It was really great back then, always big portions and great taste with friendly staff, now they have made a lot of food much smaller and more economical for the same price and you often get unfriendly from the staff...

Its a great brewery inside a mall. Not really crowded, but actually i don't know why.

The service here is really underground! Very, very unfriendly staff and also absolutely hostile to children! We came spontaneously in a larger group and although the 3/4 restaurant was free, we were asked to reserve a table in advance next time. A meal was accidentally ordered twice and it was no longer possible to cancel it 5 minutes later. The patty in the burger was ready / not freshly prepared, the fries were already cold.

I was eating with friends and their children, and although the restaurant was almost empty (only about 5 tables with 2-3 people each), the service was disastrous. As soon as I sat down, I noticed the waiter's annoyed look. He reluctantly took our order, and when the drinks came, a child accidentally spilled something while passing it on. Instead of fixing the mishap, the waiter just looked annoyed and didn't even wipe. When we signaled to the other waitress that we wanted to order something else, she just rolled her eyes in annoyance. The food was okay, although some dishes arrived cold, as if they had just been reheated. What I found worst was the waiter's statement that we should make a reservation next time so that they would be prepared...even though the place was almost empty! Shortly afterwards we saw the service staff looking bored on their cell phones. Unfriendly service, average food and the feeling of being unwanted - we definitely won't be coming back here. Giving 1 star is even too generous

It can be seen that it is actually a very good German beer hall, but since it was opened in a shopping center, it may have lost its original appearance. When I was there on Saturday evening there were only two or three tables of people. It's a shame to watch.

You can eat well at moderate prices. The service is friendly and quick. Not to forget the great location. To feel good and be amazed. I recommend the blonde beer. Very digestible.

I was there for dinner yesterday. The prices are now very high for the performance that you later have on your plate. In the end I wasn't full either... I also ordered an extra salad plate because I saw on the neighboring tables that the portions were quite manageable. I chose meat patties with potato salad. The planters were a disaster, they fell apart like a tasteless crumb cake with no consistency, and the planter had no roasting or color from the frying. But drowned in probably dark ready-made sauce. It's really really bad to spend something like that in Bavaria... The potato salad was ok, the side salt for 4.90 euros was the best part of the whole meal. Guys, sorry, that was really nothing, I can do the whole thing better at home without cooking skills.

Wir haben heute Abend hier zu Abend gegessen. Beim Betreten wurden wir nicht freundlich empfangen. Die Kellnerin fragte hastig und unfreundlich, ob wir etwas trinken wollten. Wir bestellten ein Bier und eine Fanta, sie kommt mit der größten Größe zurück. Wir schauen uns dann die getränkekarte an und sehen, dass man zwischen 0,3 und 0,5 wählen kann. Ohne uns zu fragen, welche größe wir wollen, bringt sie die größte und damit teuerste mit. Wir fragen, ob wir statt Pommes auch Bratkartoffeln zum Schnitzel bekommen können. Verärgert sagt sie, dass das nicht möglich sei und dass sie auch weg seien. Wenig später sehen wir einen Mann neben uns, der Bratkartoffeln isst! Die Schnitzel waren geschmacklos und zäh, zu den Pommes bekamen wir eine Tüte Mayonnaise und Ketchup auf den Teller. Als sie nach ein paar minuten fragte, ob wir noch etwas trinken wollten, zeigte ich auf mein glas und fragte, warum sie nicht gefragt habe, wie viel wir wollten und dass ich es nicht einmal austrinken könne ... geschweige denn mehr wollte! Sie lacht verächtlich und zuckt mit den Schultern. Wir haben mit ihr über ihr Verhalten gesprochen und gesagt, dass sie nicht freundlich ist. Eine Kollegin sagt dann, dass sie die Beste ist, was ein gutes Zeichen für die anderen Kollegen ist. Das war einmal, aber nie wieder! (Aus dem Niederländischen übersetzt)

The food is very tasty, but the prices are too high... We enjoyed eating the Braumeister schnitzel - it costs over 20 euros!!!! Considering that there is only a potato salad and not a salad plate like in other restaurants...completely overdone!

