Brasserie Quarré in Berlin

Wir wollten uns an einem Sonntag Kaffee und Kuchen auf der Terrasse gönnen. Vor Ort wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass Hunde dort seit dem 1. Juni nicht mehr erlaubt sind. Eine sehr enttäuschende Änderung und für uns absolut frustrierend. Deshalb kommen wir leider nicht wieder.

Mein Mann und ich übernachteten im Hotel Adlon. Wir hatten keinen Tisch auf der Terrasse reserviert und freuten uns daher, an diesem heißen Sommertag noch einen Platz zu bekommen. Wir bestellten eine Flasche Wasser und eine Flasche Weißwein. Der Kellner brachte die Weinflasche, aber ohne Gläser und ohne Weinkühler. Nach 40 Minuten bekamen wir endlich zwei Weingläser – immer noch kein Wasser. Wir fragten viermal nach dem Wasser, bis ich schließlich aufstand und mit der Managerin sprach. Sie brachte uns dann eine Flasche Wasser, aber ohne Gläser. Eine Stunde später waren wir bei fast 40 Grad Celsius sehr durstig. Das Essen kam dann endlich… Es war nicht das beste, das ich je gegessen habe, und die Portionen waren sehr klein. Anschließend gingen wir noch in ein italienisches Restaurant, um etwas zu essen.

Wir möchten uns ganz herzlich beim Chefkellner sowie beim gesamten Team der Brasserie Carré bedanken. Unser Besuch war ein rundum gelungenes Erlebnis, und wir haben uns von Anfang bis Ende ausgesprochen wohlgefühlt. Besonders gefreut hat uns, dass wir den von uns gewünschten Platz erhalten haben. Darüber hinaus konnten wir einen bereits vorhandenen Gutschein problemlos einlösen und mit unserem Aufenthalt kombinieren. Diese Flexibilität und Kundenfreundlichkeit wissen wir sehr zu schätzen. Das Essen war hervorragend, qualitativ hochwertig und ausgesprochen lecker. Auch der Service war aufmerksam, professionell und gleichzeitig angenehm herzlich. Man merkt, dass hier großer Wert auf Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird. Wir waren während unseres Besuchs Gäste im Hotel Adlon und fanden es besonders schön, dass sich die hohe Servicequalität des Hauses auch in der Brasserie Carré widerspiegelt. Die Preise bewegen sich selbstverständlich im gehobenen Segment, was angesichts der Lage, Qualität und des Services nachvollziehbar ist. Wir würden uns jedoch wünschen, dass das aktuelle Preisniveau möglichst beibehalten wird, da aus unserer Sicht bereits ein angemessenes Niveau erreicht ist. Als kleine persönliche Anregung würden wir uns wünschen, dass die Brasserie ihrer deutschen Küchenausrichtung treu bleibt. Gerade das macht einen Teil ihres besonderen Charmes aus und passt hervorragend zum traditionsreichen Ambiente des Adlon. Auch der Außenbereich könnte aus unserer Sicht künftig noch etwas stärker an den klassischen Stil des Hauses angepasst werden. Obwohl wir im Innenbereich saßen, haben wir den Außenbereich gesehen. Die aktuelle Bistro- bzw. Café-Bestuhlung wirkt auf uns eher funktional und passt aus unserer persönlichen Sicht nicht ganz zu der klassischen Eleganz und Hochwertigkeit, für die das Adlon weltweit bekannt ist. Wir könnten uns dort eine etwas exklusivere, zeitlosere Gestaltung vorstellen, die den besonderen Charakter des Hauses noch besser unterstreicht. Dies ist selbstverständlich nur unser persönlicher Eindruck. Ebenfalls empfinden wir die Bezeichnung „Brasserie Carré“ als etwas überraschend. Aus unserer persönlichen Sicht würde ein etwas klassischerer Name, angelehnt an die traditionsreiche Geschichte des Hauses – ähnlich wie beim Lorenz Adlon Esszimmer – noch besser zum besonderen Charakter und zur Eleganz des Adlon passen. Dies ist selbstverständlich Geschmackssache und lediglich eine kleine Anregung unsererseits. Insgesamt waren wir rundum zufrieden und vergeben deshalb sehr gerne fünf Sterne. Vielen Dank an den Chefkellner und das gesamte Team für einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder und freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Besuch. Herzliche Grüße!

