When choosing between McDonald's and this place, I don't wish I had chosen this place. I got much more for the same price, but that's not the main thing. There are very few people there, which makes the atmosphere extremely calm and conducive to conversation. The service is excellent, they understand English, you can smile and even thank them for their work. I definitely recommend it!

I can't understand some of the bad reviews about the price or quality. We always go to Karatsbichl when we are in Oberstdorf. The food is always freshly cooked and impeccably prepared. This is complex and quality has its price. I'm also very happy that the Kaiserschmarrn tastes the way it is prepared here, it would be boring if it tasted the same everywhere. Keep it up and don't be impressed by people who don't know any better. We think it's great with you...

Very nice, rustic pub with a very nice landlady. Food was excellent, very large portions and comparatively very cheap.

We always enjoy being there, the food is really good (often regional), the staff are all super friendly and you have a view of Lake Ammersee from almost everywhere in the restaurant. In summer you can also sit outside.

Super successful evening. Great ambience, friendly and courteous service, brilliant food. It's been a long time since I've had such a good onion roast 🥰 My wife's burger was also just perfect. I think it's wonderful that they buy locally and also point this out on the menu. Here you know what's on your plate. It's worth every penny.

The Food is too simple for the price you pay (poor quality). Inside the restaurant it smells like it hasn't been cleaned in a long time. This was confirmed by dirty cutlery on non properly cleaned table. Decaying furnishings.