Monday lunchtime, half of the benches in the entrance area were raised up, looked like they were in a furniture warehouse. Food was nothing! Tk schnitzel and potato salad from the bucket - I've hardly eaten worse in any canteen, but for half the price! The next time I go shopping in West Park I'll get something from Subway that tastes better and is cheaper

I like your brewery, I've been there many times, or rather, every time we visit Westpark we drink a glass of our favorite blonde beer. Unfortunately, the impression of the brewery spoils the service of your employee. Namely women with dyed red hair. If the amount of our bill is less than 10 euros, it refuses to accept payment by bank card or offers to pay 10 euros instead of 8.80, that is, 1.20 euros more. According to her, a payment of less than 10 euros via a bank terminal is not possible, but such a situation did not occur with other employees. It's not about 1.20 euros, but about the attitude towards the customer. This spoils the impression of the brewery, so if we see that it works that day, we don't go in so as not to spoil our mood.

Had dinner there yesterday. You can't recommend it. Currywurst with a handful of fries 12.20. Not even a small salad. The best years of this economy are probably over. Star for the service, otherwise unfortunately nothing.

More bad than good. Went there this afternoon and thought we would “quickly fortify ourselves before going shopping”. The restaurant was only half full. 25 minutes had passed before we could order a drink. We already knew what we wanted to eat and the waitress said “I’ll come right away”. Another 20 minutes passed. Then she finally came back and brought us the drinks. After 45 minutes we were finally allowed to order. Chicken nuggets with fries, Kaiserschmarrn, cream schnitzel with spaetzle and a mixed side salad. In the meantime, many possible guests came and went. The waiting didn't just spoil the overall picture for us. 25 minutes later the food came. But only the nuggets, the rest took another 12 minutes. After almost 1.5 hours of waiting, the side salad was forgotten as it was simply soaked in sauce. Kaiserschmarrn was good, child was happy with nuggets and fries, but the cream schnitzel was steep for the price. The sauce (probably) wasn't homemade. The spaetzle is homemade from far away. A pack from Aldi would have done the trick. The ambience itself is great, but needs improvement. Service in my opinion: untrained, slow, listless, unmotivated and not particularly hospitable. Sad! The Bavarian pub culture doesn't deserve this. It's a shame they can't keep up with so few guests. It's no wonder that within 1.5 hours people preferred to leave rather than wait 20 minutes until they were finally “allowed” to order.

We hadn't been there for 8 years and were very disappointed. What happened to the brewery? The menu has shrunk massively - but okay. I'm shocked at the prices! The menu on the www is not up to date - the difference was €5. For 20€ a Munich schnitzel... Sorry, but it wasn't worth it. 2 small and thin schnitzels with lots of breading, potato salad (I'm still deciding whether it was from the Walk or not), a little extra horseradish, 1 slice of orange with a dollop of cranberries and a salad garnish. It tasted good, but nothing extraordinary. This price is massively overpriced - even if you consider that you have to pay more rent here in Westpark. From the service: we sat down at a table that hadn't been wiped down and the drinks were still stuck on it. We then moved around. Later a man sat down at the table and ate a pretzel and when he left, it wasn't wiped down again. And it's not because you can't get there - I don't know as few people as there were this time. No, you have a lot of time - but it's much more important to stand behind the counter and constantly be busy with your cell phone. Dishes that have been cleared away are collected and taken back to the kitchen at some point - and probably only by the "little ones". There's something like Plexiglas on the counter that looks very shabby - no matter what it is or is supposed to be, it doesn't have a positive effect and you could put it somewhere else or come up with something else. I don't know what happened but we didn't have a good impression, plus the prices were off the charts - it was disappointing and we won't be going there again.

Ordering takes forever until the food arrives.... The food is then lukewarm and banished. Then it takes forever until someone comes to clear it and you can pay...we won't go here anymore

Men's paradise when women go shopping. 😏 We men always find something suitable here and my wife always knows that I'm doing well here. The hospitality is friendly, quick and forthcoming.

Nice atmosphere, we had to wait over an hour for the food in an empty restaurant and then it wasn't really good. Keller nice, but also not very tangible.

You can sit very comfortably in the back area. The food is good. It used to be open longer, so we often went out to eat when it closed.

First of all: you have to be aware that this is a restaurant in the shopping center that is geared towards large crowds. We were there at an unusual time and were therefore almost the only guests, so the service was correspondingly quick. The facility is quaint and spacious. Now about the food: My companion had the mushroom cream schnitzel. It was average in terms of taste and quantity, neither particularly good nor bad, but worth the price. I had the BBQ burger and it was really, really good. To be honest, I didn't expect that at all. Since we moved to Ingolstadt 4 years ago, we have been searching in vain for a burger joint that can hold a candle to our favorite local joint from home. There isn't a large selection or special side dishes here (you won't find sweet potato fries or wedges here) but the burger itself was, in my opinion, the best I've had in the area so far. Definitely a big recommendation!

