We took our friend out to Brasserie Colette. We are all foodies and we were all delighted.

We have often been to Germany's star cuisine. All dishes were perfectly prepared without exception. We thought it was great that you could also combine the dishes from the menu with dishes à la carte. Nowhere else have we had such perfect service (except at Douce Steiner). We will definitely stop by again on our next visit to Berlin. You just have to repeat such experiences

A great restaurant with delicious food and wine! You can choose from a full menu or simply enjoy à la carte options. It’s always a pleasure to dine here. However, one small point to consider regarding the fixed menu: for just a slightly higher price, you could visit a 1-star restaurant in Berlin. That said, this spot, despite not having a star, offers a lovely experience.

Brasserie im klassischen Sinne, angenehmes Ambiente, sehr aufmerksamer und unaufdringlicher Service, sehr gute französische Küche mit asiatischen Touch.

La brasserie Colette se trouve tout près du grand magasin KaDeWe, elle est donc toute indiquée pour faire une pause déjeuner après une virée shopping. Très bel établissement à la décoration d'inspiration brasserie parisienne. Nous avons opté pour le plateau de dégustation "la table dressée" à 37€. Nous avons eu un excellent aperçu du savoir-faire culinaire de l'équipe en cuisine, au travers de 5 propositions servies sur un plateau (salade mâche, huître fine de claire, consommé de chou rouge, poulpe croustillant et filet de boeuf au poivre) suivies d'un dessert (une tarte aux quetsches très revisitée pour ne pas dire déconstruite !) Compter 55€ par personne avec une coupe de Crémant de Loire brut blanc de blancs et un verre de vin.

The service was great and the seating was very nice. The wines are very tasty. However, I found the food to be rather average. Sure, it was delicious. But somehow nothing special. For the prices charged per dish and from Tim Raue, I expected a little more. Therefore benevolent three stars.

Great service, great food - simply outstanding!

This was a true culinary journey that was more than just convincing. We ate so incredibly well and outstandingly that I could never have imagined before. And it actually started with the outstanding bread 👌🏼 was enhanced by the shrimp, the outstanding steak and a perfect dessert. We'll be back ❤️

Sehr schönes Lokal hinter dem KADEWE. Service sehr aufmerksam! Brasserieküche auf Fine Dining Art interpretiert mit nordafrikanischen Akzenten. Austern waren in Ordnung. Die Bouilliabaisse adrett serviert mit einem sehr komplexen Fond. Einlage: eine perfekt gegarten Crevette und Calamari nicht unbedingt traditionell interpretiert aber durch den intensiven rassigen Fond ein sehr gelungenes Gericht. Dir Marokkanische Crevette war üppig aber einfach genial. Heilbutt und der Pulpo können wir nur empfehlen! Käse nun ja hier ist Luft nach oben in der Auswahl und Reifegrade aber ich bin hier auch sehr sehr verwöhnt. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung und wir werden wiederkommen.

Pleasant atmosphere, informal and relaxed, with very friendly and attentive service. The restaurant manager recommended me the prawn marocain, which I didn't initially shortlist as a fried item - but, chapeau, a wonderful crunch, a bit of spiciness, a pleasant coating of pistachios and the crowning glory were the lychees marinated in rose water small dish rounded off great. In my opinion, this fantastic appetizer could still tolerate a touch of acidity, then I would stop eating - because what else could come? Good thing that wasn't the case, the following halibut was perfect and delicious, the creme brulee was a bit flat after the previous enjoyments (sweetness, little aroma), the accompanying pomegranate sorbet and the mango sauce were again excellent! Maybe the Creme Brulee should be a little reserved? The artichoke had delicious and exciting dips, one of which had a lot of sugary sweetness, and the vegetarian ravioli were also original and delicious. The wine advisor was very friendly and patient, so we had a wonderful evening - thank you!!

We had the normal menu, very well celebrated, portions were really well sized, no airs and graces and shishi. The staff is motivated to the core. The drinks menu is also plenty for alcoholic or non-alcoholic... A good address in Berlin to sweeten your life a little with a normal to slightly full wallet. We enjoyed it very much.

We ordered the menu 'La Sélection de Tim Raue' and a starter and main course from the menu. Everything was simply very, very tasty, starting from the fresh bread with the cornichons to the dessert. Some dishes are very well peppered or have a certain spiciness that some may find too strong. The ambience and service were also great. We'll definitely be back!

We had the classic Colette menu with wine accompaniment and really enjoyed it, as well as the very friendly service and the beautiful, cozy atmosphere, really delicious. Not cheap, but inexpensive.

I’ve wanted to try the brassiere for a long time but what a disappointment. The service was just ok at best. Everything took too long and the food came nearly cold ,I’m sorry but a soup should not take 45 min to bring out barely warm with dry cheese. All the dishes shared one strong characteristic: way too much salt or no salt at all. The tasting lunch menu did not have a single dish with good flavour and the filet was just salty. For this price point I would not be coming back. (The tasting menu dishes were tiny and unless you are a toddler you will be leaving hungry ).

