Schlossbräu Mariakirchen in Arnstorf

During a hotel stay, we ate twice at Schlossbräu Mariakirchen. Our dishes were excellent, the home-brewed beer was delicious, we found the ambiance in the former stables with their beautiful brick vaults impressive, and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating.

The best location outside of Landshut. Always busy. Outside of the beer garden season, reservations are recommended. Excellent beer. The Schlossbräu outdoor area is still as you'd expect there; namely: bring a picnic basket and enjoy a light beer. The best alternative is a creamy schnitzel with spaetzle and seasonal vegetables. I haven't personally had anything comparable to this. Despite this, the food is still outstanding at this 4-star resort!

Unfortunately, I can't give the service here six stars. I've rarely experienced such highly motivated and friendly staff. Beautiful location, delicious food, and the room in the castle was an absolute highlight.

I think the self-pickup option is great…that way, things get done even when it's busy…the beer garden was lovely! And the parking lot is huge, with some areas under tall trees ;-)

The ambiance is very nice, but the food is completely forgettable here. We all had different dishes: roast pork, cheese spaetzle, and roast beef with onions. Everything was too salty, and the food was lukewarm. The meat was very tough and dry. Unfortunately, the service is also a problem; there's only one waitress on staff. Long waits if you want a beer or anything to drink. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have very poor taste.

Stopped in for dinner. Brewery culture in a pleasant atmosphere. The service was generally friendly, but there was something missing. The food was good and reasonably priced. I've had more delicious Bavarian sausage salad, though. It, too, lacked that final touch. Overall, though, I would return to try other dishes and would recommend the brewery.

We arrived by motorhome. We felt right at home in the beautiful beer garden.

I've been there many times for food or drinks. But today it was simply awful. The four of us ordered a Coke and a dark beer. All of the dishes tasted like stingrays and beer. After complaining several times, we were able to return the dishes (they were for the kids) and were then given Cokes instead. We ate schnitzel, currywurst burgers, and cordon bleu. All of the dishes were undercooked and were pure deep-fried dishes. The cheese in the cordon bleu was far too runny, and the cordon bleu was still slightly pink. Unfortunately, a complete disaster. I won't be coming back with my family for a while.

The Schlossbräu is definitely worth a visit. The brewery pub, with its vaulted ceilings and brewing kettles, is very inviting, and the beer garden is one of the most beautiful in Lower Bavaria in summer. The beer quality varies, and the food is unfortunately very expensive and simply bad. The best options are Obatzten (a kind of sausage) with pretzels or a sausage salad. The staff aren't passionate about their work and are rather unfriendly. A still water, or tap water, costs €1???

A thoroughly enjoyable visit to Schlossbräu Mariakirchen! A truly wonderful brewery with an authentic atmosphere. The food is typical of a brewery—hearty, regional, and truly delicious. The meat from the brewery's own farm deserves special mention—you could definitely taste it in the quality. The home-brewed beer, especially the lager, was also excellent! The location is quaint and cozy, just what you'd expect from a real brewery. The service was very friendly and attentive, and our order arrived quickly. We'd love to come back!

We celebrated our wedding in June with about 100 people in glorious weather. We had the outdoor ceremony on the adjacent castle lawn. The whole ambiance is absolutely beautiful, the service and the food were excellent and really on point! Coffee and cake in the beer garden with the adjacent playground – very convenient. We felt very comfortable, and everything was very well organized. We received quick replies via email, and the team was super organized and always friendly. We spent the night in the hotel; it was a great combination of everything, and the entire grounds are absolutely beautiful! We highly recommend it! Bettina and Manuel

A very nice, shady beer garden. Fine beer from the in-house brewery at reasonable prices.

The three things (Obazda, potato cheese, cracklings) were all from the fridge, very cold and not edible with the soggy bread, and also very overpriced.

The Schlossbräu has a wonderful ambiance with its vaulted ceiling. It's rustically furnished, which adds a real charm. There's also a lovely beer garden. The food is both delicious and of excellent quality. The portions aren't exactly small. The entire team is friendly and accommodating. You can enjoy your meal here at reasonable prices.