Yesterday I had dinner with two friends. The roast pork was tough as leather and the Diet Coke - without any indication - was a syrup that you couldn't drink. BUT the 2 lovely waitresses (mother and daughter as it turned out) smoothed things over with their charm and their attentive nature. We will therefore give the brewery another chance! Therefore 4 points thanks to the service. Otherwise it would only be 2 points or less.

Yesterday we were back at 1516 for a long time and were looking forward to the food. That was nothing. My pork knuckle was bone dry and nothing came off the meat. It's probably been there for a while. Maybe it's better at peak times. I won't find out, I won't go there anymore.

Certainly not to be found everywhere: your own brewery in the shopping center! Interestingly, right next to the largest fitness center in the city - a rogue who thinks evil... and so the interested guest is spoiled for choice: first train, then consume? Or skip training today? The delicious 1516 beer, named after the year in which the German Purity Law was enacted in Ingolstadt, crowned with a super-friendly culinary delight... Come on, Lent is now over...

In the middle of Westpark, delicious food, great service. It's part of a visit to Westpark for us.

The burgers were totally dry and crumbly. The prices are completely overpriced (18 euros for the burger). Wasn't even close to full. Food came staggered and not at the same time. When the waiter asked us if we liked it, we shook our heads cautiously. He didn't care and just left. No more!!

Good food with reasonable portions.

Unfortunately it has deteriorated a lot We didn't like the food, the sauce was far too runny and bland, the service was unfriendly and it's just too expensive for what you get. Nothing is homemade spaetzle out of the packaging and steaks out of the tk. You can get better food at a cheaper price in a Bavarian tavern. It used to be better, unfortunately it won't come back anymore.

The food was too expensive for the quantity and after a short time the cheese spaetzle tasted like the pan in which it was served, but the taste wasn't significantly better beforehand. The service was incredibly unfriendly and slow but always had time to chat with people we knew In some cases, guests who asked for the bill later are charged earlier.

We went in for a beer, we weren't allowed to buy it at the bar or order it in person, we had to wait almost 20 minutes for someone to come and serve us, and at that time there were maybe 4 tables occupied.

Kultige Location im Westpark-Center, man kann sich dort dem Trubel vom Center schön entziehen! Leider sind die Angaben über die verschiedenen Schärfegrade bei der Currywurst maßlos übertrieben. Wenn Thai chilli in der Karte steht und über dem Curryketchup der Wurst dann ein paar Flocken getrocknete chillis oder Pepperonis sind haut das nicht ganz hin. Aber die Currywurst war von der Menge und Geschmack gut 👍🏼

Update from July 17th, 2021: Very hungry after shopping 1516 is not far and always delicious... I thought....The burgers are absolutely not recommended, for prices beyond €10 the price-performance ratio is lousy, I even had to return a burger because the buns were completely burnt. The second was just bearable. A baked potato I ordered was actually just mushy and soft. Unfortunately, I was very unpleasantly surprised by the food on this visit. I hope that the next visit will be different. November 4th: Unfortunately there is no improvement in sight...we ate here today, unfortunately I have to say this was our last visit here. The Brauer Größtl was swimming in fat and was, I would call it, neutral in taste. We also ordered a burger which was okay. Unfortunately, I have to say the rest is not a culinary masterpiece today. The service was nice and friendly as always. Was there again today on January 3rd, 2024.... In short: it hasn't gotten any better...unfortunately

Essen war okay Convenience halt.... Große Portionen. Typisch bayrische Küche

Das Essen ist unterschiedlich, Matjesfilet mit Salzkartoffeln eine Katastrophe, Kartoffeln vorwiegend blaue Flecken und fast kalt, Matjes eine Soße fast nur Majo, wenig Gurken dafür zuviele Zwiebeln. Hab es fast ganz zurück gehen lassen. Kürbiscremesuppe ein Gedicht, geschmacklich super und die Konsistenz schön cremig.

Die Einrichtung entspricht nicht die dem Einkaufszentrum und man erlebt zum Einkauf eine kleine Auszeit. Bedienungen sind nett und und so wie man sich das vorstellt (es muss nicht wie so oft erwartet, jeder mit Schallgeschwindigkeit unterwegs sein). Das Bier 1516 traf nicht meinen Geschmack, der BBQ Burger war geschmacklich sehr gut, er hätte nach meinem Gusto besser durch sein dürfen ( Nachfrage bei der Bestellung, wäre jetzt nicht schlecht). Preise sind der Situation geschuldet akzeptabel.