Wir hatten für sieben Personen reserviert und wurden an einem angenehmen Tisch platziert. Das Essen, inklusive Suppen, Vorspeisen, Hauptgerichten und Desserts, war gut – aber bei Weitem nicht so hervorragend, wie es den Preis rechtfertigen würde. Wein und Getränke waren ebenfalls gut. Was den Service angeht, ist der Grat zwischen akzeptabler, gutmütiger Berliner Frechheit und unverschämter Unhöflichkeit schmal. Unser Hauptkellner überschritt diese Grenze mehrmals. So sehr, dass einige Familienmitglieder sogar „chemische Gründe“ vermuteten (was natürlich reine Spekulation ohne jegliche Beweise ist). Zwei andere Kellner hingegen erledigten ihre Arbeit tadellos. Wir hoffen, dass ein angemessener Teil unseres Trinkgelds in ihren Taschen landet. Außerdem hatten wir nie den Eindruck, dass die Kleiderordnung auf der Terrasse vor unserem Fenster irgendeine Bedeutung hatte. Insgesamt war das Erlebnis eher enttäuschend, insbesondere angesichts der stolzen Rechnung von über 100 € pro Person.

Ich hatte um 14:00 Uhr reserviert und erwartete eigentlich Hähnchen oder Pasta, aber die Speisekarte bot nur Snacks an. Also bestellte ich einen Caesar Salad, der zwar in Ordnung war, aber den Preis nicht wert. Ich bestellte stilles Wasser und bekam Mineralwasser – zum Glück hatte ich noch kaltes stilles Wasser in meiner Flasche. Die Atmosphäre war toll, da das Wetter schön war und man einen herrlichen Blick auf das Brandenburger Tor hatte. Der Service war sehr gut.

Noch ein wunderschönes Abendessen! Brasserie Quarré ist wirklich toll und das Personal, unter der Leitung von Romano ist erforragend! Besonders erwähnt werden müssen: Pascal, Albert, Supi und Marlene!

Das Essen war gut, die Austern und das Schnitzel haben mir geschmeckt. Allerdings wurde das Erlebnis durch den Personalmangel getrübt, wodurch wir lange warten mussten und uns wunderten. Ich denke, sie waren überfordert, aber das entschuldigt keine subtile Unhöflichkeit.

Die Currywurst ist ihren völlig überhöhten Preis nicht wert! Totaler Touri-Nepp! Kann man sich absolut sparen.

Tolle Terrasse mit sehr leckerem Essen

Tolle Terrasse mit einem netten und flotten Serviceteam. Für mich ist es unbegreiflich, dass Personen, die gar keine Gäste waren, eine schlechte Rezension schreiben dürfen – nur weil sie verärgert waren, nicht auf der Terrasse sitzen zu dürfen. Wir haben die Situation als Gäste selbst mitbekommen: Es wurde in angetrunkenem Zustand sehr rüde und unhöflich darauf gedrängt, dort Platz zu nehmen. Das Verhalten des Teams war dabei absolut nachvollziehbar und professionell.

Unglaubliches hier erlebt. Mit einer Gruppe von 6 Personen kamen wir zum Quarré um nach einer Graduation Feier hier einen Aperitif zu nehmen. Die Dame an der Terrasse begrüßte uns und gab uns unmittelbar zu verstehen, dass wir mit 6 Personen nicht zusammen an einem Tisch sitzen können. Grund hierfür sei, dass der Service dann nicht mehr bedienen könne weil wir ggf. den Gang versperren. Auf unsere Nachfrage ob wir vielleicht in dem leeren Teil des Restaurants (siehe Foto) an zwei Tischen nebeneinander sitzen könnten bekamen wir ebenfalls eine Absage und wurden ziemlich unhöflich weiter geschickt. Diese nicht vorhandene Flexibilität und fehlende Kompetenz einer Gruppe von 6!!! Menschen einen Platz anzubieten ist, für das erste Haus am Platz absolut inakzeptabel. Man beachte bitte die Fotos der Auslastung der Terrasse. Man würde erwarten, dass man den Wünschen seiner Gäste in so einem gehobenen Laden konstruktiver begegnet - Schade. 18.04.2026 - 16:10 Uhr

Die CurryWurst ist einfach phantastisch, es stimmte alles. Meine Frau hatte den VegiBurger, sie war überglücklich....für einen freien Nachmittag zum Bummelabschluss ist es hier ideal. Beim nächsten Besuch werden wir mit unseren Freunden aus Paris vorbei schauen...ganz wunderbar.