Trotz Hochbetrieb am Samstagabend erhielt ich noch einen Platz, nicht ideal gegenüber dem Eingang, aber ohne Reservation ok. Die Bedienung überzeugte mit Effizienz und Fachwissen. Interessante Speisekarte mindestens teilweise abseits vom Brasserie-Alltag. Angesichts der sehr guten Besetzung waren die Wartezeiten angemessen. Au revoir et à la prochaine.

This restaurant can absolutely be recommended, if you'r looking for a really enjoyable dinner in Berlin. The menu is short and offers either 3 menus or a la carte in French style. Quality rather than over complicated. Choosing the a la carte we ended up we an excellent dinner that fitted our taste and appetite perfectly - much thanks to our kind waitress Jessica. The wine card is short with a safe selection of good wines offering much quality for the price and good match with the menus. The atmosphere is relaxed, calm, nice and pleasant. Friendly design and decorating. Finally found a restaurant with an acoustic so brilliant that you can have good relaxed conversation at the table and still enjoy the positive energy in the room. The service provided by Jessica was easy going, friendly, smiling and accommodating our needs early and smoothly before we needed to ask. Good job, good place

Von Entree, wo wir mit Namen begrüßt wurden bis zur Verabschiedung (wir waren die Letzten) war das ein perfekter Abend. Habe noch nie auf diesem gastronomischen Niveau so einen guten Service erlebt. Besser als in vielen Sternerestaurants. Perfekt zubereitete Speisen, deren Auswahl und Zusammenstellung schon deutlich die Handschrift des Patrons zeigt. Auch ohne Stern: Kulinarik at it’s best. Auch bei den Weinen zeigt das Personal höchste Flexibilität und Kenntnis. Die Krönung war für mich „Sauerbraten vom Wagyu“, ein Hammer. Wir müssen und wir werden unbedingt wieder kommen.

Top service tries to make every wish come true. The ambience is nice. It should be mentioned that almost every dish is spicy!!! As a local guide, I have traveled a lot and have also had the opportunity to experience this restaurant. Overall I was satisfied, but it bothered me a bit that every dish was very spicy and this wasn't mentioned before on the page. I didn't get the suggestion to see you again. My wife had dinner and was also satisfied, but we expected a little more. Conclusion: If you can/are allowed to eat spicy food, you should try it out and make your own judgment. We enjoyed the Menu Classique with wine accompaniment. "Only" four stars because of this: The onion soup was delicious, as was the beef bourguignon (like my husband's at home in France). Our review: The taste of the soup and the sauce were too similar - one pot for two dishes? Once again: the food was still delicious, the wine pairing was perfect, as was the service and ambience.

3/5 stars. Tried the lunch menu, and it was a mixed experience. The pumpkin soup with ginger oil was flavorful and definitely worth recommending. However, the salmon salad, while tasty, wasn’t as fresh as I’d hoped, and the oyster also lacked freshness. Overall, it’s a bit hit or miss, but the staff is friendly, which made the visit okay.

Wir haben mittags gegessen. Einmal das Mittagsangebot mit 6 feinen Speisen auf einmal serviert. Zum anderen Artischocke mit 3 dips und Rinderfilet. Die Speisen waren durchaus etwas schärfer (Pfeffer Jus, Ingweröl) und sehr lecker. Nettes Personal, gute Weinempfehlung. Ein sehr schönes kulinarisches Erlebnis.

One night stop in Berlin and with a bit of luck we got a table at short notice. Lovely, very attentive service with great ideas (so I could eat the pulpo too) As for the food, as expected, the menu was amazing. Quality, implementation and taste perfect. I just like the culinary idea behind the food from Tim Raue and his team! If the opportunity arises again, we will definitely come back!!

In this recession, we don't rate the food or the ambience. On 7/26/24 we reserved a table for 2 people for 10/20/24, with the note that one person would not consume any alcohol, not even in the food. The reservation was accepted. On October 20th We were then called in the morning at around 11 a.m. to say that unfortunately this wouldn't work because the overall dining experience couldn't be provided. 3 months in advance should actually be enough to prepare. This hasn't been a problem during our visits so far, especially in the Raue main restaurant. From our point of view, unfortunately not a recommendation - we will certainly not plan another visit and unfortunately we cannot recommend it either.

The service was great - we weren't disappointed with the food, but we weren't blown away either. As an example, the onion soup: this was delicious, but more suitable as a sauce for an onion roast than as a sole course (very concentrated, very viscous). We may have come here with the wrong expectations; It is definitely more of a brasserie that bears the name Tim Raues (rather hearty food, large portions) than a typical Tim Raue restaurant as one would imagine. You feel like you notice the name quite clearly.

