If you like good home-style food with great kitchen and service, you've come to the right place We went there on a recommendation and had to go again on the last day of our vacation. We were so excited Dark beer goulash with red cabbage and dumplings. To melt away Liver spaetzle soup. Craziness. Absolutely recommended. A young woman (9/19/24 6:30 p.m.) served us absolutely perfectly. Helpful. Fast and reliable. A solution has been found for every wish. Rarely tip 10%. But she deserved it. Keep it up Brewery ambience. Also possible for very large groups. Many restaurateurs can learn a lesson from you.

Very nice brewery in summer with a very nice beer garden and in the rest of the time with an equally beautifully decorated restaurant. The beer is great, ins. the wheat beer is worth recommending. The food is also tasty and last but not least the service is super friendly.

Positiv: - Nette Bedienung im Innenbereich. - Portionen groß und geschmacklich sehr gut. - Schöne und ansprechende Einrichtung. - Biergarten lädt zum Verweilen ein. - Viele kostenlose Parkplätze vorhanden. Negativ: - Preise relativ hoch (ist nichts für zwischendruch).

We celebrated our dream wedding with you in September. The ambience, the service and the friendly staff are really awesome. The food was also excellent. Above all, we would like to thank Ms. Straßer and her team for the wonderful day. We felt sooooo comfortable. The tower suite for the wedding couple was a treat on top.

Mega beautiful beer garden right at the castle. Great atmosphere and good food. As befits a “real” beer garden, of course everything is available self-service. Seating inside is offered with service.

This beer garden has always been THE top address, but the snack times have not been good for some time now. The Erdäpfelkas, for example, tastes like ready-made mashed potatoes mixed with too little water and without any seasoning. Too bad! We don't go there anymore because we don't have enough money. If you just want to drink beer, then it's great!

Prices are outrageously expensive, quality is very poor compared to back then. I live less than 5km away and used to go there very often, unbelievable cheek! The promised high-quality meat comes from RO and not from Leiblfing as promised or certainly not everything. The main thing is that the end customer is deceived. It was really good. The sauna costs are also outrageous from €15 (per day) to €25!! Been increased. Is that still realistic? NO - just greedy.

We had a great team evening at the Schlossbräu - first an expert brewery tour by the extremely charming Lower Bavarian Franzi and then the beer tasting of the 4 standard varieties. Since tastes are always different - I liked the light one best... and it was quite tasty throughout the evening😉. There was also a fantastic Reindl full of delicacies made from meat, potatoes, really tasty bread dumplings and sauerkraut - so much that we couldn't finish it all despite the best teamwork. We were treated to Ingrid and Pia at the bar in the super cozy beer garden and later in the restaurant - a successful, very tasty and long evening! Thanks to the whole team

We celebrated our wedding at the Schlossbräu in June 2024 and the day was simply perfect! Many thanks to the entire team for the all-day professional and helpful support, for the great food (which was really well received by all guests) and for the entire uncomplicated organization in advance! My look in the photo reveals how excited I was when I saw the location decorated for the first time! Simply beautiful and you can always be relied on - we are happy to recommend you at any time! PS: The dessert buffet was once again an absolute highlight that exceeded our expectations! The large variety of sweet desserts were brought into the location on the mobile table and there was even a small sprinkler in the Kaiserschmarrn - an absolute eye-catcher and enjoyed by everyone! Wir haben mit dem Wohnmobil zum 2ten mal hier halt gemacht weil es uns hier sehr gut gefällt. Der Biergarten ist spitze, gut durch organisiert und es geht alles schnell. Essen könnte etwas mehr Qualität haben. Bier ist klasse und alle Angestellte sind es auch. Leider fand ich das Frühstück nicht so gut Preis-Leistung stimmte hier für mich nicht. Aber das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau. Wir kommen gerne, wenn es passt, wieder.

Small burger for a big price! Unfortunately, the burger tasted almost exclusively of fat, and there wasn't really much of a side dish (fries). Beer was more lukewarm than cool, and served very slowly. The stars awarded are for the beautiful, cozy beer garden, but we won't be coming back to eat. A pity!

Hello, the beer garden is fine. Prices/performance is okay. Unfortunately we rarely come because we live about 150 km away. Beer has been very good so far. Unfortunately, when we visited yesterday, the beer wasn't good for our taste. Neither the scheps nor the light nor the dark one. I intentionally gave a 5 star review because I can completely understand how annoying all the other worse reviews are. I hope your beer tastes better next time

Nice beer garden. Food good, drinks good. The playground for the kids could be prepared a little better, and you can quickly get to the water via the paths in the forest, so that should be secured.