Der Schlossbräu ist sehr geschmackvoll auf rustikalen Stil eingerichtet. Es beinhaltet auch die kleine Brauerei. Das Gewölbe ist wunderschön. Das Essen ist qualitativ wie geschmacklich sehr gut. Auch sind die Portionen nicht gerade klein. Es gibt auch einen sehr schönen Biergarten. Großes Lob an die Küche. Das Team ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein tolles Team am Start.

Today at Schlossbräu I ate the worst and most expensive sausage salad of my life.

Very nice restaurant, unfortunately the roast pork was too cold. It seemed to me as if it had just been thawed, but I could be wrong. Still, very friendly service.

We were here two weeks ago and were completely satisfied. Always friendly staff (even on the phone). The Reindl for four people was amazing.

We celebrated our wedding here in 2011 and a big birthday recently. Extraordinary atmosphere, the organization of the celebrations went smoothly and left plenty of room for individual wishes, and we received competent support. The service was excellent at both celebrations, as was the food. Prices are moderate for the extensive offering. We can only recommend this location! Our tip: definitely try the house beer, it's delicious!

Wonderful location, very professional with attention to detail. We felt completely comfortable.

We made a reservation, which worked perfectly online. Were welcomed very nicely by a young man and served all evening. He was very accommodating. The drinks and food came very quickly and tasted really delicious. You really can't say anything about the price. The atmosphere was something special and very pleasant. We would love to come back when we are in the area.

We recently had a brewery tour followed by a beer tasting at Franzi. She answered all of our questions and was very friendly. The entire restaurant and the brewery appear very well maintained and have a special charm, which is thanks to the caretaker Michi. We had a very nice evening and even our non-beer drinkers liked the beer.

A few weeks ago we did a brewery tour at Franzi. The tour was very interesting and well designed. What was particularly cool was that we were able to try different types of grain. The beer tasting that followed was also very nice. At the end we ate various roasts as well as dumplings and potatoes. The food was very good. And our waitresses Michi and Ingrid were very attentive and nice. We'll be back.

Disappointing food in a nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the roast pork was a bit too cold, the salad was served incorrectly, bread was very dry, Aperol only tasted like ice cubes and room temperature was too cold. Overall very disappointing and expected something better for the price

The Sunday buffet was very good. The roast beef and the tiramisu were the highlights for me. I would like to have a little more choice at the buffet. Not everyone likes roast beef. Fries and schnitzel wouldn't have been bad for the children. But then we ate our fill of the potato gratin👍 We would be happy to come back.

Die hausgebrauten Biere sind der absolute Hammer zu einem fairen Preis, aber für außerhalb von München wohl normal! Essen war richtig gut. Wir hatten das Cordon Bleu und das Gulasch, beides richtig gut.

Tolle bayrische Küche, perfekt ergänzt durch die selbstgebrauten Biere die wirklich gut schmecken es ist ein Genuss!

I was able to accompany a wonderful wedding here in the summer as a wedding photographer. The staff at Schlossbräu Mariakirchen was friendly and accommodating! The entire location with castle, inn, barn and hotel is spacious and ideal for a large group. I felt very comfortable. Gladly again sometime!

Everything was great, great tour again at any time

Wir hatten einen Tisch für 10 Personen bestellt, eingedeckt war schlampig und ohne irgendein "Extra" nur für 7 Personen. Servicepersonal war bereits bei Getränkebestellung leicht überfordert. Eine Zumutung war dann aber nicht nur die fast 1Stunde lange Wartezeit für die Speisen, sondern auch deren Qualität: Schweinebrateb hart und in einer dunkelroten pampigen "Packerlsauce", das Tartar grau wie vom Vortag, geschmacklos und mit Flachsen, die nicht verzehrt wurden. Das Lendensteak für 28 € sehr "übersichtlich" und von keiner erwähnenswerten Fleichqualität. LEIDER ! Preis--Leistungsverhältnis und Qualität und Ambiente/Service waren enttäuschend. Wir kommen nicht mehr wieder.

Wir haben hier unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und waren begeistert! Von der Beratung bis zum großen Tag hat alles super geklappt. Ihr habt ein tolles Team. Sehr gutes Essen - unser Desserbuffet war ein echtes Highlight.