Heute waren wir bei frühlingshaftem Wetter zum Lunch in der Brasserie Quarré zu Gast und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Restaurantleiter hat uns direkt einen schönen Fensterplatz angeboten, eine nette Geste, über die wir uns sehr gefreut haben. Das Daily Dish war sehr gut und rundete unseren Besuch gelungen ab. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ich hätte 5 Sterne gegeben, aber mein Problem ist, dass solche Lokale sich immer an Stereotypen und die High Society anbiedern. Sobald diese Leute Platz genommen hatten, musste ich ständig um Bedienung rufen, ohne dass sie mich beachteten. Deshalb werde ich hier nicht wiederkommen. Schade, aber ich lebe in der Realität. Und Trinkgeld wurde auch noch erwartet! 😔

One of the most beautiful sites I have visited

Very good food, but we waited like one hour too get some bread at the table. The drinks took too long time. Very busy but only one or two waiters and too busy for them too fix it. Had big expectations for this but not fulfilled .

Shockingly bad for a 5 star hotel. My husband and I left after: we were asked if we wanted to give them our coats and they were tossed messily on a nearby chair. I ordered sparkling water and got still. And finally the coffees we got were from a machine (ok - one can accept that) but tasted horrible and didn’t look very nice either. 1 cappuccino, 1 latte, and a large bottle of water was 29 euros. We left soon after and went to Facil at the Mandala hotel for lunch which was relatively close to walk and amazing .

The food is of good quality and delicious at a relatively reasonable price.

The service in the evening was disappointing. The timing of the drinks and food was very poor, with no eye contact and no questions asked. This significantly diminished the overall €400 bill and left no reason to return. The service was simply not good, and I would say I get more attention at any normal restaurant in the city than here. The liver was very good, but it took up 70% of the dish. The onions were fried and definitely more than a day old. I desperately searched for apples. The pasta was served cold.

Given the hustle and bustle surrounding the new terrace at Brasserie Carré, I'd like to take this opportunity to express my special praise: The way the staff – including management – ​​are handling this situation deserves a clear five-star rating in my opinion. It's truly no easy task to satisfy all guests in this rush. Therefore, the entire team deserves a huge compliment!

How anyone could fail so badly at such a great location is incomprehensible. When you get a seat at such a fantastic location, you first have to wait until someone takes your order. That can take a while. We were about to leave, but then we were able to place an order. During that time, four tables (four, three, and two people) vacated their tables after no one from the service department came. Another table was asked what they had ordered because they couldn't remember what they had ordered. The guests then left out of anger and confusion, and the drinks they ordered arrived 10 minutes later. The restaurant was overwhelmed. Whether it was because the obvious manager in the gray suit wasn't present is perhaps a reason. A hotel with such a reputation needs to perform better here. And finally, a comment on the cake we ate. This isn't worthy of an Adlon; the quality should be improved here as well, because the price-performance ratio is anything but good. Currently, the price is high and the quality is poor. We were very disappointed, but it somehow fit into the overall picture we had during our visit.

Very attentive, friendly service. The food was good value for money. The dips and baguette at the beginning were bland, but the starter (beetroot dumplings) and main course (octopus with lentils) were excellent. Only the drink prices are too high in my opinion. Still an experience.

At lunch, I quickly chose the daily dish: ambiance, service, food: classic and absolutely impeccable – and please don't tell anyone: it's simply too cheap. ...I've been there several times for dinner, but most recently, at the weekend, I was very disappointed – the burrata was, unfortunately, just a solid dumpling, and the bouillabaisse with scallops and shrimp was bland and almost flavorless – dear Adlon team, you can do much better!

The service is amateurish. Drinks, place setting, and food are served at snack bar level, placed on the wrong side, drinks placed at the head of the table without comment, and food is passed around. Even ordering is a mini-odyssey of "we don't have it," "we can make it anyway," and "it might be a bit too sweet," so the guest is left with suggestions like, "Just crush the ice yourself and add a little less sugar syrup to the drink." Bird droppings on the table and chairs. The food is okay, the service is completely inadequate.

The truffle fries – as always, a highlight and highly recommended. Delicious and generously portioned. Unfortunately, the service this time couldn't keep up. The drinks were simply collected and placed on the table without any communication – no eye contact, no questions asked, no hospitality. Even worse: The used plates were left out for far too long, even though they were visibly empty – only after several wasps had devoured them were they cleared away. Overall, a disappointing visit in terms of the service experience – and that in an otherwise recommendable restaurant. It's a shame, there could have been much more.

