Workers are exploited and not paid properly! The boss pockets the tips himself but requires his employees to share the tips with the kitchen. NEVER AGAIN!

Simple food but tasty. Beautiful location on the Main meadows. Clean toilet, but narrow cubicles. Chairs uncomfortable. Nevertheless: I'll be back!

Here we cook and serve with heart and skill. There is good draft beer and delicious wine, so everything is good when it comes to drinks. The service is attentive, warm and courteous, it couldn't be better. What comes out of the kitchen is well crafted in the best sense and definitely at the top end of a pub and more than you would expect from a beer garden. We had asparagus with hollandaise sauce, beef carpaccio and zabaglione with cassis sorbet. It was as delicious as it reads! Everything is definitely freshly prepared here (you can hear the whisk in the kitchen when making zabaglione). The menu is small, but what you get is excellent. Thank you!

Sehr schöner Biergarten, allerdings preislich zwischenzeitlich überzogen. 1 Weißbier in der Selstbedienung € 5,--!!!!! ...wir sind hier in Augsburg und nicht am Münchner Stachus

Most beautiful beer garden in the area. Only the boss needs to be replaced. A moody person. The guests don't need him, but he the guests. And he should understand that at some point.

Very delicious drinks and food. The Hofgarten Wirtshaus has a wide selection, catering to every taste. The service is friendly and fast. During peak season, starting in May, reservations are no longer available: first come, first served. We return there again and again with family and friends.

Den Stadtstrand kenne ich seit seiner Gründung, aber nach den Corona-Jahren erreichte er leider nicht mehr den guten Stil der früheren Jahre. Über die merkwürdige Taschenkontrolle am Eingang könnte man ja noch hinwegsehen... Vielleicht ist es der aktuelle Zeitgeist, dass das nicht gerade preisgünstige Essen vom Angebot her nun eher auf Fastfood-Niveau gelandet ist und nur noch Selbstbedienung in den Ausgabestationen (das sind mittlerweile überwiegend aufgehübschte Stahlcontainer) besteht. Die "Musik" war am 1.Mai nervig laut und auf Bierfest-Niveau. Sehr, sehr schade alles, es ist schon ein schmerzhafter Rückgang im Vergleich zum früheren Gesamteindruck. Ich behalte den Stadtstrand dennoch gern in der Erinnerung, jedoch an die bessere Zeit.

Everything was delicious and we didn't have to wait long for the food. The staff was very friendly! We'll definitely come back again!

Drinks came after 1.5 hours, lunch after 3.5 hours, were there at 11 a.m., lunch at 2:30 p.m. Never again, 2 services for 70 people. Totally overwhelmed and without a plan.

Unfriendly staff; no longer a typical Bavarian beer garden where you can eat your own food, but merely a pub garden; a run-down playground littered with garbage and where you can't leave the kids unsupervised. We definitely won't be back!
