The food is great, with good value for money. Since there are only two people running it, you need a little patience until the food is on the table. But it's worth the wait.
Delivery: Summer rolls with duck were somewhat ok. The duck itself was dry!
Udon noodles with duck were a disaster. The duck was totally fatty and somehow the fat in the duck was also like a paste. The crust of the duck was also just soaked in fat. I really like Asian food and I'm also resilient, but I've never experienced anything like this!!!
I have no idea why the store has a 4.6 star rating! Maybe I was just unlucky???
Portions but large…at least
The restaurant offers very tasty Asian cuisine with a large and varied menu. The dishes are not exceptional, but the quality stands out from many other Asian restaurants. Particularly positive: A delivery service has recently been added. I hope the restaurant stays around for a long time!
Update 2025: The quality of the food remains good, even if the portions have now become smaller - but they are still enough to fill you up. Unfortunately, service has decreased and waiting times are now significantly longer. That spoils the overall impression a little, but the food is still worth a visit
Great sushi and even better service! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff was welcoming and attentive. All in all, a perfect price for an excellent experience – highly recommended!
We had a spontaneous meal there last night and felt very comfortable. The food & drinks were really delicious, good portions and a super nice boss. Gladly again !
Note: Allergy sufferers should be careful, as the rice is mixed with chopped peanuts by default - even if no peanut sauce is included in the dish. This is also evident from the menu. Of course you can also ask whether this is possible without the addition.
I ordered rice with vegetables and baked chicken to take away. From my point of view, my mango sauce was more of a classic peanut sauce - quite tasty, but I missed a mango taste or the typical yellowish appearance, even if it appears that way in the photo.
The vegetables were fresh and plentiful, as was the entire portion of meat and rice. The quantity was a bit too large for my taste, but that's usually the case with Asians. In terms of taste, I expected a little more because it was a little more expensive than similar offerings in Jena at the moment and the restaurant itself isn't a visual highlight. I missed the special kick, like fresh herbs like coriander, lemongrass or similar. I would have liked to have given up a few pieces of meat for this. At home, however, they said that it didn't taste as extremely artificial as it sometimes does with Asian food. That's true too.
The chicken was pounded very thin, making it slightly dry. Overall the food was good. It is difficult to judge whether the slightly higher price of around two euros per dish is justified or is due to inflation.
The service was very friendly.
The entrance is now secured with a curtain in winter to protect against drafts. When I picked up the food at lunchtime, the restaurant was empty. There was an unpleasant smell in the entrance area, but it was no longer noticeable at the counter.
I would order there again.
