Inedible cheese spaetzle that was completely drowned in oil. The saleswoman looked like someone had died and didn't speak, smile or make any other attempt to show normal human politeness during the entire ordering process. But the shop is beautifully decorated. All in all, not a great experience, even by folk festival standards. Not recommended and definitely my last visit.

Unfriendly service, Bosna and grilled sausage not good. Rolls are cheap baked rolls that are still half raw! And that for the price! Not recommended.

We came with a large school class and everyone received excellent service. It tasted very good and we're looking forward to the next time.

A must for years when we are on the Plärrer (we were just there again yesterday). Food, drinks and service were tip top. We can only recommend a visit to the Almdorf, especially if you are traveling with children. We can recommend the Almdorf 100 percent!

Prices, food and staff are great! We always enjoy going to the Almdorf! I've been to the Almdorf for several company parties with around 35 employees, and every time everything was more than satisfactory!

I've been going to the Almdorf for years. I've had EXCLUSIVELY good experiences there. The food is completely reasonable in price, it tastes good, and the atmosphere in the Almdorf is simply fantastic, right between a beer tent and a beer garden – simply amazing! The owner definitely put a lot of thought into the decor and furnishings of the Almdorf. I love looking at the details at every table in the Almdorf! If you want to eat well and inexpensively in a great atmosphere at the Plärrer, then the Almdorf is really the only place you can go! I also like to rate my entire stay when I'm out and about. I noticed that the toilet prices at the Almdorf are the cheapest in the entire Plärrer. All in all, I'd happily give it more than 5 stars!

Just awful and unfriendly people. Save your money.

So I really enjoy going to the Almdorf on the Plärrer. Normally the Almdorf is not overcrowded. There is also Riegele beer, which I clearly prefer over Thorbräu and Hasenbräu in the festival tents. Only the slightly to moderately misogynistic jokes on the tables and those that are otherwise standing around ("women's parking space" for witches' brooms) don't actually work anymore these days. That's why only 4 stars. Maybe it's time to decorate something?

We were so happy! Unfortunately the wheat came from a jug. It's just not the same. A pity. Mau.

A cozy location with various options to linger over a drink or a meal. There are covered tables with benches and also round bar tables that allow several people to gather comfortably around them. Everything is beautifully made of wood and gives a warm atmosphere.

Very disappointing. Great anticipation of the fire sausage and then something like that... Not yet fully baked baguette. The skin of the sausage is hard to chew and the quality of the children's bratwurst and the pork bratwurst, including the baked roll, leaves a lot to be desired. Very bad price-performance ratio!

Self-service beer garden during Plärrerzeit. Prices fair. Beer etc. 4 EUR, soft drinks 3 EUR. The food can be ordered from the associated snack stand at normal snack prices. Unfortunately, no one feels responsible for the cleanliness of the places. It would be great if 1 - 2 people could wipe the tables every now and then and remove the rubbish. Compared to previous years, the beer garden now has a first floor with a terrace and an enclosed room for colder days. The decoration is very loving and has some details.

What a delightful experience at this charming beer garden nestled in the stunning historical ruins of Augsburg! The setting itself is magical, blending rich history with a relaxed atmosphere. We decided to dive into their local beers and tried the pilsner, which was crisp and refreshing. We also sampled the goiß, a unique mix of dark beer with cola and cherry liquor. It was a fun choice to help us beat the heat, though I found it a bit too sweet for my taste. The food was a pleasant surprise too! We ordered some pommes and a fresh salad, and both were delicious. The fries were just the right amount of crispy, and the salad had a vibrant flavor that paired well with our drinks. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, filled with friendly locals and attentive staff who made us feel right at home. It’s a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy great company, tasty food, and excellent local brews. I highly recommend spending an afternoon here—it's truly a gem in Augsburg!

Overpriced, over €5 for a plate of fries, which weren't exactly a hit. Also, the food options aren't clearly advertised, there are large boards for drinks and a few specials displayed with menu items listed, but it's unclear exactly what the entire menu includes. Relatively long wait times, and the staff are moderately friendly. Then the card reader brazenly asks for a tip before you can even pay. Tipping should be considered an extra bonus, usually only given for outstanding service or ambiance. Neither was really present, at least with street vendors. The hygiene standards are also interesting if you take a look into the "kitchen." The employees simply eat individual fries from the bowl of fries with their hands, without gloves. It doesn't exactly make you hungry when you finally get your food several minutes later. The health department will definitely be happy the next time they stop by. I wouldn't recommend it. I'm already looking forward to the operator's toxic response (just look at the other reviews with criticism that are being made fun of). Edit: This is ridiculous. I think the kiosk operator doesn't understand the meaning of "review." Of course, it's subjective, based on one's own impression during the visit. It was never claimed that this was an objective investigation or large-scale scientific study. I can only speak from my own experience. And it wasn't good. Besides, he seems to be twisting every word three times and taking himself too seriously. I recommend professional help.

A very nice beer garden with shady seating under large trees. Delicious beer and a nice selection of food. The Riegele Spritz is a must-try.

Disappointing visit to the beer garden – a shame about the beautiful ambiance Our visit to the Reespark Restaurant in the Abraxas Cultural Center was unfortunately a real disappointment. Upon entering the beer garden, we noticed that the staff seemed extremely listless and disinterested. Before we were even seated, newly arriving guests were informed that due to low occupancy, they would be closing at 8:00 PM – it was only early evening (6:00 PM). It's understandable that some of them turned back immediately. Our table was also dirty with bird droppings, which were neither noticed nor removed. When I ordered a plate of aspic, I received a carelessly presented, ready-made product poured directly from a plastic cup onto my plate. There was no sign of it being freshly prepared. By 7:40 PM, the beer garden was still full of around 20 people. When we tried to order more drinks, we were told that they had to be finished by 8:00 PM – after all, they were closing. Hospitality isn't the same. Conclusion: If the newly arrived guests hadn't been treated so discouragingly, the beer garden would have easily been filled by another 15 people. The discontent was also clearly palpable at the other tables. As nice as the place itself is – with this kind of staff and this attitude, I absolutely don't recommend it.

A large, pleasantly shady beer garden with a tolerable noise level even with a large number of guests. Very friendly staff and fast service. Drinks have to be ordered separately. Guests sit at beer tables.
