Sushi Bar Hoshi in Saarbrücken

Now re-opened as Yoko 5 star sushi - very fresh… it was so good i did not use much soy/wasabi as the naked sushi flavor was outstanding. - wasabi / soy / ginger - great quality Great service Would give 4.5 vs 5 stars due to music & flowers on table / too many plants. RECOMMEND: - change music channel (or make a playlist) and remove flowers from tables. Music & flowers don’t match style / food. - add some light to Japanese lamps outside so can tell when restaurant is open… it seems a common theme in germany where stores make it hard to tell if they are open or not (hard to see inside / no lights outside).

We were the only ones in the restaurant (during the city festival) and were therefore almost surprised at how good the food was. We found everything very good!

It's not authentic Japanese food, but it's very good and very enjoyable. We had a lovely time as a family, and the children loved it!

I was there recently with a few friends, and everyone was very impressed. Very tasty food and generous portions. The sushi was also fresh and tasty. I was completely delighted and full. 😊

At first, we were a little unsure whether to sit in the restaurant, as we'd noticed once again that it wasn't very busy. We decided to go, and we made the right decision. The service was very courteous, attentive, and friendly. The sushi was prepared fresh, practically in front of you, and was ready in minutes. I'm no Japanese expert, like several reviewers before me, but I'm very satisfied with the taste. It was delicious. And the price was significantly cheaper than comparable sushi restaurants. The ambiance is always up for debate, but it was quiet and pleasant for a big city on a Saturday. We'll definitely be back.