The doner kebab has little to do with a doner kebab, but it's first-class. Highly recommended, a special experience. But the absolute highlight: the espresso martini. I've rarely had one that went down so well with the body.

Unfortunately, the service in the restaurant didn't meet our expectations. The welcome was less than warm. While the ambiance was pleasant, the overall impression was significantly marred by the inattentive service. The drink prices were significantly overpriced. It's a shame – we were looking forward to a pleasant restaurant visit, but were unfortunately disappointed.

Unseren ersten Abend in Berlin im wunderschönen Adlon wollten wir in der Brasserie Quarre geniessen - nach einem Apero in der Lobby mit Klaviermusik haben wir uns sehr gefreut. Nach einer Umplatzierung vom Wintergarten ins Innere mit weisser Tischwäsche und mehr Platz haben wir uns in die etwas sperrige Speisekarte vertieft: eine Spargelsuppe sollte es sein und eine vom Hummer, dann zweimal die Scampis mit Jakobsmuscheln. Die Weissweinempfehlung war ausgezeichnet. Die Suppen äusserst delikat und stilvoll am Tisch eingegossen - sehr gut! Dann wird slow-food ernst genommen. Aufgrund eines Problems in der Küche mussten wir 1.5 h auf den Hauptgang warten. Auch andere Gäste mit kleinen Kindern wurden lange nicht bedient. Das Serviceteam schien zeitweilen auch überfordert zu sein. Unser Kellner hat alles sehr elegant gelöst und uns je ein Glas Wein offeriert. Vielen Dank dafür. Der Hauptgang war gut, nur das Verhältnis von Kartoffeln und Fisch nicht ausgewogen. So viele Kartoffeln.... Schade. Offenbar ist dies bereits anderen Gästen vor uns aufgefallen - danke an die Küche, wenn man hier einmal über die Bücher gehen kann. Fazit: schöner erster Abend mit vier Punkten, Abzug für lange Wartezeiten und Hauptgang. Wir kommen sicher wieder ins Adlon und probieren dann das Esszimmer!

Disappointing Decline of the Legendary Adlon The legendary Adlon is no longer what it once was. Today, it’s just another Kempinski hotel, stripped of the excellence that once defined it. Human Resources is doing a terrible job—many experienced staff members have left, and they’ve been replaced by untrained students with no real preparation. The drop in service quality is obvious. Even worse, the supervisors and managers themselves lack experience and professionalism. There is no real leadership, and they seem completely indifferent to both standards and the guest experience. It’s truly a shame to see such an iconic name lose its meaning. Honestly, they shouldn't even be allowed to call it the Adlon anymore.

Zugegeben: kein Lokal für den schmalen Geldbeutel, aber sehr leckeres Essen, gute Portionen, sehr aufmerksamer, zuvorkommender Service. Schön wäre allerdings gewesen, wenn nicht nur die Tische im oberen, sondern auch die im unteren Bereich einheitlich weiss eingedeckt gewesen wären.

Visiting the Adlon is by default setting the bar of expectations higher. So, if things are not moving adequately, disappointments can come fast. Food is okay but don't forget you in Adlon. Atmosphere is nice but shaded by the staff. Slow, not looking after guests and providing a taste that Adlons best days are just gone. Clear area of improvement.

This place is like a fading movie star. Its glory days are behind it and they just don't quite realize it yet. The food was mediocre and the service was non-existent. Both my table and the one next to us had to get up more than once to find a waiter. If the staff on hand can't adequately service the tables, don't seat more people, you just compound the problem. Reading the other reviews, the problems we faced seem to be a common theme. I would suggest that you stop leaving comments apologizing and instead solve the problems which are clearly endemic. It was not lost on me that the waiter didn't even attempt to nudge me to leave a tip. He knew it was a disaster. He was doing his best but was clearly overwhelmed. I give it 2 stars solely for the location.

