What a beautiful, sunny autumn day sitting outside again. The food was delicious. The owner and the staff were great. It was my first visit, but definitely not my last.

A small, fine restaurant with huge portions and super delicious food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It's a bit hidden, but it's all the more recommendable.

Was there again today after a long time, the service was very quick, we had barely sat down and the menu was ready and after 2 minutes she was there to take our order, we had two Hubert's plates: wild bratwurst and wild Leverkusen with potatoes and "side dishes" salad, the meat, the potatoes, the quark, everything was super tasty, the pear with cranberries is supposed to be tasty too because I gave mine to my colleague, the "salad" only consisted of finely chopped, unseasoned vegetables which were more of a decoration than a salad. Nevertheless, it was tasty, good value for money, friendly and very quick service.

A dream, I tell you. We discovered it entirely by chance and were thrilled. By everything!

I visited the "Alm" for the first time today, and I was really pleasantly surprised by the atmosphere. I found the beer garden incredibly cozy and quaint. It's nothing compared to the other Alm a few kilometers away. At least there's flair and comfort here. I'll just say, see you soon🖐

A good restaurant if you're on your way to the Czech Republic. Not far from the highway, yet you don't even notice it. You're surrounded by nature. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The service was also very friendly. There were even bowls of water for the dog.

A Bavarian beer garden in the heart of the Lower Saxony forest, beautifully situated for a bike ride or hike. We went there twice in one day because we enjoyed it so much: a wild herb salad for lunch, and knuckle of pork and bratwurst for dinner. The beer garden with gravel and trees is perfect for a hot day. The food is excellent, we received a friendly and warm welcome, and the service is perfect. You can't ask for more. We'll be back...

The restaurant is secluded and quiet in the middle of the forest. A very beautiful location. The service was fine. We had schnitzel and cheese spaetzle. The fried potatoes were no longer crispy, instead quite greasy, the schnitzel was also in the pan a bit too long in my opinion and it could have been served with a bit more sauce. The cheese spaetzle could have done with a bit more strong cheese, but it was a large portion of cheese spaetzle. The side salads were good. Everything tasted delicious, but there is still room for improvement. The beer was tasty and there is plenty of parking.

The Rinderstall forest restaurant is highly recommended. We haven't been there in a while, but we were surprised by how pleasant it was. The food was delicious. The service is very friendly. The atmosphere is simply fantastic when the weather is right. Unfortunately, I can't comment on what it's like inside, but I assume it's okay.

👍 We walked up from home (near Hann. Münden station). Was very nice. I find the cattle stable very comfortable. Good range of food and drinks. Price performance is good. It's also a bit of a childhood memory. Been there many times with my parents 40 years ago 🥰

We went to the Alm for Easter brunch today. The food was very tasty and there was plenty of choice. I particularly liked the game goulash. The service was attentive and friendly, even in the somewhat more stressful phase. The ambience is exactly what I expect from a forest restaurant. All in all: everything is great!

Unfortunately, my wife and her friend were turned away for coffee because all the seats were reserved. There was no one there!!! And in front of the shop there was a sign saying "Welcome, dear?" That's the last straw!!! Well, that means a few fewer customers. There are restaurants that would love to have guests, but under the circumstances, not us.!!!

Unfortunately, we've already found the doors closed three times because the opening hours on the website are apparently never correct! Sometimes it says closed for training, sometimes for vacation, etc.

We ordered two venison dishes. The service was very good, and the food was delicious. The dining room is rather rustically decorated. We liked it. The only downside is that it's a bit out of the way. Nevertheless, we were very satisfied.

We had ribs. It was SOOOOOOO delicious. Buttery tender meat, super tasty sides, and even dessert. The entire staff was so kind and always had a funny saying for us. We're thrilled and will definitely be coming back more often.

It's a shame, actually very nice with rustic cuisine. Potato pancakes were really homemade and delicious. However, not recommended as an event, there are no answers to reservation requests, I would have loved to go to the Schlachte dinner with over 10 people - asked several times via the homepage, received no answers. Therefore only 2 stars.

Beautifully situated in the middle of the forest, it's the perfect place for a walk, hike, or bike ride. A beer garden when it's warm, otherwise a rustic interior. The homemade sausage (including home-made game) is highly recommended.

