Exceptional ambiance. Good food, top-notch service. The only downside is the noise level; you practically had to shout at each other if you wanted to have a conversation. But that's just the building's fault. The restaurant can't do anything about it.

I ate the worst fries ever there on Saturday: hard, dry and unseasoned. And after I said that (when I handed back my half-full bowls) the two (already unfriendly “ladies”) were still insulted. If I had received a reasonable answer or explanation, I would not have given this negative message. A few years ago it WAS a “must” for me to eat these fries in Dortmund. ….that’s it Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the food, but you could actually have seen it in the photo. By the way, I got a shandy in a plastic cup and my daughter got a coke, which she poured three-quarters full, either I pay for a coke and get it or it's just a copy and it has to be signposted!!

After a long time, I ordered a portion of fries with curry ketchup and mayo. The fries tasted almost unseasoned, and the ketchup was mostly sour and watery. The mayonnaise was a French fry spread and tasted of what it's made of: chemicals. So, I'll be checking that box and not ordering again.
