I was really looking forward to visiting Tim Raue's restaurant and my expectations were correspondingly high. The beef tartare that I had as a starter was really very good - perfectly seasoned and harmonious. My main course, the steak au poivre, was okay, but it was missing that certain something. It wasn't bad, but I was hoping for a little more given the reputation of the establishment. The bouillabaisse of my companion was satisfactory and solidly prepared. However, I had a big problem with the beef bourguignon, which was peppered far too heavily. The pepper dominated the entire dish to such an extent that hardly any other flavors came through. Even for someone like me who likes spicy food, it was too intense. The pepper really irritated the tongue, which is inappropriate for a dish of this type. The service, as already mentioned, was unfortunately not at the level that one would expect from a restaurant in this price range. Long waiting times and a noticeable overwhelm of the staff marred the experience. For the price of over 200 euros for two courses with some wine and an aperitif, I would have expected more attentive and professional service. Overall the visit was not what I had hoped for. While the food was quite good in places, the wild fluctuations in quality and the inadequate service left me disappointed. I will therefore probably prefer one of Tim Raue's other restaurants, which have left a better impression on me so far.

The Colette is a small but fine and chic restaurant right next to the Kurfürstendamm in Berlin. You are greeted very friendly, shown to the table, and the service is generally very attentive throughout the meal. With a good selection of vegetarian and meat/fish dishes, the menu scores visually. The dishes themselves have an excellent variety of tastes; Mr. Raue's team does an excellent job of incorporating all kinds of flavors into the starters, main courses and desserts; The desire to combine sweet-sour-bitter-salty-umami - and I would like to add almost creamy - in every dish quickly becomes apparent to the inclined connoisseur. And in my opinion it works brilliantly. A real experience, I will definitely eat there more often.

Four of us were here for dinner and were greeted very friendly and shown to the square. The service was attentive and routine. Fine pickles and juicy bread and butter were offered before the actual meal. The food was great - of course! I really like the depth of flavors here - the beef bourguignon almost always has to be it for me. Steak and tartare as well as the artichoke and all the desserts were also very tasty. I deduct a small point because at 10:30 p.m. the bill was placed on the table without asking - we would have liked to order a quick drink - and therefore felt like we were thrown out. With 30 minutes to go, that doesn't necessarily have to be the case. But we'll be back and will definitely get used to the new standard soon 😉.

We had the beef fillet Wellington menu for two with wine accompaniment and it was all super delicious. The service was great and the waiters were really nice. We were also packed something because my partner couldn't make it. It was beautifully wrapped and we were given a jar of sweet and sour cucumbers. Wine was always refilled when a glass was empty. We took part in the evening on September 13, 2024 with Tim Raue. The motto was classic French cuisine with appropriate, generous wine accompaniment. Tim Raue was on site and led the evening. There was a short story for each of the five courses. To make a long story short, the ambience, service and food were outstanding. But the highlight of this evening was of course the master himself. He has the ability to give the guests the feeling that they have known him for a long time, like an old friend. Don't be ashamed to come to every table for a selfie and a quick chat. A perfect host and entertainer. All in all a wonderful experience.

Walked in for lunch and in my case I chose the vegan 3 course menu - tomato tartare, raviolo and croissant with raspberry ice cream. All courses always have a certain spiciness, which is refreshing and makes the individual spoonfuls varied when eating. Great lunch menu and also the service, which is relaxed, professional and polite at the same time.

The Colette has a nice atmosphere and is located in the western center of Berlin in the immediate vicinity of the KaDeWe. We chose the lunch menu for 37 EUR. 7 small portions (including dessert). However, we are used to more surprising flavor combinations from Tim Raue. At least that's how it was in the, unfortunately closed, Villa Kellermann in Potsdam.

Despite the ongoing renovation which is expected to end on Aug, 24th, we were greeted friendly and warm as always. The Boullabaisse was fantastic, the Waguy Entrecôte a delicious new dish. We also liked the filet Wellington exceptionally. With regard to the wine: Try the white Croze Hermitage, the Chablis and the Chateaux Margot. They exceeded our high expectations. The 5-course Tim Raue menu has 2 very spicy courses, which the guest has to like. The other courses were aromatic and varied. No greetings from the kitchen. The service explained the courses with gaps and gave us good advice about the wine. The ambience has room for improvement: chairs hard and uncomfortable, furnishings plain. After more than an hour, only the second course was served, and after 3.5 hours we left the restaurant. It was a bit too long for us. The bill was €600 for 4 people with tips, a bit too high for me. The price-performance ratio could be better, I won't come back. I expected more ambience and pep in the presentation of the dishes on the plates.