Wir hatten einen schönen Abend in der Brasserie. Am ersten Urlaubstag wollten wir unser Hotel nicht mehr verlassen, und sind daher in der Brasserie Quarré eingekehrt. Gespeist haben wir in einem tollen Ambiente, das mit sehr engagiertem Personal mit Leben gefüllt wird. Lecker war das Essen, gut war der Wein. Ob das Brot vorweg, der Spargelsalat oder das Wiener Schnitzel, alles war toll. Weniger toll hingegen war die Organisation des Abends. Zum Aperitif wollten wir gerne die Austern essen, hier bedurfte es eines Hinweises an den Service um das zu realisieren. Nach den Fines de Claire wurde der Hauptgang serviert, mit Hinweis auf die fehlende Vorspeise haben wir ihn zurück gehen lassen. Das Abräumen leerer Schalen und Teller bedurfte ebenfalls einer Anregung von uns. Es war ein toller Abend, ein wenig haben wir aber durchaus den Geist des Ortes „Adlon oblige“ vermisst.

We ate at the brasserie on both evenings. The food was good, but lacked a flavor explosion. The service was attentive but chaotic. On the second evening, the bread and spread didn't arrive until after the starter, reordering drinks was almost impossible, and there was crockery everywhere in the restaurant, which had been cleared from the tables but then left somewhere next to them or in between. Reservations recommended.

On April 24, 2025, my wife and I wanted to round off our stay in Berlin in style with a special lunch at the Brasserie-Quarré. From the asparagus menu we ordered: - 2x salad - 1x soup - 2x 300 g asparagus spears plus side dishes There was also a bottle of water and a dessert including a cappuccino to share. For this experience we paid €235 (including tip). Of course, expensive food and drinks are generally neither surprising nor offensive at an institution like the Adlon. Nevertheless, in retrospect I look at this price with bewilderment when I put it in relation to the overall quality offered. Our table was reserved for 1:30 p.m. We showed up on time and ordered quickly. It then took the Brasserie Quarré a total of more than three hours (!!!) to serve the above-mentioned food and drinks. After this almost surreal experience, we left the restaurant around 4:45 p.m. and could hardly believe what had just happened. More than three hours for two salads, a soup, two main courses and a dessert. More than three hours. Whatever may have been going on behind the scenes that day, something like that is completely unreasonable and would at the very least call for appropriate compensation. However, this did not happen at all, apart from a friendly request for an apology. We were lucky that we hadn't planned any other things to do in Berlin on this sunny spring day, apart from going to a concert in the evening. Otherwise they would have been badly ruined by this blatant display of organizational incompetence. In view of the fatal underperformance in service described, the quality of the food almost becomes an insignificant side note. However, it should not go unmentioned that this was also absolutely unworthy of a menu costing over €200. This isn't meant to be a vituperative review; That's why I'm happy to honestly admit that the salad, the soup and the crème brûlée tasted excellent. Unfortunately, the opposite was true for the main course, the most important part of the menu. The asparagus tasted less delicate and aromatic than the one I prepared at home from the weekly market. My wife's corn-fed chicken wasted its life in vain because it was fried so mercilessly dry. My salmon fillet cooked on the skin tasted only average. And to top it all off, the potatoes that were served to us as a side dish were almost raw! Could we have complained directly on site about the poor preparation of our main courses? Yes. Did we still have the motivation to do this after three hours of grueling waiting? No. Instead, we just wanted to pay and leave. Due to the legendary reputation of the Adlon, but also due to the prices that perfectly match its legendary status, our expectations were rightly very high in the run-up to the visit. The Brasserie Quarré couldn't even begin to live up to this.

A great restaurant with an impressive view! Traditional dishes have been reinterpreted here - with high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail. The atmosphere is classic and classy without seeming artificial. Definitely a place where you would like to stay longer. Absolute recommendation!

Four of us had lunch in the brasserie and we were all absolutely thrilled. Food and service excellent.

