A wonderful place to immerse yourself in Berlin’s white beer culture. Very competent and friendly bartender who explains the differences and subtleties of the individual varieties in detail and without hesitation. However, if you are looking for the classic with woodruff or raspberry flavor, you are in the wrong place here.

I'm not sure if the food, beer or service is good or not, because I never got the chance to try it. We came 20 minutes before closing time and were not allowed to order, which is totally fine, happened before, buy we were quite rudely rejected, as if we were idiots for thinking you could order beer in a bar

Cozy Wedding craft beer pub - with the famous Berliner Weisse der Schneeeule and even numerous vintage beers. Of course there are also other beers and drinks. The demure charm of the landlady and the staff fits in with this.

The owner & this place are fantastic! They successfully prescribed a beer for me; I usually say, 'I don't drink beer' but the gurkenkaiser I had was wonderful—I'm truly amazed that I was able to enjoy a beer so much (it didn't even bother my stomach like beers usually do). My dad was introduced to his first German beers; he had some smoked rotbiers that he really enjoyed while we snacked on peanuts and chatted all together. Our conversations with the owner were effortless and for us, surely memorable as well. The prices are good, and the environment is cozy and decorated in an enticing way. Plus, the vinyls we heard there were spot on.

El propietario y este lugar son fantásticos! Me recetaron con éxito una cerveza; por lo general digo, 'no bebo cerveza', pero el gurkenkaiser que tomé fue maravilloso — estoy realmente sorprendido de que pude disfrutar de una cerveza tanto (ni siquiera me molestó el estómago como las cervezas suelen hacerlo). A mi papá le presentaron sus primeras cervezas alemanas; tenía algunos rotbiers ahumados que realmente disfrutaba mientras comíamos cacahuetes y charlábamos todos juntos. Nuestras conversaciones con el propietario fueron sin esfuerzo y para nosotros, seguramente memorable también. Los precios son buenos, y el entorno es acogedor y decorado de una manera atractiva. Además, los vinilos que oímos allí estaban encendidos.

I had saved this place and wanted to check it since long time and made the mistake of actually going there. This lady dressed like she worked in a circus made us feel really uncomfortable. Was she trying to be funny, sarcastic, or was she just being rude? I guess we will never know. Never again. And if you are curious about beers like we were, save yourself the unpleasantness and go to a regular craft beer bar.

Schneeeule is a local treasure with authentic Berliner Weisse brewed in its original format ("Marlene") along with a variety of aged and infused flavours ("Gürken Kaiser" is my favourite). This is one of the only places on earth to taste these unique and delicious beers. It's an absolute must for all beer appreciators.

Absolute recommendation for anyone who can do something with sour beer. An institution with excellently friendly staff and exciting beers!

Curiosity led me to Wedding because I really wanted to get to know draft wheat beer. I was the first and only guest on the warm afternoon and drank two different beers on tap, which took some getting used to for me as a pilsner drinker. The first one was well chilled but had very little carbonation, which I also noticed to the landlady. She said it was because she had just put in a new barrel. The second one had significantly more carbon dioxide and therefore tasted more refreshing. I wished I had gotten a new one with my first beer. Otherwise the landlady was very friendly. The ambience is typical of a wedding pub, so friendly.

Scheeeule es un pintoresco salón de cerveza que elabora estilos del Weiss tradicional berlinés del siglo XVI en Berlín. La cerveza se elabora a partir de levadura histórica que se encuentra en botellas de cerveza en bodega que tenían 50 años. El propietario cultivó la levadura para traer de vuelta esta cerveza tradicional a Berlín. Las cervezas de Schneeeule presentan el tradicional Berliner Weiss. No se añaden jarabes azucarados a sus cervezas, como en el Berliner Kindl producido en masa. Los sabores se elaboran en las cervezas, utilizando los procesos del pasado. Las cervezas se equilibran con notas agrias suaves, a diferencia de las cervezas Berliner Weiss muy agrias no tradicionales que se encuentran en Berliner Kinl y Lemke. Marlene estaba detrás de la barra cuando estuvimos allí. Ella era amable, servicial y se tomó el tiempo para explicar claramente las cervezas. Fue una experiencia maravillosa! ¿Quieres experimentar Berlín del pasado a través de una cerveza? El Salón Schneeeule debe parar. Sncheeule Salón era fácil llegar en tren. Fue un paseo rápido de dos cuadras de la parada U - Bahn Rehberge en la U 6.

