Discovered today and loved it, delicious food and good wines, cozy little restaurant

Ambience is nice, but the tables are placed too closely. Discreet entertainment is therefore not possible. The escargots were good, but the main course was only lukewarm. The cooking time wasn't even asked, so the meat wasn't even medium. The red wine was considerably too cold, but at least the problem was remedied after complaints. Overall, the evening was rather a disappointment, as the chef's CV meant that we could expect more.

This is French restaurant but a little bit "à la mode allemande". The presentation of the dishes were really fine and the quantities were according to german standards which if fine, but too much for me. There was a bit of lack of "finesse" in the taste. I was entertaining American family members and wanting to show them what French cuisine was like. For them it was fine but for me (being French) I was disappointed even though it was so much better than almost all the German cuisine that I ever tasted. A good point for the good selection of French wine (rare in Germany) Price / quality ratio is not the great

Quite a limited menu but great quality. My steak was excellent. Gorgeous opulent art deco surroundings.

A place with a beautiful view of Brandenburg Tor, excellent food and delicious dessert! It is a very beautiful place to eat and drink good wine!!

We were disappointed with our visit, even though the food was mostly good, although sometimes cold and bland. The service staff were absolutely stressed/overwhelmed, the manager/coordinator that evening was absolutely unfriendly and unpleasant to deal with. Above all, I find it unacceptable when employees are treated unfairly, sometimes even intolerably, as we experienced from managers (a gentleman with a suit and blonde hair). There was a really hectic, stressful atmosphere. Only people who are as close to the concept of stylish and young as possible are “desirable” and as soon as you have eaten you are subtly and constantly asked to leave so that the table can be reoccupied. What a shame!

Prices for food and drinks were increased significantly in 2024. Most of the food is finished products. The facility is getting old; Various benches in particular require repair or thorough, professional refurbishment. Instead of repeatedly covering up cracks and holes with adhesive tape, you should invest in repairs... The artificial turf on the terrace could also be renewed.
