Good restaurant with solid prices.

One of the fun things to do in Düsseldorf is to drink Altbier. I always drink here or at Schumacher. All of the shops check the number of glasses consumed by drawing a line on the coaster. I tend to end up drinking too much before I know it, so I always make sure I'm hungry so I can drink a lot. This time I stayed a little too long and got completely drunk.

Typical, rustic brewery. Good menu and changing weekly menu. Friendly service, quick and always in a good mood.

The Kurzer pub definitely has potential: the Altbier is fresh and tasty, the location in the middle of the old town is great, and the atmosphere is usually relaxed. However, there is one big negative point that significantly spoiled the stay: the toilets. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were extremely dirty and smelled unpleasant. For such a busy pub, it really needs to be cleaned more often. Especially in a place where people drink a lot, you expect at least a minimum level of hygiene. It's a shame, because with better toilets and a little more cleanliness, Kurzer could be a really good address. So unfortunately it only remains a mixed visit.

Tomé una de las mejores cervezas de mi vida aquí. Su altbier estaba cambiando la vida. El salmón limón con arroz y verduras era bueno también. ¡Ojalá hubiera podido visitar la ciudad más de una vez!

Quaint pub. Service and drinks top. The food (salad with chicken breast) was too dry this time. Otherwise the Uel is the Uel. It should stay that way.

Extremely unfriendly waiters. We were there last Friday (May 2, 2025) at 6:30 p.m. Upon entering the restaurant, we weren't even greeted. The waiters were extremely rude and in a bad mood, not to mention the cleanliness of the restaurant. Never again!
