Entrecôte in Berlin

We had a very pleasant birthday lunch today. The food was delicious. Thanks to everyone!

That is actually one of my favourite places in Berlin. Very good steaks (entrecôte) meat is tender and juicy , bravo. A good selection of wine and good service👌🏻 Interior is classy. For sure this is one of the places that I can recommend and wehere i can invite my friends without any doubt.

The service is pleasant. The atmosphere is French. The food is not at a level appropriate to the price.

A highly recommended restaurant with an interesting menu and delicious dishes. Not exactly cheap, but upscale quality with commensurate pricing. A bit embarrassing/petty, though: our request for some butter on our bread was charged a euro. This is completely unusual at this level.

Are you looking for authentic French cuisine at a very high standard? Look no further. Entrecôte serves elevated French classics that truly taste like back in Paris (and I would know, I’m French!). Every time we visit with family or friends, we’re blown away by the flavors and the excellent wine selection. I always go for the filet de boeuf with sauce béarnaise, and it never disappoints. Highly recommended for anyone craving a true taste of France.

A French restaurant with authentic brasserie cuisine. Everything is run quite professionally, but that's not necessarily a disadvantage. The prices are reasonable, including the wine.

I can't formulate it))), we wanted French food and we got it, but everything was somehow overdose. Everything was somehow salty and too concentrated taste, no matter how strange it may sound))) Everything was good, but in terms of food, something was missing or, on the contrary, too much. My wife said that she had the impression that a chef from the Middle East was preparing French recipes))

A stylish and attentive steakhouse. The taste and presentation were nice. Recommended. Long queues form after 18:00, which shows how popular it is. We were lucky, we were able to sit down without waiting too long, but I also saw people waiting in line for hours. I recommend those who are thinking of going to go early.

We were there with the company for our Christmas party. The meat was perfect 😊. The snails were excellent. Only one criticism: a few more cocktails or non-alcoholic specials would have been nice. Otherwise, everything was good 👍. I'd love to come back with my family. Second visit just before Easter. With family. It was worth it. Everyone was very satisfied 😊. We were there again with family and dog 🐕. In the summer, you can also dine outside the restaurant. Another fantastic evening. Thank you 🙏

A highly recommended French restaurant in Berlin: Entrecôte During my trade fair visit to Berlin, I searched online for a nearby restaurant that evening. I chose the French restaurant Entrecôte, whose menu on the website caught my attention, especially the classic steak frites. Upon entering the restaurant, I was greeted in French by the hostess, which immediately gave the ambiance an authentic touch. Even though I didn't have a reservation, I was immediately assigned a table, albeit with a certain time frame. Tip: Make a reservation! The atmosphere in the dining room pleasantly reminded me of a traditional Parisian brasserie. The service was extremely friendly and attentive. My order included escargots for starters, followed by steak frites with delicious pommes allumettes. For dessert, I expressed a desire for a scoop of vanilla ice cream with the crêpes Suzettes. No problem! Definitely try it. Overall, I can highly recommend the restaurant Entrecôte. It offers a successful combination of classic French cuisine, a pleasant ambiance, and attentive service. A truly worthwhile visit!

We headed towards Entrecôte with high expectations. Would it really be that good? We were escorted to our table and had a lovely seat. The children's drinks were included and we received a basket of delicious fresh bread on the table. I think to chew on it like that, because there was nothing with it. No butter, no olive oil, no spreads, nothing. We ordered our own drink - cremant de bourgogne according to the menu, but the waiter pedantic said cremant d'alsace - and a starter, and then the menu was taken from us. Away! No more chance to look further at what we were going to enjoy. So time to marvel at the black brigade, who ran around three turns with sweat on their foreheads. Almost bumping into each other, running fast and eating food that falls off plates, everything is possible when you are so busy. We therefore felt very reluctant to bother them. The wine was delicious and so were the starters. Fantastic! The layout could be better, but hey, we're in a French restaurant. The quality was great! Starter finished, then the menu for the main course arrived. A bit clumsy, but it can be done. We choose and then the long wait could begin. In the meantime, I've seen and laughed at enough clumsy Harrys. One eternity later the food arrived. Plates in the wrong place, extra plate forgotten, things didn't go well. Once again a delicious meal, I have never eaten so deliciously in France! 10 for la cuisine, great! We skipped dessert, then the bill came. The gentleman told us very clearly that it was WITHOUT service. Yes, we noticed that. He gave suggestions on how we could round up the bill. Yes, thank you for the cookie, greetings! White Brigade was great, Black Brigade was a flop. Delicious food, not cheap, take the service into account.

