Onocubes in Frankfurt am Main

Personally, I wasn't that impressed with the food. The atmosphere was quite pleasant, but the service wasn't outstanding.

We were here for the first time. The dishes were incredibly delicious and beautifully presented. You can see and taste the quality. Meat, fish, vegetarian, and vegan options, everything is there. A good and extensive selection. Good value for money. Super friendly service. We'll be back.

This is a small shop that, to be honest, I initially thought was just an Instagram spot, but the food was actually really good. We had the spring rolls, which not only looked beautiful but were also incredibly delicious, and two bowls, which were also very good. The only downside was that the waiter overlooked us a bit when we were about to pay, but hopefully that was an exception, because the service was otherwise excellent.

We had three different bowls and this super delicious calamansi. If we had left now, I would have had to give it 5 stars straight away and that would be the end of it. But things turned out completely differently. Our kids wanted the croissant waffles with yoghurt-forest fruit ice cream, so they ordered and waited, waited and waited for a very long time. There was now a small company outside, apparently family/friends, because all the staff were just there - but not to serve, but rather sitting and... yes, what actually?? But at some point the ice cream came for the kids and everything seemed to be okay again. Until our 4 year old spit out the ice cream in disgust and shortly afterwards her brother did too. Instead of yogurt-forest fruit ice cream (as advertised on the menu) there was RUM-RAISIN ice cream!! We tried in vain to draw the staff's attention to us, but they were still “busy” outside. At some point we were able to make our waitress aware of the problem, but the only way he knew how to help himself was to bring in another employee (boss?) who accused us in an artificially high voice of why we hadn't chosen a different flavor of ice cream! We chose exactly the dessert from the menu; we weren't asked what type of ice cream we would like. We had to point out to him several times that ice cream with RUM was being served to children, but that didn't prompt him to even begin to apologize. But he got even bitchier and higher and felt like he wanted to make us go. So are we. We have never experienced so much ignorance. But the food and drinks were still great!

The food is not bad, but nothing special. I don’t understand how it’s is extremely highly rated. It’s very expensive for what it is, dishes are very overpriced!

Onocubes is recommended. The reservation was quick and easy via the website and there was even a reminder time. Tuesday evening during the week it wasn't too crowded either, which is good since the store is very small and cramped. The service was very attentive and friendly and the food was delicious and beautifully prepared. The selection of drinks was also very varied and interesting. I would have a small criticism regarding starters/tapas and dessert, which I found to be slightly too expensive.

Without a table reservation, it can happen that you have to get up after 30 minutes because the next guest arrives. Unfortunately, no consideration is given as to whether you have finished eating!

We were there with a Neotaste voucher, but it was only valid for the two cheapest and most boring dishes on the menu. We then took other dishes that didn't look like the ones in the pictures, but had a lot of cheaper ingredients (e.g. iceberg lettuce instead of edamame).

Nice and cozy restaurant with a slightly more unusual menu (Asian Fusion Tapas suits it well). I've already tried various bowls and appetizers, all of them very tasty so far. Fast & attentive service.

Actually a nice place with a good idea, but: - When I asked what the specialties were and which food was recommended, I didn't get an answer, I was shown all the dishes, I decided on the squid balls with kumquat and flambéed salmon in the bowl. - Squid balls with kumquat Very doughy, hardly any squid, little kumquat, hardly any flavor or spices - flambéed salmon bowl Salmon very tasty, unfortunately far too little, estimated at less than 100g Rice very mushy Rest ok could be seasoned better. You've had enough Price too expensive.

Food was okay. Bowls were good, but somehow we were missing that last bit to say we would drive back to Frankfuirt just to eat here. Basically tasty, you can make it.

After two years of dining at this restaurant multiple times, I finally tried the new pho dish that was recently added to the menu. My first impression was that the aroma of the broth was very fragrant, combined with the scent of onions and cooked beef. The amount of fat in the broth was just right. However, for an average Asian portion, the bowl of pho seemed a bit large. Additionally, the staff here are rated better than average, possibly because most of them are family, making everything feel quite relaxed. I’m very satisfied with this new pho dish, and I hope that next time they can add beef meatballs or chicken pho for more options.

