We had an outstanding dinner at Leibhaftig during our recent stay in Berlin. We appreciated the dedicated vegetarian/vegan section of the menu and the friendly, attentive wait staff. Everything was SO delicious and the atmosphere was warm, cozy, and inviting-- don't skip dessert! This was our favorite meal during our stay in Berlin and we highly recommend dining here!

Yesterday a friend actually just wanted to go to the toilet, but the atmosphere was so nice that we stayed for a few drinks. My two favorite cocktails were prepared upon request and the prices were very fair. The owner is a very accommodating person and was extremely open and communicative. You felt super comfortable. I will definitely go again!

Absolutely delicious, with a kind and high-class service. A great dinner under the trees.

Unfortunately, after 1.5 hours we had to stop and go eat tacos. The very nice waitresses told us several times that they were sorry, but in 6 years in Berlin I have never had to cancel an order. Wow 😮 Tacos around the corner were really tasty https://www.elosoberlin.de

We had made a reservation and when we arrived we were told that the reservation had not arrived and that it was my fault. In my opinion, you can't treat guests like that.

What a lovely little neighborhood restaurant. The tapas are tasty, and the menu has a good selection of wine, beer and other beverage choices. Space is limited, so arrive early to get a seat. Can’t wait to visit again to try more of their menu choices. Went back two more nights in one week, needless to say it was because of the GOOD FOOD. We tried the whole menu and literally everything is good. The potato salad is probably the best in town! The ham sausages is a must-try, and so are the meatballs. We will be back next year. Thank you for great food and fantastic service.

Cute local German tapas beer bar 🖤 Dark beer is like coffee, not too strong and delicious. The owner, staff, and chef are all nice and nice. Recommended for light German snacks and beer that aren't too heavy. 👍

We were in a group of 8 guests for dinner. Everything was great, the organization in advance, the food and of course the service and the price-performance ratio.

What a phantastic restaurant and concept, we really loved it there so that we came two evenings in a row for dinner! You can see the brewery pipes and choose between many different beers, the food is delicious especially the Obazda. In the winter they make small animals out of snow and ice outside which are beautiful 😍

Many vegetarian choices available. Great service. Despite the flavorful dishes, I would not recommend for individuals with hearing difficulties because of the small space and elevated noise levels, making communication challenging. Or it's possible that we arrived on a night with particularly loud customers 😅😵

Wonderful restaurant tucked away in Prenzlauer Berg. A little on the upscale side (read: pricier), it's a German-themed tapas bar, meaning you can try various German delicacies in smaller portions! It's great for those who like to share or just try a bite of everything on the table. It's in a very inviting "underground" Keller with a cozy atmosphere. The service was super friendly and found a place for us at the bar despite being fully reserved. Book a table in advance! Everything we had was delicious, including the beer and dessert. Be sure to try everything!

Mixed thoughts. Plus points: I tried an IPA beer which was excellent and my wife had the cabernet sauvignon which was good too. Waitress charming. Mixed points: The tapas dishes varied, we thought the goat's cheese with honey & almond very good, franconian sausage good as were the rye bread and pretzel, veal sausage and the dumpling rather stodgy. Minus point: We booked a table for two but it’s a very small venue and none was available so we had to perch on two stools at the bar.

Essen war lecker, aber Preis / Leistung absolut nicht gegeben. wenn man hungrig ist, kann man eigentlich nur den Schweinebraten nehmen... Und der ist mit den 2 Scheibchen und 2 Miniklößen für 17€ echt am unteren Ende der Sattheit.... Kellner war freundlich. Pilsner Bier war irgendwie kein Pils... Nur eine Toilette für Mann und Frau... bayrische Tapas... 1 Weißwurst für 7€... Ein Mini Leberkäse für einen ähnlichen Taler... Der Laden sollte die Preise oder die Menge überdenken. Weißwurst ist jetzt kein einfallsreiches Tapas, was 7€ wert ist.... Geht lieber zum Metzer Eck weiter und esst ein gutes und füllendes Schnitzel.

Cannot recommend enough. The food was delicious, and it was fun to be able to sample several Bavarian dishes by sharing tapas. We sat outside in the shade and it was a lovely atmosphere, the wait staff was very kind and considerate, and they had a good selection of wine. The beer selection was surprisingly small for a microbrewery, but overall definitely worth a visit.