We had a wonderful lunch in the restaurant. The food tasted excellent, the staff was super friendly and harmonized perfectly. Even when there was an error in the invoice (which I didn't immediately notice), I was informed about it on the same day and the overpaid amount was refunded. Our circle of friends recommended Brasserie Colette to us, so we took the opportunity to reserve a table for lunch during our stay. First of all, since this was our first visit, we were briefly familiarized with the map and menus. We felt welcome here and immediately had the impression that it was a good fit. That's how it should be: all the employees were very warm, always happy to have fun and were able to explain the respective dishes and drinks excellently and give advice on them. You didn't have the feeling for a moment that you were 'just a customer', but rather that you were spending an afternoon together. The dishes (salads as a starter, two different meat dishes for the main course, mousse au chocolat & crème brûlée as desserts) left nothing to be desired - everything tasted excellent and was of the best quality. The furnishings are also very successful and comfortable. As luck would have it, the boss himself was there that day and was kind enough to sign a book for us, so we also have a nice souvenir. For that, for the great care and the lovely afternoon: thank you and see you soon.

The food is excellent, but unfortunately the service is a complete disaster!!!!!! And we've played the whole game several times in this Laeen, but now it's over. I would rather spend my money in restaurants that work in a customer-oriented manner. That is appreciation on both sides. The shop was again quite empty. There are 6 tables for 4 outside, only one of which was occupied. We sit down outside, looking forward to a relaxed lunch. Then the waitress comes and looks at me and says hello. Nothing else. Just stares at me. I'm surprised and ask if she could bring us the map. We would like something to eat. Then she: “Have you made a reservation? • Me: “No, would that have been necessary?” As a reminder: an outside seat is occupied, no reserved sign on a table. We should go in and register first so that they can then record it. I thought - should I really get up now that she's already at our table and go back in...? My husband says it's all too complicated for him, so please just bring us the map. Unfortunately the card never came. We simply weren't served. My husband and I talked for a while and then decided we weren't going to go in and be lectured by a restaurant employee. By the way, this happened to us twice in a row. If a restaurant sets rules, you can also inform customers with signs and explanations. Or with a friendly explanation for next time. Unfortunately a no-go. Of course, the ambience also suffers because you don't feel comfortable when the waitress rolls her eyes when you ask for the menu. Very uncomfortable!

A spontaneous visit around lunchtime without a reservation brought us, in addition to the friendly welcome from the team, a nice table and a nice lunch. The aperitif we ordered came promptly and was perfect. The announced waiting time for the food (my wife had ordered the steak fries) was shortened by a gift of bread (very good taste), butter and pickles. My dish was the lunch special, consisting of six courses plus dessert. The consommé was very good, as was the asparagus, unfortunately the oyster was a bit off, but then the tartare was very good again. Then I turned my attention to the au point steak and the salad. Very nice. Finally the crumble. Very good. In the meantime, my wife was happy about the steak fries with very nice fries, a very tasty sauce and the steak. A small penalty here. She is used to less powerful steaks from France (some of them were still too bloody and the consistency was too unpleasant) and was therefore not entirely convinced. Overall, still a recommendation!

We were celebrating a special day for us, and it was the perfect venue. The restaurant atmosphere was fun, yet not so loud as to be intrusive. The service was attentive and familiar, and the suggested wine pairings were right on the mark. The food came out of the kitchen at just the right time, and was delicious. I liked the fact that the menu was limited, as I would expect when visiting a bistro.

La table dresse, a small selection of different dishes from the lunch menu on a Saturday in May. Very good in taste, sufficient, attractively brought to the table by a very nice employee. The homemade butter is a nice and tasty delicacy. Luckily the bistro was only very sparsely attended, so there was a bit of time for some very pleasant small talk.

I was there for a business lunch with a business friend. Because it was a bit difficult for us to choose. We decided on the lunch menu. This was actually a tapas menu. The quality was overall very good. But it would have been more pleasant not to serve all the tapas warm and cold at the same time after a waiting period. I could also have imagined a more typical French lunch menu. Although the bistro was almost empty, service was a little slow. In summary, you can go for lunch but you don't have to!

Amazing experience - will certainly visit again. We had the oysters, the artichoke, the beef tartare, octopus and ravioli. Every thing we ate was cooked to perfection and prepared with attention to details. The service was warm and friendly, with just the right gap between courses. I didn’t try the wines this time; for next time !

We went there yesterday. The oysters we had were room temperature and dry, which could be dangerous. The second course, the shrimp with lychee, was drowned in mayonnaise. It looked nothing like the pictures. I don't know what happened there. Big no go!

It is difficult to sell oysters a few meters from the huge oyster bar in KaDeWe. So Rau differentiates himself by serving them with a green apple sauce nevertheless called vinaigrette, despite the very sweet taste. The steak tartare was a very small portion presented on chopped cabbage. But atmosphere, service and quality are up to the standard.

We had the lunch menu, beef tartare instead of oysters. Excellent dishes, the leading element in the multiple menu is complemented with spices, without underlining the main thing but rather elegantly underlining it. A pleasure! Enjoyed everything at a beautiful table in front of the restaurant in the sunshine.

