If you love Franconian cuisine, you've come to the right place 👍👍! In the rustic restaurant you eat like at grandma's. Excellent, down-to-earth and honest cuisine. The meat is tender and melts in your mouth, the crust is crispy, what more could you want! Just this much... the next day we went there to eat again, we liked it so much 😋 You won't make a mistake here, we'll happily do it again. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The restaurant offers a great and rustic atmosphere. The food and service are good. The hotel rooms are modern and clean, with special details. A place that you can happily recommend.

I've been here several times in the last few months, but unfortunately the quality has deteriorated significantly. While I was able to enjoy one of the best suckling pigs with dumplings and sauce six months ago, my last few visits have been disappointing. Wiener Schnitzel, Käsespätzle and suckling pig were average to below average, and the waiting times for the food were far too long each time. It's a shame that something seems to have changed for the worse here.

We made a reservation, which worked perfectly online. Were welcomed very nicely by a young man and served all evening. He was very accommodating. The drinks and food came very quickly and tasted really delicious. You really can't say anything about the price. The atmosphere was something special and very pleasant. We would love to come back when we are in the area.

Large portions with friendly service, rather expensive... I'm curious to see whether the innkeeper in Bad Tölz can keep up... but recommended...

Whether hearty and hearty or classic Bavarian – everyone will find something to please their palate here. The price range of €10 to €20 also reflects the good price-performance ratio. The rating of 3.7 stars seems all the more surprising to me, as I cannot understand it given my positive experience. Reviews may reflect one-off discrepancies or different expectations from other guests. For me, however, the Brauhaus 1516 was completely convincing with its friendly service, the inviting ambience and the solid cuisine. Conclusion: Brauhaus 1516 offers an authentic Bavarian experience that deserves more positive reviews. I can highly recommend a visit here to anyone looking for true Bavarian cosiness.