Muy caro y decepcionante. Especialmente el servicio, lentísimo y falto de profesionalidad. Ordenamos las bebidas del aperitivo, tomaron nota... y cuando al cabo de más de diez minutos no las habían traído, las reclamé y preguntaron que qué queríamos tomar. Surrealista y lamentable. Aún fue peor el servicio de vino. Pedimos una botella. La trajeron al cabo de un tiempo razonable y sirvieron (bien) la primera copa. Después, dejaron la botella en una pequeña mesa auxiliar, próxima a la nuestra... y NUNCA más volvieron a servir el vino. Tuve que levantarme yo para traer la botella a nuestra mesa y servir yo el vino, para las siguientes copas. No hubo ni un solo comentario o disculpa por parte del servicio. Inaceptable. En cuanto a los platos, presentan (y cobran) como ostras Gillardeau nº2 unas piezas que, por su tamaño, son más bien ostras Gillardeau nº3... y hay diferencia. Por cierto, la presentación de las ostras, casi amontonadas y en un plato pequeño es manifiestamente mejorable. Total falta de profesionalidad. Pedimos también, mi esposa y yo, unos taglierini con trufa fresca ("bianchetto"). Cuando trajeron los platos, venían ya desde cocina con las lascas de trufa sobre la pasta, en lugar de rallarla in situ, en la mesa, en el momento de servir. Otra falta de profesionalidad y/o una manifiesta ignorancia por parte del servicio. El aroma y sabor del plato eran muy buenos, lógico por la (muy cara) trufa fresca. Pero la pasta en sí (los taglierini) estaba francamente mediocre, siendo generoso en la calificación. En vez de haberla preparado "al dente", como es preceptivo, era casi una masa blanda y apelotonada, casi gomosa, de taglierini, todos pegados. Lamentable, máxime en un plato tan caro y en el restaurante de un hotel como el Adlon. Lo hice notar a la camarera, cuando preguntó mi opinión. En resumen, una experiencia cara pero, sobre todo, decepcionante.

My experience with the service was that this man had difficulty communicating. Of three things ordered, including 1 drink and 2 food, all three things were wrong.

Well, the food is of course good, that should be the case given the price. Two defects, two stars less: The room was much too cool for us. And what we didn't like at all: constantly changing waiters at the table. When you have a multi-course meal, you actually always want to be served by the same person (or at most two), not by four or more different people.

In the penultimate week of January I wanted to order the Morning Post menu for February (3 people). I was connected to the telephone switchboard because "...the restaurant no longer answers the telephone after 4 p.m." (information from the friendly lady at the switchboard). But she has a reservation plan and can suggest several dates for me. We agreed on Monday, February 24th, 5 p.m. She wrote down my phone number and promised that the restaurant would call me the next day to confirm the appointment. It sounded like a mere formality. My email address was not requested. My answering machine is switched on and I can also recognize “missed calls” without a message. I was NOT called. I've been on vacation for a week now and called myself today, directly to the restaurant. "Unfortunately" there was no reservation, and all appointments would be completely booked except for 1 or 2, but around 12 p.m. (which is out of the question for us). The lady couldn't tell me how this happened, she was sorry. I actually didn't expect it to work like this at a hotel like the Adlon. We regularly take part in the Morgenpost menu and have been to Adlon for this purpose years ago, and so far everything has worked out as expected. Too bad...

I can't say anything about the food, service and ambience because we didn't get that far. Because when I tried to make a reservation for the morning post menu in February 2025, an incredible thing happened. When I asked to change the second course of the menu offered due to a fish allergy, I received the following answer: "Please be informed that the menu cannot be changed. In your case, colleagues in the restaurant will take the 2nd course into account No alternative is offered to you. I didn't expect such a reaction and I'm not used to it. In all other comparable situations - and I often take part in the Morning Post menus, also to get to know other restaurants - the restaurant was always able to respond appropriately to my allergy and offer an alternative. The way the Brasserie Quarré treats potential guests here is disappointing. The reservation was of course immediately canceled by me.

Extremely elegant restaurant in the heart of the Kempinski hotel. Ordered the lobster and scallop soup which was cooked to perfection. Also had scallops and prawns for mains. All was cooked perfectly and portions were generous. The truffle pasta was very rich and there was a generous amount of fresh grated truffle. Finally, ordered the crème brulée for dessert which was very good. Overall, while on the pricier side, it's worth a visit while in Berlin. Service was very good throughout and elevated the experience.

I’ll tell you right away about the food! I ordered mushroom soup with ravioli and was amazed by the presentation and the concept of the dish as a whole (photo attached). They brought a plate containing one ravioli, and the waiter effectively poured about 100 ml of mushroom broth into it. This “soup” made me laugh for a long time! What can I say? The soup itself was not tasty. The presentation is, of course, impressive - but that’s all. There was practically nothing to eat. Honestly, I don’t understand why this dish is even on the menu, and even for such money. As for the establishment itself and the service, everything is very decent: cozy atmosphere, beautiful music, friendly staff. The interior is stylish and inviting. However, the prices are high, and the menu does not indicate the cost, which causes inconvenience.

