Burbank Frankfurt in Frankfurt am Main

We stayed at Roomers for two evenings. We had dinner at Burbank once and had breakfast here twice. Staff and servers were attentive and friendly. Dinner was delicious with decent portions. We ordered one bottle of sparking water. We split m two appetizers: chips and guac and the Korean chicken. The Korean chicken was saucier than I envisioned in my head. My husband liked it. The guacamole was really really good. They have a good supplier for avocados because anything we had with avocados for breakfast was really good. My husband got the filet Mignon and it came with 5 different sauces for dipping. He asked for fries on the side and they also gave him truffle mayo (extra 4.50 charge which is fine but I wish they asked before giving it to us because my husband doesn’t even like truffle) I ordered the salmon with a side salad. Total cost was 142 euro without tip. If you are staying at Roomers Hotel and you are platinum member— breakfast is complimentary. The breakfast has a good spread for the buffet. There is a variety of bread (whole wheat, baguettes, bread with seeds in it) , juices, cold cuts, fruit, yogurt, and vegetarian options too. I really liked the cauliflower, hummus, and their edamame salad with peanut sauce. Oh there is a vegan counter too. Matcha avocado tasted pretty good in my yogurt. The breakfast menu was the highlight for us. Their avocado toast with poached egg was delicious. My husband said the eggs benedict was amazing.

This is the best hotel restaurant I’ve ever eaten at, after staying at hundreds of hotels. Everything was delicious for dinner and breakfast. If they told me Gordon Ramsey was back there I would believe them. I think I might even come back to eat at this restaurant even if I’m not staying at the hotel. Ingredients were top quality and very flavor. Really impressive!

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere, but honestly, it felt overpriced for what it offers. The food was fine, nothing particularly special or memorable, and definitely not worth the high prices. Overall, it was okay, but I don’t think the value matches the cost.

You can't dine better in Frankfurt. The food and drink menu leaves nothing to be desired. The beautiful and super-friendly female waitresses deserve special mention. For this reason alone, a visit to this wonderful restaurant is worthwhile for the gentleman and connoisseur.

Swanky place. Great service. I wish I remembered our server’s name. She’s young, shoulder length dark hair in a pony tail - excellent service. I really appreciated that she spoke to us at our table in the language we each spoke to her in instead of only German or only English.

We've eaten there several times now, most recently yesterday. The food is high-quality and delicious. There are a few minor drawbacks: the tomato ceviche is a bit bland. Everything else we've eaten so far has always been very well-balanced. The ingredients are exquisite and special. High praise for the service: open, sociable, a joy in their work, and competent advice on food and wine. Best wishes to Kiara with a "K"; you also made our evening special. Thank you very much. We'll be happy to come back. P.S.: The breakfast is also world-class and outstanding. At €49, it's certainly not cheap, but it's worth every cent; we've never had anything better.

It feels like you're in a resort hotel in Bangkok. The recipes are a mix of Southeast Asian and Japanese cuisine. Rather than filling dishes, there are more fancy, photogenic dishes. The food is generally sour and acidic. The sauce is a nice touch, perfect for the hot weather. As a full-service restaurant, the prices are a bit high. I recommend visiting for the experience!

I’ve had the pleasure of dining in restaurants all over the world, and this one in Frankfurt truly stands out. Great overall, especially the service!

Chic atmosphere and very friendly service, but given the food and the prices, I simply can't give it more than 2 stars. The two of us spent €200 on food (including the "Burbank Roll") that I could have gotten at another restaurant for €20 of the same quality. The only good thing was the duck steak, but it was still never worth that price. I was unfortunately very disappointed and can't understand the good reviews here.

Nice atmosphere.. good coctails, starters were excellent. tuna tartar especially. they can have more selection of wines. you can continue your night at the bar across the lobby. It gets busy after midnight at the weekends.

Excellent choice for Valentines Day - all of the dishes were excellent (Octopus, Korean Chicken, Burbank Rolls, Tostadas) as well as the desserts. Servings are small but the quality is superb. Service was also very good - they even provided a vase for the flower bouquet I brought with me!

The restaurant is like eating duck from a street restaurant and fries from Lidl for 3 times the price. The food is terrible, the presentation is terrible for the money.

Das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Die Wartezeit war optimal und die Bedienungen waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

 Wir hatten einen derart schlechten Platz bekommen, so dass wir zwischen zwei Sitzecken in der Mitte im Gang saßen, an einem viel zu kleinen Tisch, der nicht für drei Leute ausreichend groß war. Der Service war nicht gerade bemüht, trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage unsererseits, hier eine Lösung zu finden. Das Personal wirkte zudem sehr distanzlos und dutzte auch ältere anwesende Personen, was ziemlich unprofessionell wirkte. Lediglich die Empfangsdame repräsentierte den vom Roomers gewohnten exzellenten Service.

Food is not amazing is standard and nothing special for the price that you are paying. Dessert definitly dissapointed.