Super! Gutes Essen mit Fleisch aus eigner Haltung. Wir waren dort im Hotel und haben eine Wanderung zu dem Bauernhof gemacht. So macht essen Spaß, wenn man weiß wie gut es den Tieren geht. Das gibt es wirklich selten.

We also celebrated our wedding here in September 2024 and were completely satisfied. You can tell in every conversation the great experience of the team on site. During the preparation, we clearly discuss what works in the planning and what doesn't. You receive suggestions for possible service providers from music to floral decorations and are guided through the planning. On the day of the festival, every employee was highly motivated, helpful and a safe bet in the event of small glitches in the process. In short: you feel in good hands.

If you like good home-style food with great kitchen and service, you've come to the right place We went there on a recommendation and had to go again on the last day of our vacation. We were so excited Dark beer goulash with red cabbage and dumplings. To melt away Liver spaetzle soup. Craziness. Absolutely recommended. A young woman (9/19/24 6:30 p.m.) served us absolutely perfectly. Helpful. Fast and reliable. A solution has been found for every wish. Rarely tip 10%. But she deserved it. Keep it up Brewery ambience. Also possible for very large groups. Many restaurateurs can learn a lesson from you.

Very nice brewery in summer with a very nice beer garden and in the rest of the time with an equally beautifully decorated restaurant. The beer is great, ins. the wheat beer is worth recommending. The food is also tasty and last but not least the service is super friendly.

Positiv: - Nette Bedienung im Innenbereich. - Portionen groß und geschmacklich sehr gut. - Schöne und ansprechende Einrichtung. - Biergarten lädt zum Verweilen ein. - Viele kostenlose Parkplätze vorhanden. Negativ: - Preise relativ hoch (ist nichts für zwischendruch).

We celebrated our dream wedding with you in September. The ambience, the service and the friendly staff are really awesome. The food was also excellent. Above all, we would like to thank Ms. Straßer and her team for the wonderful day. We felt sooooo comfortable. The tower suite for the wedding couple was a treat on top.

This beer garden has always been THE top address, but the snack times have not been good for some time now. The Erdäpfelkas, for example, tastes like ready-made mashed potatoes mixed with too little water and without any seasoning. Too bad! We don't go there anymore because we don't have enough money. If you just want to drink beer, then it's great!

Prices are outrageously expensive, quality is very poor compared to back then. I live less than 5km away and used to go there very often, unbelievable cheek! The promised high-quality meat comes from RO and not from Leiblfing as promised or certainly not everything. The main thing is that the end customer is deceived. It was really good. The sauna costs are also outrageous from €15 (per day) to €25!! Been increased. Is that still realistic? NO - just greedy.

We had a great team evening at the Schlossbräu - first an expert brewery tour by the extremely charming Lower Bavarian Franzi and then the beer tasting of the 4 standard varieties. Since tastes are always different - I liked the light one best... and it was quite tasty throughout the evening😉. There was also a fantastic Reindl full of delicacies made from meat, potatoes, really tasty bread dumplings and sauerkraut - so much that we couldn't finish it all despite the best teamwork. We were treated to Ingrid and Pia at the bar in the super cozy beer garden and later in the restaurant - a successful, very tasty and long evening! Thanks to the whole team

My look in the photo reveals how excited I was when I saw the location decorated for the first time! Simply beautiful and you can always be relied on - we are happy to recommend you at any time! PS: The dessert buffet was once again an absolute highlight that exceeded our expectations! The large variety of sweet desserts were brought into the location on the mobile table and there was even a small sprinkler in the Kaiserschmarrn - an absolute eye-catcher and enjoyed by everyone! Wir haben mit dem Wohnmobil zum 2ten mal hier halt gemacht weil es uns hier sehr gut gefällt. Der Biergarten ist spitze, gut durch organisiert und es geht alles schnell. Essen könnte etwas mehr Qualität haben. Bier ist klasse und alle Angestellte sind es auch. Leider fand ich das Frühstück nicht so gut Preis-Leistung stimmte hier für mich nicht. Aber das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau. Wir kommen gerne, wenn es passt, wieder.
