Entrecôte in Berlin

As always, simply **GREAT**! A must for every entrecôte lover. The menu is varied and offers something for everyone. The service is extremely attentive (and in Berlin 😉), and the hostess is always on site. Absolutely recommended!

We had a fantastic family dinner at Entrecôte Restaurant in Berlin. The entrecôte with fries was delicious, and the beef carpaccio to start was perfect. My wife enjoyed the snails soup and her filet mignon. Our daughter also loved the filet mignon. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Great quality for fair prices. Highly recommend!

A great restaurant! Furnishings very tasteful. The service is a dream. There were four of us in the restaurant yesterday. The service was super attentive, even though the store was very busy. Always friendly, the jackets were taken from you at the beginning and brought before you left. The food was fantastic. The fillet was perfectly fried, the creme brulee was delicious, the beer, the wine - simply TOP. I'd love to come back!!! 5 star deluxe!

We had dinner at Entrecote with 9 people on January 11th for my 73rd birthday. Right at the beginning I would like to point out our waiter, who served us all evening with an unobtrusive, friendly and attentive manner: Mr. Thanh. When I said goodbye to him and thanked him for the great service, he told me that he was still a trainee and that his commitment simply came from his heart. This really impressed me... But now to the food: since we had very different experiences with our small group in terms of starters as well as main courses and desserts, one thing can be said about all the dishes: all the guests at our table were consistently enthusiastic. There was not even a hint of a complaint in any dish, everything was to the point and then placed in the right place. One thing I can say for sure: we'll be back...Finally, a note to Mr. Thanh: keep your great attitude!!!

We love eating here, not just for special occasions, even if it is perfectly made for that. Whether it's a fine dining date night or an end-of-year dinner with the team - the service is excellent, as is the food. The drink selection is excellent. The tartare is freshly prepared at the table and is simply delicious. The matchstick fries with the perfectly fried steak are complemented by an incomparable jus and even though you are already very, very full afterwards: Crépe Suzette or a delicious scoop of chocolate ice cream still works.

Less than expected for such prices. Service got 5 stars compared to the general level of service in Germany. Food is "mehh" and die Ambiente ist nicht ganz angenehm

I was happily surprised. Probably one of the best meats I had in Berlin. I was tired of asking for medium rare meats and getting almost well done ones. They delivered it exactly as requested. Besides, the service was great and very friendly. They had a big selection of wine as well. I asked to change my fries to potato puree and it was a great idea. Everything was delicious! We also had desserts that were very tasty as well!

The food and drinks were very good. The staff took our wishes into account, especially at a late hour. During normal meal times in the evening it was very loud, but afterwards it was very pleasant in a smaller group at the back.

#2 Review: December 2024: Well as promised I managed to return. It took 4 requests as they were booked so reserve well ahead of time. It was the same fantastic experience and still well worth the effort. Attentive but not bothersome. I forgot my (inexpensive) hat when i left and they called within 30 minutes to say they had it. Now that's service. Original Review: January 2024: Just an outstanding meal. Great food, delightful service, warm ambiance were exactly what I wanted. I have not had crepes Suzette for a long time and just perfect. I could not have been happier. And I have tried Calvados at other restaurants but clearly the Calvados here is the real one because it was so flavorful and smooth. It’s in my Top 5 dining experiences. Definitely will go back when I’m in Berlin.

Nice restaurant, with small points of criticism. We wanted to visit Entrecôte for a long time and were already full of anticipation after hearing stories about it. We received a very friendly welcome and found the staff to be nice and helpful. Unfortunately, most of the service staff walked past our table and didn't refill the water. Normally this wouldn't bother us, but in the price range in which the restaurant is, this is quite common. The food also tasted good: We were particularly excited that the tartare was prepared in front of you and that you could also choose the ingredients yourself. The fish is also filleted in front of our eyes, which also impressed us. However, we were disappointed with the dessert: the crème brûlée was very solid, more pudding-like than creamy. The chocolate tart was dry on the outside, almost a bit burnt. We apologized for this and removed the crème brûlée from the bill, which we again found to be very nice service. We also ordered a cocktail, which was also very tasty and pretty to look at. All in all, the dessert annoys us a little more, as we would have given the restaurant five stars if it had been as good as the rest of the food. We would still come back, but in fact we wouldn't order dessert again.

It was my first time here and I was impressed by the service and the food. The steak was as ordered and cooked perfectly. The service was very attentive from start to finish and looked after us very well. We definitely felt comfortable. It should be clear that if you want to eat cheaply, you shouldn't go here. Then you won't find much here. But if you want to eat very well, especially meat dishes, you will get your money's worth here. Highly recommended, we would love to come back.

Extremely expensive and overrated restaurant! Service was miserable, incompetent and the meat (entrecote) was torture. The waitress didn't even know what types of side vegetables were. The table was a disaster, right next to a door to the storage room, where people went in and out regularly. I was annoyed that I didn't say anything about it on site. This was my second and last visit to this restaurant where they act fancy and charge exorbitant prices. There are better and comparatively cheaper restaurants there. This is all about appearances...

We were there with the company for the Christmas party. The meat was perfect 😊. The snails are excellent. Just one point of criticism: a little more moktails or non-alcoholic specials would have been nice. Otherwise everything is good 👍

We went with my girlfriend and we were generally satisfied, but the waiters were a bit indifferent. We paid around 90 euros for a main course and wine for two people.

The food was good, I enjoyed the starters a lot. But the main course didn't hit the right spot somehow, not that it was bad, was also tasty but something was missing. The atmosphere and service was great!