Thanks to the professionalism and commitment of a very talented young woman, the beer here tastes particularly good!!! A brewery tour with Franzi is definitely worth it...you'll be surprised at the new knowledge you go home with! Bravo Franzi!

Brewery tour - beer garden - food - very friendly staff - everything was great!

We were at the Schlossbräu with our company. After a warm welcome, the lady of the castle herself took us through the castle and told us about the history. Afterwards we were able to immerse ourselves in the interesting world of brewing with Franzi (the young brewer!). The shared meal afterwards (various roasts, dumplings, sauerkraut) was very delicious. Kathrin looked after us very well. I can't say anything about the price. I found the atmosphere and the friendliness of all the staff great.

Always good. A beautiful inn with a large beer garden

Never had such a bad beer (Voixfest Mariakirchen). The anticipation in the beer tent atmosphere of the Mariakrichner Voixfest was suddenly dampened after the first pull from the beer-like drink in the beer mug. I had never experienced anything so bad. If this wasn't an accident, you should reconsider the whole process. Otherwise you'll go bankrupt with such a (sorry) joke. I wasn't used to such quality in the past.

We've been coming here for a long time, the food was sometimes good, sometimes medium. Service cannot be judged in the beer garden, you get everything yourself and wipe the table yourself. It's great that you can bring your snack with you. Unfortunately, the playground is now in a dilapidated condition, and the gymnastics equipment around the castle pond is also rotten and dangerous to use. It's a shame that nothing is being done for the children...

We ate there today on the way back. The location is super great. What led to the bad rating was that the food - I had ordered matjes - turned out to be Bismarck herring. Totally sour and piping hot like the prepackaged from the discount store - practically inedible. The “service” consisted of “we put the food/drinks in the serving area”. The prices were pleasantly cheap for restaurants these days. 0.5 liters of Spezi for €3.30 is okay. Despite the mishap with the food, definitely recommended.

Absolute exorbitant prices. Just under 50€ for 2 sausage salads with 2 pretzels each and a sparsely stocked snack bread... 48.30€ I thought I wasn't hearing correctly. The gravelled beer garden and children's playground are covered in lawn and weeds. You can hardly see anything of the castle itself due to, in my opinion, poor tree care.

Wenn ich in der Nähe bin, steht ein Besuch im Schlossbräu Mariakirchen definitiv auf dem Programm. Die Speisekarte ist klar strukturiert und bietet alles, was man von einem typischen Brauhaus erwartet. Die Bestellungen werden schnell serviert, und das Personal ist überaus freundlich und erkundigt sich regelmäßig nach dem Wohlbefinden der Gäste.

We had our wedding at Schlossbräu Mariakirchen and it was really perfect. Very tasty food, friendly and attentive service and a fantastic location. Every one of our guests was thrilled. We can only recommend this location.

We had a small family celebration on May 31, 2024 and despite the short notice, we still got a nice place. The service is particularly noteworthy. Vicky and Michi (?) looked after the whole shop as a couple and were always courteous, always quick to help, appreciative and, above all, responsive to the guests. You can tell that they enjoy their work.

We had the burgers, they were well prepared. An additional BBQ option or a homemade brewery sauce would improve the offering. The children's schnitzel was a bit small, but acceptable. The restaurant is child friendly, which is a plus. The light beer was particularly tasty. The service was friendly and attentive. The beautiful beer garden in the courtyard is particularly worth mentioning. The prices were reasonable (some organic). Overall, a good choice for a relaxing time.

The Schlossbräu is definitely worth a visit. The Bräustüberl is very inviting with its vaults and brewing kettles, and the beer gardens are one of the most beautiful in Lower Bavaria in summer. The beer is good, the food is unfortunately very expensive and simply bad. It's best to eat an Obatzten with pretzels or a sausage salad.

We were there to eat sausage salad and had specially chosen this Bavarian one. As a vegetarian, I was happy that there was a cheese plate. The waiter said there was nothing with the sausage salad, nor with the cheese plate. So we ordered an extra pretzel. To Obazda, how else would it work? I specifically asked for bread. My son had ordered spaetzle with sauce, well. He hadn't eaten two spoonfuls of it. All in all it was too expensive for us. And even if the answer comes again - eating is not cheap with us; That's not what I'm concerned about. If it tastes good, I'm willing to pay at any price. But the Obazda is definitely not homemade, the sausage salad is definitely a matter of taste and the children's spaetzle was not edible for my child. I tried it myself. I can't define it. But good. Our opinion.53 euros for 2 adults and a child (one drink each) is too much for me. Of course we spoke to the waitress because in my opinion it's stupid to complain about something and not discuss it on site. The waitress explained to us; that there is no bread left with the sausage salad either because there was so much return and so much was thrown away. I can not judge. But I have now learned that there is nothing wrong with Bavarian sausage salad and a snack platter. In the future, we'll look in every other beer garden/tavern to see if there's something special there, and wherever we've looked since then, there's always bread. So have we learned something? In Mariakirchen you have to order extra. I don't want an answer and I don't expect one because I don't want to annoy myself any further. But after reading these reviews where you always answer with cheap eating, it annoys me.