Essen war gut, Service sehr gut, relativ teuer....

Schnitzel sehr gut, von der Currywurst ist abzuraten, Preise sind okay. Johannisbeerschorle war sehr vedünnt, daher nicht zu empfehlen. Komische Lampe die geblendet hat. Alles in einem hat es gepasst.

Wir waren heute Abend im 1516, da wir es aus der Vergangenheit kannten. Damals war das Bier und das Essen gut. Unser Besuch heute war äußerst ernüchternd und enttäuschend und wir werden trotz gutem Bier das 1516 nie wieder besuchen. Wir hatten uns auf gutes Bier und Essen gefreut. Leider war das ein Reinfall. Es war wahnsinnig zugig und kalt und wir haben den Platz wechseln müssen, da es einfach nur ungemütlich war. Dann waren sowohl Fleischpflanzerl und auch Schweinebraten aus und wir dachten mit dem Brotzeitbrettl können wir nichts falsch machen. Weit gefehlt, noch nie haben wir schlechter gegessen. Nichts war frisch geschnitten, alles eiskalt, geschmacklos und vertrocknet. Die Tomaten vergammelt und selbst das Brot in der Mitte noch fast gefroren. Auf unsere Kritik hat die Kellnerin nur geantwortet, das könne nicht sein und sie selbst würde kein Brotzeitbrettl essen. Unser Fazit, trotz gutem Bier, werden wir nie mehr kommen, da sich nichts ändern wird. Wir wurden überhaupt nicht gesehen und ernst genommen. Schade…..

Das Essen war mittelmäßig und viel teuerer als auf der Internetseite. Die Bratkartoffeln waren sehr lätschig,das Fleisch (Zwiebelrostbraten) hingegen war lecker. Das Essen von meinem Mann ging ziemlich zügig dafür musste ich um so länger warten da die Bedienung mein Essen an einen anderen Gast ausgab der nach uns kam und das selbe bestellt hatte. Die Bedienung war zudem sehr unfreundlich. Wir gehen da nicht mehr hin.....

Das Essen war sehr fettig und ohne viel Geschmack. Das Sauerkraut hat überhaupt nicht geschmeckt und war sehr trocken. Die Preise und das Ambiente sind okay. Das Hauseigene Bier war lecker!

Das Brauhaus ist sehr gemütlich und einladend gestaltet. Das Essen...naja ich denke überwiegend TK Fertigprodukte und Eimersalate. Nicht wirklich lecker. Wir hatten Fisch , Champion Rahm -Semmelknödel und Salat. Sehr salzig alles und geschmacklich eher "künstlich". Die Kellnerin war sehr nett und bemüht. Die Preise sind ok.

Kenn das Brauhaus 1516 seit paar Jahren. Es befindet sich im Westpark, einem Einkaufszentrum in Ingolstadt. Für Kinder gibt es im Einkaufszentrum ein Bällebad, für die Frauen was zum shoppen und für uns Männer ein gutes Bier.Man kann sehr gut Essen im Brauhaus, hatte Brezenschnitzel und ein Radler.Preis Leistung ist in Ordnung. Kann das Brauhaus gerne weiterempfehlen. Personal ist freundlich und der Service ist gut

Käsespätzle waren sehr sehr lecker! Das Salat dazu war auch optimal. Wir waren zu einer sehr ruhigen Zeit im Westpark, weshalb kann starker Betrieb war. Kellnerin war sehr freundlich! Komme gerne wieder.

Die Portion ist so ausreichend gewesen das man gesättigt ist und zu dem auch wenn man es nicht schaffen sollte es mit bekommt in einer sicheren Packung. Mein Partner und ich sind mega begeistert, zu dem die Kellner/in auch mega freundlich zu uns war. Kommen immer wieder gerne. Danke

Essen war (im Vergleich zu früher) wirklich der Hammer. Burger war echt Medium und super lecker. Zwiebelrostbraten war eine recht große Portion, ebenfalls perfekt Medium und geschmacklich sehr gut. Selbst die Ofenkartoffel ist eine riesige Portion. Preis-Leistung passt super. Empfehlenswert 👍🏻

Sowohl die Gerichte mit Fleisch und vegetarisch schmecken sehr gut. Diesmal hatte ich den Gemüsestrudel und war sehr zufrieden. Alle Portionen, auch die für Kinder, sind großzügig. Die Speisen werden appetitlich auf dem Teller präsentiert. Preis Leistung stimmt auf jeden Fall. Bedienung freundlich und schnell.