First we waited for an hour for the appetizer, then finally when it came they brought us one ravioli helloooo one. 3 different waiters offer to sell us wine even though we told the first one that we don't drink wine. when the main course came, the fries were cold, not edible. Of course, the bill for everything we ate is yours almost nothing was 360 euros. The only good and positive thing in everything is the friendliness of the waiters. I've eaten at fine dining restaurants many times, this is not one you should go to. They only charge for the location

Had dinner here on a Sunday evening this past November. We requested a window seat to look out on the Gate, but were denied. Interestingly, several of the empty tables remained empty when we left. The seafood was quite poor and the amount specified on the menu — raw oysters, shrimp— were half of what was specified, which I pointed out to the waiter. The response was apologetic and have an appetizer instead. Not acceptable. The seafood that was provided was of poor quality and not fresh. No reduction on the bill despite not receiving what we ordered.

Charging 8-9 euros for 0,25 of water is outrageous and a cleat theft... The worst part is they didnt inform of the price first. The location is the only good about this place. Also Service is not up to the standards of a high calibre 5 star Hotel. The staff is not that Kind and attentive and the way they keep people waiting is totaly shameful.

The food was excellent, but when I approached the waiter to ask for a table, he claimed there were no available seats, even though three tables were clearly empty. When I asked why we couldn't take one of those tables, he responded that we had to wait inside because there was a queue. We left, but I noticed that the couple behind us was seated at one of those "unavailable" tables right away. We returned, and the flustered waiter quickly disappeared into the restaurant. Thankfully, a kind woman helped us and immediately found us a spot. Apart from this unpleasant deceit, everything else was fine. The waiter who behaved this way had a name starting with "A," was about 30 years old, light-skinned, and fairly tall. I suggest choosing staff more carefully to avoid dishonesty.

Rounded off by a pleasant + timelessly modern room atmosphere with classic - elegant furniture. Everything in close proximity to the heart of Berlin, the Brandenburg Gate. The team’s great service is also unique. Politeness, sensitivity in interpersonal interactions and always attentive and authentically friendly!!! Where else can you find this these days? In ADLON!!! Brasserie Quarré, located at the foot of the iconic Brandenburg Gate, is a place that does not disappoint. I loved their schnitzel-type fillet, perfectly crispy and juicy, accompanied by French fries that stand out thanks to the touch of parmesan and truffle. Furthermore, any of their cakes are a real delight, perfect to top off the meal. The service, simply 10, makes the experience even better. Without a doubt, a place to repeat.

We ate the kebab. The ambience was very nice, the staff was friendly and the kebab was okay. But in my opinion it's not worth the money.

Die Speisekarte wurde zwar gleich gereicht, nach ca 15 Minuten Wartezeit aber ohne jeglichen Kontakt zu Gast…. Wir gingen dann zum nächsten Restaurant mit meiner Familie. Liebes Adlon Personal, dass geht gar nicht.

A wonderful Thursday with my fiancé with a cozy glass of Aperol. And our waitress (Mrs. Dohna zu Schlobitten) was a very sweet and friendly girl. NEED TO REPEAT!

Stopped in for some afternoon drinks in the sunshine and we had a great couple of hours. A nice friendly greeting by all the staff. Gave good recommendations about the local beers without anything feeling forced, we played it safe though and went for the draft beer option. (Beer was lovely and cold) Free nibbles with the drinks consisting of crisps and nuts. Staff continued to be attentive and the drinks kept on flowing without having to ask. A great location on the edge of the square with the perfect view of the Brandenburg gate. Reasonably prices for drinks for such a busy location. Would recommend to others and would visit again.

I recently visited this bar, hoping to enjoy some drinks with friends. Despite several free tables outside, the staff insisted that all the tables were occupied and directed us to sit in the lobby instead. She was jung and very arrogantly rude. This was quite frustrating, especially since we could clearly see the available tables. It felt like they didn't want to accommodate us, and the overall experience left a bad taste. I won't be returning and would not recommend this place if you value good service and treatment.

We were lucky and were able to spontaneously get a spot outside with a view of the Brandenburg Gate on Saturday evening. We ordered an aperitif - when we asked if there was Lillet wild berry, our waitress replied yes. However, what I got 15 minutes later was a Lillet with some kind of tonic. When I was told that I had ordered wild berry, I was told that it wasn't available - no question as to whether it was okay or anything like that. My companion's Moskow Mule was also a strange creation that tasted nothing like the original. We were given bread with olive oil - but the bottle was empty. We had to refill the wine ourselves and three waiters asked us if we had already ordered… Overall, the service was inattentive and not appropriate for the upscale atmosphere or the food. The food was good. The prices are quite high, probably due to the name and the view. If the service had been good enough, we would come back.