Sausage salad very disappointing tasteless!

Wir kennen den Biergarten mit Mittagstisch seit Eröffnung des Schlossbräus. Früher waren die Speisen einfach aber frisch zubereitet und wirklich gut. Seit Umbau (bzw. Änderung des Fleischlieferanten) ist das Essen leider sehr überteuert und geschmacklich nicht annähernd das was es vorher war. Für gutes Essen bin ich bereit mehr zu zahlen. Aber Qualitätsverlust und Teuerung ist eine Kombi die nicht akzeptabel ist. Das Bier schmeckt nach wie vor gut, das Ambiente des Biergartens ist auch wunderbar, deshalb geben wir dem Schlossbräu immer wieder eine neue Chance.

The sausage salad is completely overpriced at €13.80 without bread or pretzels and was presented carelessly and tastelessly. Other dishes such as spaetzle with sauce and the Obatzte from the cheese plate did not give the impression of being home-made, the taste and consistency were strange. Bike tours definitely don't go there anymore. Unfortunately not recommended.

Totally overpriced sausage salad and not recommended in terms of taste. Plus without bread, it costs extra. Carelessly done. It's a shame, it was always a nice bike ride destination, but we're looking for something new.

The old brewery in Mariakirchen is a great restaurant, restored in the old, traditional style. The old vault of the brewery building is really impressive. Plus the shiny copper brewing pans in the restaurant. The restaurant is also ideal for family celebrations. A highlight is the roast reindl for the whole party when it is brought in on a trolley. In summer, the large beer garden in the shade of the large trees is one of the most beautiful in all of Lower Bavaria. There is also a playground for children next door. I celebrated my big birthday there with thirty people and was very satisfied.

Hello everyone, This is also my second time here on business (just like the hotel next door). So far it has always been super tasty and the staff was nice. One thing about the Viennese style schnitzel. I don't normally eat Viennese style, but this was soooo delicious. Clear recommendation. But the other dishes in the beer garden are also great.

Yesterday we were guests with 10 people. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Big praise for that. Kathi and the trainee in particular were very hard-working😊. Ich war zum Abendessen dort, hatte im Hotel daneben übernachtet. Empfang und Bedienung durch den Service war voll in Ordnung, mich stört es als Bayer vom Land auch gar nicht wenn ich mit Du angeredet werde (was nicht der ganze Service getan hat) weil ich mich so als gern gesehener Gast bestätigt fühle und nicht als zahlendes Neutrum. Aber das mag Jeder anders sehen. Mein Essen war sehr gut, hatte Kürbissuppe & Schlutzkrapfen (Spinat / Topfen Art) die für mich sehr nah an den "originalen" Südtiroler Schlutzkrapfen waren. Was ich an Essen sonst so alles gesehen hab hat gut ausgeschaut und die Leute wirkten nicht so, als ob es nicht geschmeckt hätte. Ja preislich ..... mei, was soll man denn sagen .... geschenkt wars nicht, aber teuer fand ich es jetzt auch nicht. Die Wirtschaft wird schon kalkulieren können und den Preis so ausgerechnet haben, dass sie den Laden baulich und mitsamt Personal am Laufen halten können. Da maße ich mir doch nicht an, was Anderes zu behaupten - für mich war Preis und Leistung OK. Und wenn der Wirt jetzt auch noch was an mir verdient hat, dann lass ich es ihm halt durchgehen, gell.

Ein Restaurant mit sehr schönem Ambiente und sehr nettem Personal! Kein Fachpersonal, dafür aber mit Herz. Wir fanden es super.

Service flexibel wie ne Bahnschiene. Nach länger Anreise am Hotel angekommen, waren wir um 21 Uhr am Schlossbräu und wollten noch ne Kleinigkeit. Wir wurden direkt abgewimmelt das es nicht mehr zu essen gibt (nicht mal paar Spätzle, Fritten oder Brotzeit). Hier sollte man die Öffnungszeiten und Informationen anpassen Montag - Samstag: Geöffnet ab 16:00 Uhr Sonntag & Feiertag: Geöffnet ab 11:00 Uhr (Durchgehend warme Küche) Gastfreundlichkeit gibt es nicht, zumindest sind wir anderes gewohnt.

Relativ laut und ungemütlich. Schweinebraten maximal mittelmäßig, sehr trocken und das Essen generell nur . lauwarm / warmgehalten. Bier allerdings lecker.