Die Qualität des Essens ist sehr durchschnittlich und man hat nicht das Gefühl besonders willkommen zu sein. Das Lokal schließt normalerweise um 22:00 Uhr, auf diesen Umstand wird man bereits um 21:15 Uhr hingewiesen und ab 21:30 Uhr steht das Personal mit Jacke bekleidet am Ausgang und wartet, dass man endlich bezahlt und das Lokal verlässt. Gastfreundschaft sieht anders aus. Ich kann das Lokal nicht empfehlen und werde dort auch sicher kein Geld mehr lassen.

Schweinshaxe - hard!!. Putensteak klein, Gesalzene Bohnen und Sauer, Kräuterquark Stinkt nach Kühlschrank und Schimmel. Tafelspitz - hard!! One Salat du musst ekstra selbst bestellen.. Spätzle für Kind Stinkt nach Kühlschrank und nicht frisch!!! Wenn du kommst mit Kind musst du selbst suchen Ein Kinderstuhl!!!! Bedingung Unfreundlich!!!

Das Brauhaus 1516 ist ein durchschnittlich gutes bayerisches Restaurant im Westpark Ingolstadt. Die Speisekarte bietet für jeden Geschmack eine gute Auswahl. Ambiente eher dunkel, da kaum Tageslicht. Der Service war sehr nett, zuvorkommend und schnell. Der Salat mit Thunfisch war okay, das Essig/Öl-Dressing leider sehr sauer. Die Zutaten frisch, aber mittlere Qualität. Die Currywurst mit Pommes wirklich gut, tolle Sauce, die Pommes perfekt frittiert. Alles in allem ok. Preise angemessen.

Das Bier ist nach wie vor sehr gut. Putenschnitzel mit Pommes: Schnitzel nicht durchgebraten, Pommes total weich und blass. Lauwarm! Hackbraten mit Spätzle Geschmack sehr gut aber kalt. Nach Reklamation hätten wir es in die Mikrowelle stellen lassen können, geht gar nicht! Der Tisch war total schmutzig und übersäht mit Salz. Wir haben mit einer Serviette abgewischt und die war danach total schmutzig. Die Sauberkeit der Tische läßt zu wünschen.

Urig eingerichtetes bayerisches Lokal im Westpark-Ingolstadt. Das Personal ist freundlich und schnell. Das angebotene Bier ist sehr gut und süffig. Die angebotenen Speisen sind nach meiner Meinung bereits vorgekocht, da ab Bestellung bis zum Auftragen des Essens nur wenige Minuten vergehen. Wer es sehr eilig hat ist dort bestens aufgehoben. Zur Ehrenrettung muss ich sagen, dass die Gerichte alle schmackhaft sind. Mein besonderer Tipp: Der Kartoffelsalat ist selbst gemacht und schmeckt vorzüglich.

Das Brauhaus 1516 eignet sich gut um gut bürgerliche Küche zu genießen. Als Getränk würde ich das hauseigene Bier empfehlen. Da es im Westpark, also einem Großen Einkaufzentrum liegt, kann man den Besuch gleich mit einem ausgelassenem Einkauf verbinden. Vom EInkaufstrubel im Restaurant bekommt man jedoch nichts mit.

Unfreundliches Personal, das Essen kommt schnell aber ist kalt und schmecken tut es auch nur Mittelklasse für den Preis.

Das Brauhaus 1516 befindet sich mitten im Westparkshoppingcenter, ist aber dennoch wirklich hübsch und passend eingerichtet. Wir tranken zwei ganz gute Biere und aßen zwei Suppen. Geschmacklich passend, aber nichts Überragendes. Die Bedienung war in Ordnung, etwas freundlich hätte man jedoch schon sein können. Alles in allem eigentlich keine "sehr gute" Wertung, ein "befriedigend" ist aber eigentlich zu wenig. Schade, dass es bei tripadvisork kein einfach nur "gut" gibt, das würde hier passen.

We had lunch here, after shopping in Westpark Mall. Good german food and very nice service. Worth going there, if you want to have a good lunch. Prices are also good. We paid 33€ for 2 main dishes including drinks.

Das Personal ist eher unfreundlich das Essen kam zwar teilweise schnell , aber bei 10 Personen und 4 verschiedenen Gerichten kann man eigentlich erwarten, das der erste nicht schon lange fertig ist, bevor der letzte sein Essen bekommt. Und nein, es war nicht sehr voll. Das kann also nicht der Grund gewesen sein. Bürger waren geschmacklich ok, aber die Brötchen hatten etwas von Fertigaufbackware minderer Qualität.