I drank a Berliner Weisse for the first time in my life, and I was unprepared for it. The expansive glass was surprising, the taste reminded me of cider, which I really like to drink. But the noticeable acidity stopped me from trying anything more than the Marlene. Definitely worth a visit, but you should be more informed than we were, because when it comes to the special type of brewing, the Schneeeule is certainly an institution. In addition, very good background music!

Extraordinary. They single handedly brought back the old traditional German brewing style Berliner Weiße back to life and gave it a modern but down to earth twist. They are NOT the kind of soulless IT-hipster startup brewery chain like many others and master their craft like no other in Europe. If you like sour, funky, yeasty fresh, sparkly and creative beer - you will love it there.

Great little bar if you like sour beers. They also have other drinks but beer is the thing, specifically Berliner weiße type stuff but with none of the sweet flavor additions. They also have some more regular ipa and helles style beers. The interior is nice and comfy, like a Kneipe but without the smoking. The bar staff are super nice everytime I've been there, no Berliner schnauze. Overwl would recommend!

Perfect place if you want to taste their own brewed sour beers. You can find even some very fresh & new beers here that still do not have labels on it :)

Eine absolute Empfehlung für das Eintauchen in die Berliner Weiße Bierkultur

Sehr freundliche Bedienung bzw. Bierberatung. Vor allem gut für Berliner Weisse und Sour Beer. Auch schön ist die Kombination mit Hasina nebenan, wo man von dort was zum Essen bestellen und es dann bei Schneule essen kann.

Det var okay. Servicen var middelmådig. Vi skulle prøve smage en øl, hvor vi så skulle have et 4 cl shot i. Men vi måtte ikke få fyldt glasset med øl igen, så det blev ekstremt stærkt med 4 cl shot oven i de 2 cl der var tilbage af øllet. Øllen var meget dyr i forvejen. Vi gav 5€ for 2 cl øl, som var den første vi fik.

Ist mir zu Altmodisch.Aber meine Freunde hatten Lust auf ein Berliner Weise Orginal. Ich hatte Radler.Meine Kneipe ist es nicht.Aber man mus auch solch ein Bier mögen.

Scheint, dass man hier gut sitzen u auch trinken kann. Hab nur Bier abgeholt.

Wunderbar. Die Inhaberin und die Servicekraft waren ausgesucht freundlich. Ich hatte die Marlene, das Kennedy und das Gurken Berliner Weisse. Alle auf ihre Art klasse wobei die Gurke etwas abfiel. Ein Sauerkirschgeist aus einer Berliner Manufaktur war auch sehr gut. Der Kümmelgeist hatte auch eine erkennbar hohe Qualität war aber nicht mein Ding. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Awesome experience overall. Very enthusiastic lady-bartender. Different variations of weiss sour beer - cucumbers and dill, jasmine, ginger. Bock beer was also great.

Incredibly well curated selection of beers and all of their own are unbelievably delicious and creative. What you're getting here is a great atmosphere, super chill and knowledgeable staff and a revived Berlin beer tradition. Cannot recommend this place enough, will definitely be back.

Great local Berlin's bar which serves mostly typical Berliner Weisse. It is definitely worth to try, very sour, very interesting. It's not typical hype craft bar, more of a classical type. The only fly in the ointment (actually two) was: 1. Bottled beer to take away home costed almost the same as there which made it probably the most expensive bottle I've bough lately. 2. I've bought couple beers from Ukraine there, and was quite disappointed to find out at home they were expired already for half a year, especially considering the beer costed even more expensive. Taking one star for that, though this is definitely one of the most interesting bars in Berlin for people truly loving interesting beer.

Hier steht die Braumeistern noch selbst am Tresen. Und was soll man groß sagen? Mehr Authentizität geht nicht. Hier bekommt man eine echte Berliner Weisse. Ganz ohne irgendwelchen Sirup. Der echte "Champagner des Nordens". Der Salon hat darüber hinaus echte Wohnzimmeratmosphäre. Toll das es diesen Laden und dieses Bier gibt. Neben der hauseigenen Weisse gibt es auch noch eine Auswahl von Gastbieren. Sowohl vom Hahn als auch aus der Dose bzw. Flasche. Hier schlägt das Herz höher für alle Freunde von gutem Biergenuss.

Unter den Biersorten ist Berliner Weiße ist schon immer mein Favorit gewesen. Da wundert's mich, dass ich als alter Berliner erst jetzt von diesem Lokal gehört habe! Sehr gute Weiße und tolle Atmosphäre, ich werde wiederkommen.
