The food is great and the owners are super friendly, really great and when I read stupid comments, food takes too long or others have to wait 15 minutes, not enough seasoning then cooks it yourself
We went there for the first time because it was very tasty, the service was very nice and the prices were more than reasonable
So always happy wasn't the last time I ate there 👍
A very outdated restaurant. I actually wanted to go back straight away, but we gave it a chance and ate something, but left straight after, going out for a nice meal is different.
If you want to eat delicious duck with fresh vegetables again, you should do so now. In the summer it's over, retirement.
We had very fresh, baked wontons - crispy and savory filled. Then 2 different ducks with fresh vegetables and great sauces.
Plus a nice, cozy time with very lovely service. It was a beautiful evening. Thanks
Nice snack bar with a simple and authentic Asian snack flair, good price-performance ratio.
The menu offers plenty of choice...
My dish tasted good. For my taste, far away from the traditional, aromatic, exotic, Asian cuisine with its ingredients and the play of spiciness, acidity and typical spices, but okay for the average "German" Asian snack...
Even if it says "spicy" on the menu and you ask for a "very" spicy meal when you order, you get a meal that was prepared without any noticeable spiciness, probably because none of the typical ingredients that are in the description are included (lemongrass etc...)
So average Asian snack with ingredients from the discounter... it's quick, tastes good but doesn't have any "addictive factor" for me...
If you want to be full and prefer something definitely healthier than fries, schnitzel, currywurst and the like, you can get decent food here... friendly service and fair prices...
Anyone who is familiar with Asian food from the food stalls in Asia will eat here, as with almost every Asian snack bar in Germany, without any profound enthusiasm....
In my humble opinion, the best Asian restaurant around!
Very, very tasty, inexpensive and friendly, not the run-of-the-mill stuff that you unfortunately find in many other places.
The vegan Thai dishes are a dream and the portions are more than large.
Hopefully this institution will stay here for a long time! ❤️
I had C12 the duck with noodles. That was the best duck I've ever eaten. Incredibly juicy and crispy. The service was also very friendly. Next time I'll order 2 straight away because one just wasn't enough.
Now re-opened as Yoko
5 star sushi
- very fresh… it was so good i did not use much soy/wasabi as the naked sushi flavor was outstanding.
- wasabi / soy / ginger - great quality
Great service
Would give 4.5 vs 5 stars due to music & flowers on table / too many plants.
RECOMMEND:
- change music channel (or make a playlist) and remove flowers from tables.
Music & flowers don’t match style / food.
- add some light to Japanese lamps outside so can tell when restaurant is open… it seems a common theme in germany where stores make it hard to tell if they are open or not (hard to see inside / no lights outside).
We eat here regularly. It's a great place, whether you're celebrating with the whole family or you're just too lazy to cook and want a quick meal for two.