“Rinderstall Alm” offers an equally “traditional”, down-to-earth, simple cuisine in an antique-rustic ambience. Fortunately, there are a few vegetarian options on the menu - vegan dishes are completely missing. What should be noted on a positive note, however, is that the kitchen responds flexibly to individual wishes. The food selection is generally very simple, too simple for my subjective taste: potato pancakes, pretzels, salad, cheese spaetzle, fries and, as dessert, ice cream, waffles or cake. All dishes that can be easily prepared at home without much effort, even on more stressful days. Anyone looking for something special when eating out will be disappointed here. From a subjective point of view, there is no culinary appeal for subsequent visits, as in my opinion a visit to a restaurant should be an experience - unfortunately that is not what is offered here. Solid in taste, without any sophistication. At least the ingredients are fresh. Food presentation old-fashioned and unspectacular. The portion sizes are reasonable and the prices remain low in keeping with the simple cuisine - you shouldn't charge for this either. Standard range of non-alcoholic drinks: water, soft drinks, juices and spritzers made from them. No creative drinks. Overall, I think that even as an excursion restaurant you can trust day-trippers with a little more sophistication and culinary creativity.

In der „Rinderstall Alm“ ist die Zeit stehen geblieben. Im antiken, rustikalen Ambiente wird eine sehr simple Küche ohne jegliche Raffinessen geboten. Positiv zu erwähnen ist, dass immerhin vegetarische Gerichte auf der Speisekarte zu finden sind. Vegane Optionen fehlen. Allerdings ist die Küche flexibel und passt Gerichte auf Wunsch individuell an. Kulinarische Ausrichtung ist äußerst schlicht und, aus subjektiver Sicht, wenig wenig kreativ: Reibekuchen, Brezel, ein Salat, Käsespätzle, Pommes und als Desserts Waffeln, Eis und Kuchen. Gerichte, dich sich ohne großen Aufwand auch zu Hause an einem stressigen Wochentag zubereiten lassen. Wer ein gastronomisches Erlebnis sucht, wird hier nicht glücklich. Für mich fehlt daher der kulinarische Anreiz für Folgebesuche, denn ein Restaurantbesuch sollte etwas Außergewöhnliches bieten und nicht 0815-Gerichte. Geschmacklich sind die Speisen solide, es mangelt an Raffinesse und Überraschungen. Gleiches bei der Präsentation. Zutaten sind immerhin frisch. Portionsgrößen akzeptabel und die Preise günstig, was angesichts der simplen Küche angemessen ist. Einen Cent teurer darf es auch nicht sein. Auch im Bereich alkoholfreier Getränke zeigt sich wenig Innovation. Das Angebot beschränkt sich auf gängige Standardoptionen wie Wasser, Softdrinks, Säfte und Schorlen daraus. Das rustikale, antike Ambiente ist Geschmackssache, lädt mich persönlich jedoch nicht zum Verweilen ein. Service hingegen ist lobenswert: freundlich und aufmerksam. Zusammengefasst bleibt die „Rinderstall Alm“ ein Lokal für Liebhaber der einfachen Hausmannskost. Wer eine moderne, raffinierte Küche bevorzugt, wird hier nicht fündig.

Es war ein Versuch wert. Aber eine schlechte Empfehlung. Ein Laden, der etwas 1961 stehen geblieben ist. Hausmannskost, die nichts Besonderes ist. So ein Schnitzel gibt es in jeder Pommes Bude - nur schmackhafter

It's very disappointing when you make the trip to the Rinderstall Alm during regular opening hours and find everything locked and barred. This shouldn't happen, and if something important happens, it should be noted on the website and in Google Maps! There's no excuse for this. What a shame ☹️!!!

Unfortunately, we couldn't sit outside due to the weather, but the beer garden is very nice. The potato pancakes were amazing, and many restaurants could wish for better service. We'll be back.

A very nice cafe, in the middle of the forest! There was also a game reserve back then, but that hasn't been there for a few years, which is a shame! The food and coffee were delicious! Unfortunately the staff was quite overwhelmed, it took a long time until coffee and cake were brought! Still, it was very nice!

Nice location with super delicious food, but unfortunately very inflexible in the composition of the dishes. Deviations from the menu, for example the home-made bratwurst with fries instead of mashed potatoes, are not possible, hence the 3 stars for the service. The service staff is top!

Truly worth a detour: an idyllic forest lodge in the middle of the forest, with a small but fine menu and reasonable prices. The path leads uphill for a good kilometer along a forest road. The dining room is quaint, the service very pleasant, and we enjoyed the food.