My group commented 5* ++ because of: - the difference in the restaurant decoration - the difference in the menu and decoration - the variety and sophistication, creativity in the transformation. - delicious, suitable portion sizes - the team put all their heart into their cooking and customer service. Sophisticated eaters can recognize that!

Absolutely loved this restaurant! The Asian Fusion cuisine is not only creative and delicious, but also perfect for vegans. Cool location, good food and nice service.

The food was just ok. The salad that came in the bowl wasn't fresh. I got the impression they were trying to sell the idea of ​​fusion and healthy food, but I didn't see anything special. Simply too expensive!

Did not switch on AC though the weather was hot! Ordered thai curry, vegetables were not cooked! Thai curry was watery, tofu smelled different. Rice was good though. Guava jukce was good but costly.

Some beautiful places can only be recognized at second or third glance. How many times have I driven past this place without knowing what I was missing before a good friend suggested this wonderful restaurant for lunch. And we haven't regretted it. The service is impeccable. The food is presented quickly and extremely attractively. And it tastes good! If you've driven past more often, make a stop next time! It is worth it!

We wanted to redeem the Neotaste promo, but it was only possible for a few dishes and only on certain days. The service was neither customer-oriented nor hard-working, payment for example. only possible with paypal.

We were absolutely thrilled with this small, cozy restaurant. From the furnishings to the food, everything here is made with a lot of love, you can tell that straight away. The Asian tapas are very unusual and incredibly tasty. The delicious homemade drinks are also highly recommended. We will definitely come back!

Highly recommend the Corny Cow Bowl! The filled chickpea balls were delicious and vegan. I absolutely adored the homemade calamansi drink. Staff is super friendly and attentive. A must visit for all bowl lovers!

Unfortunately, the good reviews don't make sense to me. The service is tip top, very friendly and attentive! The room is very small, the seating is tight and it is incredibly loud. But our tablemates were funny, so that was pretty okay. The decoration is completely artificial, all plastic... at least the straws are sustainable. The food tastes good, but the prices are really overpriced for the cost of the goods. The sweet potato fries are good. The salmon fillet is half a portion of a fillet and the rest in the bowl was salad, rice and then pineapple, beans, corn and canned red cabbage... sorry, but I can put that together at home too... it has to do with fusion cuisine unrelated to. We were very disappointed.

Paid €80 for two people, but there was very little meat. Women's restroom had no toilet paper and is generally difficult to find. It's all very tight and you don't really feel comfortable. Service was ok, but I wouldn't come back.

Das Essen war gut und ist zu empfehlen! Muss aber sagen, wir haben schon öfters bestellt und früher war es im ganzen ein wenig mehr gewürzt. Die Kirchenerbsen Bällchen (alle Sorten) sind der Hammer!

Fantastisches kleines Restaurant mit richtig leckeren und kreativen Poke Bowls mit jeder Menge frischen Zutaten. Das Personal ist freundlich und aufmerksam und die Inneneinrichtung ist wirklich wunderschön. Klare Empfehlung!

Essen an sich war lecker, von 5 kleinen chips Kügelchen gefüllt mit Salat wird man nur leider nicht satt. Ich würde empfehlen die Tapas lediglich als Vorspeise zu bestellen statt sie als Hauptgang zu teilen, denn sonst muss man doppelt bestellen & zahlen;)

Zum Mittagessen hier zufällig gelandet und absolut positiv überrascht worden. Sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung, detailverliebtes Ambiente und die Bowl war überragend. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Leider eine sehr trockene Bowl und das Preisleistungsverhältnis passt dann gar nicht. Ich hatte die Lachsbowl mit Süsskartoffeln. Es war alles extrem trocken und vor allem der Salat hat dadurch nach nichts geschmeckt. Kaum bis gar keine Soße vorhanden. Ich war sehr enttäuscht. Dafür beinahe 20€ zu bezahlen finde ich überzogen. Mitarbeiter waren aber nett und der Laden ist super gemütlich.