Das Essen war ganz o.k. Der Service agierte aber - obwohl offensichtlich personell ausreichend aufgestellt - total chaotisch. Mein leeres Aperitif-Glas stand zwanzig Minuten gut sichtbar auf dem Tisch. Niemand schien es nötig zu finden, mal nachzufragen, ob es noch etwas sein darf. Stattdessen standen die Damen und Herren zu viert hinter der Theke und unterhielten sich. Ein anderer Herr demonstrierte seine Chefallüren und schwebte immer mal wieder an den Tischen vorbei, interessierte sich aber nicht die Bohne dafür, ob alles richtig läuft. Jedes Mal, wenn ich etwas wollte, musste ich mich deutlich bemerkbar machen. Der Wein kam dann, als ich mit dem Hauptgang schon lange fertig war. Überflüssig, zu sagen, dass ich bei dem Preisniveau deutlich andere Erwartungen habe

We were let onto the terrace and then turned away again because there was not enough space for our family of 6 people and 1 child. While childless couples occupy a table for 4 people. Unfortunately absolutely incomprehensible! There were still a lot of large tables available in the back area. Very inflexible staff, the reason was also communicated very unfriendly. Unfortunately an absolute failure. Families are probably not welcomed.

The curry is so delicious~~~^^ I ate Chicken Coco, Lamb Chicken, and Vegetable Street. Chicken Coco is soft and The lamb chicken is spicy and spicy. The vegetable chicken was refreshing. When I reserved my seat, I had already told them that it was our birthday. Nobody was interested until we left the brasserie. In the back of your mind you think there will probably be a glass of something or an espresso, a scoop of ice cream, a piece of cake or something similar, especially in such a high-quality establishment. Unfortunately I thought wrong. Now I admit, that's why we don't go out to eat. But the first impression makes it. Unfortunately it was quite cold outside that day and not much better inside by the window. The waitress wasn't paying attention, so it took over ten minutes before a glass of water was on the table, and the glass of wine took half as long. The food with starter, soup, main course and dessert was fine and good. So at least as expected for this category. From dessert onwards, another waiter, who was far more ambitious and a professional, came along and took over from the first one. Conclusion of this visit, there are better experiences. Very luxurious atmosphere, professional and friendly staff. The rooms are very nice and the tables also look very inviting. The staff is top class, gave us good advice and were very attentive. With the music in the background we could really relax and enjoy. The selection of food and drinks is very good and something very special. The room with the high ceilings was a bit cool now in winter. The food was good, very nicely prepared but the taste was rather boring and there was no wow moment, which was a shame given the price.

Die Räumlichkeiten sind sehr schön, auch die Tische sehen sehr einladend aus. Das Personal ist Spitzenklasse, haben uns gut beraten und waren sehr aufmerksam. Mit der Musik im Hintergrund konnten wir richtig entspannen und genießen. Die Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken ist sehr gut und etwas ganz besonderes. Die Räumlichkeit mit den hohen Decken war jetzt im Winter etwas frisch. Das Essen war gut, sehr hübsch zubereitet aber der Geschmack war eher langweilig, der Wow-Moment blieb aus, was bei dem Preis sehr schade war.

Leider kann ich die Brasserie Quarré angesichts der folgenden Punkte nicht empfehlen: - kalte Räumlichkeiten - sehr schlechter Service, das Personal erscheint nur angelernt, erfragt keine Getränkewünsche, kein Gespür, dass Getränke und Essen irgendwie gleichzeitig oder zumindest die Getränke vor dem Essen serviert werden sollten. - die Kellnerin hat es zweimal nicht geschafft, den gewünschten Wein zu bringen (es stand halt überall Chateau drauf). Da der Weinwunsch zum Hauptgang auch nicht vor Eintreffen des Hauptgangs erfragt worden war und wir auch keine Gelegenheit hatten, einen solchen zu äussern, hatten wir fast aufgegessen, als wir uns dann schliessen für je ein Glas offenen Wein entschieden haben. Eine Enttäuschung.

We had a wonderful evening here at Brasserie Quarré. The service was super excellent and accommodating. The food was of great quality and impressed with many small details. In addition, the location of the restaurant is simply awesome, in the middle of the city and from there everything can be reached quickly.
