Nice ambience, great food, friendly service.

Delicious food. It took some searching when we entered. That wasn't really clear. We first ended up at the toilet and after that you still don't know if you're going well. Good service and delicious high quality food and wines

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sometimes you stumble into a restaurant and wonder why you haven't been here before! That's exactly what happened to us at this wonderful place of German-Asian fusion cuisine. Stylish and cozy? But hello! As soon as you enter the restaurant you feel like you are entering a designer living room decorated by someone with really good taste. But now to the essentials: the food. A 4-course menu that not only conquered my taste buds, but also my heart. The starter variation with tempura oyster mushrooms with tuna tartare. A crispy poem! The middle course: a pork belly that danced with joy on my fork. And then the main course: the duck… oh, the duck! Perfectly cooked and so tender I almost adopted them. The crowning achievement? A matcha cheesecake that reminded me that tasting “not like a field of flowers” ​​is actually the highest compliment you can give a matcha cheesecake. :-) Not to forget the service, which was at least as charming and attentive as Marie, who guided us through the evening with a smile. And then there were the cocktails! Extraordinary and so perfectly balanced that I almost felt like a professional bartender - almost. All in all: An absolute insider tip that you would prefer to keep to yourself... but that would be too mean. ;-) Thank you for this fantastic evening – we will definitely be back!

Sadly the food did not meet our expectations. The place itself is quite atmospheric and has a quiet vibe, but the main course I chose - a 45 euro beef fillet - was a disappointment. The steak itself was quite good, but it was tiny and served with a seemingly unrelated assortment of tough, barely cooked vegetables in some sort of vinegar based marinade. I would expect more at this price point. The starters we had (some sushi roll and beef gyozas) were tasty but in our opinion came with unnecessary sauces on top that overpowered them and drowned out their flavor.

Google says that it closes at 11 pm and we took a taxi and arrived at 10:20 pm and they said it closes at 10 pm. Someone needs to get the facts straight. Please update google.

It was amazing night we started with tuna tartar and salmon sushi and we end up with salmon main dish it was fantastic. The service was good and friendly the place it’s romantic and nice. I recommend and I will be again there.

Our evening at Zukaya in Frankfurt was a pleasure from start to finish. As soon as we entered we were greeted in a friendly and polite manner, which immediately made us feel at home. The evening began with an excellent greeting from the kitchen and a refreshing aperitif of Lillet and ginger beer. This perfect combination was the ideal start to a wonderful menu. The starter, a beetroot salad, was not only beautifully presented but also tasted excellent. The freshness and delicate aromas were a real treat for the palate. The main course consisted of salmon with green asparagus and mashed potatoes. The salmon was cooked to perfection, the asparagus was crunchy and the mashed potatoes were wonderfully creamy. The crowning finale was the matcha cheesecake. This interesting combination of sweet cheesecake and the slightly bitter taste of matcha was exceptional and rounded off the menu perfectly. Zukaya not only impresses with its excellent cuisine, but also with outstanding service and a pleasant atmosphere. Every visit is an experience and I can fully recommend the restaurant!

Wonderful Japanese food. A great find with a city filled with German food. Had to wait a few to be seated, even though we had reservations when no one was there. Nonetheless, excellent and our waiter was very attentive!

Der erste Moment zeigt an einem Dienstag Abend mit top Standort leider sehr wenig Personal und auch wenig Gäste. Die Karte ist übersichtlich aufgebaut lässt ein hohes Niveau vermuten, entsprechend der Beschreibung und vorallem der Preise. Leider blieb es bei der Vermutung, die „Snacks & Sushi“ Variationen waren hübsch angerichtet 7/10 geschmacklich. Die Hauptspeise sehr enttäuschend, Lachs mit 2 Stangen Grünem Spargel (die Endstücke waren hart und nicht essbar) Mini Kleckse von Kartoffel- wasabi Püree für 34€. Das Selbe bei der Ente zu der es keine wirkliche Beilage gibt außer 2 Blätter Pak-Choi und eine majo - Bratensoße (Entenbrust, leider komplett durchzogen mit Sehnen) - Beilagen ausschließlich Pommes, kein Reis oder passendes. Service: Teller und Besteck werden während man isst abgeräumt, leider ein absolutes No Go. Dennoch ein freundlicher Mitarbeiter, den man mit Schulungen und einer guten Führung auf ein top Niveau bringen kann. Viele Baustellen an denen man arbeiten sollte um den Standort zuhalten, andernfalls werden die Gäste leider ausbleiben.

Very nice restaurant with amazing interior design that offer table where you have a bit of privacy, ideal for a date. Very chic but still cozy atmosphere with very attentive service. We both had starter, main, and dessert and all was super tasty. My highlight was the macha cheese cake that was outstanding! Not too sweet as it was served on a lemon cream with fresh wild berries, 10/10 for me.

