.

We visited the restaurant yesterday. We reserved a table in advance. The food was delicious. The young waiter was very friendly and quick. He even fulfilled the 🕯️'s request. Thank you very much for that. It was a very pleasant evening with delicious Biel and hearty home cooking. We would gladly return.

We only stopped here for coffee today and sought shelter from the rain. But the terrace with its view of the Moselle is truly a highlight. And I'd especially like to emphasize the extremely warm and friendly service. Despite the terrible weather, they radiated warmth and good cheer. And, of course, the coffee was delicious, too.

Questo ristorante, che offre tavoli sia all' interno che all' esterno, serve cucina tipica tedesca: vinerschnitzel, insalate, stinchi, wurstel.... Noi abbiamo preso stinco e insalata. Tutto a bastanza buono. Abbiamo cenato con vista fiume!

I have to briefly share my experiences from last year. Come in without registering. Delicious, home-brewed beer. After a beer in the queue there was a table which we soon shared with another couple. We got to know them better over the course of the evening, had a lot of fun and still meet up occasionally today. The food came quickly and was as I imagine it would be in a brewery. Not star-rated cuisine, but tasty and sufficient. Recommended brewery. Table reservation is recommended.

Het restaurant is een plek waar groepen jongeren (20-30jaar) samenkomen om te genieten van o.a. lekkere schnitzels en kleine vaatjes bier aan tafel geserveerd. Wij waren met een oudere vriendengroep, gemiddelde 57 jaar, en moeten zeggen dat het eten, de bediening en het bier lekker was doch was er één minpuntje en dat was het rumoer (teveel lawaai) door het enthousiasme en uitbundigheid van de jongeren. Er waren op het moment van onze aanwezigheid dan ook 2 groepen vrijgezellen aan het vieren. Indien je het wat rustiger zoekt om samen te dineren, is dit niet echt the place to be. Ondanks dit enige minpuntje een toffe en leuke zaak.

We were walking at the Deutsches Eck today when we got hungry. We spontaneously went to the Old Department Store. We received a friendly welcome, the staff were very friendly and attentive. We ordered our food and it took less than 10 minutes, the food was super tasty and hot. The ambience is very nice and you have a beautiful view of the Moselle. Will come again, highly recommended 👍😋

I was very surprised. A small, rustic, very harmonious pub. At first I was looking for another restaurant, but I didn't like it at all, so I ended up there. The service staff didn't pretend to be friendly, but honest and the food was very tasty. Gladly again and again.
