Very good food. Mega hospitable. When the weather is nice it's also nice to sit outside. Price performance is very good. We always enjoy going there

Die Bewertung bezieht sich auf einen Besuch aus Dezember 2022. Ein tolles Lokal mitten im Schwarzwald, üppige Portionen (bei großem Hunger auch Kilosteaks sehr zu empfehlen!) und die besten Spätzle die ich jemals gegessen habe. Wir wären bei unserem nächsten Urlaub im Schwarzwald gerne wieder gekommen, leider ist das dann nicht mehr möglich. Trotzdem vielen Dank für das tolle Essen und den Service!

Ein solides Restaurant mit freundlichem Empfang und gutem Essen. Geschmacklich absolut in Ordnung, allerdings sind die Preise – besonders für die Getränke – recht hoch, und die Portionen könnten größer sein. Der Service war okay, auch wenn die Verabschiedung etwas herzlicher hätte sein können. Wer bereit ist, etwas mehr auszugeben, kann hier dennoch einen guten Abend verbringen

Ate there for the first time and was totally disappointed. Overpriced, too long waiting times to get the menu, food, etc. When the food came, a salad was simply brought to one of several dishes that wasn't ordered. Mushrooms were served instead of apples with the pork fillet and only once was there a request for new drinks. The innkeeper prefers to talk to other guests rather than looking after larger groups. Bad service never again

Completely disappointing experience. Poor quality and completely exorbitant prices. Small portions. Not recommended.

Absolutely recommended!! A super good price-performance ratio! We hiked the Neckarsteig and were so well received. Even though it is an old building, our room with a renovated bathroom was completely sufficient, even with a small terrace where we sat down for the time being. Everything very clean. The food in the evening was delicious, as was the breakfast, plentiful and with everything that went with it. The friendly innkeeper rounded everything off even more. What more could you want?
