Essen so lala, aber sehr nette und flotte Bedienung

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und waren positiv überrascht. Die Terrasse ist sehr schön, und auch innen ist das Restaurant gemütlich und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Als wir ankamen, wurden wir sofort freundlich begrüßt. Die Kellnerin hat uns direkt einen schönen Platz angeboten und uns sehr aufmerksam bedient. Das Essen war sehr lecker, und alles wurde überraschend schnell serviert – wir mussten nicht einmal fünf Minuten warten. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Das Restaurant können wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. 🙂

Wir haben dem Flugplatzrestaurant einen Besuch abgestattet und uns dort sehr wohlgefühlt. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die ausgesprochen freundliche Bedienung. Eine ältere Dame hat sich sehr herzlich um uns gekümmert, mit uns geplaudert und für eine angenehme, persönliche Atmosphäre gesorgt. Wir haben Eis gegessen und etwas getrunken. Alles war liebevoll angerichtet und wurde aufmerksam serviert. Man merkt, dass hier Gastfreundschaft noch gelebt wird. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt hervorragend. Ein gemütlicher Ort zum Verweilen, an den wir gerne wiederkommen. Klare Empfehlung!

direkt beim Flugplatz, ein schönes Restaurant mit großem Biergarten, es gibt Platz im Schattenund auch sonnige Plätze. Der Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir wurden herzlich empfangen und willkommen geheißen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und eine große Auswahl an gutbürgerlicher Küche. Ich würde sagen hier findet jeder was. uns hat es sehr gut gefallen und wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind kehren wir gerne wieder ein.

Wir landeten als Familie auf dem Flugplatz und kehrten in der einladenden Gaststätte mittags ein. Obwohl die Karte sehr fleischlastig war, fanden unsere Vegetarier nach kurzer Beratung durch die Kellnerin das Richtige . Die Spargelcremesuppe war übrigens die beste aller Zeiten. Preis-, Leistungsverhältnis topp. Nicht umsonst wsr das Lokal rappelvoll. Frisches Salat Buffet. Absolut empfehlenswert.

Großes Restaurant mit großer Terrasse auf der sich viel beobachten lässt. Besonders schön zum Abend hin . Vom Essen her ausreichende Portionen. Die Preise sind auch in Ordnung. Ein Spielplatz für die Kinder ist auch dabei. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Bei der Radtour hier Pause gemacht. Personal sehr nett. Viel Platz und angenehmer Aufenthalt. Liegt neben der Donau neben dem Hafen.

auf unserer gestrigen 360km Motorradtour durch Niederbayern haben wir am Flugplatz Vilshofen halt gemacht um uns zu stärken. Windig aber mit Sonnenschein haben wir die Terrasse genutzt, trotz viel Trubel wurden wir freundlich und schnell bedient und konnten unser Mittagessen in einer, für mich einzigartigen, Atmosphäre genießen: Starts- und Landungen von Sportflugzeugen, im Hintergrund die Donau mit Sportbootbetrieb mit Blick auf Vilshofen. Das Essen hat geschmeckt, zum Preis kann man nix sagen (ich find ihn absolut okay), ich hab schon teurer und günstiger gegessen, das sind aber "Luxusprobleme". Ich war bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal hier 👍

Chefin und Angstellte sehr freundlich und schnell beim bedienen. Das Essen war extrem gut und preislich absolut in Ordnung. Für Kinder gibt es draußen einen großen Spielbereich, was uns sehr gefreut hat, so konnten wir in Ruhe essen und behielten unser Kind trotzdem im Auge. Man ist direkt an der Landebahn und der Donau und hat einen tollen Blick auf alles. Kommen auf alle Fälle jetzt öfter 😊

Bei schönem Wetter tolle Terasse mit Ausblick auf die Donau. Man kann toll Start und Landung der Flugzeuge beobachten. Service schnell und nett. Essen hervorragend jedoch wenig vegetarische Auswahl. Preis Leistung gut.

Wir waren gestern beim Essen dort. Es ist absolut empfehlenswert. Der Service ist hervorragend, kaum saßen wir am Tisch wurden uns bereits die Getränke Wünsche abgenommen und wir darauf hingewiesen das wir uns am Salatbuffet bedienen dürfen. Wir ließen uns damit noch etwas Zeit. Nach 5 Minuten hatten wir unsere Getränke. Dann bestellten wir eine Suppe zur Vorspeise und unser Hauptgericht. Währenddessen holten wir uns den Salat. Den noch gar nicht ganz aufgegessen hatten wir schon unsere Suppe serviert bekommen. Diese war sehr groß und reichlich. Dann waren wir mit der Suppe fertig und erhielten umgehend unser Hauptgericht. Es schmeckte unglaublich gut. Gut bayerische Küche mit Herz sag ich da nur dazu. Insgesamt hatten wir innerhalb von 30 Minuten alles was wir bestellt hatten. Wir waren so satt, das wir noch etwas einpacken mussten. Final waren wir nach 1 Stunde komplett fertig und brachten keine Nachspeise mehr runter. Insgesamt für 2 Getränke, Salat vom Buffet für 2 Personen, 2 x Suppe und zwei Hauptgerichte bezahlten wir 55 Euro was absolut ok war. Sehr zu empfehlen und gerne jederzeit wieder. Macht weiter so!