We came to have dinner with friends in this brasserie, and we’re looking for an authentic experience. The restaurant places it’s bet on a rustical and charming atmosphere; the menu is simple and the service friendly. The artichoke with its dips was good but a bit unspectacular. The steak & frites was good: the steak was tender and well prepared but didn't give me the “wow effect” I was expecting, looking at the price of the dish. It came with a bit of salad and a few crispy French fries but not made in “blanc de boeuf” (beef fat) and definitely not in the quantities usually served in traditional brasseries. The crème brûlée on its side was delicious. We had a lovely evening, but the food wasn’t on the level expected, particularly not for the price paid (130€ per person with wine).

Super delicious dinner with great taste in all dishes! Would like to highlight the starter with 'Prawns', which is probably the best starter with prawns we have tasted to date. And then their Steak fries, with a tournedos as tender as butter. Great recommendation!

The food was excellent. Onion soup and rack of suckling pig. Matching very nice and interesting white and red wines by the glass (German Riesling, Pommard, Southern Rhone). Especially nice if you come alone and can't drink a whole bottle. The service was very courteous, friendly and the work was fun and enjoyable. You notice that and it's obviously fun for the guests. The ambience is classic, a brasserie, open space, very attractively designed in my opinion. The mood is relaxed and relaxed - not at all tense. I'll be back!

Grunden til jeg valgte dette sted er at når en to stjernet kok som Tim Rauee lægger nanvn til burde det borge for en vis kvalitet. Det startede ellers godt med virkelig vellykket fiskesuppe . Et minus var dog at der gik 50 minutter fra bestilling indtil retten kom på bordet . Næste ret var over 30 minutter senere og her gik det helt galt. Pattegris er normalt meget mør og saftig .Her var hvad jeg ville en amatøragtig udskæring,iøvrigt meget lille ,der var stegt så hårdt at den var svær og skære og hård at tygge . Den tallerken bar ikke just præg af at komme fra et professionelt køkken men mavde måske sat opvaskeren til at lave mad . For at få noget til resten af vores vin bestilte jeg ost . Det tog også en halv time at servere og for 18/euro fik man 6 mundfulde på størrelse med smagsprøver i en ostebutik . Desserten bar ikke just præg af en god dessertkok i køkkenet så alt i alt må man sige at dette måltid bestemt var tre timer af ens tid værd . Hvis dette sted lå i Paris eller København have det forlænget have drejet nøglen om .

I'd been to Tim Raue last year and Brasserie Colette Tim Raue with friends last December. I love everything here so I invited my 14 friends here to celebrate our trip together. White and Red wine were amazing too. We were so excited and will be again.

Ohne Reservierung, aber mit entsprechenden Appetit bin ich auf Empfehlung in diesem Restaurant eingekehrt. Der Empfang und die Platzierung waren super-sympathisch und die Karte hatte viele Optionen für mich. Sehr gern hätte ich einen der empfohlenen Gänge probiert, aber auch die einzelnen Speisen sprachen mich sehr an. So hatte ich zuerst eine Austernplatte, welche mit dem passenden Champagner (Hausmarke) wunderbar harmonierten. Danach freute ich mich auf die Artischocke, welche mit den unterschiedlichen Dips gut war, welche ich aber auch schon besser erlebt habe. Exzellent war der Thunfisch, zu welchem mir ein passender Begleitwein empfohlen war und obwohl ich mehr als gesättigt war, ließ ich mich zum Dessert verleiten. Auch dieses war vorzüglich und zum Abschluss gab es noch eine kleine Beratung vom Sommelier, so dass ich einen sehr interessanten französischen Digestif kennenlernte. Alles in allen ein sehr schönes Restauranterlebnis, welches neben einem guten kulinarischen Erlebnis besonders von kompetenten und sympathischen Mitarbeitern getragen wird. Ich war sehr zufrieden und komme bestimmt wieder.

The service: Absolutely impeccable. Attentive. Professional. Incredibly likeable! The food: We all had the Tim Raue menu and absolutely loved it! The ambience: Extremely cozy. Not too bright. As elegant as it is unpretentious, with a soft, subdued Parisian chic, and with friendly, young service. My favorite lunch restaurant at the moment, and you can also eat at a reasonable price with the table dressé (French tapas, so to speak), with an aperitif, water and glass wine for around €50 to €60. Wine list is French German and the sommeliers understand their range (very strong in Burgundy). A la cart you shouldn't miss the Marocain prawn and the pigeon, and their French 75 is a very pleasing start. Don't forget the caramel candies at the end!

We decided to eat at the Quarre, thinking it would be a great place for lunch. Not only our food took 1 hour to arrive, but it was warm and average. Don’t recommend.

This is French restaurant but a little bit "à la mode allemande". The presentation of the dishes were really fine and the quantities were according to german standards which if fine, but too much for me. There was a bit of lack of "finesse" in the taste. I was entertaining American family members and wanting to show them what French cuisine was like. For them it was fine but for me (being French) I was disappointed even though it was so much better than almost all the German cuisine that I ever tasted. A good point for the good selection of French wine (rare in Germany) Price / quality ratio is not the great
