Really nice beer garden in a quiet location with great value for money.

Food was amazing! The property is very spacious. We came with another family and the children were able to walk around and admiring the park, animals, bridge and pond that were near by. Highly recommending this place for families.

On Wednesday evening, coming from Freiburg by train, I was happy to find a place to rest. I suffer from a nerve disease (Parkinson's disease) that severely limits my movement. I waited for service for a while. When he came I greeted him with “Hello!” - "You leave the restaurant immediately!" the gentleman snapped at me. "Why this?" I asked. "Because I say so!". No more words were spoken. There is an older guest who was sitting at the next table and can attest to this. - Of course I wasn't rude. - Of course I wasn't drunk, nor did I seem that way. - Of course I had a well-groomed appearance. - Of course you can see my disability when I move. I left the restaurant very offended by this form of Bavarian hospitality. It's not about me. But about 2 things: Firstly, other disabled people should never come to this location. Everyone who has a cross to bear should be spared the fate and secondly: such a place simply cannot exist in Germany in the 21st century. A friend's telephone complaint about this incident only earned him aggressive, primitive insults. I would not recommend this restaurant as a destination to any civilized person. Langos, tarte flambée, Mutzbraten with sauerkraut are the dishes of winter. Mulled wine, punch, coffee in various variations, beer, and mixed drinks. Everything tastes really delicious and the ambience is great. We like to come and come more often. Always highly recommended.

We were there for a company party, I was just thrilled, the food was great, the service was great, the atmosphere was great, and it has nothing to do with an old, dark clubhouse anymore, keep it up.

Sadly, we were only there for a funeral coffee. The friends who organized it celebrated numerous family celebrations there and were satisfied.

Best beer garden in Roth. Ritterbier and the Leberkäse are a dream. Unfortunately, Theo doesn't open as often anymore due to health reasons. Full 5 points out of sympathy. Update 7/20/21: Downgraded to 3 stars due to poor service experience. Update 09/03/24: Closed at least temporarily since the end of August 24, see article in Rother Zeitung.
