Die besten Restaurants mit Deutsches restaurant Essen in Cuxhaven

Deduction for ambience because the pillars in the room made it a bit narrow and detours were necessary. In addition, the view of the sea is somewhat limited by the columns. But still everything is very nice.

Das Essen ist wirklich gut, der Service immer zuvorkommend, aber nie belästigend. Leider kam eine große Runde mit sehr kleinen Kindern, diese waren sehr laut, aber dafür kann das Restaurant nichts. Alles in allem: immer wieder gerne, sie bereiten einem den schönsten Geburtstag!

We were there for the first time yesterday. We entered the restaurant and received no response to our “hello” from either the staff present or the two chefs behind the counter. Ok, maybe that's North German humor, we thought. A young man brought us to the table and we only got short, unfriendly answers to our questions. The food came quickly and was from ok (my husband's meal) to inedible (my meal of salmon on pan-fried vegetables only tasted like pepper and the salmon was totally dry). When I paid, for whatever reason, I gave a tip of €6. I'm still waiting for the “thank you”, it was accepted without comment. Our “bye” was again not returned by anyone. I really don't expect anything out of the ordinary, but all in all this was unbeatable in terms of unfriendliness! We go to Duhnen at least once a year, but we definitely won't go there again! I can't understand the many good reviews. Too bad.

Last night we had dinner with the children at the Oyster Pearl. Our young waitress was very nice and friendly. The schnitzel was too thick for me personally and the sauce on the mushrooms with fried onions was missing for me. What we absolutely didn't like was the price for a 0.4 liter apple juice. 7€ is already very ambitious here.
