Very disappointing! We were there for lunch today, looking forward to the food, but, surprise, the shutters were down, the menu was taken down, and the blackboard was empty, even though the website said it was open. If it's closed, then it should be advertised, especially in these times; I have no sympathy for this!

Dear Marlies Roedl, That's certainly a bold statement. We always strive to make our guests happy. Our business is a wonderful one, but also very demanding. We strive and appreciate every single customer in our home – so here's a brief update from me: As the former mother-in-law of a family member, I've reported this review to Google. Until this post is deleted, here's a little something for everyone reading this: You haven't been with us for at least 15 years. I'm happy to inform you that in Germany, slander, defamation, or similar offenses can be prosecuted. This can even lead to a civil claim for damages. =) We don't know exactly how you came up with this idea or why – it doesn't matter. We gladly accept honest criticism to ensure our guests have a pleasant time. Perhaps some of you will chuckle at this point. But it's no laughing matter when actions like these harm others, whether privately or professionally! Without resentment or great excitement on my part. However, it was less than 15 years ago (I was there with at least 15 of my colleagues (pictures are still available, and we all worked in the public sector, so we know the law better than anyone else). Please don't write lies in public anymore, and for your future, it's important not to spread such things to the world just because your mother, who ran the Straussenwirtschaft at the time, didn't like my review! You're completely different, as a member of your family already told me! You're writing to me about slander, defamation, and criminal prosecution? I understand very well that you haven't had time to even understand the meaning of reviews yet, otherwise you wouldn't have sent me such a serious slander! Very loud and unmistakable throughout the entire area. No fun if you want to enjoy your evening undisturbed or have to get up early the next day. Update. Even after two years, the relationship between neighbors hasn't changed. Especially on weekends, people often "party" there until well after midnight. Update after replies from the operator: First of all, thank you very much for your reply. Even though it took 11 months. Well, actually, 2 years and 11 months. Because I originally wrote this review almost 3 years ago. As for the rating itself, I'm not rating the noise in the surrounding area, but rather the noise emanating from your restaurant. Okay, this noise nuisance probably mainly occurs during celebrations. It's still annoying. And by the way, your neighbors may have come to terms with it. As far as we're concerned, calling them directly hasn't helped in the past either. Well, let's wait and see how this season develops. Summer is still long.

Very quiet restaurant on the golf course. Friendly service. Good prices. Good quality food. Plenty of parking. We'd be happy to come back.

What a treat! We had an absolutely perfect evening at Bastian's. The individual dishes were excellently prepared and presented; I can't remember the last time I was so surprised by individual dishes – and I'm still thrilled even after two weeks. The service – fantastic! First-class. Simply fantastic. The ambiance – chic, clean, yet cozy and inviting, but not overly pretentious. All in all, a successful concept! The menu changes every two months, and we'll definitely be back and let ourselves be surprised :-)
