My boyfriend brought me here for a date. The owner was super creepy and stared at me. Not in a friendly way either. The food tasted nothing like what I was used to when I lived in France. There’s a big up charge on the wine.

This is French restaurant but a little bit "à la mode allemande". The presentation of the dishes were really fine and the quantities were according to german standards which if fine, but too much for me. There was a bit of lack of "finesse" in the taste. I was entertaining American family members and wanting to show them what French cuisine was like. For them it was fine but for me (being French) I was disappointed even though it was so much better than almost all the German cuisine that I ever tasted. A good point for the good selection of French wine (rare in Germany) Price / quality ratio is not the great

On April 24, 2025, my wife and I wanted to round off our stay in Berlin in style with a special lunch at the Brasserie-Quarré. From the asparagus menu we ordered: - 2x salad - 1x soup - 2x 300 g asparagus spears plus side dishes There was also a bottle of water and a dessert including a cappuccino to share. For this experience we paid €235 (including tip). Of course, expensive food and drinks are generally neither surprising nor offensive at an institution like the Adlon. Nevertheless, in retrospect I look at this price with bewilderment when I put it in relation to the overall quality offered. Our table was reserved for 1:30 p.m. We showed up on time and ordered quickly. It then took the Brasserie Quarré a total of more than three hours (!!!) to serve the above-mentioned food and drinks. After this almost surreal experience, we left the restaurant around 4:45 p.m. and could hardly believe what had just happened. More than three hours for two salads, a soup, two main courses and a dessert. More than three hours. Whatever may have been going on behind the scenes that day, something like that is completely unreasonable and would at the very least call for appropriate compensation. However, this did not happen at all, apart from a friendly request for an apology. We were lucky that we hadn't planned any other things to do in Berlin on this sunny spring day, apart from going to a concert in the evening. Otherwise they would have been badly ruined by this blatant display of organizational incompetence. In view of the fatal underperformance in service described, the quality of the food almost becomes an insignificant side note. However, it should not go unmentioned that this was also absolutely unworthy of a menu costing over €200. This isn't meant to be a vituperative review; That's why I'm happy to honestly admit that the salad, the soup and the crème brûlée tasted excellent. Unfortunately, the opposite was true for the main course, the most important part of the menu. The asparagus tasted less delicate and aromatic than the one I prepared at home from the weekly market. My wife's corn-fed chicken wasted its life in vain because it was fried so mercilessly dry. My salmon fillet cooked on the skin tasted only average. And to top it all off, the potatoes that were served to us as a side dish were almost raw! Could we have complained directly on site about the poor preparation of our main courses? Yes. Did we still have the motivation to do this after three hours of grueling waiting? No. Instead, we just wanted to pay and leave. Due to the legendary reputation of the Adlon, but also due to the prices that perfectly match its legendary status, our expectations were rightly very high in the run-up to the visit. The Brasserie Quarré couldn't even begin to live up to this.

Ich war bei der standesamtlichen Trauung meiner Cousine in dieser Location dabei, und leider war die Erfahrung alles andere als zufriedenstellend. Der Service war kaum spürbar: Das Essen wurde einfach auf den Tisch gestellt, und danach haben wir das Personal nicht mehr gesehen. Es war offensichtlich, dass an Mitarbeitern gespart wurde, denn niemand kümmerte sich weiter um uns oder fragte, ob wir noch etwas benötigen. Besonders enttäuschend war die Abrechnung. Obwohl meine Cousine eine klare Anzahl an Speisen bestellt hatte, wurden plötzlich mehr Gerichte in Rechnung gestellt. Als wir das freundlich ansprachen und eine Lösung suchten, wurde uns keine konstruktive Antwort gegeben. Stattdessen reagierte man abweisend und sogar persönlich, obwohl wir die Situation sachlich und lösungsorientiert klären wollten. Für einen so wichtigen Anlass war das eine sehr enttäuschende Erfahrung, und ich kann diese Location leider nicht empfehlen.
