Good beer. Worth checking out.

The beer is good, but I wouldn't recommend the food for that price. And we waited 20 minutes to get a table, even though the restaurant was almost empty. Irresponsible and overpriced.

Das ist Berlin! really nice food with a vegetarian based menu. And, of course, there's a huge choice of local beers. Gleisdreieck Park is also a great place to walk to after BRLO.

I didn't like the cold, blue skylight.

We had an interesting tour and beer tasting from Gregor. The students (hospitality management) loved his enthousiasme and knowledge about beer & gastronomy.

...such beers take some getting used to as a South German... and I also question the German Purity Law when it comes to such concoctions... Cheers!

It can get quite loud when there is a sport event. I really liked the ordering system, with the qr codes. To staff/manager: Please, consider lengthening the order timeout - I could not continue one order and for every beer I had to start a new one, which is not a dealbraker, but a little cumbersome.

Four of us went to the beer tasting on October 18, 2025. Kudos to Gregor, who led the event in a relaxed, informative, and humorous manner. We'd love to come back for a beer.

We went to the wrong place and went to the Browhouse, wanting to go to the restaurant. The young woman who greeted us kindly called us a taxi and called the restaurant to say we were coming. Once there, the service was super friendly. The food was good and the beers excellent.

If you're going for the beer, you'll be fine. The beer is wonderful, we ordered several and they were all excellent. However, the service and food were awful. So either sit at the bar and order the beer or go with a lot of patience and without being hungry.

It’s a great choice for a beer. It has a good quality of beer and the atmosphere is extremely cosy in the winter and summer either. You should visit it!

The location is nice, the beers are good, and the beer garden is fantastic. However, the restaurant experience wasn't the best. The service was rather inattentive, and the food wasn't particularly tasty. Perhaps that's a matter of taste and/or simply bad luck with our choice of food. The chickpea dish, however, was objectively inedible.

I’ve never left a negative review before, but this experience just stood out for the wrong reasons. We booked a beer tasting led by Gregor (the thin guy with the beanie). When I approached him to say our group had a booking, he cut me off, pushed past me, and snapped in a harsh, violent tone, “I’m not your host, find yours.” Moments later, he told his colleague a group hadn’t shown up — even though we were right in front of him. I told him how uncomfortable his behaviour was; he ignored me, then later offered a half-hearted apology, blaming stress. Still, his attitude was rude and unprofessional, and he kept swearing throughout the tour. I honestly don’t understand how someone like that works in customer service. Even under pressure, it costs nothing to be polite. The beer was great, but the experience was completely ruined by the hostility.

It was super delicious, but very loud and the service was a bit overwhelmed.

We were there for a beer tasting and had our dog with us, which made things a bit complicated. But Gregor handled the whole thing with such professionalism, warmth, and openness that we immediately felt at ease. He found a solution for everything and made us feel truly welcome. We've never experienced such positive, attentive service—simply unique! Gregor also has impressive knowledge of beer and knows how to share it with enthusiasm. I highly recommend him; thanks to him, the evening was a true highlight.

Order online and skip the line! Unfortunately, online ordering is disabled, and you have to wait in line for 25 minutes. It makes sense, of course, to advertise the online system with QR codes every two meters... Sunny Sunday and hopelessly overwhelmed staff (at least the few that are there). Fortunately, there are other beer gardens where management also takes care of adequate staffing and good service.

The waiter laughed in my face for ordering a cola, even though I explained that I can't drink alcohol due to health problems.

The service here was unbelievably bad. We had a reservation and were seated without any explanation about the “rules.” After ordering drinks and a snack, a staff member came over and rudely told us to leave because we hadn’t ordered “proper food.” If there are restrictions on where customers can sit, that should be explained clearly before seating. We never intended to misuse the seating, but clearer communication upfront could have avoided the misunderstanding. 🙃

I always enjoy a beer here. The selection is extensive, and the beer tastes very good, too. It's a lovely place to enjoy the after-work atmosphere in the outdoor area. The clientele here is diverse and pleasant. Thanks to the good transport links, it's quickly accessible by bike or subway. Since I haven't eaten here yet, I unfortunately can't rate the food.

