The Butze may seem pretty rocky, but you get honest beer crafts and excellent pizza (made from beer dough). A rarity, highly recommended!

Favorite craft beer pub. But incredibly good pizza and sauces. You come for the beer and stay for good beer and pizza. An incredible treasure of food. Treat yourself!

Lovely place to have a chilled and fun time. Great local beer, music and they also have events. I have been a few times and I always enjoyed. Perfect place for a beer and a pizza or a bite.

Very nice place with good beers and pizza. It’s a pity that the owner doesn’t care about having customers but are more interested to be model fir pics. That’s why they have great pictures online jn front of the pub but they don’t update opening ours in Google. For the second time in 2 months I didn’t go there as G said closed. Congrars guys: hipsters at the top level!!

This place is objectively perfect. PERFECT. BUT, ATTENTION!!!!!!! Appealing to the owners of this place. PLEASE, I kindly beg you to put the legendary BBQ CHICKEN PIZZA back to the menu. It’s not just a some kind of pizza. It’s a MASTERPIECE!

The lighting is very bright and the ceiling is ripped open, the acoustics also leave a lot to be desired. But the staff is good and the pizza is also edible.

We didn't eat, we just wanted to drink non-alcoholic beer. There were two non-alcoholic beers but no 0.0 beers. Also an IPA with 1% alcohol. Unfortunately, my non-alcoholic IPA was quite expensive and a bit stale but well chilled. My companion had the 1% IPA and that wasn't that good either. Afterwards we shared a BRLO naked, that was better. Unfortunately there were no small snacks, but the waiter put a few nuts on the table for us, which was very nice. And it was free too. Three beers for €15, two of which were 0.4l and one was 0.33l. This may be the new normal but it is still expensive. Nobody in the bar ate anything even though the kitchen was occupied. The beer garden behind the house is very pleasant. Maybe the right bar if you want to try out beers from the Anglo-Saxon region.

Rustic inn flair inside, very nice small but nice beer garden outside. Pizza is very good, and most of the beers too.

I usually go for the quiz, but I gotta say the pizza is really good and the service is great.

Without exageratting, they serve one of the best pizzas in Berlin by far, and super value for money. Also, trivia night it's super fun:)

The place has good pub vibes. Enjoyed the pizza-pie and a few craft IPAs and a pils. The tap selection is a bit limited (5 beers at the time of review). Can pay by card. Update June 2024. They added some decent brunch options.

A surprise! An old bar, many beers and excellent pizza! So good that I couldn't take a photo! The attentive staff. We will definitely be back for more pizzas! And you can also watch the Euro Cup. I don't give it 5 stars just because it's not so easy to get to from the center of Berlin, but if you live in the area don't miss it!

Always best place to go after a busy working day, either with friends or alone. Great beer, really good pizza, superb service. Now even equipped for watching the European Football Championship.

The beer is absolutely solid, I particularly liked the Amber Ale. But the highlight here are the beer dough pizzas! We had a vegetarian one and one with meat - both were very, very tasty and absolutely great for the price offered. Unfortunately, the “beer garden” seems a bit desolate, a little decoration and music would probably be good. But as long as the beer and food taste good, you can come to terms with it ;-)

Nice bar and good, friendly service, 6 beers on tap (mostly IPA) from two small breweries. Great crispy chicken wings for an appetizer. The menu also includes different types of pizza (38 cm). You can sit in the green courtyard, but there are not many places outside. You can book in advance.

Thanks to the cooperation with gorilla, the beer selection has become even better, and the food is unrivaled anywhere in Berlin. The service is friendly, relaxed and attentive. The beer garden is cozy when the weather is nice, but otherwise you can also feel comfortable inside and easily meet other guests and chat if you want. The atmosphere is very casual and you can watch the chefs at work without it becoming a show. Delicious beer and the ideal food - the perfect combination.

Still the place to go for all beer - and pizza! - lovers in Pankow. International audience even with babies welcome. Join the unique mug club! One absolutely outstanding pizza in Berlin: the BBQ-pizza. Sold out fast every evening. Actually, I have to give an update on the food and the beer: The guys in the kitchen are a true hidden gem in Berlin. All they prepare is among the by far best in all of Berlin! Taste the fries without any ketchup or mayo, enjoy the pizza crust alone. It tastes awesome and is not like any other you can find here Then for the beer: they coupled with gorilla, so you now also get their great beers on tap. And last, but not least, about the audience: for some reason this place seems to be a favourite among American families with our without kids. Also, it is the only brew pub I will bring my kids to with me. It's a true gem and since the old British metal pub chairs are gone, the only real pain point has gone as well. Come in for a great season '24! And don't forget to reserve a place if you want to be sure.

So I have to say that the restaurant is highly recommended. The food is definitely worth the money. Everything is handmade and it tastes simply fantastic. The home-brewed beer is really good for my taste and you can try your way through 6 different types in a long evening. The staff is also very friendly and we were lucky enough to meet the owner and had a very nice, long conversation.

