Super nice beer garden on Lake Ammersee, self-service but the service when serving food was very friendly. I would go there again and again.

We were in this restaurant by chance... the ambience was very nice. It's a shame that the menu was only available to a limited extent on Sunday lunchtime and that's it was over...

The Schondorfer Seepost impressed us in every respect. We would particularly like to highlight the fresh and delicious salads, which were prepared with great attention to detail - a real pleasure. The service was quick, attentive and always friendly, which made our visit even more pleasant. Another highlight is the beautiful sun terrace, from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant itself is quite nice, but the Kaiserschmarren was one of the worst things I've ever eaten. You can't normally offer something like that to guests. A gooey, solid mass drowned in caramel. Too bad

Well, we now know that it's expensive at the lake, but a Leberkäss roll for €7 and a Spezi for €6 are overkill for me.

We were as a couple on Sunday, August 4 (2024). We had one dish each for dinner. It was all very rich. We accompany it with a large bottle of water. We paid €49. They had the terrace very full but, very kindly, they found a place for us. So, we had dinner at a place with beautiful views. They treated us quickly and very kindly. The woman who checked us in spoke fluent English, which was a big help (unfortunately, I'm still learning German). I recommend this place.

Very large outdoor area including a beer garden, with a view of the lake and access to the jetty, but separated by a street. Rustic ambience and a menu where quality trumps quantity. The style is more Bavarian, classic, but with a twist and vegetarians are also taken into account. The wild herb salad is highly recommended. We received a greeting from the kitchen, which was also a taste experience based on fresh herbs.

Today I ended up here at Seepost. Well, unfortunately I can't say much good things here, but I'll still try to convey it optimistically despite everything. The cornetto ice cream and pretzel were good. The Bavarian hot dog was nice, but... (Well, let's leave it at "Very Nice") The Swiss sausage salad, however, was an absolute disappointment, in terms of taste it was absolutely unloving and the portion size also left a lot to be desired. Far too much cucumber, which of course took away the little bit of flavor that was there and to top it off you have to buy the pretzel separately for 1.50 euros. For me as a chef, it's a complete defeat... If I hadn't been so terribly hungry, I would have sent this food back immediately! My tip to people: please find your love for cooking again, I really missed it... I'll leave it open to myself whether I'll consider visiting this establishment again for dinner. But for now, I'm vaccinated. Mfg: Fully

Wonderful beer garden with a beautiful view of the lake! The food in both the beer garden and the restaurant is great and the service is absolutely fine. Plus, free parking right in front of the door - easy to recommend... And there's also Augustiner :-)

Went to Seepost again after a long time to receive an invitation for a big birthday. We were in the small side room. The service was great and the food has gotten better again. Everyone enjoyed it. The meat with red cabbage and dumplings were a huge portion. I thought it was particularly good that the hosts were able to decorate the table themselves and that people could bring home-made cakes and pies from private parties. Of course, you had to pay for the cake per place setting. The dishes come from the restaurant. I was very satisfied and you can eat there again.

Inside a very comfortably furnished location. Lots of wood and fireplace. The small extension is a bit noisy as there are no sound absorbers on the walls. The service is quick and attentive. The dishes are fresh and excellently prepared. Except for the Kaiserschmarrn, which was unfortunately a bit charred, which is also due to the fact that it had been on demand for a long time. A huge beer garden with a view of Lake Ammersee completes the overall picture. Prices are in the upper range, but value for money is good. Also very suitable for children. Card payment possible, rather tense parking situation.

We were there late morning. Very lovely staff. They also had water for our Wuffi. The brunch was really good and reasonably priced. When I'm there again, I'll probably enjoy it again ❤️

Never again ! We had a reservation for several people. When we arrived it turned out that our table was already taken. We were then seated at another table (which was perfectly fine) and then we were completely ignored. Orders were being ordered and served around us; the ladies kept looking at us and then turning away. When we left the restaurant after about 10-15 minutes, no one was interested. Given the prices, they probably don't need it anymore.

