Typical Frankfurt cuisine, rustic and hearty, but very tasty. Not as comfortably furnished as the main building, but also quite okay. Big praise to the staff, they are always very attentive and accommodating. I always go there at lunchtime, it's not as crowded as other places and it's less noisy. So ideal for relaxing.

Searched and found - delicious German food near the train station. Best leg of goose eaten in a long time, crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside.

Although food is not particularly tasty, it’s a very nice place with typical german dishes and drinks. Very clean and waiter was also nice to us. As almost any restaurant in large German cities, menu is in German AND English.

Newly furnished, this "Klosterhof" serves as an alternative restaurant for the long-established Klosterhof in the city center (closed due to renovation) - the food is excellent here and there, the service is very good. The atmosphere here is new, having only been open for a few months.

The woman who looks like she's the boss was super rude. It's the third time here and always the same. She rolls her eyes when we ask something. We asked to pay with cash but after we tried to pay with card she made a scene out of it. We spoke to other guests and they were shocked as well. Older lady next to us took more time to check what she wanted to order and waitress said in super rude tone that they don't have all day for one person. Thanks to this "boss" with long nails, our whole team decided not to come here ever again.

We were there spontaneously today at 2 p.m. without a reservation, but there was a very nice lady who welcomed us anyway. The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly. We would be happy to come back

I had a great lunch here during my visit to Frankfurt. This restaurant is only 6 minutes walk from the Central Train Station. The Schnitzel with creamy mushrooms & spätzle is a traditional German dish, which was wonderful and large in size. The waitress was very friendly and she had twice checked with me and asked how was my food. Great lunch experience.

Very very nice . Very nice atmosphere and the food tasted great. The staff friendly and quick. The food and drinks came relatively quickly. I also liked the acoustics. You can have a conversation without shouting! We'll definitely go there again

Lunch in the monastery courtyard, away from the hustle and bustle of the station district. Very nice, “good middle-class” restaurant with attention to detail in the furnishings. Great dishes, not just schnitzel, Leverkusen, fried potatoes, sausage salad or steak. In October also with typical Oktoberfest dishes. Drinks that complement the usual ones with delicious juices (e.g. elderberry, raspberry and blood orange) are well complemented. Taste wise: Very good, the steak was great, I would happily give it 6 points if that were available. The service was very nice and helpful, it just took a while to order, but no drama Outdoor area available, located on the (not too busy) road. Parking is only available with a lot of luck Conclusion: In addition to all the hustle and bustle and international cuisine in the Bahnhofsviertel, a great change, highly recommended. Prices are in the upper range but €50.- for 2 people with drinks is okay given the taste. Gladly again

The food was good, service was attentive and everything was very clean. The only thing that irritated me a little was the open vent pipes on the ceiling.

Googled the best beef goulash in Frankfurt....Klosterhof appeared...went with three friends, nice place, friendly staff.....the goulash was excellent, big portion with large beef chunks....other dishes not quite as good...but worth the treck for the goulash and staff.

I was surprised to find something so genuinely comfortable so close to the train station. It was accordingly full but the service tried very hard and was always friendly. The next time a train is delayed again, I'll definitely be a guest again and eat something.

Good place for typical german food

I chose it because it was close to my hotel, and I was worried because there weren't many comments, but I decided to visit and it was delicious😀😀

Nice service, everything was great. The volume of the other guests takes some getting used to. Otherwise everything is great, keep it up.

Unfortunately when you come in it smells mainly like a toilet smell. Unfortunately, also at the table. Maybe turn on the ventilation. Food was just okay. I don't think the Wiener Schnitzel was freshly prepared by a chef. That looked like frozen goods. Waiters and ambience are good. Gives a lot of room for improvement.

Fantastic food and beer. One waitress for the entire restaurant, but she was killing it. Get the alpine cheese and meat to start and have the Jager Schnitzel for the main course. It was some of the best food I’ve eaten!

There was a relaxed atmosphere on site, the service was friendly and quick. The food was good, the spaetzle wasn't quite to my taste but still ok. The map is nicely done and also quite large. Everything quite neat and clean.

There is an English menu! And the clerk can speak English, it's very warm, and the beer is delicious!

The portion is generous and there is a lot of meat. It is recommended that two people share the pork trotters. The large platter should be shared by at least five or six people and is covered with potato cubes. tasty. Various sauces are available.

We were a little disappointed when we found out that the "original" monastery courtyard was temporarily closed. But the new monastery courtyard did not disappoint either. As always, I had the knuckle and the Kaiserschmarrn, both of which were excellent as always. The atmosphere in the new store is modern yet rustic. The Kaiserschmarrn was so delicious that we forgot to take a photo of it. Thank you and see you next time.

Very nice modern-old restaurant. Everyone should find something suitable on the traditional menu, and there are also daily specials. The service was very friendly and prompt at the beginning, and our food was quickly at the table. The large pan is highly recommended, juicy, spicy and just right for this location. Unfortunately, the service stopped abruptly around 9 p.m., all our glasses were empty and we were thirsty, something similar could be seen at the other tables. Very unfortunate.

