We were there in the summer and received very friendly service. The food was excellent, the portions were huge, and the taste was very fine. We're coming here for the third time today, and nothing has changed: everything is top-notch!

Summary: If you’re looking for authentic Thai cuisine, you’ve come to the wrong place. Kokumy is just another one of those restaurants in the city that focuses solely on Instagrammability. The menu is a mystery, and the prices are exorbitant for what you receive. You can't simply order 1-2 dishes; it’s not enough. The rice for the saucy main course has to be ordered separately. If you're lucky, you'll spend around €50 per person, and you’ll be left wondering what was even Thai about the food. The service was a disaster. There were five of us, and the staff clearly struggled to keep up - in the end three people where involved to service our table. After we placed our order, chaos ensued. The dishes came out one by one, with no rhyme or reason. Some at the table hadn’t even started eating while others were already finished. We had to repeatedly mention that some dishes were missing. One server told us the kitchen was working on it. Another confirmed that items had been forgotten, and the bartender explained that some dishes were served as a first course and others as a second—something we were never informed about. He claimed the kitchen had to do it this way due to capacity issues, but there was no prior notice. The highlight of the night was when we were charged for the wrong table. During the correction, it became clear that, in addition to a lack of service skills, basic math knowledge was also absent—despite the use of a calculator. Fried vegetables and eggplant drowned in soy sauce can be found in far more delicious alternative restaurants. Don’t be fooled by the decoration and seemingly good reviews on Google.

Tasty, quick and at a fair price.

The food is OK even if a bit overpriced. The hygiene leaves a lot to be desired. The waitress, an older Tibetan man, is terribly unfriendly. Threw the card on the table, barely understands German, touches the top edge of the glasses where you drink. It would be better with friendly service and more hygiene. Unfortunately, it is not recommended.

I don't understand how this place can have such a good rating on Maps. The food was okay, but we expected much more for the price. The service was nice, but unfortunately quite incompetent (telling us that a wine was from a different region than where it was really from), inexperienced, and slow. We waited for almost an hour for our mains. The whole place feels tacky and cheap and what people who have never been to a decent restaurant imagine a fancy restaurant to be like. There are much much better places to go if you are willing to pay 80€ on a menu.

I’ve had the pleasure of dining in restaurants all over the world, and this one in Frankfurt truly stands out. The steak was absolutely exquisite—melt-in-your-mouth tender and perfectly paired with a variety of rich, flavorful sauces. I also ordered the **Tulum ceviche**, which was vibrant, fresh, and full of bold flavors—a beautiful fusion that transports you straight to Peru and Mexico, all without leaving Frankfurt. The tuna and salmon tostada was another highlight—refreshing, well-balanced, and packed with flavor. And if you're a fan of bold, authentic dishes, the **chicken with mole** is a must-try. Deep, complex, and comforting—highly recommended! The cocktails were stunning, both in presentation and taste, each one offering a unique twist that perfectly complemented the meal. Entgegen aller Bewertungen davor hatten wir keine lange Wartezeit, obwohl wir um 19h an einem Samstag da waren. Das Sushi war sehr lecker. Surf and Turf war okay. Die Getränke waren top. Wir würden wiederkommen! Die Kids fanden es auch klasse.

If I could give 0 stars I would. 1. food doesn't taste good! 2. Portions aren't even enough for a small child?? More carrots and sprouts than pasta? That was honestly 3-4 forks, the main thing is to cover everything with the chicken so that it looks big. 3. breaded sushi should be warm, my tooth enamel was pulled when I ate the sushi sooo cold! 4. you are not taken seriously 5. It's clear to me that I'll never go there again