Ein Erlebnis. Leckeres Essen und tolles Ambiente

Für mich nur ein Instagram-Restaurant - sieht schön aus, aber geschmacklich kein Highlight. Bei der Inneneinrichtung sowie dem Anrichten von Getränken und Essen hat man sich viel Mühe gegeben. Diese Mühe habe ich beim Essen nicht rausschmecken können. Der Nachtisch (ice and Fire) war jedoch gut. Zudem war der Preis für den Geschmack ziemlich hoch. Beim nächsten Mal wird es hoffentlich besser.

Simply the best! Eher zufällig hab ich damals von diesem kleinen Laden erfahren. Und seitdem war ich schon oft dort, habe sogar mal bei einem sehr charmanten Kochkurs mitgemacht. Linh und sein Team arbeiten mit Herz. Hier sind die Zutaten frisch und von bester Qualität. Und die Räume sind durchweg originell gestaltet, fast wie ein kleiner Dschungel. Ach ja, und es gibt natürlich fantastische Bowls - muss man das noch erwähnen, grins?

Super leckere Gerichte und aufregende Küche. Die Location ist von innen und außen ein absoluter Hingucker und alles in allem ein kulinarisches Highlight.

12/10 Fantastisches Essen. Von der Vorspeise bis zum Nachtisch hat alles hervorragend geschmeckt. Grosse Auswahl an veganen Speisen und fast jedes Gericht kann vegan bestellt werden. Wir kommen definitiv wieder !

Sehr stylische kleine Location, ein echter Hingucker und guter Insta-Spot 😉 wir waren an einem Donnerstagabend da, haben vorher reserviert. Das Restaurant war auch gut besucht. Kreative asiatische Küche und das Essen wird schön serviert. Wir hatten eine Vorspeise und 2 Bowls bestellt. Die Bowl-Portionen sind eher klein. Alles hat gut geschmeckt, aber ein gewisses Etwas hat gefehlt.

Overall delicious, but I personally got a no. 4 crunchy sake, and felt like the piece of salmon was quite underwhelming compared to amount of meat in dish 3&5 and didn't reflect picture in the menucard.

Tolles Restaurant, Essen ist sehr lecker und auch für Vegetarier/ Veganer gibt's viel Auswahl. Bei der Bestellung wurde darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass eine bestellte Sache nicht vegan ist, was mir sehr positiv aufgefallen ist. Das Restaurant ist etwas klein, der Service ist nett, Ambiente ist gut :)

Wir wollten das Onocubes schon länger ausprobieren. Die Getränke waren lecker und wurden ansprechend serviert. Vor allem der Zuckerrohrsaft war richtig lecker! Ein Hingucker ist auch das Essen, welches sehr ansprechend serviert wird. Wir waren ziemlich hungrig und wollten daher jeder eine Bowl essen. Leider haben wir dabei nicht gesehen, dass der Caesar Salat auch unter Bowls aufgeführt wird. Dieser war zwar lecker, allerdings von der Portion nicht ganz ausreichend. Das Lokal ist innen und im Aussenbereich sehr stylish und mit viel (kunst)Pflanzendeko definitiv ein absoluter Blickfang und die Gewitterwolke auf dem WC ist einmalig.

Sehr guter und schneller Service! Kreative Vorspeisen und leckere Bowls und viele vegane/vegetarische Optionen. Preislich sehr in Ordnung - klare Empfehlung!

This is my favourite poke in the city. The flambé salmon is amazing. The place is a bit small, and it’s right next to a big street so it can be a bit distracting if u sit outside, but the service is very nice! Just make sure you have cash or paypal as they don’t take card. But would come back again for sure.

Sehr leckere Bowls in einer coolen Atmosphäre und fairen Preisen

Ca. 20 Minuten vom Römer liegt das Onocubes etwas unscheinbar an der Straßenseite. Innen erwartet den Gast ein kleiner, optimal genutzter Gastraum mit Dschungelatmosphäre. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und die Bestellung geht recht flott. Die Vorspeisen-Tapas mit Tintenfisch und Kirchererbsenbällchen schmeckten ausgezeichnet, ebenso wie das Hauptgericht mit gegrillten Lachs, Süßkartoffelfritten und reichlich Gemüse. Auch das Veggie-Meddley war ausgezeichnet. Der Weg nach etwas außerhalb lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Wer gerne asiatisch isst, ist hier auf jeden Fall richtig!
