Schöner schattiger großer Biergarten für groß und klein ! Großes Angebot an Essen und sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal

Heute das erste Mal hier gewesen. Ich hatte einen Krustenbraten, der optisch zwar ansprechend aussah jedoch geschmacklich ungenießbar war aufgrund der Soße, die über den ganzen Teller verteilt ist. Meine Mutter hatte die Fleischküchle, mit leider der selben Soße. Zudem haben die Fleischküchle geschmeckt als wären sie vegetarisch! So haben sie auch ausgesehen. Farblich ähnlich wie Karton mit Karottenstücken. Der Leberkäs war in Ordnung. Pommes ebenso. Kann ich leider nicht empfehlen…

Wirklich sehr schönes Ambiente und sehr freundliche Mitarbeiter. Wir haben Fleischpflanzl mit Kartoffelsalat und Spareribs gegessen; alles war vorzüglich. Im hinteren Bereich sind mehrer Möglichkeiten für Kinder zu spielen. Insgesamt waren wir wirklich begeistert!

Schöner bayerischer Biergarten, mit großen Bäumen, vielen Bierbänken (so wie es sein soll). Riegel Weizen ist nicht unbedingt mein Fall..bin so Franziskaner Typ😂...aber schönes Ambiente. Grosse Auswahl an Essen, warm/ kalt👍. Hatte den Schweizer Wurstsalat im Glas, wirklich gut. Sauberer, ordentlicher Biergarten in der Stadt. Parken ? Na da muss man halt schauen. Als Besucher 6 Personen / Essen, Trinken "hätte"...ich mir freieparken gewünscht ! Aber egal, die 4,50€ waren dann a scho wurscht 🫶 Ich hoffe allerdings, dass mancher Fahrer das Parken noch lernt ! 1,5 Plätze für einen schwindeligen VW Passat sind schon viel😂👋

Ein echt schöner Biergarten mit Selbstbedienung. Bei höheren Temperaturen immer noch sehr angenehm. Das Essen schmeckt sehr gut zu Preisen die voll inordnung sind.

Ein toller Ort, um draußen unter Bäumen ein Bier und ein paar schnelle Mahlzeiten zu genießen.

Wir waren heute im Riegel Biergarten. Fazit enttäuschend. Preise zu teuer 1 Getränk/1 kleiner Wurstsalat und Brezen für 18,90 Euro Qualität nicht gut wir jeweils zwei Brezen zu unserem Wurstsalat. Diese waren so hart mit denen hätte man Nägel in die Wand schlagen können. Einzig das Ambiente ist okay.

Sehr schönes Biergarten Ambiente. Leider ist das Essen Hit or Miss. Hatte schon gute Sachen aber der Wurstsalat war das letzte Mal ungenießbar.

Großartiges Bier und gutes Essen!

Wir sind dort eingekehrt und es war richtig nett dort. Hatten a halbes Hendl mit Pommes und Kartoffelsalat und Fleischküchle mit Kartoffelsalat. Alles sehr lecker. Der Herr beim Essen war super und auch auch der Smalltalk war sehr nett. Getränkeausgabe und Kasse war auch top. Der Platz unter den Bäumen war sehr angenehm bei den heißen Temperaturen und das Bier zum abkühlen hat auch super geschmeckt 😁

Ich war begeistert, der Service und das Essen waren hervorragend. Eines der besten Schweinefleischgerichte, die ich je gegessen habe.

Wunderschöner alter Baumbestand, tolles Ambiente. Selbstbedienung an der Wärmetheke. Getränke zum selbst nehmen oder vom freundlichen Personal gezapft. Teils gibt es auch kleinere Portionen. Ketchup, Mayo, BBQ-Soße und Balsamicodressing gibt es zum selbst holen, Senftütchen (kostenlos) muss an der Kasse nachgefragt werden. Es schmeckte ganz gut, Krustenbraten und Backhend waren aber eher trocken. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne.