I had been searching across Berlin for some authentic, non-touristy German food and I found it just a few steps down from my hotel. I had the pork with dumplings and cabbage salad, and for dessert my absolute favorite "Vanilleeis mit heißer Himbeere" (vanilla ice cream with hot raspberry sauce)! Every bite was divine. Best meal I had in Berlin! My only regret is I didn't find it sooner as I would have eaten here every night. My other regret is I didn't have room for the spatzel.

Been here for the second time. It is a delightful restaurant with an authentic menu. The atmosphere is quite informal an de food is really good. Love to come here. Very special combination of traditional German food and tapas-eating. Small and cozy restaurant with home-brewed beer.

Mauvais tapas allemand beaucoup trop chère et mauvais service...

Sind aufgrund einer Empfehlung dort essen gegangen und haben uns auf die Tapas gefreut, leider wurden wir enttäuscht. Die Tapas für diesen Preis (6-8€)waren lieblos angerichtet, leider nicht schmackhaft und auch ein wenig einfallslos.Ein Paar Wiener durchschneiden , mit einem Klecks Senf dazu oder Rote-Beete Knödel, die eher an Polenta erinnern und nichts mit Knödeln zu tun haben, der Gurkensalat war kein Salat, sondern 12 Gurkenscheiben mir Verzierung darauf, ohne Geschmack.Schade!!! Vielleicht sind die Hauptgerichte besser, aber da gibt es wirklich schönere Alternativen in Berlin, um gut bayrisch essen zu gehen. Der Service war unerfahren, aber wirklich bemüht, deswegen gebe ich zwei Sterne.

Six of us visited for food and drinks on our first night in Berlin. It was the best meal of our trip! Great way to explore Bavarian food - it was all delicious. Really friendly casual service who made us all feel welcome. Would definitely recommend.

Also die Idee als solche ist schon ein Knaller: typisch bayerische Speisen als Tapas. Weißwürste, Leberkäse, Knödel, Wurstsalat, Brezeln... Alles sehr schön angerichtet, alles sehr lecker. Schaut Euch am besten die Speiserkarte online an, da bekommt man direkt Appetit. Die Auswahl an Getränken ist auch prima. Die Atmosphäre ist urig und gemütlich. Aber der Raum ist im Souterrain, man muss also fit genug sein, ein paar Stufen zu überwinden. :-) Der Raum ist auch nicht sonderlich groß, also zur Sicherheit einen Platz reservieren. Einziger Wermutstropfen: das Personal ist sehr freundlich und nett, aber scheint ab und an ein wenig überfordert. Aber es bleibt die Erinnerung an einen schönen bayerischen Abend.

Das Leibhaftig ist ein kleines, aber sehr gutes Restaurant. Ich kann die bayrischen Tapas sehr empfehlen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und berät bei Fragen rund um Wein-, Bier- und Whiskeysorten.

Die Tapas waren lecker. Der Service 1A. Die Tische im Restaurant waren ungünstig aufgestellt. Ein anderer Tisch musste aufstehen, damit ich zu meinem Platz konnte. Die Plätze an der Bar waren auch sehr eng.

Sehr freundlich, angenehme Atmosphäre. Das Essen war flott auf dem Tisch. Hübsch präsentiert und sehr schmeckig. Ich würde wieder mit meinem kleinen Hund hier speisen! Ebenfalls auch fleischlose Speisen 👍

As a native foodie and Swiss , we were looking for an authentic restaurant with normal prices, yet really good,honest, well cooked food. This is it! The food is really tasty, great new versions of classical dishes, such as the Knödel-carpaccio and Leberpastete-sandwich. The service and hosting was kind, welcoming and care-taking. Very friendly. It seemed to be a small family business where the owner have the heart at the right place. The adorable young women serving us was vey charming thus her young age. We are really happy and thankful to have found this place in the heart of Berlin, which unfortunately has given us mostly mainstream restaurants. But this is really worth a visit, worth a walk and worth waiting for!