We had lunch there yesterday. The service was very friendly. The beautifully set tables immediately created a cozy atmosphere. We felt truly welcome. Our meal was excellent. The other guests' dishes were also very tasty (I asked them). One guest who ordered the calf's liver was gushing with praise. The view from the windows overlooks the Danube River, where you can watch the freighters passing by. In short, a restaurant that I can wholeheartedly recommend!

The schnitzels served to 11 people were underseasoned and undercooked, and they also caused stomach cramps for all of us shortly afterward... ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED!!!! The other dishes were apparently fine, but the schnitzels were awful!!!

We had a delicious Sunday meal here. They also serve duck and goose, but unfortunately, the roast beef with onions was sold out. Venison goulash too. Finally, a restaurant with very good, traditional cooking, which is rare these days. For dessert, a super-fluffy, large cream cake, and Sunday was saved. By the way, the service was also very friendly and the prices very reasonable. Thank you, we'll be back.

In my opinion, a super nice, standard restaurant. The price/performance ratio is okay. But nothing special. The schnitzel was standard and a bit bland. The currywurst was a bit heavy. Great for kids. They can watch airplanes and play games or color in the kids' corner. It's also great that they have a salad buffet. Unfortunately, that's not something you see very often these days.

Nice restaurant right next to the sports airfield. Home-style cooking, side salads from the salad buffet. Attentive service. Highly recommended. If you want to sit on the terrace, a reservation is recommended.

It's exciting that you sit right at the airport with a view of the runway. The ice cream is industrial, the coffee mediocre, the food OK.

Simply amazing, especially the ambiance. We saw a fantastic air show there while we were eating. The kids loved it. Every few minutes, a small glider landed or took off. A large helicopter also took off. The food (schnitzel, currywurst, and porcini mushrooms) was delicious. The waitress was very friendly, even though it was busy and she was alone. There's a great play area for children with toys, ride-on cars, and a wooden teepee.

Simple, good food, and the beer in Bavaria is good anyway.

Very good restaurant... with delicious food and friendly staff. Beautiful terrace overlooking the Danube. Unfortunately, it was a bit chilly on Thursday, but we were able to get a seat in the dining room right away.

Always worth a little trip there. Coffee and cake, good food. Friendly service.

We were there this summer shortly before our vacation. The whole beer garden was full, and the restaurant was also very full. You've barely sat down and you've already been served with a friendliness that you have to look for far and wide. Everything went very quickly but firmly. From ordering to invoicing, it takes less than an hour and that's at full capacity. Mind you, you weren't pushed, but the process was so quick and smooth that you couldn't keep up. The food, drinks, staff and ambience were just great. We always enjoy coming back.

The atmosphere there is simply perfect for airplane fans. On the terrace you can watch the take-off and landing processes and see many great aircraft. We weren't so impressed with the food there. We had the airport plate for €15.90 each. If the meat hadn't been so tough that it was almost impossible to handle it with the cutlery available, in my opinion the meal would have been worth just €12. The side salad consisted entirely of pickled preserves apart from cucumber slices and lettuce leaves, but the potato salad was great. For just under €16, I expect a dish that is better than what I get at home. And I'm not a professional.

We arrived with a small group of motorcycles of 7 people, we were told they had no room for us, even though ice started to rain lightly, they sent us away again 5 minutes later it was raining heavily, not recommended, I'll never come back

Sehr freundliches Personal, ruhige Lage. Schlechte Anbindung an öffentliche Verkehrsmittel und in den noch nicht renovierten Zimmern ohne Insektenschutzfenster ist es nicht sehr angenehm. Waren aber trotzdem sehr zufrieden.

The restaurant is on the other side of the Danube from Vilshofen. It's definitely worth taking the short route over the bridge! Very nice terrace and, in my opinion, the best price/performance ratio in the area. Very tasty food, open all day and very friendly service.

We didn't eat anything extra, but there was an extra line in the purchase receipt with "Food Miscellaneous" for 11 euros with a few cents The waitress automatically typed this in and I think this tip was too much. That's very sad. This also means a tip... Unfortunately I looked at my receipt too late. Otherwise there is a beautiful view of the Danube

Stopped in for 12 people with 9 dogs on Sunday lunchtime. Everyone was very happy with their chosen meal, service was quick and very friendly, we will definitely come back again.

We got a place here on a public holiday, despite a lot of visitors and without a reservation. The service was quick and friendly. Our order, deer goulash with bread dumplings and Vilshofen airfield plate, was awesome. I haven't eaten this good and a sufficiently large portion for a long time. We will stop here again when we are at the motorhome parking space again. This restaurant, with a terrace, is definitely highly recommended.