Overall was fine, most of the waitstaff were very-friendly. Food was good but in my opinion not extravagant to justify the prices. Ambience of the place was good for a date night or an outing with friends.

Wow - the Burbank has everything I want in an outstanding restaurant. It's chic and cool, so every outfit from the little black dress to the baggy is suitable there. The ambience impresses with style through and through. The service is perfect and at the same time very warm - children are also welcome at Burbank and are given a particularly loving welcome. The food impresses with its modern Asian taste experience and brilliant combinations. I have never experienced a guaccamole with such a balanced flavor in any star-rated kitchen. The fish quality of the sushi/sashimis is ideal, you especially have to try the Burbank Special Rolls. The chicken soup really packs a punch - delicious. The duck is crispy and tastes just as fantastic. I definitely recommend ordering the green asparagus from the side dishes, the taste of it blew me away. We'll definitely be back. Vorspeise kam vor dem Aperitif. Pornstar Martini für 25 Euro zu teuer. Filet mit verschiedenen Dips auf dem Teller sah sehr brachial aus. Maiskolben schwer zu essen, da mit übermäßig viel Soße übergossen. Thunfisch im Sushi war breiig - dadurch eher geschmacklos. Ente war extrem gut. Service unaufmerksam. Insgesamt für 3 Personen 400 EUR zu viel Geld für zu wenig Leistung. Schade.

A fancy restaurant with little professionalism: bread came 20 minutes after the salad was served, but the rice came 10 minutes before the chicken. Food was heavily seasoned, not very balanced. Service friendly but overwhelmed. And you don't necessarily want to meet the audience around the roomers either. It's a shame, the store could do more.

My visit to Roomers/Burbank was a wonderful moment of relaxation and recharging during a nightmarish 30 hour Flixbus trip from Budapest to Amsterdam. My trip was initially supposed to be only 20 or so hours long, but due to cancelled transfers and rerouting nightmares my journey led me through Frankfurt, where I had to kill 3,5 hours. I'm very happy I decided to have a cup of coffee at this fantastic hotel/restaurant. All the staff members, from the receptionists to the restaurant staff and the restaurant manager (Alex, I think🤔), were very welcoming and kind. A young and fresh group of people, who weren't overly formal, but very professional and wonderfully polite and kind. They received me with a smile, and when I explained that I just wanted to kill a few hours while waiting for the bus transfer they immediately offered to store my luggage for me and invited me to hang out in the restaurant while I wait for my transfer. It was comfortable, pretty, neat and tidy. Fancy, but in a nice "casual" way, with a great atmosphere. It's a place to relax or have a proper meal, but they even had really nice DJ-booth with the newest Pioneer CDJ's and DJM mixer. I definitely wouldn't mind playing a nice set there sometime, it looked like a fine place for a proper, casually classy party! 🔥 I couldn't really have breakfast due to the financial hiccups this nightmarish trip had caused me (I had to save the little money I had left in case there would be more obstacles along the way), but the buffet was displayed beautifully and the food looked amazing, With a wide range of tasty dishes and types of food. I'm sure that as well would deserve 5-stars. I even got a free coffee when I wanted to pay even though I insisted on paying for what I had ordered. But they wouldn't take no for an answer ❤️. I was also allowed to use their beautiful and luxurious bathroom facilities to freshen up and get changed. And so after relaxing for a while and freshening up, I left there recharged and in a much, much better mood and a smile on my face. This mostly due to the easy going vibes and the seemingly unconditional hospitality and professionalism of the staff. Having quite some experience in different areas of hospitality/service industry myself, I highly recommend this place. They're truly an example for the service industry, and how people should treat each other in general. I regret not having taken more and better photos, because initially I didn't plan on writing a review. But after this fine visit I just have to get the word out, and add the few quick pics I took, for what they're worth. When I will be travelling through Frankfurt again then I will most definitely take the time to dine and stay a night at Roomers. ❤️🔥 My humblest thank you to the wonderful staff, who I hope to see again in the not too distant future!

The service was friendly and wine and water were always topped up. However, we had the impression that they wanted to fill the table again quickly. Everything was a bit rushed. Der Service war am Anfang schlecht, unprofessionell, ungeduldig und aufdringlich und gab einem das Gefühl, nicht willkommen zu sein. Die Speisekarte war gut gestaltet, aber die Vielfalt machte es schwierig, eine Entscheidung zu treffen, insbesondere als die Kellnerin sich weigerte, uns eine Empfehlung zu geben. Die ganze Atmosphäre ist etwas düster, aber sehr gemütlich. Das Essen war gut, gut zubereitet, keine lange Wartezeit. Vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis her muss der Service passen, sonst ist alles in Ordnung.

Very good food at a significantly higher price level. Apparently had a new breed... half a lobster without claws! Unfortunately, when I asked whether the chef had whistled his scissors, there was no answer - which was a shame for the level.

The atmosphere was satisfactory, though not particularly impressive. The quality of the food was also lacking excellence. It could only be described as satisfactory at best. The interior design was exceedingly simple, and the service was notably sluggish, taking an eternity to bring both beverages and meals to the table.