Ambiance: Clean cellar restaurant with pleasant table and room layout. The plant-based wall decorations and the lighting design support the theme in a pleasant way. Cleanliness: Dining room, service area and toilets without complaints. Furniture, floors, table textiles and service, cutlery, glasses and plates etc. are also clean. Service: Very attentive and always strives to meet your own requirements and take customer wishes into account. We also found the special treatment as a result of a birthday child nice. Eat: In my opinion, this is where the problem begins. The dishes were consistently fresh and okay, but the details were too simple and the portions were often too small. The shrimp starter was very good, the sushi was fresh but without variety and nothing special and expensive (8 pieces x 3 people = 60€). The main course, in our case the duck breast, was too little, hardly any crust, otherwise good I expect the side dish of fries for a child without wasabi seasoning but at least with a hint. Our salads were very small, the cucumber salad was very good, the Asian coleslaw was bland. For dessert we had 3x Medovik (42€) whose typical layered structure was not noticeable and was also very small in portions. Price: 3 starters, 3 main courses, 3 desert, 3 gingerale as well as a coffee and 1 espresso as well as a bottle of water 250€. I have to say that for me that doesn't justify what's on offer...even for Frankfurt City. For me it's less about the money and more about the offer. Conclusion: Nothing inspiring in good quality and pleasant service and ambience at a price that should make more possible.

Gestern habe ich zum ersten Mal das Restaurant Zukaya besucht und war sehr zufrieden. Mir hat alles gefallen: exzellenter Service, gemütliche Atmosphäre, leichte, unaufdringliche Musik, die die Kommunikation nicht beeinträchtigt, höfliches und freundliches Personal und vor allem unglaublich lecker. Nach dem Abendessen in diesem Restaurant hatte ich nur positive Gefühle, ich möchte diesen Ort auf jeden Fall noch einmal besuchen und andere Gerichte probieren. Danke für Ihre Gastfreundschaft. Ich kann es jedem wärmstens empfehlen.

My visit to Zukaya was really super nice. I was there on Sunday evening with 2 friends. We all had an aperitif which I could easily prepare in an alcohol-free version. Before we receive our starters we get a little greeting from the kitchen, and this could also be adapted to the fact that one of my friends didn't eat something that was originally included. We each had a different menu and were extremely satisfied with the taste of all 3 options. In our opinion, the main course of the vegetarian menu could have had a larger carbohydrate or protein source (she had the braised eggplant). But the meat menu was really top (the only suggestion for improvement: in my opinion, the miso sauce didn't go 100% with the beef tartare) and in general the quality of the food was really high, especially the meat in the pork belly and beef tartare. The service was super friendly and very, very fast all evening. We didn't wait long for our food and were regularly asked if they could bring us anything else. The atmosphere was very cozy and I really felt very comfortable. Unfortunately, from the outside it was very difficult to see where Zukaya was or where the entrance to the restaurant was, as there were no signs for the restaurant apart from a screen in the window on which a kind of "advertising video" was playing. It was a bit difficult to find, especially since you had to go through a small entrance to the basement (so unfortunately it's not barrier-free unless I don't have an elevator). In summary, I would definitely recommend Zukaya if you want to enjoy a nice evening and are willing to pay a little more for good quality!

The ambience at Zukaya is charming and inviting. Only the entrance to the restaurant could be better signposted; the name of the restaurant is currently only displayed on a changing screen. Apart from that, I particularly liked the furnishings, which are modern in dark tones. You don't sit in an open space, but in smaller compartments so that you have more to yourself, which I found to be pleasant. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. We were served directly at the table and there was never a long wait. The Berries Spritz, a variation of a Lillet Wildberry, tasted surprisingly good and was something new. This one is highly recommended. Everyone can find what they're looking for on the menu, regardless of whether it's meat, fish or vegetarian. I had the 3 course menu with fish. The Asian influences are noticeable in the taste and were incorporated creatively; the flavors were consistently coordinated. Next time I would also like to try the sushi. Due to the slightly higher prices, Zukaya is more of a restaurant for special occasions. However, it is definitely worth a visit, especially because of the beautiful atmosphere there.

Wir haben neulich gehört, dass der kroatische Sternekoch Deni Srdoc an der neuen Speisekarte von Zukaya mitgearbeitet hat. Deshalb wollten wir unbedingt die neuen Gerichte ausprobieren. Das Thunfischtartar auf gebackenem Reis, die Rindertartar-Pops, geschmorte Ochsenbäckchen sowie die Entenkeule waren alles fantastische Gerichte, die wir bestimmt wieder bestellen werden. Natürlich durfte der Matcha-Yuzu-inspirierte Cheesecake als Abschluss des Abends nicht fehlen. Das schöne Ambiente im Restaurant und der Service waren sehr zuvorkommend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall zurück.