We came on a Sunday when the restaurant was closed but the outside setup filled all of our needs. There are separate stalls for multiple tapped beers, rib/brat grill, and fries. The food was reasonably priced, filling, and good. The mix of beers leaned more American than most places in Germany but still very good. The outdoor brewhouse scene was satisfying and comfortable.

This is how a beer garten should be in 2025! Decent choice of home brewn beers (including a nice hazy ipa) with good simple tasty food! smoked beef, with lots of vegetables. Great atmosphere with Berlin spätsommer vibes on the terrace. On sunny days like this you have to make reservations for the restaurant. I loved it !

We ate with several people; the food was consistently poor and simply too expensive for the quality. The service was among the worst in Berlin, in my opinion. One positive point was the very nice ambiance.

It is a really nice place to enjoy in summer times. The prices are a bit higher compared to Berlin prices though.

We went to BRLO today and really enjoyed our visit. Unfortunately, we arrived just before closing time, as the place closes at 10 p.m. So we only had time for the last round. Nevertheless, our short visit was very pleasant. The ambiance is modern, cozy, and definitely invites you to linger. I would particularly like to highlight the craft beer – it tastes excellent and impresses with its quality and character. It's a shame we didn't get to try more. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the selection. Overall, a highly recommended place.

Great spot for big groups - lots of seating, and they serve food as well as drinks. At one point we had to hide from the rain, and luckily there are covered tables too. A bit on the pricey side, but still worth it. They accept cards

One of the best places to visit if you would like to try a variety of beers. The whole setup and the place is also very nice. Would recommended Pale Ale, Radler for sure. The only downside is that they dont have many options in food. Would totally recommend this place for the beers. 🍻

Great beer garden in Berlin with a good selection of beers and food

Online reservation was canceled 15 minutes before the appointment without giving any reason.

Not a typical beer garden, but a really nice atmosphere, right on Gleisdreieck, beer is good. Very centrally located.

This is a great place to meet for any occasion. Perfect location for a nice outdoor but also indoor setting. I would say the service is quite mixed. I ordered outside a beer from the tap, got a bottle. At dinner, the waiter was fine, largely unegaged and also forgot our drinks or have any follow up whatsoever. On the other hand when I asked for an earlier seating of our reservation, it was very accommodating and friendly. Following up my drinks with another waiter, they came promptly and friendly. But the absolute highlight was Yousef, who was a great help, gave excellent recommendations, checked in on a number of occasions even though he was not our main waiter, and had an overall great chat!

Service in the beer garden not so good

The food in the beer garden is absolutely overpriced and at best a snack bar. The wait times – especially at the grill – were endless (almost 20 minutes), despite the short line. Overall, a great location, but not recommended.

The best part is the ambiance. The food outside and the prices are ridiculous, and the beer is mostly good, with several different varieties. However, the waiters don't know their own beer and constantly confuse Helles with IPA :-( That's probably because none of them drink beer.

A master brewer led us through the small brewery at Gleisdreieck. Unfortunately, they weren't brewing any beer at the time. But then there was a beer tasting: along with a few sips of beer, small snacks were served that complemented each type. It was truly a taste experience!

We're from Berlin, and BRLO has been on our bucket list for a long time. Spoiler alert: it's not worth it. We had mac and cheese – dry, and the pasta never had any cheese on it. The table we sat at in the beer garden was the cleanest of the dirty ones! We didn't see any service or anyone checking on the cleanliness! The beer was sour, as if the beer hose needed a cleaning. Too bad, because we really like Gleisdreieck Park.

The macaroni was carelessly served on a paper plate, the chicken sandwich wasn't edible... get the pickles with your beer... that'll definitely be fine. (Summer 2024)

You will get stolen careful. Keep your bags near you, or will get stolen infront of your eyes. Like you will not even understand how it happend. There is no camera to help you identify the person. The service clearly does not care. Some are also rude.

Great food, good beer, but weird workplace culture issues amongst the wait staff (one waiter repeatedly called out another waitress harshly on what she is doing wrong in front of the guests) that rubbed off on the overall service experience.

The Naked was a delicious alcohol free beer and my friend loved the sour beer on tap.

Unfortunately, the people at the bar have no clue about their business. They're slow and poorly organized. The ambiance is pleasant. The food was tasty, but a bit overpriced for a self-service restaurant and beer garden.

