I was only there for one night. The reception was very nice and friendly. The rooms are very large and clean. There's a small kitchen and a bathroom with a tub. Breakfast is put in the fridge in the evening. It's good. I like to have breakfast in the morning before I go to the office. The restaurant is beautifully quiet in the forest.

Here you will find good German home cooking. Food like nuts.

Very nice, home-style restaurant. Eat like your mother or grandma would :-) The decor is rustic, but it absolutely suits the White Horse! There is apple wine made by the owner! The lunch specials (fried fish on Fridays are highly recommended) are also great. Update 2025 - Unfortunately, it must now be said that the service has deteriorated significantly. The restaurant is "full" and you are asked to pay slowly around 8:30 p.m. because you want to close. On days when everyone thought - "hey there must be a restaurant open..." ... White Ross - too :-( It's a shame - the food and drinks are still top - no question about it! We have to work hard again to have and keep guests!

We came here more by chance. A very friendly welcome was followed by equally very friendly service. The sumptuous dishes taste very good and are lovingly prepared. What more could you want!

Absolutely fantastic restaurant, beautifully decorated, delicious food, and friendly waitresses! Everything's perfect? ​​Why? Actually? I'll explain: 1. During our visit, there was a very limited menu with only seven dishes. This was explained by the fact that the chef wasn't there. We didn't know this when we made the reservation and would have liked at least a bit more choice. 2. Since the prices are quite reasonable, the portions are probably a bit smaller. None of us were really full – a colleague ordered the same portion again after dinner and managed to finish it and dessert. Maybe you should make the food a bit more expensive, but put more on the plate? Overall, though, it was still very positive and a lovely restaurant!