This is my favorite brewery in Berlin. The owner is super nice and so is the staff. The beer and pizza is tasty. It is my go-to after work meetup place.

Delicious pizza, cozy atmosphere. Unfortunately the waiters seemed pissed off. A more harmonious atmosphere among the staff would be ideal.

Good food and really good beer. The fries were amazing. We were there in happy hour which was ironic because the guy behind the bar seemed to be having an unhappy day.

Interesting place, innovative beers and fantastic pizza dough. Really enjoyed our visit. Absolutely worth the tram journey.

The beers, pizza, brownies were good, also the service and the atmosphere of the place. The toilets were surprisingly clean, which was really nice. You could also comfortably talk to the staff in English. I recommend this place if you want some good craft beers in a not-so-loud environment.

Went there for the first time for a pub quiz and had a lot of fun, even though we did very poorly. We were a group of 7 in our mid-20s and had the impression that many general knowledge questions were designed more for an older age group (around mid-30s). One waitress was a bit overzealous and kept wanting to leave before everyone had given their orders. Otherwise she and the rest of the staff were very friendly. In particular, another waiter who was there quickly when we broke a glass. The drinks were good and the pizzas were tasty.

Not a huge selection of food, but American style pizza to the point, in just the right size, plus IPAs, NEIPAs, Helles, etc. Nice staff and orders are made in English. The furnishings are a bit rustic. You can tell this is about pizza and beer.

The craft beer is great and tastes completely different than the pub standard. The pizza is delicious and the antique counter alone is worth a visit. But there is also only pizza on the menu.

Craft beer and pizza. In warmer months there is a small beer garden behind the house. Regular special activities such as the pub quiz. Due to renovations, in-house beers from Two Fellas are currently not available, but from Gorilla's. Small beer sizes (200 ml) are very expensive compared to the normal size (400 ml) and are not advertised. Certain surcharges are completely understandable. Recommendation to try it directly at the bar if you like to enjoy several beers or can't decide on a type of beer straight away.

Amazing brewery, great local beers: there were only two from this brewery and a lot of different beers from other Berlin breweries. Service was extremely friendly and positive. On the Friday night we got our pizza in 10 minutes, and it was de-licious! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves local high quality bars in Berlin and will come back next time I’m in this area.

One of the very best breweries!

Eins muss ich ja mal sagen: Die Pizza war der Burner. Keine Ahnung, was da im Teig drin war, aber es fühlte sich richtig an. Die Bedienung war gechillt, das Ambiente leicht abgenutzt und kühl. Aber irgendwie passte es auch wieder. Zum Bier kann ich nichts sagen, da ich keines getrunken habe.

Great Bar. Friendly staff. Good knowledge of beers on offer. Didn't eat, but pizzas looked amazing and others were clearly enjoying them.

I love this place. Great beer and the best pizza in town. Try the Papa Joe. Enjoyed being there on a Sunday night for the Irish music.

I had a wonderful time here. The atmosphere is cosy and warm, the pizza was delicious, the Irish live music was great, and the owner and staff are lovely people. I'll be back :) (P.S. if you visit, make sure to try the garlic dip!)

I met my wonderful girlfriend here during their online pub quizzes in corona times so double thumbs up! Also, one of the most cozy and atmospheric pub gems in Berlin. Its off the beaten path of the tourist routes - i highly recommended a little stroll here and stay for an unforgettable night!

Eine sehr sympathische Bierwirtschaft. Der Chef ist sehr ehrlich was die Qualität seiner selbstgebrauten Biersorten angeht. Eine ungewohnt außergewöhnliche Beratung mit einem spontanen Beer Tasting und natürlich sehr leckerem Bier verdient 5 Sterne. Danke für den netten Abend.

My first and probably last time there wasn’t very pleasant. Not enough staff. When I asked for a particular beer, the bartender misunderstood me came back, I repeated my order, his response was “ Who told you we had that, where did you see that” He then proceeds to quickly rattle off the beers they have, in no particular order, then points to a QR I’m suppose to scan to get the list of beers. It didn’t work. A patron in the bar pointed me to the beer menu on the wall, that was not in an obvious place, I ordered a pizza which was mediocre at best. As was the craft beer. Halfway through, a waiter came out and asked me for the pizza board it was on because apparently they had run out. This place reminds me a one of places that tries to be hip with the “ in crowd “ in Berlin. It was probably a nice place when it opened, but it’s a swing and a miss. Hipster chic is no longer in vogue. Scrap what you are looking doing and start again.

I loved this place and are contineusly sharing smiles to their customers as we eat freshly made pizza with the cheesiest of cheeses and a special dip just for the crust.I recommend this place to anyone who likes their pizza.10/10

Great local brewery with tasty selection of beers as well as great pizza. Simple but tasty. The pub quiz Wednesdays are amazing, but you need to book well in advance to get a spot. Thursday is stand-up comedian night which is also recommended. Their loyalty program with the glasses is amazing

Pizza mit Ziegenkäse war sehr lecker, Pub Quiz hat unglaublich viel Spaß gemacht. Gerne wieder!