The food was delicious, of course we had the Entrecote. We were unlucky with a waiter who seemed mainly looking forward to the end of his shift.

A very classic, friendly French restaurant on a side street in Berlin Mitte. You can find all the French classics here. for me it is a perfect restaurant for lunchtime.

Enjoyed the food but the big waiter was so annoying and rude.. he was difficult about us having tap water and was not easy to talk to.

Sadly underwhelmed by this place after seeing the high ratings & reviews. The food was ok-good. The bread was dry & boring, the lobster small in size, the lamb undercooked and crepe suzette obviously frozen and not authentic. For the price - we expected more.

A good French restaurant that we visited twice. The food was good and the services were excellent! It gave a good French feel. The first time we went there without booking. We sat in the most inner section of the restaurant. It was hot (high 20C) and there was no air condition. When the other guests left, the atmosphere became cold. We reserved a table for the second time. We sat in the front section and the atmosphere was excellent. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. Recommended!

The restaurant offers fine dining and is aimed at guests on a slightly larger budget, although budget-friendly dishes are also available. The service staff spoke either French or a difficult-to-understand German with a strong accent, which sometimes led to communication problems. **Eat:** **Starter:** We ordered the carpaccio twice, which was very tasty and left nothing to be desired. The soup we tried was also tasty. **Main dish:** An entrecôte with thin fries and Béarnaise sauce was ordered. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium rare and tasted great. The fries were tasty, but difficult to eat with a fork - chopsticks would have been helpful :). The Béarnaise sauce was not to my liking and detracted from the enjoyment, so it was not used. Another person at the table ordered asparagus and Wiener Schnitzel. A third person had the tuna steak on mashed potatoes, and the fourth person had an entrecôte with seasonal vegetables. Everyone enjoyed the food very much. Some of us had dessert, which was also well received. Service was generally polite and attentive. Everything was very tidy and we ate with silver cutlery. A little fun fact: Angela Merkel was in the restaurant at the same time and was sitting a few tables away from us.

I was very intrigued by this restaurant with its positive reviews. The rating is just off the charts. And so, after taking a couple of photos at check point Charlie, I skipped off to lunch. The restaurant was half full at lunch time. There was no need to wait. To be honest, I didn’t even open the menu. After looking at the photo of the food menu on Google, the order was made in my head. On the way to the restaurant, I already knew what I wanted. My order is: - onion soup 🍜 - entrecote steak 🥩 ‐ glass of Bordeaux 🍷 - chocolate fondant 🥧. To be honest, of all this, only the chocolate fondant let me down. The chocolate had already spread on the plate when served and it was not the most delicious 😋 fondant. I definitely recommend it. If you want to experience a GASTRONOMIC ORGASM, this is the place for you. I’m posting a photo of the crime 😊. Well, now about the shortcomings, and they exist. When serving, the onion soup 🍜 almost slipped off the plate, the girl was not careful, it could have been grief, it was hot, there was no apology. She just turned around and left, fixing the dish herself. The French language 😝 is of course beautiful, but I only heard angry instructions, orders and reprimands to the staff. They were just being drilled, but there are visitors in the restaurant, why should I listen to this 🤷‍♂️? It would be better to include classical French music. The fondant had already leaked out when serving, but should have died from my cut 🔪. When ordering, they offered white wine to go with the meat, which to me is nonsense. The attitude towards visitors is not equal to everyone, I noticed how they served a young Muslim couple, it was very cool. The location of the toilet directly under the kitchen raises many questions. The steps are worn out and require improvement. Bottom line: the prices are worthy of excellent food, but the service also needs to be raised to a high level accordingly.

A wonderful French restaurant in the middle of the city center. Nevertheless, there is a relaxed calm about her. The food is unique.

Majority of the waiters were very cocky and not personable, lacked a bit of friendliness but others were very helpful, hostess also. Wish i saw more smiles :)

The price is of course in the higher segment, but you can notice the excellent quality of the meat. The ambience is not too stiff and you can spend a relaxing evening.

Great experience from the minute we entered to the end of our dinner. Sweet and efficient service without being intrusive, awesome food and wine selection. We tried black angus chateaubriand, chicken, foie gras and oysters, everything tasted like a great home cooked meal: fresh, juicy, no excessive heaviness, just perfect. Price/quality absolutely justified. There’s also a huge dessert menu but I didn’t make it that far this time. I also found the lightning and the atmosphere very pleasant, will definitely be back!

A really great shop. In my humble opinion, they have the best steak (fillet) in town. Baby spinach as a side dish. 🥰 The whiskey sours (with egg foam) are extremely good. What needs to be emphasized is that the service is outstanding. Attentive, friendly, quick and organized. An employee once smelled cork as he walked past our table. So before we could drink the wine, he had already changed the bottle. Clear recommendation!

The ambience of the restaurant was nice, but despite making a reservation early, we were seated at a door where employees were coming in and out. Rather disruptive when eating and chatting. The waiter was friendly but not very attentive. We also had to wait about 40 minutes for our entrecôout, even though the restaurant wasn't full at the time. Unfortunately, the meat was tough and the matchstick fries weren't great either. I would have expected more for the high price. In any case, I won't be coming back!

The quality of the food is very good, but I don't think the price-performance ratio is balanced. The restaurant seems to be based on the concept of entrecôte in France, but it doesn't come close to the original.

Recently dined there - while the location is really welcoming and charming, the food doesn't measure to expectations, with especially a bad quality/price ratio. Good fries (allumettes), but poor chateaubriand. It's the kind of restaurant were you shall go for the bottle rather than the glass. Nice service, present and responsive.