Very nice ambience, the chic furnishings impress with great wooden elements and a fashionable design. Service is very good and attentive, you are greeted in a typically Hessian manner and immediately have the feeling that all is well with the world here. Food just as good, large portions that will definitely fill you up. From homemade to regional, you can get every culinary delight here. The quality of the food is also good. A special highlight is the homemade Kaiserschmarn with vanilla sauce, which I can fully recommend and which even the Austrians can't hold a candle to. Conclusion: In the Klosterhof you (and women) are in very good hands, there is nothing comparable on this side of the Main. This wasn't our first, and definitely not our last visit. 5/5 stars

We found it by chance while fleeing the red light district (Bahnhosfsviertel) of Frankfurt where the Hotel travel agency placed us, and although we had to take a 20-minute walk to get a table, the wait was worth it, full of Germans having dinner and Drinking their beers, we ordered three typical dishes and the attention, speed and kindness of the waiters was rewarded with our satisfaction and a good tip.

Beautiful, clean and stylishly furnished restaurant. The food is delicious as always and everyone is always friendly and helpful.

Very nice restaurant. Unfortunately the staff seemed overwhelmed. Extremely long waiting times. Probably the worst schnitzel I've ever eaten is here. Not recommendable.

Food is good, very friendly staff, the restaurant is large and pleasant, and it is close to Frankfurt main station. Therefore it is easy to reach by public transport.

Nice clean restaurant located halfway between the Main and the main train station. In summer there are outdoor spaces with beer tent sets available. The staff is very friendly and quick. I had the Klosterhof sausage salad with fried potatoes. The taste is really very good. However, there is a star deduction for the questionable pricing. My portion cost €15.40. I would have expected a little more for that. Not necessarily in terms of portion size, but perhaps more pleasing to the eye. Remember, a Viennese-style schnitzel with fries cost just €0.80 more and there were even two schnitzels on the plate. It was at the next table. After I paid the bill, I had to deduct another star, again because of the prices. Because I paid €15.60 for the sausage salad and not the €15.40 from the menu.

Must try the Schnitzel with mushroom sauce.

So disappointed . The good rating is a total enigma or just fake reviews. Avoid ordering their Schlägler Chorherrenschnitzel dish. You get very little fried potatoes, the meat is hard and it arrived lukewarm. Definitely not the place to enjoy authentic German food. The man waiter was friendly but on the other hand the lady who was also serving was rude and threw the plates on the table in a very inappropriate manner. The neighborhood near the main train station feels very unsafe as well.

Very tasty and modern atmosphere. Huge portions! I really like it.

Great food and very cool set up inside the restaurant. Portion sizes were also very good so very impressed with the food. Big issue was that despite being closest to the bar, it was really hard to get more drinks and it took a while to receive them after we did get the servers attention. Also the server charged the wrong amount on the card machine which he fixed but took up some of our time.

Simply great! My wife and I really enjoyed it! I've never drunk beer like this before!

I took my newly hired colleague to a restaurant for schnitzel. It was her first trip to Germany. She immediately enjoyed it and couldn't stop talking about how good the schnitzel was. The creamy mushroom schnitzel was delicious, and I also loved the fries and salad. I highly recommend it if your hotel is around this neighborhood.

Food top, service top, staff top. Was there 2 days in a row, you're just among friends. I had to look after my wife in the hotel room because she was being treated at the university hospital and the staff simply gave me a soup tureen, even though they had no way of knowing whether I would bring it back. Just nice.

I really had to go to the toilet. The staff didn't hesitate to show us the way to the toilet even though we didn't buy anything. The toilets were also incredibly beautiful and even smelled relatively neutral. was pretty strong

Place so nice, had to visit twice! My family and I went to Germany and visited a few different cities. We were googling where to eat in Frankfurt and my sister had found this place. Service was amazing, speed at which we got our food was perfect, and the staff was so kind. Like I said, we went here twice and we were only in Frankfurt for 4 days. The food was delicious, the menu has many options but I recommend the classics Schnitzel Vienna!

One of the best “good-bourgeois” restaurants in Frankfurt is finally back!

Even though I arrived very late, I received excellent and very courteous service and food. I can only recommend this restaurant and was impressed. The ambience was great and the turkey schnitzel with mustard sauce was very tasty, would be back again!

So if I could I would give it 10 stars. Have been here for the second time in the past 3 days. The food is incredibly tasty, the service is relaxed and friendly. Any time! Recommendation goes out. Thanks for the great experience!

Finally we have the monastery courtyard back!!! The new restaurant turned out really nice. Modern but still retaining the traditional spirit of the monastery. Food and service of the usual high quality. Nice seating outside too. We are happy and would like to come back.

After more than a year, we finally have our favorite dishes from the Klosterhof again. The “withdrawal” is over. It's a new, beautiful and pleasant location, but like before, with great, delicious food that we missed so much. The service and staff were as always courteous and warm. We immediately felt comfortable and in good hands again. We will be back. We recommend.

Two stars, and really only two and not one because of the appealing ambience. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired; he was rude, uncoordinated and slow, even though there were hardly any other guests present. Even simple requests had to be made multiple times. When asked how it tasted, we replied: “That’s fine.” The service’s answer: “Yes.” We didn’t know what to do with it. Unfortunately, the food seemed to be of the quality of a microwave meal, it certainly didn't feel fresh or homemade and therefore the price-performance ratio is unfortunately also poor. It's a real shame because we would have liked to visit this place more often.

Finally German cuisine in or near the station district. Very modern restaurant. Toilets are clean and there are enough of them. The food is very plentiful and tasty; no one will leave here hungry. Service very attentive and helpful. We'd love to come back soon!!!

How nice that the Klosterhof in Frankfurt has finally reopened. In alternative accommodation in the immediate vicinity of us. A good address for food and drink in a nice atmosphere. We are happy.