A great place to relax and enjoy a beer, very youthful but also family-friendly. It's often crowded and not always easy to find a seat, but highly recommended for the atmosphere! The interior is also very nice.

Lovely beer garden with a lot of potential with food truck options (we went to the grill which was delicious). However the staff were very inflexible not offering half pint options even though they had the glasses, and also no flights as they are only served inside the bar which was closed at the time (closed for customers but the staff could still walk in). So 4 stars for beer garden but 1 star for service

I made a 830pm reservation for 10 people. At 840 the waitress said the table would be ready soon and let us know. At 915 when I enquired about the table they had given it away to other people and wouldn’t seat us anyway as the kitchen was closed. Staff were quite aggressive when explaining the whole situation and didn’t care really about our group. Didn’t apologise just pointed me in the direction of the fries stand. Don’t recommend. Find somewhere else

Unfriendly staff, bad food on plastic plates, and a 15-minute line for a beer? (No, unfortunately, it doesn't work online.) Well, it's nicely done, but nothing more.

Fantastically delicious food with lots of flavor and fresh ingredients. Cozy patio atmosphere. The tables outside are long tables so we sat with other couples and ate, but it didn't feel cramped. Their beers are also super good. Remember to make a reservation. We had ordered less than an hour before, but several people were turned away while we were sitting there.

The atmosphere is great there. Queuing for food sucks, but Serkan gave great context.

Essentially a modern and quite cozy beer garden in a central location. Here, you either have to get your beer yourself from the container (a long line) or order via the app. For food, you can choose between a – in my opinion, overpriced – menu or bratwurst with potato salad. You can also pick up the latter from the grill. Waiting time included. Empty glasses often sit on the table for a while, and the toilet paper runs out. At this price, you'd expect more.

The beers are phenomenal and Jeanne was the most lovely person, she recommended great beer and the overall experience was wonderful.

Berlin and the outdoors simply belong together. The beer garden has plenty of space and is relaxed, even when it's crowded. Beer lovers will find plenty to try. Of course, other drinks are also available; the gin and tonic was very well mixed. For dinner, there are fries from a delicious food truck, and there's a grill with excellent meat. You can stay late in the evenings, and thanks to the central location, you can eat well. The service was very friendly. If the weather isn't quite right, you can also sit inside. A great location.

We had a blast! The staff were the BEST, they treated us like family. The food was excellent, be sure to try the pork ribs. My favorite was there IPA. Thanks for making our visit to your establishment such a memorable event. We will see you again at Christmas. Much love!

Very atmospheric brewery / grill house. Not light on the wallet, but you get what you pay for. I have been here twice and had the pleasure of being served by Ali both times. On top of being a welcoming and mindful host, he helped rescue my phone when it fell between the beer garden floor boards! My hero! 😁

Literally one of the best beer gardens in Berlin with sometimes football screenings and amazing atmosphere!

This working brewery is definitely worth a visit. The atmosphere is fun, the service fast, and the food excellent.

BRLO definitely has a cool vibe – nice design, interesting beer selection, and a solid location. But honestly? The prices are absurd. It feels like one of those places cashing in on Berlin’s reputation for openness and creativity, using that image to justify costs that just don't make sense – even for a special night out. Yes, the food is fine and the drinks are good, but nothing here is worth what you end up paying. It’s one of those overhyped spots that seems more about branding than substance. There are so many better places in Berlin where you get real value without the feeling you’re being taken for a ride. If you’re into trendy, curated experiences and don’t mind paying premium tourist prices, you might enjoy it. But if you're looking for something that actually fits the spirit of Berlin – creative, unpretentious, and real – BRLO just doesn’t quite get there.

Habla Manotas, Huge choice of beers, +-20. The food is really good although more pricey than average. The music is just great. The garden looks more like a modern village with tables and benches and a big screen and some lounge chairs. Although the service is not great fastest it is friendly. Because of all that you might spend quite a few nice hours there. All in all this is definitely my favorite brewery in Berlin. You must see it to get the whole picture. This place is suitable for all ages and every kind of gatherings. I might be wrong, but from what I remember it's not suited for people on wheel chairs.

Delicious food and drinks! You can also find low-alcohol drinks here. It's fun for me with kids, and there's plenty to please everyone, both inside and outside! Highly recommended!