Hier stimmt wirklich alles - vom Service, der unglaublich zuvorkommend ist bis hin zum super leckeren Menü, jedes Gericht hat das besondere Etwas. Great, chic restaurant with excellent cuisine! Discovered by chance online and fell in love straight away. The dishes are creatively put together - everything we tried was convincing due to the interplay of different structures and flavors that harmonized with each other. Beetroot in salt dough with miso sauce was super delicious! Salmon as the main course was perfectly fried, dessert (matcha cheesecake) was delicious. The sushi was good and fresh, but I personally would like more unusual creations.

The two of us were there in February, had made a reservation, but were not served for over 30 minutes. Other guests had a similar experience; the general mood in the restaurant was very bad. At some point I was able to handle a waiter who told me that the service was overwhelmed due to sick leave and that he couldn't guarantee that we would still be served. Then we left. Cases of illness can happen and are not a drama, but I would have liked more proactive communication from the start. Especially in such an expensive restaurant, you should value excellent service. Unfortunately, the lady at reception in particular was no help at all. But the story goes further. My friend left a bad review on Google, today he gets an email from Google. The restaurant has apparently hired a lawyer who questions the authenticity of the review and calls for it to be checked or deleted. Research shows me that neither the lawyer nor the law firm exists. What kind of methods are these??? Otherwise I can't say much about the restaurant experience, as unfortunately we weren't served. If you feel comfortable among strange wannabe influencers, you should definitely visit this restaurant. I would advise against everyone else.

The restaurant completely convinced me. The ambience was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. But the highlight was definitely the food! Every dish was very good but I liked the beef fillet best. I can only warmly recommend this restaurant and am already looking forward to my next visit!

A good headline would be that the demands reflected in the prices are not met. The reception and the escort to the table is good, but the guest area is in the immediate vicinity of the bartenders or the drinks bar. The staff there creates a beer tent atmosphere by loudly and recklessly talking about God and the world with each other and with visiting friends. This is unworthy of the standards of this restaurant. The service was inattentive and brought two courses before every drink. A friendly service lady tried to save what could be saved that evening, but this is not enough to raise the service above average. The food was plentiful and unusually large, which was good. The presentation of the food was very nice and appealing. The sushi, however, was a bit dry and possibly not entirely fresh. Maybe it was the preparation for a big fight day and some “preparatory work” was done. In fact, there was a somewhat strange smell throughout the entire restaurant, which I found unpleasant. At the end of this interesting evening it is clear that the service cannot compete with similar addresses in the city, and we expected much more based on the attractive advertising.

We were guests at Zukaya yesterday. We found the restaurant via Google search and luckily we were able to make a reservation online for the same day, so we chose it. Honestly, it's one of the best spontaneous decisions I've made in a long time. You first take a few steps down and are surprised by a spa-like atmosphere. There is a cloakroom service and you will be escorted to the table. The staff and our waiters were incredibly friendly and we didn't even have to wait if we needed something. We decided on a starter and main course and later spontaneously added a dessert because it was simply incredibly tasty. Not only did it look good on the plate, it actually tasted exactly the same. The wine was recommended to us and we didn't regret it. I don't normally write reviews but I think the restaurant definitely needs more attention. I travel a lot in Frankfurt and this isn't the last time I've eaten here. The rest of the group was also enthusiastic. Many thanks to the great service and also the greetings from the kitchen.

absolute Empfehlung ! Waren mit Freunden zusammen essen. Hatten ein 3 Gänge Menü was uns auf jeden Fall überzeugt hat! Da ich Vegetarierin bin ist es nicht immer einfach mich zufrieden zu stellen. Dennoch wurde ich positiv überrascht von dem Essen. Super Ambiente - super Service - super Essen- wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen!

We had a very nice evening at Zukaya. The atmosphere is very inviting and cozy. The welcome was warm and you immediately felt at home. This was our second time there and the new menu is really outstanding. The sushi selection for starters was very high quality. We particularly recommend the beef fillet, which was fried to perfection and was super tender! We'll definitely be back!

Das Zukaya ist ein hervorragendes Restaurant mit gehobener asiatischer Küche. Das Ambiente ist sehr einladend, modern und hochwertig gestaltet. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist nicht überladen und außergewöhnlich - bereits bei den Vorspeisen merkte man, dass hier Qualität groß geschrieben wird. Durchdachte Tellersprache und besondere Aromen heben sich hier ganz klar von anderen Restaurants dieser Klasse ab. Auch die weiteren Gänge enttäuschten nicht (ich empfehle als Dessert unbedingt den Cheese Cake zu probieren!!) Alles in Allem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Abend und kommen gerne wieder!

Very cozy restaurant in the heart of the city. Be sure to try the grilled eggplant, it tastes sensational. Sushi was also amazing. Super great and creative cuisine. In any case, a gastronomic enrichment for Frankfurt.
