A hidden gem. Came in looking for a quick snack because a Biergarten nearby was closed; instead, received one of the best culinary experiences I've had in the area. Good food cooked from quality ingredients, unlike many restaurants that try to save every last penny on food cost, and still a reasonable price. You don't have to enter the pool to eat here. The bartender was very nice to make a "babychino" (frothed warm milk) for our toddler, even though it definitely was not on the menu. 7 stars.

An evening with mixed impressions in the “Master Lamp”… We were really looking forward to celebrating her birthday here at our mother's request. However, the evening left me with mixed feelings that I would like to share. At the beginning we noticed the remarkable presence of the boss - a personality that is quite polarizing. His demeanor could be described as self-confident. In some moments, however, one would have wished for a slightly more approachable attitude. An example of this was the reception: the boss politely but very firmly insisted on taking our clothes, which was certainly meant as a service. Likewise, a small congratulation on the occasion of the birthday (which we had mentioned when making the reservation) could certainly have added a personal touch - unfortunately the warmth fell by the wayside here. A small faux pas happened with the wine pairing: different red wines were poured into the same glass, with the charming explanation that the second wine was stronger anyway. This can certainly be a stylistic device, although we would have found it more valuable to use different glasses in a wine series. As for the food, it can be said that it was good and carefully prepared. The dishes were solid and tasty, but without reaching a level that would justify the somewhat distant service. In conclusion, it remains to be said that the “Meister Lamp” is a restaurant with history and character. For us personally, however, it has become clear that it is not just the quality of the cuisine that is important, but also the atmosphere and the feeling of being welcome. Unfortunately, we were missing the latter, which we regret very much, as the “rabbit” was a fixture in our family for years. .

Nice hosts and good food in a traditional atmosphere. The onion roast is recommended.

Unsere hohen Erwartungen wurden nicht wirklich erfüllt. Der Rostbraten wurde als der beste angepriesen, den wir je hatten. Nun, davon war das durchwachsene Stück Fleisch mit viel zu wenig Zwiebeln und die in Fett schwimmenden Bratkartoffeln leider meilenweit entfernt. Sehr gut waren die Vorspeisen. Bei denen passt auch das Preis-Leistung-Verhältnis. Den Service haben wir als nicht besonders aufmerksam empfunden, teilweise waren die Wartezeiten sehr lang. Wir hatten leider auch einen sehr ungemütlichen Tisch erwischt, bei dem wir so weit auseinander saßen, dass ein Gespräch kaum geführt werden konnte.

The name says it all. If you want old-fashioned German food, this is the place for you, delicious food for a small price. There is also a small bar, but that goes well together.

You can have a good time, for example, during a lunch break.

Ein sehr angenehmes Restaurant mit freundlicher, zuvorkommender Bedienung. Hier kann man sich richtig wohlfühlen. Das Essen ist sehr schmackhaft, lediglich die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte könnte etwas umfangreicher sein. Ich kann dieses Lokal uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

We ate here on the way back from Stuttgart. Very tasty and well attended even during the week. We only found the cake quite expensive.

We wanted to go out for a nice meal today, but first we walked with the dog. When we got back to the car we had a nice note asking us not to park here anymore because this was a private parking lot. This meant there was no need to eat at the Reiterstüble in Botnang. You've heard from many people that dogs aren't welcome. Unfortunately, you can't give minus points here. 5 stars minus from me.

Delicious Swabian home cooking in the living room. Cry well. GoSecco is super delicious. Always nice guests and conversations. Great service. Good value for money.

For just under €30 I chose the zander fillet with leek and triplet potatoes. What I got was extremely manageable to say the least. Three pieces of fish were served lukewarm and not very appealing. So not recommended. The open wines, on the other hand, are affordable.