Piccolo ristorante a conduzione familiare, atmosfera accogliente, sorrisi e cortesia. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, sperimentando piatti tipici della cucina bavarese e sorseggiato dell’ottima birra. Tutto perfetto tranne il prezzo leggermente più alto di quello che si trova altrove in città

Heerlijk Duits gegeten, lekkere verschillende Duitse tapas met hun eigen gebrouwen bier. Als dessert de warme apfelkuchen, overheerlijk!! Wij zijn enorme techno liefhebbers, de hele avond techno als achtergrondmuziek, geweldig! Wij komen zeker de volgende keer terug!

In een gezellig 'keldertje' bevindt zich kleine restaurant. Het is erg intiem en basic, maar meer heeft deze setting niet nodig. Mijn man vooral benieuwd naar dit Duitse tapas en bierconcept. Als Belg zijn we natuurlijk veel lekkere Bueren gewend, dus waren deze bieren niet erg speciaal. Wel lekker. De hapjes zijn klein, verzorgd en lekker. Ik eet vegetarisch en er was voldoende keuze. Zeker als je van kazen en knödels houdt. De porties zijn voldoende maar klein. Als je een grote eter bent bestel je best wat extra. Het was een fijne ervaring. Ohja, ook vriendelijke bediening!

Dropped by for dinner since it was near my hostel and glad I did. It's a small place that specializes in German tapas, or small German food plates to complement your drink. I opted for one tapa (a cucumber salad), a the large plates with pork in a beer-gravy sauce, potato dumplings, and cabbage. The meals were very good. The tapas are on the smaller side, so it's good for one person, but it tasted fresh and tasty. The pork was well cooked and the sauce had great flavor - not too salty. The cabbage was meh, but its not really my type of food. Small beer selection, but they also brew some of their own. Excellent and fast service from both the owner and the workers. Would recommend if you're in the area.

Das Bier ist ganz gut. Es gibt kein helles gebautes Bier und das Essen ist ein Witz... hatte für 5 Euro nicht mal eine Scheibe Leberkäse auf dem Teller, war ja eine bayrische Tapas 😅 da habe ich mich über den Tisch gezogen gefühlt. 0.5 Liter IPA 7 Euro... fande ich zu teuer. Eine Toilette für das ganze Lokal.

Excellent staff and owner with amazing top notch Bavarian small plates. The house made craft beer is excellent. Great outdoor seating area and one if my favorite places to eat when we stay in Prenzlauer Berg.

Sehr nette Bedingung, aber das Essen war nicht immer sehr gut - viel zu viel Lauch bei manchen Gerichten, man schmeckt dann nichts anderes, und auch zum Beispiel viel zu viel Öl bei den Rindstreifen.

Locale molto gradevole, ci siamo arrivati seguendo le ottime recensioni che confermo al 100%. Delle 3 cene fatte a Berlino, è stata la migliore. Piatti curati, ottime tapas bavaresi, notevole varietà vegetariana. Il locale è piccolo e in una via tranquilla. Ci si arriva in 10 minuti a piedi da Alexanderplatz.

Dit restaurant is klein, dus reserveren is verstandig. Het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk en behulpzaam, dat maakt de sfeer hier!...

Vor drei Jahren verbrachte ich hier schon einmal einen sehr schönen Abend bei leckeren Speisen und sehr gutem Bier. Seitdem hat sich an der guten Qualität nichts verändert. Die Idee mit den süddeutschen Tapas, die ausnahmslos alle hervorragend munden, ist einfach grandios. Wer einen bayrischen Abend in der Hauptstadt verbringen möchte und dabei noch Wert auf einen so richtig herzlichen Service legt (in Berlin leider keine Selbstverständlichkeit), der ist hier genau richtig. Ich freue mich schon auf den Berlin-Besuch und damit einen neuen Abend im "Leibhaftig".

We were staying in the area and decided to try this place based on the positive reviews. The food and service were excellent and unpretentious. It also seemed like a good value compared to other restaurants in the area. Lots of good options for vegetarians.

Die Herzlichkeit und service sind der Hammer. Das Essen gerade die Tapas war super köstlich..auch die Bierauswahl super. Waren gestern mit Freunden von Öffnung bis zum Ende da. Das sagt glaube ich alles zum wohlfühl Modus:)

Virkelig skøn lille restaurant med super sød betjening, eget bryggeri og gode tyske specialiteter. Fire forskellige tapas pr person er et minimum, hvis man skal have aftensmad.
