China-Thai Bistro in Saarbrücken

Yesterday we ordered five dishes for pickup. Unfortunately, none of them liked them; some were completely tasteless and extremely greasy. We wanted to give the place a second chance, but sadly, it was no use. "You used to be able to eat really well here," but sadly, those days are gone.

Yesterday, we were at the Chinese bistro with four adults and four children, and unfortunately, it was another very disappointing experience. Upon entering, we were greeted rudely and with a dismissive stare by the owner. When we politely inquired whether there was a table available, we received a sharp and impolite reply. Even after we were seated, we were again asked in an unfriendly tone whether we wanted to eat in or take the food away – and this was in front of other guests. Overall, we felt that families with children are not welcome there. A greeting, courtesy, or even a simple "welcome" or "goodbye" doesn't seem to be a given. In the end, we were practically forced out. We felt so uncomfortable that we left – and the staff didn't seem to care at all. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time we've been treated this way. We do not recommend this restaurant.

An absolute nightmare of a restaurant visit. We were there as a family (two adults, two children) hoping to enjoy a quiet meal. But as soon as we walked in, the owner greeted us with eye-rolling and an extremely annoyed demeanor. Instead of normal hospitality, we were immediately asked if we wanted "takeout only"—as if we were unwelcome. When she brought the drinks, she spilled the entire Coke all over my pants. No apology, no expression of regret. Her daughter brought me paper towels so I could dry my completely soaked pants. But then the unbelievable happened: The owner aggressively snatched the paper towels from my hand, yelled at me that they were "way too expensive," and treated me as if I had done something wrong. Being yelled at like that in front of my children and other customers was simply disrespectful, shameful, and embarrassing. We stood up in shock and left. Such rudeness, such disrespect... Absolutely never again.

Ordered and picked up food there for the first time. Very friendly on the phone and during pickup. The ambiance was appealing and well-maintained. The food was absolutely delicious. I'll definitely be back 👍

The ambiance is rather plain and simple. But that doesn't make the food any less than it should be. The food is excellent. I come here again and again, or pick up my food here. Very reliable and always good.

Difficult to find, but I really recommend it. Very warm welcome despite the difficulty of the language for me.

A great little bistro with super delicious food! The dishes are freshly prepared and have an authentic flavor—you can tell the love goes into cooking here. The service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant. The Thai dishes, in particular, are a delight! If you like Asian cuisine, you should definitely try the China Thai Bistro. Highly recommended!

Eating ok sometimes well, the problem is, we ordered WATER, the woman made COLA, then we said that we ordered WATER! The woman asked if COLA was ok???!!!! NO, we want WATER, but we still didn't get WATER, we only got SODA. The woman wasn't particularly friendly either. If I order something and pay for it, then I want to get what I ordered and paid for!

Such an outrageous thing! We ordered food and picked it up when we got home we realized that once again we didn't get what we ordered. So I went back with my food to get the right food. There I had to be told in such an unfriendly manner that we had ordered it that way and if I want what I actually ordered I should now pay €2 on top. It was great that I once again had twice the journey and fuel costs. We will never eat there again that's not how you treat your customers!!!! They lost us as regular customers because of this behavior!

Unfriendly staff. It's normal that a mistake can happen (but it shouldn't happen anyway), but if you go back and point out the mistake to the boss, you can expect an insight and a freshly prepared meal. She wanted €2 more because the pasta instead of rice was more expensive. Absolute impudence and that's not how you treat customers. Been a regular customer there for a good 14 years. I had dinner at this restaurant with my wife. We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table. My wife was amazed at the ambience in the restaurant as in typical Asian restaurants there is usually a lack of effort when it comes to decoration. However, here she was very happy with how the restaurant was designed because it made us feel comfortable. The food is pretty tasty too. It was freshly cooked and I personally felt love in the kitchen. On the whole, the restaurant is highly recommended for couples and families, but single guests are also well served. So recommended

This was the worst food I have ever eaten so far 3 forks and then thrown away sweet and sour duck with a slice of pineapple on top of the meat noodle cost extra and were cheap German food sauce was probably from the package and this had nothing to do with Tai or China just do badly

In terms of taste, the food is ok - the portion size - whether it's meat, vegetables or a side dish of rice - unfortunately varies often. As is usual with Asian restaurants, everything is always freshly prepared. What is not possible these days, however, is if you have to complain about something on site or over the phone (which unfortunately has happened once or twice). Then the boss gets very loud or even likes to hang up! Something like that doesn't work at all.

