Top restaurant! No frills! Here the guest counts!!!! Very nice service, a nice view on the terrace to relax. If there is no more space, a solution will be found. The food is good and deserves 5 stars. One of my favorite places in Marburg.

Very good. Small menu, everything fresh

In der „Rinderstall Alm“ ist die Zeit stehen geblieben. Im antiken, rustikalen Ambiente wird eine sehr simple Küche ohne jegliche Raffinessen geboten. Positiv zu erwähnen ist, dass immerhin vegetarische Gerichte auf der Speisekarte zu finden sind. Vegane Optionen fehlen. Allerdings ist die Küche flexibel und passt Gerichte auf Wunsch individuell an. Kulinarische Ausrichtung ist äußerst schlicht und, aus subjektiver Sicht, wenig wenig kreativ: Reibekuchen, Brezel, ein Salat, Käsespätzle, Pommes und als Desserts Waffeln, Eis und Kuchen. Gerichte, dich sich ohne großen Aufwand auch zu Hause an einem stressigen Wochentag zubereiten lassen. Wer ein gastronomisches Erlebnis sucht, wird hier nicht glücklich. Für mich fehlt daher der kulinarische Anreiz für Folgebesuche, denn ein Restaurantbesuch sollte etwas Außergewöhnliches bieten und nicht 0815-Gerichte. Geschmacklich sind die Speisen solide, es mangelt an Raffinesse und Überraschungen. Gleiches bei der Präsentation. Zutaten sind immerhin frisch. Portionsgrößen akzeptabel und die Preise günstig, was angesichts der simplen Küche angemessen ist. Einen Cent teurer darf es auch nicht sein. Auch im Bereich alkoholfreier Getränke zeigt sich wenig Innovation. Das Angebot beschränkt sich auf gängige Standardoptionen wie Wasser, Softdrinks, Säfte und Schorlen daraus. Das rustikale, antike Ambiente ist Geschmackssache, lädt mich persönlich jedoch nicht zum Verweilen ein. Service hingegen ist lobenswert: freundlich und aufmerksam. Zusammengefasst bleibt die „Rinderstall Alm“ ein Lokal für Liebhaber der einfachen Hausmannskost. Wer eine moderne, raffinierte Küche bevorzugt, wird hier nicht fündig.

Super nice hotel & great service! Everything went great.

The food was delicious, the tables were very lovingly set. The staff is very friendly.

We went to the stork's nest for the first time (as a couple) during Valentine's week and were absolutely thrilled. Reservation by telephone with the boss and cook personally went very well and personably. Welcome in the guest room by his wife was just as friendly and warm. Nice ambience, not over the top, but very cozy, bright, good acoustics. But for food. We opted for the “menu for two”. Goose ribs with spelled veal guette, lobster cream soup, Chateaubriand with Bearnaise sauce and Crêpes Suzette. Before that, a Kir and a Lillet with a few little things as an aperitif. We also ordered a portion of scallops and were happy to share them and prepare them wonderfully. All food and drinks were without exception delicious, some of them blew us away (shout out to the mussels and beef) and were of very good quality. The service from the Krück couple was courteous and warm. All in all we paid around €200 A great evening that we will repeat soon for my birthday. In any case, we were so convinced that I wrote to the Michelin Guide and recommended the restaurant to try out so that it could at least be included as a recommendation or for a Bib Gourmand.

The food was excellent and the portion size was right. The innkeeper is very friendly, has a good feel for his guests and is attentive. I would be happy to come here again. The terrace also invites you to sit outside in summer. Everything is very clean. I thought it was great

Simply good! We were at Carls 3 times, 3 times it was very good. Starter, main course and wine list are excellent. Service is super attentive and discreet. The dessert falls off easily.

Nice location in a good location. Enough tables or space outside. The staff is friendly. Unfortunately payment is only possible in cash, welcome to 2024.

Rustic, typical German restaurant.

Es gibt bedauerlicherweise immer weniger gute Restaurants in Bad Vilbel. Auch Kreilingshöfchen hat leider sehr an Qualität und Geschmack abgenommen, dafür aber die Preise massiv nach oben korrigiert (1 1/2 Kartoffeln mit gedünstetem Gemüse fast 15€!!!) und doppelt so viele Tische auf Kosten der Gemütlichkeit platziert. Sehr schade! Wir kommen nicht mehr und informieren auch unsere Freunde und Bekannten lieber woanders hinzugehen.