I was really looking forward to visiting Tim Raue's restaurant and my expectations were correspondingly high. The beef tartare that I had as a starter was really very good - perfectly seasoned and harmonious. My main course, the steak au poivre, was okay, but it was missing that certain something. It wasn't bad, but I was hoping for a little more given the reputation of the establishment. The bouillabaisse of my companion was satisfactory and solidly prepared. However, I had a big problem with the beef bourguignon, which was peppered far too heavily. The pepper dominated the entire dish to such an extent that hardly any other flavors came through. Even for someone like me who likes spicy food, it was too intense. The pepper really irritated the tongue, which is inappropriate for a dish of this type. The service, as already mentioned, was unfortunately not at the level that one would expect from a restaurant in this price range. Long waiting times and a noticeable overwhelm of the staff marred the experience. For the price of over 200 euros for two courses with some wine and an aperitif, I would have expected more attentive and professional service. Overall the visit was not what I had hoped for. While the food was quite good in places, the wild fluctuations in quality and the inadequate service left me disappointed. I will therefore probably prefer one of Tim Raue's other restaurants, which have left a better impression on me so far.

The Colette is a small but fine and chic restaurant right next to the Kurfürstendamm in Berlin. You are greeted very friendly, shown to the table, and the service is generally very attentive throughout the meal. With a good selection of vegetarian and meat/fish dishes, the menu scores visually. The dishes themselves have an excellent variety of tastes; Mr. Raue's team does an excellent job of incorporating all kinds of flavors into the starters, main courses and desserts; The desire to combine sweet-sour-bitter-salty-umami - and I would like to add almost creamy - in every dish quickly becomes apparent to the inclined connoisseur. And in my opinion it works brilliantly. A real experience, I will definitely eat there more often.

Four of us were here for dinner and were greeted very friendly and shown to the square. The service was attentive and routine. Fine pickles and juicy bread and butter were offered before the actual meal. The food was great - of course! I really like the depth of flavors here - the beef bourguignon almost always has to be it for me. Steak and tartare as well as the artichoke and all the desserts were also very tasty. I deduct a small point because at 10:30 p.m. the bill was placed on the table without asking - we would have liked to order a quick drink - and therefore felt like we were thrown out. With 30 minutes to go, that doesn't necessarily have to be the case. But we'll be back and will definitely get used to the new standard soon 😉.

For a well-priced lunch at 37 euros, Brasserie Colette by Tim Raue offers a solid selection of small plates, making it easy to sample a range of flavors. We had the beef fillet Wellington menu for two with wine accompaniment and it was all super delicious. The service was great and the waiters were really nice. We were also packed something because my partner couldn't make it. It was beautifully wrapped and we were given a jar of sweet and sour cucumbers. Wine was always refilled when a glass was empty. Gladly again

We took part in the evening on September 13, 2024 with Tim Raue. The motto was classic French cuisine with appropriate, generous wine accompaniment. Tim Raue was on site and led the evening. There was a short story for each of the five courses. To make a long story short, the ambience, service and food were outstanding. But the highlight of this evening was of course the master himself. He has the ability to give the guests the feeling that they have known him for a long time, like an old friend. Don't be ashamed to come to every table for a selfie and a quick chat. A perfect host and entertainer. All in all a wonderful experience.

Walked in for lunch and in my case I chose the vegan 3 course menu - tomato tartare, raviolo and croissant with raspberry ice cream. All courses always have a certain spiciness, which is refreshing and makes the individual spoonfuls varied when eating. The Colette has a nice atmosphere and is located in the western center of Berlin in the immediate vicinity of the KaDeWe. We chose the lunch menu for 37 EUR. 7 small portions (including dessert). However, we are used to more surprising flavor combinations from Tim Raue. At least that's how it was in the, unfortunately closed, Villa Kellermann in Potsdam.

The 5-course Tim Raue menu has 2 very spicy courses, which the guest has to like. The other courses were aromatic and varied. No greetings from the kitchen. The service explained the courses with gaps and gave us good advice about the wine. The ambience has room for improvement: chairs hard and uncomfortable, furnishings plain. After more than an hour, only the second course was served, and after 3.5 hours we left the restaurant. It was a bit too long for us. The bill was €600 for 4 people with tips, a bit too high for me. The price-performance ratio could be better, I won't come back. I expected more ambience and pep in the presentation of the dishes on the plates.

Another special evening with great food and service. The light dessert of salted lemon and merengue on this warm evening was the perfect finishing touch. Thanks!

Wir hatten im Rahmen unseres Kurzurlaubs ein wunderbares Mittagessen in der Brasserie von Tim Raue. Das Essen schmeckte hervorragend, das Personal war sehr sympathisch und aufmerksam.