Essen ,Ente trocken und Soße wie Wasser,bitte den Reis auch mit Soße, natürlich mache ich ,Essen ausgepackt Reis trocken. War seit langer Zeit mal wieder ein Versuch, aber hatt sich erledigt, in Zukunft gehts wieder nach Luisenthal

Wenn man sich als Gemüse Fan ein buntes Gemüse Allerlei wünscht, ist man hier leider schlecht beraten. Zumindest bei Bestellungen, die man abholt. Das war mal anders und macht das Essen geschmacklich etwas fade. Sogar eine Extra Portion 'Gemüse als Beilage' enthält überwiegend Sprossen, etwas Kohl und wenig Karotten. Sehr schade.

Erstes Mal dort vor Ort bestellt zum Mitnehmen. Wartezeit für einen Wochenendabend mit Hochbetrieb völlig okay, hätte ja auch vorbestellen können. Bei den Frühlingsrollen fehlte leider die Sauce, die Erdnuss-Sauce zum Hauptgericht war sehr wässrig und das Gemüsebett bestand zum Großteil nur aus Chinakohl und/oder Eisbergsalat. Gegrilltes Hähnchenfleisch und der Reis waren optimal und sehr großzügig portioniert. Werde es auf jeden Fall nochmal testen und ggf. die Bewertung anpassen 👍

Zurzeit hat es wegen Umbau geschlossen. Davor waren wir jedoch seit Jahren immer mal wieder dort. Jedoch hat die Freundlichkeit schwer nachgelassen. Auch habe Ich des öfteren nach Suppe gefragt, die auf der Karte steht. Immer hieß es" haben wir heute nicht". Das ist jetzt kein Drama, aber nach dem letzten Besuch werden wir nicht mehr kommen. Man wollte uns für 2 Gerichte nur 1 Soße geben, das würde ja reichen. Wenn Ich 2 Gerichte zahle, dann hätte Ich auch gerne 2 Soßen. Ich musste nun wegen einer Soße ewig diskutieren, was schon nicht kundenorientiert ist. Zuhause angekommen musste Ich feststellen, dass in der besagten zweiten Soße anstatt Ananas, Zitrone reingeschnitten worden ist, was das Essen natürlich verdorben hat. Vielen Dank ! Im Übrigen wollte man mir 2 X Nudeln berechnen die Ich NICHT bestellt hatte. Und auch da wurde unfreundlich diskutiert. Nein danke. Das war das letzte Mal für uns dort

Bestellen öfters dort. Super leckeres Essen, sehr freundliche Leute, und der Preis überraschend günstig für die Menge und Qualität der Speisen. Waren auch mal dort Essen im Restaurant, kann man wirklich empfehlen. Allerdings ist nur Barzahlung und keine Lieferung der Speisen möglich.

Sauberer Gastraum, nicht so verkitscht, schlicht, man fühlt sich wohl. Freundliche und schnelle Bedienung, Essen schmackhaft, gute Auswahl. Kann man auch mit nach Hause nehmen bei tel. Bestellung.

Schmeckt lecker, gute Portionsgrößen und freundliches Personal. Essen ist recht schnell zubereitet und kann abgeholt werden, es kann aber auch vor Ort gegessen werden. Parkplatz vor der Tür. Nur an der Ente wurde ein bisschen gespart. Sonst aber alles super.

Es geht so, geschmacklich gut, leider sehr wenig Gemüse und die Portionen sind eher klein.

Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Portionsmäßig könnte es ein weniger mehr sein. Aktuell ja nur Abholung möglich. Ist aber immer sehr schnell fertig. 20-25 Minuten
