I'd happily give it 15 stars for the ambiance! Where else can you enjoy a good meal in the morning for a modest price? The butcher next door just makes everything even more enjoyable!

This is a real pub where you can enjoy beer and other drinks. The pub may be showing its age, but it still has a cozy charm. There are even two beers on tap at regular prices, and you can have a pleasant chat with the landlady. Vending machines are unfortunately obligatory these days, but the place still feels cozy.

We spontaneously went there for dinner, and it was fantastic. The food was delicious, and the wait was reasonable. You could tell, and especially taste, that the food was freshly prepared, which is very important. We'd love to come back. Highly recommended!

Kaiserstraße 37, Friedberg, Hesse, Germany We like to stop by for drinks; I can recommend the starter platter with salad, but the rest of the food wasn't anything special...some of it tasted like frozen food.