The hammer! Absolute unfriendliness of the service, the barman and the tenant himself - despite Easter Sunday and a friendly smile from me. It's no fun paying €5 (!!!!) for a cafe latte to go (without a lid!!!). Crazy world!!! If you don't know how hospitality works, you shouldn't open a restaurant. Otherwise a wonderful location for years. But: Service and friendliness are elementary!

We went there for dinner with my parents. The service is absolutely attentive and friendly, the food was excellent and there was even a greeting from the kitchen as a starter. Highly recommended. We will definitely come back :)

Was back at Seepost for the first time after the change of tenant. The renovation was a success, the menu was varied, the food was delicious (a huge portion of truffle pasta), and the service was attentive. The others at the table also enjoyed it. The prices are ok for the location on the lake/Schondorf.

We were guests for breakfast at the weekend. Unfortunately, the service we initially received was a bit “rustic and rough”. We didn't feel comfortable in this environment. Only later did another service person arrive, who was very friendly. However, the first impression had badly affected our mood. The quality of the food was okay. This could perhaps convince us to give it another try. In retrospect it turned out that we were served first by the operations manager. You should actually expect more customer friendliness.

Insanely delicious schnitzel! Great location by the lake, what more could you want. Mini deduction for the service because we had to wait for the drinks & in general the staff wasn't enough for the mass of people. But you have to think that the requests for changes to the schnitzel from potato salad to fries were accepted and implemented without any problems. But otherwise really great Free parking along the lake, a rarity - we were happy. Because otherwise you often have to pay a lot for parking.

Es wurden ldr zwei falsche Bestellungen serviert, - wurde allerdings zurück genommen ;-) und konnte erneut bestellt werden... Die Weißwürste waren nur lauwarm! Geräuschpegel war fast unerträglich, eine Unterhaltung war kaum möglich:-(, Schade, da es sich um ein Frühstück mit Freunden handelte...

Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, auch haben wir uns mit den Kindern sehr willkommen gefühlt. Die Portionen waren ordentlich und lecker. Wir kommen gerne wieder, ein ganz tolles Ambiente fürs Frühstücken

Das Ambiente wie auch die Frühstückskarte ist ein Besuch wert. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen wieder.

Wir waren zum Frühstück da. Das Tapas-Konzept fanden wir wirklich eine tolle Idee allerdings stimmte für uns das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht. Für vier Ecken Bergkäse 6,50€ zu verlangen ist unseres Erachtens viel zu viel. Genauso verhält es sich leider bei dem Wurstaufschnitt. Im Prinzip war es wie ein „normales“ Frühstück in anderen Lokalen aber fast doppelt so teuer. Es war sehr lecker aber eben doch nur ein „normales“ Frühstück.

Wir waren zu zweit am Tag nach den Weihnachtsfeiertagen zum Abendessen da. Neben uns waren noch fünf Tische belegt. Trotzdem dauerte es ewig, bis wir unsere Bestellung aufgeben könnten, obwohl unsere Speisekarten wider geschlossen neben uns lagen. Unsere Getränkebestellung mussten wir nach der Essensbestellung dem Kellner nachrufen. Auch bei der Nachbestellung von Getränken saßen wir lange vor leeren Gläsern. Schade, dass sich der Service lieber mit sich selbst und dem Smartphone beschäftigt als mit seinen Gästen.

Es wurden Sonderwünsche erfüllt. Der Service war einwandfrei und alle waren sehr freundlich und zugewandt. Das Essen war gut. Ein schönes Restaurant am Ammersee. Wir kommen wieder.

Nachdem das Lokal komplett neu gemacht wurde, gehen wir sehr gerne dorthin. Kein Vergleich zu früher. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut und der Service äußerst freundlich. Auch preislich kann man wirklich nichts sagen. Wir haben zwei kleine Kinder für die es was zum Ausmalen gab. Von uns eine ganz klare Empfehlung. 👍