When arriving at the restaurant, we stood in line waiting to be acknowledged. No eye contact at all. I had to approach the hostess. The waitress was very nice but she seemed overwhelmed, as our empty plates always took time to be cleared. We were waiting for quite a long time between courses. The food was ok.

The ambience of the restaurant is very nicely designed, but much too dark. The small designer lamps at the table aren't even enough to illuminate the menu. The cell phone flashlight had to be used. The prices are more than slightly excessive for the quality of the food. The starter for €35.00 consisting of 7 small tuna strips with some side salad is priced at the limit. It wasn't that good after all. I sometimes get better and cheaper duck from Chinese places. The dip alone was convincing. The half lobster was anything but lobster. Terrible and not worth the money for just under €50.00. Whatever the chef means by lobster. I can get a real half lobster at the street snack bar near the North Sea for significantly less money. Tonic in small, stylish bottles was very convincing in terms of taste, but at €6.00 ​​it was also completely overpriced. All in all, the restaurant couldn't convince us, even if the service and some areas were good. A pity.

- Sushi musste mit Löffel gegessen werden, weil es in der Soja Soße auseinander fiel - Bedienung furchtbar: 1. kein Dresscode (Jeans Hemd mit Jeans Hose) 2. nahm uns die Karten weg und anschließend nahm sie die Bestellung auf - natürlich brauchten wir die Karte wieder um den Namen zu suchen 3. vergaßen, dass wir zahlen wollten 4. Am Eingang/ Bar lungerten in Jogginghose gekleidete Personen, die sich lauthals unterhielten (gehörten wohl zum Restaurant) 5. flambierter Crêpe war ein viel zu dicker Pfannkuchen und der Alkohol war kaum verbrannt - handwerklich sehr schlecht 6. Bedienung vergaß dass bei Hauptspeise keine Beilage dabei ist 7. Wasser mussten wir selber nachschenken 8. die Jacken wurden abgenommen und mitgenommen, aber beim Gehen nicht wieder gebracht - insgesamt erwarte ich in der Preisklasse einen ganz anderen Service und Personal, das weiß was es tut und wie es sich bei dem Klientel zu verhalten hat Schade, außer hübscher Location leider nicht viel mehr zu bieten. Ich rate absolut ab.

Dunkles, modernes und entspanntes Ambiente. Interessanter Mix aus legere und hochklassig. Das Sushi hat mich persönlich sowohl von der Geschmackskomposition als auch vom Mundgefühl nicht überzeugt. Die Tostadas fand ich dafür ziemlich gut. Die Crispy Thai Duck war solide aber für meinen Geschmack zu Standard. Dabei soll nicht unerwähnt bleiben dass die Karte noch einige extravagante Optionen bietet, dabei aber trotzdem sehr übersichtlich und geradlinig ist. Das Motto ist gut getroffen. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und zuvorkommend.

Das Essen war kunstvoll angerichtet. Vorspeise, Hauptgericht (Ente, Hähnchen, Filet) sowie Nachspeise waren auf dem Punkt und haben köstlich geschmeckt. Wir fanden den Abend wunderbar. Sowohl Ambiente, Service und Essen waren auf den Punkt. Die Weinpreise waren etwas überzogen.

Ceviche bestand aus gekochten Meeresfrüchten! Ceviche ist normalerweise aus rohen Zutaten mariniert! Würzung langweilig Cajun Octopus gut, Lobster Salad sehr gut, Sashimi Moriawase gut. Weine überteuert, wahrscheinlich der Umgebung (Banker mit hohem Spesenkonto) angepasst. Die zweitgünstigste Flasche Deutscher Weißwein 85,00Euro??? Wir mussten am Schluss 10 Minuten auf den abgängigen Valet-Service warten um die Autoschlüssel zu erhalten.

Möchte mich vor allen Dingen an unseren Oberkellner bedanken, der sogar nachgefragt hat ob man noch Auto fahren kann oder sollte es besser ein Taxi rufen. Dies ist fürsorglich und ein ausgezeichneter Service

Nach etlicher Zeit wieder hier gewesen und ich muss sagen der Service und das Wohlfühllevel haben am letzten Besuch direkt angeknüpft. Wieder einmal ist man herzlich und freundlich empfangen worden. Insbesondere den tollen Service und die äußerst freundlichen Angestellten gilt es hier zuloben, die aufmerksam, vorbereitet, professionell und sehr schnell sind, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Selbst meine Begleitung, die zum ersten Mal da war, wurde in Punkto Getränke und Speisen sanft herangeführt bzw. bestens beraten. Das Burbank an sich ist in allem somit immer noch eines der gemütlichsten Spots in Ffm. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend und bis ganz bald wieder.

Superb service & great asian-fusion kitchen! Had a birthday dinner here. Service was superb: friendly & quick. Food was nice, good portions. Had the filet mignon, crispy duck and chicken with sides. Recommend the Brunello Di Montalcino.
