Had a really good tour with several tastings. Love, love this educated, opinionated brewer keeping a very old, brewing style! Great beer!!

Overpriced beer, but that's ok because the bar staff will mostly pointedly ignore you, serving their friends/acquaintances only. There are too many good bars in this area to let them get away with such ignorant staff. Food seemed ok, from what I could see, but didn't order myself, for obvious reasons.

So since the renovation the brewery looks great, but it's no longer a brewery. The beer has not been drinkable for almost 2 months, it always tastes very sour, the light beer was recently extremely undrinkable and the dark wheat beer was also much too sour last Saturday. I had to refine it with the much too sweet “light” bock beer. I won't drink beer there anymore and it was always an integral part of the game day, nice to have a beer at kick-off and then go to the old forestry house. Too bad. I've mentioned it several times, but I'm not interested in trying it myself. If you're going to buy beer, then it should at least be a decent one that also tastes like Hellem or Pils.

Everything great. Beer delicious. The IPA is not my cup of tea. The red ale and the wheat were very tasty. :)