French bistro with lots of great classic dishes in high quality. All the waiters had lots of charm and was very friendly. It’s a bit on the pricey side but that’s expected from such a place and in downtown Berlin.

We had the classic menu with a glass of wine each. Salad, bread and butter followed by steak and fries with Fred?? Sauce. Everything except the sauce was excellent, steak cooked to perfect medium rare as requested. The sauce was quite disgusting, sorry no other way to describe this dark brown congealed mess, nothing like what you get in London. We will definitely go back but remember to ask for the sauce on the side. Next time I’ll ask for

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Restaurant Entrecôte in Berlin and it was a thoroughly positive experience. The service was exceptional: the staff were always courteous, attentive and made sure we felt completely comfortable throughout the entire visit. I chose the 350g entrecôte with matchstick potatoes and Béarnaise sauce – an excellent choice! The meat was perfectly cooked, with the ideal degree of doneness. I would particularly like to highlight the Béarnaise sauce, which was wonderfully creamy and perfectly balanced in terms of taste. The matchstick potatoes complemented the dish excellently and rounded off the experience. The wine – both red and white – was excellent and went perfectly with the food. As far as the prices are concerned, everything was within reason and absolutely justified for the quality of the food and the service. Overall, a highly recommended restaurant for anyone who wants to enjoy good meat and a pleasant evening.

The food itself was quite good despite the price, but the service was a disaster. This ruins a beautiful moment. How can the waiter say: "That's too little tip, better 100 euros more"? That's a disgrace!

If I had a restaurant, I would send my employees to Entrecote at least once to see how professional and friendly service is! Fast but not hectic... attentive but not intrusive... professionals! The food is of course also known to be good, steak fries are a must for every meat eater (and for vegetarians just the fries, they are world class!)

Called at 10 p.m., reserved for 10:30 p.m. Arrived; Even after what must have been a long and strenuous evening service, the service is world class: attentive, friendly, highly professional. Our starter, which we shared, came beautifully presented on two plates - not a given. Our moules-frites and coq au vin were delicious, even at such a late hour. We were perfectly looked after every step of the way from the moment we walked in the door until we left the door. There are professionals at work here, hats off to them. We'll definitely be back

The food was delicious, but the mussels were too salty. When we mentioned it, they kindly offered us a replacement, but we had already finished our meal. In the end, they gave us a complimentary crème brûlée, which was a lovely gesture. I recommend this place!

If you don't want to take any risks and are looking for a restaurant that cooks with a quality that you can't get at home, has service that is hard to beat and an ambience that really makes you feel comfortable, then you've come to the right place. You don't come here to meet your food needs, but to really have a great evening. My top recommendation for Berlin Mitte!!!

Hello, we went there on a weekday evening before entering the restaurant we would have looked at the price, it's really a tourist trap. The very friendly waiter (normal) when we go to pay he asks us is there something we give for the service we are nice like everything we say it's normal and there when I go to tell him to take 5 euros my man tells me 10 euros anyway and the waiter who takes us out that seems reasonable to me no but I'm dreaming. Generally I don't like to criticize but here.

We had a fantastic family dinner at Entrecôte Restaurant in Berlin. The entrecôte with fries was delicious, and the beef carpaccio to start was perfect. My wife enjoyed the snails soup and her filet mignon. Our daughter also loved the filet mignon. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Great quality for fair prices. Highly recommend!

A great restaurant! Furnishings very tasteful. The service is a dream. There were four of us in the restaurant yesterday. The service was super attentive, even though the store was very busy. Always friendly, the jackets were taken from you at the beginning and brought before you left. The food was fantastic. The fillet was perfectly fried, the creme brulee was delicious, the beer, the wine - simply TOP. I'd love to come back!!! 5 star deluxe!