Ein toller Biergarten. Super gross. Schön schattig. Wie msn sich einen Biergarten vorstellt... Nur das essen lässt langsam nach.... Dafür gute Getränke und man darf ja sein eigenes essen mitbringen. Prost und einen tollen Aufenthalt 🍻

Die Bedienung an der Bar sagte mir, der Biergarten schließe in 30 Minuten. Sie war nicht begeistert, dass ich ein großes Bier bestellt hatte. Auf meine Frage, ob dann auch die Tore schließen, hieß es nur, wenn ich mein Bier nicht innerhalb von 30 Minuten austrinke, müsse ich das Glas mit nach Hause nehmen. Sie war sichtlich verärgert und frustriert über ihren Job. Vielleicht sollte sie sich einen anderen Job suchen. Ganz anders war es im Restaurant, wo ich mir ein Bier holte. Dort war der Service fantastisch.

Ein sehr netter und schön gestalteter Biergarten. Es gibt jede Menge verschiedene Speisen die alle sehr gut aussehen und preislich mehr als gut sind! Getränke gibt es auch ohne Ende. Wir kommen gerne noch mal wieder!

A typical beer garden right in the heart of Augsburg. I always enjoy coming here. Beautiful trees. Really cozy. The staff is very friendly, too. Update: It's definitely worth a visit again. Opening hours are regular again, and when the weather is nice, they always have the full selection of good beer garden food. For me, it's still one of the nicest beer gardens in Augsburg.

Great beer garden, even with brass music, but the food is poor quality, unfortunately including classic dishes like roast pork, which could have been prepared well. The portion was huge, but the meat was rubbery.

We were there last Saturday around 1 p.m., and the atmosphere was simply lovely. The food, unfortunately, was less than excellent; we had pork knuckle with potato dumplings and fried chicken with potato salad. Both dishes were lukewarm at best, and the knuckle was completely dry, as if it had been sitting all day. The best part of the food was the gravy. For a Bavarian-Swabian beer garden, this was truly disappointing. Especially since the prices for what we got are quite high. It's a shame, I remembered it being much better. There's not much to say about the service; it's a bit cafeteria-like, so you don't have much interaction.

The food was very good the first 2 times but the 3rd time was a disaster, I'm sorry, the roast was extremely hard, the dumplings were good but very small, the sauce was good but runny, the currywurst was okay, the sparribs were really porky and not fully cooked or burnt, very greasy, the drink was very good, I was really disappointed, unfortunately the last time I had a snack, okay, the cheese was dried out, I wanted a snack but no thanks

A great Bavarian beer garden, just as you'd imagine. You sit in the shade under old trees. Self-service, but the staff at the counter are very friendly. The food is as you'd expect in a beer garden. We'd gladly return.

The beer garden is really nice, but the service (okay, it's self-service) is truly abysmal, and the cashier was very unfriendly. The food, we had currywurst with fries, was very hard-skinned, and the fries were very pale and lacking salt.

The beer garden opens at 3 p.m., and we arrived for dinner at 3:30 p.m. Everything is self-service. Schnitzel, currywurst, and everything else were already pre-cooked in large quantities; even the roast pork had already been sliced ​​and was probably waiting until the evening rush for hungry customers. And that's exactly how everything tasted, even though it was already only lukewarm, and the roast was quite dry. This isn't really cooking anymore, just keeping it warm and reheating it. The ambiance is nice; you sit under shady trees, and the restrooms are clean. The owner can't do anything about the wasp and bluebottle plague, but this was pretty extreme. I find the sign and the can at the cash register inappropriate: "For tips. You can also tip when paying by card." If I'm allowed to get my own food and drinks and return the dirty dishes, why and to whom should I tip? Surely the owner should be giving me a tip...

The beer garden is nice and big and great with kids. The food was rather mediocre this time. We were very impressed last summer and were unfortunately disappointed this year. No more schnitzel, no more burgers... But the beer and Spritz were very good.

The food was unfortunately no more than average; the portion was okay, but the spare ribs were too dry, and the Obazda (traditional sausage) was, unfortunately, the worst I've ever had. Getränke auf hohem Niveau! Das Aechte Dunkle ist ein Hochgenuss. Aber das Essen. Die Currywurst ist für Fast Food Verhältnisse auf niedrigster Qualität und ganz weit weg vom Original. Eine rote Wurst mit einer nicht essbaren bzw. kaubaren Haut. Der Kartoffelsalat ist mehr als kalt und kommt gefühlt aus einem Kunststoffeimer von der Metro.