Last weekend, we visited the Rinderstall Alm for the first time for the butcher's meal. Aside from the harmonious, rustic atmosphere, the food was truly excellent. From classic snacks to traditional bread rolls and kale with a delicious slice of smoked pork, there was a good selection on offer. Kudos to the chef and, of course, to the lady of the house, who, with her friendly and cheerful manner, provided us with drinks and conversation. We'd be happy to return there again when the opportunity arises. Highly recommended.

A restaurant somewhere in the middle of nowhere I came across this great restaurant by chance with my grandma today. We were both completely thrilled. A really great insider tip 👍🏼 My grandma raved about the delicious goulash soup for the rest of the trip (to Lake Constance) 😊

Schlachteesen buffet Our first visit to Rinderstall Alm and certainly not the last. The buffet fully met our expectations. The Ahle sausage was extremely delicious ;-) All dishes were prepared according to the motto, were available at any time and were very tasty. The service was great - thank you for the liquor! It's great that there are still such friendly restaurateurs.

Ich besuchte die Rinderstall Alm mit einer Wandergruppe. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, ja herzlich und aufmerksam. Das Essen, eine kleine Karte, passend zu einer Waldgaststätte, war gut. Auch das Ambiente gefiel mir sehr. Ich hätte mich über ein Sitzpolster auf meinem Kaffeehausstuhl gefreut. Aber das ist eine Kleinigkeit, die nicht wirklich stört. Das Highlight sind die selbtgebackenen Kekse, die es zum Kaffee gibt. Einfach super. Habe ich sonst noch nie in dieser Qualität bekommen.

Waren heute, 16.07.23 mittags dort. Obwohl die Anzahl der Besucher nicht so gross war und sich 3 Damen um den Service kümmerten haben wir 15 Minuten auf die Speisekarte warten müssen. Personal offenbar überfordert. Currywurst war kalt; Schnitzel lauwarm. Nach Reklamation kam der Koch unwirtschaftlich aus der Küche und holte die Teller weg. Nach knapp 10 Minuten wurden die Teller zurückgebracht. Fleisch u. Wurst waren jetzt warm. Schnitzel war zäh und nicht frisch gebraten. War vorgebraten und nur aufgewärmt. Wir waren ziemlich enttäuscht und werden dort nicht wieder hingehen.

Wir waren dort zu einer privaten Veranstaltung mit Kaffee und Kuchen, deswegen kann ich zum Essen nix sagen. Service war top und das Ambiente ist wunderschön. Viele schattige Plätze im Biergarten.

Schöner Biergarten, in idyllischer Lage, der den Radfahrern und Wanderlustigen allerhand zu bieten hat!!!

Waren heute zum ersten mal dort essen. Wir haben Hausgemachte Käsebratwurst mit Kartoffelchips und Kräuterquark und Käsespätzle mit Röstzwiebeln gegessen einfach lecker. Der Preis stimmt zu 100 Prozent. Freundliche Bedienung. Würden immer wieder hin gehen.

Die Rinderstall Alm ist ein sehr schönes Ausflugslokal im Wald. Leckeres Essen und freundliche Bedienungen laden zum pausieren auf einer Wanderung rund um den Steinberg ein.

Der Außenbereich wurde jetzt sehr schön gestaltet. Gegen die Sommerhitze gibt es schattige Plätze und für die Kinder einen schönen Spielplatz. Die Bedienung war freundlich. Ein Stern für den Erbeerkuchen.Einfrieren und auftauen verträgt sich nicht. Die Qualität der Speisen meiner Tischnachbarn hatte auch noch viel Luft nach oben, für eine gute Bewertung! Ich wünsche dem Team alles Gute und hoffe auf einen positiven Trend.

Super! Wir waren am Pfingstsonntag dort zum Mittagessen. Es war sehr viel los aber die Bedienung hat uns trotz dessen schnell und kompetent bedient. Jeder war super nett und die Live Musik hat zum Ambiente gepasst. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wieder kommen, nicht zuletzt aufgrund des leckern Essens 🤩.

Optimaler Start- und Endpunkt für Wanderungen. Schöner gemütlicher Biergarten. Schon die Begrüßung war sehr herzlich. Der freundliche Service geht mit einer vielfältigen Speisekarte, einer guten Küche und einem angemessenen Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Allgäuer Büble Bier im Ausschank. Werden auf jeden Fall wieder hingehen und freuen uns schon darauf.

Kaffee und Kuchen oder frische Waffeln genießen, das Bier vom Fass und Essen war auch gut. Alles zu moderaten Preisen bei sehr freundlicher Bedienung! Hunde erlaubt :-)