We had dinner at Entrecote with 9 people on January 11th for my 73rd birthday. Right at the beginning I would like to point out our waiter, who served us all evening with an unobtrusive, friendly and attentive manner: Mr. Thanh. When I said goodbye to him and thanked him for the great service, he told me that he was still a trainee and that his commitment simply came from his heart. This really impressed me... But now to the food: since we had very different experiences with our small group in terms of starters as well as main courses and desserts, one thing can be said about all the dishes: all the guests at our table were consistently enthusiastic. There was not even a hint of a complaint in any dish, everything was to the point and then placed in the right place. One thing I can say for sure: we'll be back...Finally, a note to Mr. Thanh: keep your great attitude!!!

We love eating here, not just for special occasions, even if it is perfectly made for that. Whether it's a fine dining date night or an end-of-year dinner with the team - the service is excellent, as is the food. The drink selection is excellent. The tartare is freshly prepared at the table and is simply delicious. The matchstick fries with the perfectly fried steak are complemented by an incomparable jus and even though you are already very, very full afterwards: Crépe Suzette or a delicious scoop of chocolate ice cream still works.

I was happily surprised. Probably one of the best meats I had in Berlin. I was tired of asking for medium rare meats and getting almost well done ones. They delivered it exactly as requested. Besides, the service was great and very friendly. They had a big selection of wine as well. I asked to change my fries to potato puree and it was a great idea. Everything was delicious! We also had desserts that were very tasty as well!

The food and drinks were very good. The staff took our wishes into account, especially at a late hour. During normal meal times in the evening it was very loud, but afterwards it was very pleasant in a smaller group at the back.

#2 Review: December 2024: Well as promised I managed to return. It took 4 requests as they were booked so reserve well ahead of time. It was the same fantastic experience and still well worth the effort. Attentive but not bothersome. I forgot my (inexpensive) hat when i left and they called within 30 minutes to say they had it. Now that's service. Original Review: January 2024: Just an outstanding meal. Great food, delightful service, warm ambiance were exactly what I wanted. I have not had crepes Suzette for a long time and just perfect. I could not have been happier. And I have tried Calvados at other restaurants but clearly the Calvados here is the real one because it was so flavorful and smooth. It’s in my Top 5 dining experiences. Definitely will go back when I’m in Berlin.

Nice restaurant, with small points of criticism. We wanted to visit Entrecôte for a long time and were already full of anticipation after hearing stories about it. We received a very friendly welcome and found the staff to be nice and helpful. Unfortunately, most of the service staff walked past our table and didn't refill the water. Normally this wouldn't bother us, but in the price range in which the restaurant is, this is quite common. The food also tasted good: We were particularly excited that the tartare was prepared in front of you and that you could also choose the ingredients yourself. The fish is also filleted in front of our eyes, which also impressed us. However, we were disappointed with the dessert: the crème brûlée was very solid, more pudding-like than creamy. The chocolate tart was dry on the outside, almost a bit burnt. We apologized for this and removed the crème brûlée from the bill, which we again found to be very nice service. We also ordered a cocktail, which was also very tasty and pretty to look at. All in all, the dessert annoys us a little more, as we would have given the restaurant five stars if it had been as good as the rest of the food. We would still come back, but in fact we wouldn't order dessert again.

It was my first time here and I was impressed by the service and the food. The steak was as ordered and cooked perfectly. The service was very attentive from start to finish and looked after us very well. We definitely felt comfortable. It should be clear that if you want to eat cheaply, you shouldn't go here. Then you won't find much here. But if you want to eat very well, especially meat dishes, you will get your money's worth here. Highly recommended, we would love to come back.

Extremely expensive and overrated restaurant! Service was miserable, incompetent and the meat (entrecote) was torture. The waitress didn't even know what types of side vegetables were. The table was a disaster, right next to a door to the storage room, where people went in and out regularly. I was annoyed that I didn't say anything about it on site. This was my second and last visit to this restaurant where they act fancy and charge exorbitant prices. There are better and comparatively cheaper restaurants there. This is all about appearances...