Well, the ambiance is unbeatable, which can't be said for the food. We had fried chicken salad twice, and just serving it with the canned potato salad was a "treat." The fried chicken was puny, and the salad was even bigger. The whole thing cost €14.90. If I had ordered the whole thing in Austria, it would have been a feast for the palate. The meatballs with the same salad cost €10.90... Imagine if good Riegele beer tasted like that? The Bavarian cream made up for a few points. Thanks to the "good" food, our wedding day was a complete success.

It's what you imagine when you hear the word "biergarten." An open-air place where you can enjoy a good beer and typical German food, with benches and tables shaded by leafy, enormous trees. It has a playground where children can enjoy themselves and even a zip line. One of the best biergartens I've ever visited.

A cozy beer garden in a nice, shady spot. Theoretically, you could live here! The drinks were all okay. We had a beer, a shandy, a rusk, sparkling water, and a chabeso. The fries, however, were a disgrace; they were soggy on my plate. There was no sign of quality. The Obazte (traditional German sausage) was okay. The regular-sized pretzel was a whopping €1.20. Nice ambiance, but the quality could definitely be improved. The service was friendly, but also somewhat sleepy.

We were there this Saturday evening with a group of 7 from Ulm and thought it was great. The food is good and the beer tastes great. I particularly recommend the large currywurst with fries. The prices aren't excessive because of the self-service and, above all, the beautiful tree puts you in a good mood. You sit in the shade and feel at home. It really is a very nice beer garden. The grounds are clean and the whole atmosphere is just right. It's really great what the people of Augsburg have there! They should advertise more. As a foreigner you don't know that.

Hello, I received absolutely terrible service in your beer garden. The gentleman was wearing a cap with a size 44 on it. I understand that the beer garden is very busy, but I still expect a minimum level of standards when selling expensive fast food. I wanted to buy a single meatball. This was refused because the cashier apparently couldn't bill them individually. When I asked what side dish I should order, I was told I didn't have to. What I disliked most was the employee's rude response. Rude and arrogant. The currywurst was cold inside. The fries were well-stored and warm. Of course, I won't be coming back.

Hallo, ich habe in diesem Biergarten absolut schlechten Service bekommen. Der Herr trägt eine Kappe mit 44 oben drauf. Ich verstehe das der Biergarten hoch frequentiert ist , dennoch erwarte ich ein Mindestmaß an Standarts wenn man teueres Fastfood verkauft. Ich wollte eine einzelne Frikadelle kaufen. Dies wurde verweigert da die kasse diese wohl nicht einzeln abrechnen kann. Auf die Frage welche Beilage ich dazu nehmen muss, wurde mir geantwortet, das ich gar nichts muss. Am meisten hat mir diese patzige Antwort des Mitarbeiters missfallen. Unverschämt und arrogant. Die Currywurst war innen kalt. Die Pommes gut gelagert warm. Wiederkommen muss ich natürlich auch nicht.

Non si può andare ad Augusta e non possare alla Riegele, una delle migliori birre della Baviera (lo testimoniano i numerosi premi che riceve). Ci sono stato a cena con la mia famiglia e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Se si opta per il Biergarten si deve tenere conto del fatto che è tutto self service e la scelta delle pietanze è limitata. Se si vuole usufruire del servizio bisogna allora andare alla Wirsthaus che c'è all'interno del birrificio. Piatti tipici delle birrerie con porzioni generose e prezzi nella media. Sconsigliato a chi si aspetta un ristorante gourmet, non è nella filosofia del locale.

I was in Augsburg during the European Championships in 2024 and visited the beer garden at Riegele – a real experience! The food was great, especially for a beer garden, but of course the beer was the real highlight! It just fits the whole atmosphere perfectly, especially during an exciting football game. The huge screens and the great atmosphere enhanced the whole thing even more. The service was quick and friendly and you could just sit back and enjoy the evening. If you love beer, good food and football, you should definitely stop here.

This review is for the Wirtshaus, the restaurant. I am once or twice at this place for the last couple of years when visiting in Augsburg and In the past the place was good. This time was the worst experience I had in any restaurant. They changed the menu, I guess a new chef or owner was hired. The food is just awful, small portions and not German. I had a main dish which looked like a typical starter (salmon) and then the Maultaschen. Just not good and you really have to try hard to screw this up. I mentioned this to the manager and she brushed me off, new and younger guests….. and so on. The service was slow, unfriendly and the overall experience was just bad. That is it.
